i thought that this phone was amazing but it is easyly breakable but it is the best phone ive ever owned the speak is amazing, by the time i filled my phonw with music and picture i had 120 song and loads of pictures, the camera is like a digital camera

i miss this phone, i had it for over two years then it suddenly died on me, i turned it back on and everything was slow and un usable, i havent bought a phone since, my w900i was my pride and joy, i still have it on my desk in front of me, im seriously considering buying a new one, but the only problem with it is the headphone socket (also used for charging and data transfer) would pop out randomly, it wasnt a secure fit, but one hell of a phone, worth every penny, i still havent found a replacement.

i had this phone for 2 years. i didnt want to upgrade, the only problem is the headphone jack, it pops out the headphones, not very good when walking and listning to music. i tried to buy other headphone bases and took apart the w900 and fitted them and it worked!! so now my headphones stay in! i love'd this phone so much, memorys of the last 2 years flood back at me when i look at pictures of this phone on the internet. but one day it broke, it had had its time. and i refuse to buy another phone untill i find one i love as much as the w900. THE greatest phone EVER made

THE SONYERICSSON W900I PHONE IS FABULOUS CAMERA IS GRATE MUSIC SYSTEM IS THE BEST, I THINK ITS ONE OF SONYERICSSON BEST PHONE, IF YOU DONT HAVE ONE YET, I THINK YOU SHOULD GET ONE. ITS HEAVY THO, AND THE FM RADIO IS TERRIBLY, OTHE WISE, I LOVE IT.

i found this phone on a bus. and i couldnt hand it in as it has no numbers in or any thing. and i dont trust the bus drivers! i kept it hoping the people would ring the phone and i waited 2 months. and to be honest i am glad they havnt rang as this phone is FANTASTIC!! i use it every day my battery life is fantastic its lasts for 3 days. the memory it billiant. i have over 200 pics and 30 songs atm WITHOUT a memory card. the camara is fantastic i dont use my other camara any more and i use it for music aswell. it is so comfortable to rign people with so i can talk for hours. and the buttons are big enough to text easily and quickly. the video is wickid. this phone is deffo the best phone i have had in a long time. a must get.

my cousin has the w900i and every time i see her, i alway ask to use her phone and it's incredible, it's easy to use, a very smart design and i think i might just get one for myself.

hi, yeah i have this phone and it is a gr8 phone for devices and stuff but the simple fact is it is just soo big. Too much space on it that is not needed. A brilliant phone for people who don't care about the sleekness or look but want it for gadgets though, is really up to date with technology

I have never had the w900i but my friend recenly bought one roughly 3 weeks ago. since then it has broken three times and after it being repaired it will still not work. it looks a very nice phone and has a good size memory but if you are planing to keep your phone for a while its probably not to get the w900i

i have had this phone for about 18 months now and it hasnt let me down yet, still great battary life, good memory and great quality pictures!! and the best part is you can do tricks and show off when opening it!! haha ^_^ by far my fave phone so far! i think all they need 2 do now is make it a 5mp cam and add a flash aswell as the torch!

da w900i is wicked. It is well better than any other sony ericswson phone as it nhas nloads of memory to put on as many songs as you like. it has a mint design. probably the best swivel phone ever. the camera is good as it is 2 mega pixel and 8x zoom. but the phone is well heavy n thick but overall it is mint

i'm using a S700i and W700c phones and as far as i know, W900i series is a very nice compact PHONE+MP3 PLAYER.. also the dual camera for 3G is very nice.. im planing to buy the W900i in china.. outstanding phone.. nokia has it's rival now..

I Purchased my w900i second hand because i wanted a decent MP3 player to replace my ipod whilst training in the gym (sick of keeping it chareged up). The W900i is fantastic as a MP3 player and indeed as a phone. It's menus are very quick to respond and it's also the easiest phone i have ever used to write texts on. I could go on how much i like this phone and as i got my first ever mobile in 1989 i can say i have had a few in my time but this is definitely the best so far. One slight problem though i must say is it's a little clumpy but thats only a problem if you have small pockets :-)

I love this phone - and have never wanted to change it since I got it. Excellent sound quality - really easy to transfer music onto! I still have no problems with it and love the design and quality. The only new phone that tempts me is the sony ericsson w580i that appears to have all the same features - i hope it is a brill as the w900i. :)

Just got this phone as a present for my birthday and I love it. It's great. Everything I need and want and more. Keep on finding new things about it here and there :P. Overall it's a great phone and probably the best one i've ever had. :) Overall 10/10

The best mobile i had compared to my previous. The picture output of the video & camera, the built-in memory capacity, and its 3G & Walkman features. There is nothing more I need, it has all the features i wanted in a mobile.

I have this mobile and everything you want is there. You get everything you ask for.
Its a great phone and surprisingly the battery lasts a long time too.
The only down side is the fiddling about with the headphones for the MP3. Some people say the size but you get used to it and for what it does the size is no problem!

I was going to get the w850i when my dad found a great deal on the w900. I thought about it long and hard,at the time i apsolutely loved slides and thats one of the reasons i wanted to get the W850i and so i had a decision that i would get the 900 because it had better features and i would have a great time using it. i havn't got mine yet but i know ill get it soon!!! yey!!! ;p p.s. i thought if i shuld get the pink oe or not and i thought,why not? and i only choose phones which actually suite the colour pink, so it's between white or pink, which-ever??? :D

i used to have this phone .. it was stolen :( .. it is an amazing phone even though it came out a long time ago .. and its camera has auto focus .. every angle of this baby is ace .. i would recomend this phone :) i mean come on sony is the best in all that kind of digital stuff like cameras sony rules in that by far .. music no question plus the phones are sexy so id take sony anyday :D

All of you guys are missing out!!! This phone can handle to 4G memory Stick pro duo. Its freakin AWESOME because I never thought that this would actually work. Now my phone has a Whoppin 2 Billion bytes of external memory. This is a very important information and I hope all yaw would enjoy this phone like I do. It's THE ULTIMATE PHONE. Just been wondering why Sony Ericsson never announced this information though!!

Okay.., bad points first-from a tester perspective. [1] If you try to create a Playlist and listen to music at the same it will TOTALLY crash the firmware when the playlist is being saved between track changes. What I mean by this is; whilst listening to music I was saving a playlist, whilst saving the playlist the tracks on my current playlist were changing and the firmware could not multitask and crashed my fone making it worthless - had to send it back to SonyEricsson. [2] if you update the firmware you WILL run the risk of screwing up the current firmware on your - as warned by the update service prior to updating the firmware. I updated and apart from the navigation of the menu being slower, video files are not recognised and the fones stalls bewteen menu options/selections. If you select 2 or more menu options BEFORE it can finish the 1st - IT WILL CRASH THE FIRMWARE. Those aside, this is a W I K K E D fone and the best fone I have owned to date. The sound quality is what you would expect from Sony, the camera quality is more than satisfactory for MOST pictures unless your thinking of submitting to some hi-qualaity magazine for world distribution. So itz chunky.., SO WHAT..!? If anyone out there has another fone that has 470MB internal memory, can accept a 2GB card, allow you to customise with differing themes, screensavers and ringtones, MMS, VideoCalls, E-Mail...., etc..., ad anon, then don't moan about the failings of this fone as you so obvioulsy have a better fone.

5 stars doesn't do justice to this phone. I've had this phone on contract for about 4 months and it works like a dream. A big jump from Motorola V3x. Just noticed the reviews made by guys who hates sony ericsson. They're sort of people who go on posting unfair reviews about great phones. The camera with autofocus is just great. I'm waiting for the next model W850i. W900i rocks!!!

i find this phone very interesting if you talk about pix, videos and music. there's clarity on all of those aspects. i compared this with some cellphones we got here and so far this ericsson's w900i displayed great performance. you just have to charge it if it will be in continuous usage but that's ok. the only draw back is the contact where you cannot edit the data you input unlike in nokia phones but who cares. all those little drawbacks will be erased once you listened to all the music you'd download. so for me its still the best well.. i still got to see motorola v3x or its dolce n gabana edition. im awaiting for the w710i to be released. if it beats w900i i wont mind having 2 phones hehehehe..

A great phone, fantastic video recording (although on a larger screen the picture gets a bit blocky) nice and smooth, no jerkyness at all. The camera is excelent also, taking good quality pics even in near darkness as the flash works very well.
The music player is good and the sound quality from the supplied headphones was suprisingly good, however the pre-installed ringtones etc cannot be deleted and when you want to play all music stored on the phone, these are also played, very annoying.
On the downside, yes battery life is short but if you remeber to plug it in every night there isn't a problem. One point that is a real problem is the phone book, it wont allow you to have more than 5 no's for one person, and even then it dictates what they are, ie, moble, fax, home,pager etc,
my 7610 allowed you to custom edit the menu tags, something i feel this phone should have also had. Saving texts is also a problem as you are not
given the option of where to save them as they go onto the sim card and that does not hold to many.
On the whole when you consider you are carrying around a 2MP camera with
flash and a 30fps video camera, mp3 player and oh yes a PHONE TOO!!, its a
good bit of kit (bit heavy and a little bit large) but thats the price you pay for something this good at the moment. Give it a couple of years and who knows what we'll have.
One last point, ive had mine 3 weeks and the damn thing locked up and has to go back
to vodaphone.......Great!!!! Hope the new one is ok....

fantastic all round phone, great camera, mp3/ video player. Only complaint I have with the phone is the battery life is pretty poor. After a day of average use the phone may be down to 1 or 2 bars! Last phone I had was a 7610 - that battery lasted for at least 2 days.
