Reviewed by Leanish on 03/11/2011 I've always had a Sony Ericsson phone, but here's where the relationship ends!! HATE HATE HATE this phone, got mine on a contract and now looking to buy another phone!. Battery life is rubbish, even rubbish er if you are WiFi or blue tooth, be lucky to last the day!!. nightmare to end a call as screen disappears, Taking pictures is a nightmare if you have an orange phone, just everything about this phone makes me go gurrr. Avoid at all cost!! shame they don't have an option for NO stars!! Rating:

Reviewed by Holly on 30/10/2011 I'm puzzled by this phone. I've had it for almost a yeah. I absolutely adored it, but over time I find i'm getting angrier with it. Positives: The screen is to respond to Good size for not big hands Wifi and 3G signal pretty good (but I think that's because of my network provider) Cameras good Pictures upload easily to facebook, with facebook app Battery life's fine because naturally I charge my phone every night Despite dropping it down the toilet it still works exactly the same :) and I thought I'd be dooooomed. Negatives: The screen likes to have it's moments where it freezes Find myself dropping it about 4 times a day because it slips out my hands Someone mentioned bluetooth.. Still not found it Sometimes I don't revieve texts for days and when I do it wakes me up in the night, this drives me crazy because I have to email instead which eats my battery and people think i'm ignoring them Texts like to merge together with ones from months ago that i've deleted and it's just weird Can't save mms's that have been sent, I had to download chomp sms, and now I can luckily It gives 'software updates' frequently, but I don't notice any change It won't download apps that should work, but are not 'compatible with my phone' for example viber, which I could reeeeally do with? And has pre-installed apps that I can't get rid of.. Neoreader, gold rush and pilot.. What even are they? The memory space isn't enough, I need to convert everything to sd card and can't be bothered Anyway, considering I dropped it down the loo, i'm pretty happy, but find myself wishing I had the iPhone 4S but I have to put up with this for another year... Heyho. Life goes on! Rating:

Reviewed by DJL on 27/10/2011 Shambolic piece of technology. Completely unreliable, terrible battery life, stuck on android 2.1, phone prone to freezing, app's freeze/crash at random, wifi connectivity erratic, these are but a selection of issues with the phone. Very poor effort from SE and the last SE product that I shall ever purchase too. Rating:
Reviewed by Jez on 25/10/2011 I've had the X10 for 15 months thus far and have generally been pleased with it. I was looking for a capable smartphone but didn't want to carry a large phone in my pocket so the X10 is an excellent compromise. I was concerned by the battery life under Android 1.6 when it was delivered, but an upgrade to 2.1 has resulted in me charging once every three or four days under normal operations. Nice to use, compact, robust and long battery life. I'm keeping it for my next contract. Rating:
Reviewed by Tim on 24/10/2011 This phone is great, but the stock rom 1.6 is now badly outdated. Even the Sony update to 2.1 isn't much of an improvement. However, if you don't mind spending a day on the XDA developers forums, rooting the phone and flashing CynogenMod and MiniCM7 transforms the old X10mini, allowing you to use the latest Gingerbread apps. You can even install the stock launcher, music player and XperiaArc theme for CM7 to get back the nice stock Sony Ericsson look and feel, while keeping the great Android 2.3 functionality. Reviewed by Dunk on 13/10/2011 If you want a small, inexpensive smart phone and have good eyesight then it is an excellent phone. If you want something bigger, then don't buy it. It's as simple as that. I've had mine for 15 months and it is all still running fine. I have rooted it, but the Sony UI wasn't terrible. I did it to get past Android 1.6. Sony took a bit of time making later versions of Android available to the phone. Rating:
Reviewed by sprinkle on 06/10/2011 love the x10 mini..although it's just a smaller version of the x10, i still got what i wanted..not bad for a 2.55" with a 5mp camera and over a bunch of supported apps.. :) Rating:

Reviewed by caroline on 14/09/2011 i think its an amazing phone and sits nicely in your hand downloads quick and im useless with phones but i have found it easy to use i have poor eye sight but can still see screen to text play games without my glasses very pleased with this phone Rating:
Reviewed by DJL on 12/09/2011 For the size of the phone, it has some impressive features but it's terrible reliability seriously lets it down: - * Cannot hold a secure wifi connection * Constantly turning itself off * Erratic battery life * Temperamental alarm clock * Erratic screen light sensor * Freezes daily and has to be reset * SE have washed their hands of it and are refusing to upgrade beyond android 2.1 I have had this phone for 10 months and it's gradually getting worse, SE have had it in for repair and despite reporting no fault found, they replaced the antenna, re-installed the OS again (which I do often) and none of the faults have been cured. This will be the last SE phone I purchase and to those who are contenplating purchasing this phone, don't, go for a Samsung Mini as my wife opted for, it's everything that this phone should have been. Reviewed by Beverley on 02/09/2011 Bought Experia X10 mini on 15 May 2011 and since then I have had the handset replaced 3 times due to the battery not charging at all, phone goes dead and will not charge. Looks great but thats about it. Bought through Orange store and they were no help at all. Paid £149.99 and would have been better off with a 'cheapy' Worst phone I have ever bought and would not recommend it to anyone. Since having problems I have read online reviews by other customers and they all say the same, I wish I had taken the time to read them prior to buying the phone Rating:
Reviewed by Laura on 31/08/2011 The worst phone I have ever had. The battery is rubbish, I have to charge it every day! The phone is very slow and freezes all the time. The charging socket is exposed so it is very easy to damage. I would advise not to waste your money on this phone to avoid disappointment and frustration. Rating:

Reviewed by Dave E on 25/07/2010 Great phone. It's a tiny unit which is the main reason I wanted it - to make calls and text. If you want all the bells and whistles of bigger units like an iPhone or HTC desire, then perhaps you'd better get one. My only gripes are that the bundled PC companion software is pretty poor and you cant save an incoming MMS to your photo album. I'm hoping the Android update due shortly will resolve the issues with this and bluetooth which I have read about but not suffered - it connects to my car kit perfectly. Great picture quality, great sound, great screen. So small you can keep it in a shirt top pocket - try that with an iphone! Overall I'm very impressed with it for the size. Even the battery life is good if you follow the instructions - let it run flat the first few times you use it, then recharge fully to condition the battery. Bit of a pain perhaps if you're the impatient sort, but it does seem to work. Rating:
Reviewed by susan wern on 04/07/2010 at first i loved this phone but but one or two things have put me off , the blue tooth will only pair but wont connect , if i get a photo text i can not save the picture only use it as a contact or wallpaper . and the battery runs out everyday . Rating:
