Reviewed by Olly on 28/05/2008 I am a huge SE fan but the W960i is a huge disappointment! As a consequence of this I have turned to the dark side and am now using the Nokia N95 8gb which is a far superior phone. I wanted to love the W960i but the frustrating user interface, poor quality camera and slow boot up times prevented the flagship walkman phone from winning me over. This could have been a 5 star phone but I'm affraid Nokia's N95 is a much safer bet, better luck next time SE! Rating:

Reviewed by Jules on 23/05/2008 I tried this phone out but it is really very very slow, and using the touchscreen is near on impossible unless you use the pen. If you want something with touchscreen and wifi go for the iPhone. If you just want a SE phone with walkman and basic camarea have a look at the W890i Rating:
Reviewed by Ronnie7 on 17/05/2008 Was unsure about getting this phone based on the mixed reviews below, but boy am i glad i took no notice of the negative reports. Had the phone for just over 3 weeks now, and it is an incredible peace of technology. Touch screen is very very responsive no issues, I love the user interface no issues what so ever. Music player is obviously superb love how it shows all the album covers as u flick through your files. The sound quality is excellent as u would expect from sony. The video player is also awesome...i have put a couple of movies onto the phone and its tv quality playback, even sharper picture than on my ipod video IMO. WLAN works like a dream and browsing the web is easy with the big screen. The camera is top top notch, this is my first SE and i knew from my brothers phone that they have the best cameras of any of the other mobile manufactureres by a mile. I also had a 3 mega pix cam on my last phone(samsung) but this one in terms of picture quality and every thing else blows that crappy samsung cam away. The zoom feature on the w960 when lookin back at your pics is also amazing and really highlights just how good the camera/lens is. As well as all that i find texting/calling very easy as you have the standard phone keys. And as for looks, this phone is the slickest looking mobile out on the market today for me, much slimer and cooler than the bulky, ugly N95. Rating:

Reviewed by john on 03/05/2008 with reference to victor frm london reveiwed 960i any phone would break if u dropped it! and if u press buttons too hard what do u expect? had this phone for 6months now and its the best phone ive had!!!! i love its ease of use and brilliant styling. battery life a bit short which is only negative to a wonerful mobile phone. i recommend this phone to music lovers, walkman function is stunning. only giving 4 stars due to battery life issue. Reviewed by Daryn on 29/04/2008 Got this phone last week, and I'm pleased with it. Here goes for a quick review... Build quality is very good, and the phone manages to look shiny without being too much of a fingerprint magnet. Both the touchscreen and the keys are WAY better than the w950i. The flat keypad of the w950i has gone, and the touch screen has been greatly improved. It's now possible to use it fairly easily with your fingers. The touchscreen will only react if pressed and won't go nuts if brushed against. The camera is second to none for it's class. The flash is very bright, and it takes pictures comparable to the N95's camera. The new Walkman player is excellent, the best ever MP3 player of a phone I've used, although it can be laggy if playing music at the same time. Shame of the omission of a 3.5mm headphone jack. Battery life standby is about 3-4 days (Turn the wifi standby off! It KILLS the battery) and 2 days for moderate use. Now, the w960 uses a Symbian OS, which as we know can crash occasionally. The worst crashes occur when unstable software is run, but if the phone is running rock-solid software it is pretty stable. It's not the fastest ever, but that is to be expected with most smartphones. If you want a lightning fast OS then don't buy a smartphone, simple as that! Buy this phone for: An excellent Mp3 player, the best allround Symbian smartphone with touchscreen and wifi, a head-turning phone with second to none build quality. Don't buy this phone if you're looking for simplicity, excellent stability, amazing battery life, or GPS. For a Symbian phone, five stars. Rating:
Reviewed by Dezzer on 26/04/2008 I brought this mobile bout 4 weeks ago and at first is slow cause the stuff on it but after like 2 days its fast as anything the music quality is amazing internet is like your pc easy to snyc with your pc unlike most other SE were you have to wait for it to find the phone it has a camera and more memory than the w950 and has touchscreen that the w890i dose'nt have if on the costly side but the n95 its chunky and the iphone cost £300 and you pay like £400 for itune sand other stuff that it says the mobile has. this is one the best mobiles out Rating:
