Dead poor - I am neither technophobe nor geek but this is the most unintuitve piece of junk I have ever had. It doesn't seem to do anything at the right time and in the right place. To say that people are too stupid to use this phone is not the point - iphones are both clever but also intuitive, and you don't have to be an android technogeek to use them, or nokias, or a motorolas, all of which I have had and which I rate as hugely superior. I have not had the reliability issues reported elsewhere, but I have had to do a factory reset which is tedious. I can't wai for my contract to end.

Not good. Its slow to react and process, especially when having lots of texting conversations or doing anything quickly. Charger often doesnt connect probably and takes ages to get it to charge, but is better if you turn it off. I like the apps and internet is good. I wouldn't recomend it to anyone who uses their phones alot.

The phone is not bad,good to use if yr not good wivth tech,but iv had myne 4 weeks and iv had to put into repair realy not happy, some how the antenner bust, god knows wots happend,STRANGE,

WORST PHONE I HAVE EVER OWNED !!!!! Problems started from day 1 The phone got sent to the wrong door n driver coulded tell us wht door he sent it to .. so had 2 go looking round doors n finally got it. The camera and video quality is rubbish,no flash and no zooming.Volume when playing songs or videos also not good didnt matter tho had my ipod touch.First fews days of having it turns its self on and off all the time constanly flashes through things on the phone and cant control it. GOT IT SENT AWAY TO BE FIXED BY O2 CAME BACK WITH PARTS MISSING N O2 THEN SAYED THEY DIDNT EXIST IN FIRST PLACE FULL OF RUBBISH THEY DID ALSO WHEN THE LETTER CAME BACK THAT IT WAS FIXED IT WASNT THE PROBLEMS GOT WORSE. When i started to phone people i could hear them fine but they coulded hear me for some reason also the turning off and flashing started to happen again got it sent away again then got it back saying there wasnt a problem with it when there clearly is !!! Still have the fone 10 months later n im dying to get rid of it skint because of holiday but new fone definitly on my birthday list !! EVEN SAYS RATE THE PHONE HERE I WOULDED GIVE IT 1 START BUT ONLY CAUSE A HAVE 2

Actually, I disagree that this is a good phone worht 4 stars. It's dreadful. The touch screen is awful, very unresponsive, the widgets constantly rearrange if you touch one for a second too long, the list of gripes goes on and on. Reception dreadful, and I live in a good reception area.Won't turn off properly, turns back on. Doesn't always end calls properly, sometimes it just keeps going ! I have had both SE's and other touchscreens too, so no stranger to such phones, but this is the worst phone I have ever had. Android is lovely, on a phone that works.... avoid this one like the plague.

the xperia x8 isn't the best cellphone, i agree, but according to the price then it's really worth buying it. some people sais that it sucks because of many things like the camera, musicplayer,battery life and other stuffs like that. those who thinks so just are stupid enough to not know that if a cellphone is cheap then it's not the best. OF COURSE, the cellphone lacks but that's why it's so cheap!!

Had this phone for just a month... Bought new battery already ( sigh..) and the camera hard to focus... Other than that everythings ok..

Had this phone for 4 months before commenting. I think that the persons giving negative feedback are not clever enough to use a phone. I spent a lot of time knowing the far end of a fart of this phone and what you put in is what you get out.

ITS HAS A REALLY GD PICTURE QUALITY BT THE PROCEDURE IS TOO CONFUSING......... N A LOW SOUND SYSTEM.

I love the phone would like flash player this would make it better I have app for zoom this works fine and camera is ok another good phone from se at a good price

got one of these yesterday as an upgrade for my nokia 6700 classic. Ive sent it back tho! Its the worst phone ive ever tried! The touchscreen either didnt work at all or gave the wrong icons up. the wifi would not connect to the internet even tho the phone said it had excellent connections! The 4 shortcuts on the screen are supposed to be interchangeable with any of the other menu icons - they would not move! the menu is filled with tiny little icons that open silly games etc that anyone over 12 would have no interest in! there is very little scope to customise the screen/ menu,The user guide ( ha ha) is one sheet of paper! There IS a slightly better guide you can open but its on the 2Gb micro SD that comes with the phone ... so when you fit you own bigger card with all your music etc .. you no longer have the guide! I cant understand this new thing about not giving a users manual with phones? Surely it doesnt cost that much to print a proper manual? Last one I had for a Moto K1 was about 250 pages long & these new phones do so much more but you can never find out how to use all the functions! Insane! Anyway the sony X8? DONT BUY IT! ITS RUBBISH!
