Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo
Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo offers a great day out for all the family. Rides come in four different adventure levels - Mini Adventurers (for tiny tots), Junior Adventurers (for younger
adventurers), Family Adventurers and Experienced Adventurers for the really brave.
The zoo has a wide range of animals including gorillas, lions, leopards, tigers, monkeys, birds, sealions, reptiles, creepy crawlies and a children's zoo where kids can interact with pygmy goats, pot
bellied pigs and sheep. In 2008 a new Sea Life Centre opened in the zoo. The 250,000 litre aquarium has over 20 marine displays with a wide variety of fish from clownfish to sharks and stingrays.
There is a walkthrough ocean tank where the fish swim overhead.
The park has an on-site Holiday Inn with a safari theme for those who want to stay overnight.
Chessington is situated 12 miles from London on the A243, 2 miles from the A3 and M25 (junction 9 or 10). Car parking is free. From the South, take M25 junction 9. From the North, take M25 junction
10. From London, take the A3 to Hook and Chessington is signposted on the A243.
