This is my first mobile phone. At first, I was reluctant to buying a mobile phone, as I didn't think I would need one, but buying this has got to be the best thing I ever did. It's fast, reliable and very durable. It makes calls, sends and recieves messages and even has a built in colour screen and mini status screen on the front cover. This phone was excellent value and served me well, it has been through some tough times, but is still working and all in one piece, I have never had any problems with it at all. Superb phone.

I've had this phone for 5 years and I am loathe to give it up but alas our partnership must now end. Of course there is no camera blue tooth etc but as a reliable texter and phone it has been great. Only had to change the battery once and the charger once in all that time. Now to find a new sony ericsson that will last the test of time of design and reliability

Kindly someone guide me to get the WinXP drivers so I may use the Infrared port for dia-up connectivity for Z200 SE Otherwise I still get good comments about physical beauty, downside is 24 hr battery uptime.

I love this phone because its CUTE and HANDY...If you will use it in a nice and caring way It will not be destroy...so I recommend its cell phone...just take care of the flex....ciao...=)

I got my Sony Erricson Z200 mobile telephone from a certin internet auction site 2 years ago. I have had my Z200 ever since. It is great. It hasn't broke once. As well as making telephone calls, it can also sent text messages which are useful when you need to comunicate with someone that you don't really like. My sister got two of these fancy modern telephones which can do much more that needed, and moth have broken many times. Mine has never gone wrong. It's great.

this phone can do nothing.the infrafed is not working and everything is not perfect.i don't know wht is going on wit this phone but because there are so many people can't gives many star to this phone maybe i just have to give full star with no honesty tq. ;p

i saw this phone and fell in love with it..i looked at the description and saw it didnt have a camera or radio or mp3 player...so how could i be disappointed in it not having them.. it came with a freebie personal CD player so i estimate the dead cost was £49 for the phone that was 2 1/2 years ago..the battery is beginning to need more charging now ...maybe every 4 days but a new one costs £8..i wont give up the Z200 till it breaks...its a cool baby dont know where all you folks got the dummy ones bless you

I USED THIS PHONE 2 years.and now it has some problems,but only with the battery.so, I only have to change it.it worked well this 2 years,considering that once I dropped in water.but still, after this situation it worked for 1,5 years.so, I can't complain.I don't need all that functions,that ather phones have.a phone is for communication. i like it

SONY ERICSSON Z200:- do not buy this phone if u r looking fr quality. it's typical, nothing new as u can see not even nan mp3 player or camera!! i only gt it coz i was begging, but i am thankful. Atleast i hav one unlike other ppl who dont hav one at all! but then they go and wait n then get the best phone possible, ANYWAY POINT IS DONT BUY IT!!!

Well its a good looking fone and i guess thats why i bought it, but its kind of a let down when it comes to connectivity - no bluetooth, no mp3 player and it also doesnt have a camera. But like you say its kool if you jst want a fone. But on the plus the wallpapers and ringtones are pretty good.

I LOVED this phone so much..! Now I'm easy to please, just want it to call and text people and that's pretty much all I need. Never had a single problem, even accidentally had a horse stand on it, lived through everything untill my mother managed to drown it with a leaking bottle of evian in a waterproof duffle bag. And of course now they've disappeared altogether. Anyway, reading the rest of the reviews, I got the one that did work decently..

this phone is so rubbish it don't even have a cam on it or blue tooth. i only had mine for 2 months when it packed up and wouldn't let me send or resive texts all u people who say this is a good phone need to wakr up 2 the world and see whats around this phone is the worst phone ever.

This coming Christmas, I will have had this phone for two years. It's doing me fine... except for the reception and battery. The batter lasts me around 3 days max before I need to charge it again. The reception, sorry to say, is rubbish. It's completely stupid. Whenever there's a storm, the reception is perfect, and whenever the skies are clear, I have to walk around for 5 minutes in order to find good reception. Other than those two things, the phone isn't that bad. It does what it needs to do.

Hey, This phone is easy to use and great for just someone who is easy going and doesn't spend $500 on a month phone bill. I like this phone although it is a little bit bulky.The face plate is kind of hard to take off but you'll get the hang of it after two or three weeks (You can use a flathead screwdriver.) Anyways this phone is excellent! I was out snowboarding took a wicked bail x_x landed on my phone and I was like OMG! I took it out and it was fine. Perfect for anyone who needs 1)A CHEAP EASY to use cell phone 2)A phone for emergencys 3)A phone you know won't just stop working

Dear i bougth this phone this year 2006,after a view months i began to notice that the phone had stated developing problems like and quick run down of battery also showing INSERT SIM when i am receiving a call and this terminates the calls coming in,in my own opinion this phone is a problem phone,quit from it.thanks

I bought this phone because it looks rather funky and sony ericsson i had heard were pretty reliable. However after 18 months it has completely given up. The chargewr hs broke therefore I cannot charge my phone, and when it actually does charge the battery life does not last longer than 2/3 hours, which is pretty useless when i am out and about. This phone no-longer lets me make or receive calls either I can't hear the person who has called me, or they can't hear me, so i resorted to just texting for a few months. The texting facility was at first excellent, but soon enough it has slowed down enormously and it now takes so long i just can't be bothered. Trying to find numbers in the phone book also takes a million years as its soooo slow. But in the phone's defence I have got my use out of it and used it a lot but its a little disappointing after 18 months to find it has given up. This phone is great to start with, but in my experience it soon slows down and it becomes extremely frustrating to do even the simplest of tasks. Design wise i think its excellent, but thats about all it has going for it sadly.

Great phone :) I have it for about a year now and im still happy bout it. I dont want all that picture/mp3 crap so i searched for a decent one and this was it! Nice looking, great colours, vibrates better than my old nokia even.
You're looking at one happy girl here ;)
and all those who want a mp3/pic cam.. sony made more than one phone ya know :P try spending some money for it then !

I had the K300i model, it was stolen so i had to buy a new one, the z200. It's not that bad, it looks very good, i just don't like the software of it, it's so obsolet!!!! anyway i like it very much

I love it! Its groovy looking, and i find it really easy to use! I love the choice of wallpapers,and the ringtones 2! Now all i do is text people and ring my mates! Thsoe who say its rubbish obviously don't know a good phone wen they see one. Just needs a camera now...

Although I've been warned about this phone I could not stop myself from buying one because of it magnificent design (five stars on that one). It is true that this phone has no bluetooth nor camera but since I do not want all those fancy functions I bought z200. But after a few days it started putting itself of. not oly the battery life is too short (1,5 days in standby!! even my first phone a1018 lasted longer in its last days!!), the phone has some problems with sending text messages; namely it sometimes failes to send the 2nd message when the message is too long. For I have been warned all about this I guess I have no one to blame. It seems I bought another fancy watch for more than one hundrend dollars. yeah, yeah, good for me :(

It is a amazing phone. Ilove the ringtones! Every time it rings everyone looks at me! If you want a camrea phone I wouldn't recommend it because I recently got a Motorola V220 and the quality of the picture is awful! So if it doesn't have a camera or mp3 player then go buy them or get a phone with them! And from what I have heard and recently bought(haven't recieved yet) you can get a camera attachment for this phone!

Yes, me again! Well, they replaced the phone with a new one & 12 mnth warranty, but...guess what...Oct 20, just over a month new, more faults and they are different faults to the last phone. I told the Manager of the Optus store that if i had to return to the store because of faults with this new phone that he better duck when i launch the phone at him!...

This phone is rubbish! - as is the service from Sony Ericsson. Bought mine Dec '03 (Aust.). First thoughts - slow... Slow to do everything! Slow to turn on (that's if it actually does turn on), slow to access sim card etc, etc... Then the faults started June '04. Wouldn't turn on, wouldn't access sim, wouldn't recharge....Took it in for repair (they just upgraded the software). Not long before probs again. More faults now turning on & off, resetting date & time. Took in for repair 9 Aug '04, didn't get it back until 25 Aug. But before i even left the car park, i returned the phone that clearly wasn't mine. Had a back cover that didn't match, had been hacked at (when they've removed covers etc). The Manager promised I'd receive a brand new handset - but no...Today 6 Sept I went to pick up my handset, only to find another phone that has been put together with 2nd hand parts. Needless to say i am fuming!

Got to agree with Daddy on this one. This is without a doubt the worst phone I have ever owned. I should have known better than to buy one after owning a t68 a few years ago which was also dreadful in a similar way. Sure the Z200 looks the part, but the texting is slow and you have to press the keys double hard to get it to spell texts properly. In recent months my (6 month old) phone has developed a software fault whereby when I have a missed call - pressing "yes" to see who has called me results in the phone switiching itself off. Once you switch it back on (which takes an age) and look down the call list to see who the call was from it doesn't display it! The final straw came this week when the flimsy connector that connects the charger to the phone developed a fault, and so I cannot charge the phone up. I have a Nokia 6230 for business use and it is near perfect, next time I'll buy one of those.

Ok, for those of you who want a review from someone who doesn't feel the need to spell their name with punctuation. The Z200 is a decent basic phone. If you want bells and whistles (ie. MMS/camera/BT etc) look elsewhere. If you want a stylish (arguable maybe) well constructed phone that does the basics well this may be a good choice. A friend purchased hers for $150C cash (no contract) so they definetly competitively priced as well.

Got the z200 the day it came out and it is shocking. The texting is slow and the inbox takes forever to load. The only good Features are the text counter and games.was not impressed havenow taken it back and am going for the v600.

WOW....amazing this phone is wonderful, etrxa-high quality, exchangable coers 40-tone polyphonic ringtones.....the best on the market, display quality -WOW!!!! No bluetooth(i say useless feature though) No posibillity for camera either(another usless feature as picture quality on phones-sucks anyway) Amazing phone must get!!!
