Options include Sky+, a personal video recorder (PVR) system that lets you record programs digitally and even lets you pause and rewind live TV. Sky HD offers a growing number of High-Definition (HD) channels.

I have been with Sky for over one year now and would say I have been a loyal customer having the full package and never missed a payment. Sky on the other hand there products are good but there customer service department is the worst I have ever dealt with. They keep you on the phone for hours passing you from department to department giving the wrong information and prices. They constantly say my colleague must have made a mistake. I recently tried to get sky multi room installed it took about six hours and five days of phone calls and misinformation to finally get it. They installed it for me but have failed to send me a viewing card saying there are loads of errors on my account (which they have obviously caused) that need to be fixed before they can send me a viewing card. So I can't watch it any way. Sky customer service is a absolute joke they don't provide any service at all. It has cost me £40 in phone calls for absolutely nothing. If there was any other op tion for me I would definatly leave sky but unfortunatly they are the only way I can get a reception. My advice would be steer well clear of sky.

Have been with Sky for more than 6 years and with Sky+ for 3 years. It's a really good service, with a wide range of channels. Good value, provided that you select an appropriate package and don't pay for stuff that you never watch. Reception is excellent, and tne electronic programme guide is just so easy to use, as is the Sky+ planner. The "series link" feature that will record a whole series with one click is brillinat. Service from Sky is top-rate too - their engineers really know their stuff. My only complaint is with the reliability of the Sky boxes. We have had two replaced over the years as they just seem to burn out. The engineers have told me that this is a common fault with all hard disk-based personal video recorders (PVR's). I have no experience of Sky HD, as our plasma TV is 4 years old and not HD Ready.
