Reviewed by Paul Davies on 17/02/2013 Never again,. Slow speeds, disruption in service. Router keeps crashing, wireless only works if your laptop or phone is in the same room. keep ketting told to wait and let thing settle as in time will get better. Kept telling me this time and time again just to stall you from pulling out of the cooling period., Now a year in, no improvments, paying for someting I cannot use, tied to a 18 monthr contract. Calling them is a waste of time. Put through to an Indian call centre, where they read from scripts and their answers are not even related to what you ask. May well be talking to a machine. I had to give up the fight and put up in the end, now trapped for the whole contracts paying for something I cannot use, Do your self a favour, and avoid if you are thinking of joining. Update on this. after paying for an 18 month contract not getting what I paid for and very poor service and poor internet contract has come to an end. The cheeky guys want to charge a disconnnection fee too to add insult to injury paying more for a service never received after trying to get a MAC code. They were very rude and flippant when we were talking about the issues even laughing at the fact we had been scammed by poor service. I don't expect a reply form them regarding this though. Will be complaining to Offcom this week. Rating:

Reviewed by Phil Henchliffe on 05/12/2011 We had great service for about 18 months, but then we started getting packet loss at peak times. After a few months of customer service rubbish, we get almost constant packet loss. The ping is fine, the packet loss is awful. They sent us 3 wireless hubs and still no change. BT tested the line, said it was fine... but it clearly is not. They just can not be bothered to spend that bit more for customer satisfaction. We are probably going to change though, this is just outrageous!! Rating:
Reviewed by billybob on 21/11/2011 appalling stability regarding connection drops, 700kbps speed after 3 pm make Orange broadband useless for gaming or anything else that requires a 'real time' conection. utterly indifferent support, callbacks not made when guaranteed and hostility when you get to level 3 (level1+2 are in india, 3 is in uk). diabolical package used as a loss leader to get people onto mobile phone contracts, cannot stress enough, do not take this ISP Rating:
Reviewed by Jay on 16/11/2011 Poor customer service, connection issues and slow speeds. Just changed from o2 for what Orange claimed to be the same package for slightly cheaper, changing providers was a big mistake because this service is terrible Rating:
Reviewed by Bob Turnton on 19/10/2011 Unbelievably bad customer service; unable to resolve faults or do anything beyond reading from a crib sheet - this includes returning calls when they promise to do so. Impossible to speak to a supervisor and they will fob you off continually. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Rating:
Reviewed by Craig on 14/10/2011 Stay away from orange broardband it is THE worst Internet I have ever used. Drops connection all the time, every day it won't pick up items connected to it such as iPhones or lap tops. Customer device is a joke. Poor speeds 99% of the time, the list is endless! I can't wait to leave and go somewhere that can actually provide what you pay for. Rating:

Reviewed by perry on 26/06/2011 Do not go with Orange!! Absolutely rubbish!!! Have had orange broadband for 1 year and have had to ring them about 30 times. Tech support are rubbish and never log the calls. Customer support always tell you to ring tomorrow to speak to someone who isn't in that day! Average download speed 1.46mbps and 0.24mbps!! Have given up on trying to watch i-player and youtube - impossible!! Very unhappy with the service and have been told I have to pay £196 to leave!!! If I had made continuous complaint for 4 weeks then there would be no charge, which I had but because tech support in india doesn't bother logging all the calls they have got out of it as my calls are not on the computer (what a surprise). Very bad customer support and extremely not happy. It is all wrong how they can get away with it! :( Rating:
Reviewed by Rory Wilton on 25/10/2010 I have been 'negotiating' with Orange over my broadband speed for more than two years! For the first 21 months of my connection I was getting around 6.5 to 7 mbps, which I was very pleased with. But in December 2008 my connection speed plummeted to 512kbps and has been there and slower ever since. I have been promised on numerous occasions that my case will be looked into/fixed with urgent effect. This has never happened. The excuses I've been provided with range from 'it's BT's fault, they've turned the speed down on your line' to 'I'm sorry, but you've never had a connection speed of over 512 kbps'. I now connect wirelessly through my brothers broadband next door (he gets a consistent 7 mbps). Don't get Orange broadband. They have no interest in providing you with a quality service, they are only interested in your money - customer services are in India somewhere, where the poor call centre staff are provided with the minimum of training to help with service problems. Take your business elsewhere, as I am doing, and don't waste your time. A rating of 'POOR' is very generous. Rating:
Reviewed by michelle on 01/07/2010 I have to agree with almost everyone on here. I dont reccommend Orange broadband at all! Everything was fine for the first few months, but now I CANT EVEN GET A CONNECTION. It is a load of rubbish and there is no customer service. EXTREMELY POOR. Rating:

Reviewed by Warren on 14/09/2009 orange have put my price up 4 times over the past 3 years.. They advertise free livebox phone calls that NEVER work , the speed is rubbish , i live 2 minutes from my exchange and i get the maximum of 3mbps instead of 8mbps.. The customer service WELL!!! dont get me started , they dont understand what your trying to get accross , they place you on hold for maximum of 30 minutes which costs like £10 for the call , they say the issue will be resolved within 72 hours and it NEVER is. In terms of value orange has to be the worst ever broadband provider in existance , there has been times where i may as well have been on dial up.. The drama got worse in July of 2009 when they wrote to me saying that i no longer live in a active orange area therefore i have to pay £23.00 a month JUST for broadband alone! I would'nt reccomend orange to any one , stay away from them and get your self a much better provider ! Rating:
Reviewed by Dilytink on 10/09/2009 The broadband WAS ok but yesterday and today its on the blink...a GPRS problem apparently, AND its never worked at all the places I want to take my laptop...AND the "fixed cost no hidden extras laptop and mobile dongle free for the first 500 users for small businesses" offer that came with a mobile phone invoice just hasnt provided what it offered - It should be £34.87 uk for 18 months, with the laptop and fair usage internet exploring....i received an email that said fair usage meant that it was ok to go over the 5gb as long as it wasnt persistent...and at 490mb over the limit they want double the cost of the laptop and dongle...same with a phone last xmas, they forgot the internet bundle and tried to charge £79 for about 2mb browsing (one vid downloaded at christmas!!) two months later it was sorted out....am still waiting to sort the laptop account cost for broadband out on the small business (micro biz) dept. Now I have been without the broadband for 38 hours.. .and last week on holiday couldnt access it at all....despite the map saying orange was available. I could use a vodaphone dongle and buy 1GB for about £45 but whats the point.....AND i've been told to shut up and let the customer services team leader speak on the phone....the customer is always right (unless they're a leftie....and want some service for their money....) watch this space. If the invoice finally appears in the proper format at the end of this month...they just and only just become ok to trade in my opinion. Rating:

Reviewed by Elizabeth Baker on 24/12/2008 Orange are appauling. When they work and you don't have to talk to customer services they're fine. But as soon as you have a problem they are just terrible. For the past month our internet speed has slowed down to dial up speed and disconnected all together and all we are told is "we will call you back in 24 hours". On the off chance that they DO call back it's just to tell us our internet still doesn't work. You also end up talking to someone in India who obviously just read from a screen and are of no use whatsoever. We are currently in the process of swapping our service elsewhere. The faults have still not been rectified but we're so desperate to get away from Orange we've actually stopped caring. Do yourselves a favour. Just don't go with Orange. Just don't do it. Rating:
