Reviewed by Nick Batley on 26-01-2008 Very very good phone. Got used to the keypad quite quickly, decent camera, very good music capabilities. Only problem is it cuts out half the time, with a white screen and then goes back to normal Rating:
Reviewed by Naomi on 17/01/2008 I absolutely hate this phone! After having the W800i for two years, I thought it was about time for a change. I loved the W800i, so I decided to stick with Sony Ericsson. What a mistake! I had to send the first phone I had back, as the 4 and 6 keys stuck, the second model I now have also has the same problem, as well as intermittent crackling whilest talking on the phone. The battery life is appauling, the W800i would only need chanrging 1-2 times per week, the W600i I have to charge almost daily! The keys (when they work) are fiddly. The camera is absolutely terrible, especially compared to the W800i and the video? Forget it! Oh and to top it all off, the phone is slower than a Granny with a zimmer... stay away from this phone, Thw W800i was WAY better! Rating:

Reviewed by IMY on 10/01/2008 I bought the phone looking at the reviews on this site had a k750i which i still have an the k750i picture an video quality is a million times better i put the w610i an k750i next to each other taking the pic in bad light conditions an i can say the k750i lets in more light so u can see better on the phone screen. Iam very disappointed with the w610i why cannot sony make a phone that has walkman quality an good camera an video well i dnt rate the walkman quality anyway just a rip off sony just make a phone with good sound quality walkman if need to be an good camera. Keep anyway from this phone im still using my k750i dnt buy this phone. Rating:
Reviewed by Rawr on 05/01/2008 i brought this phone in "white" but it's really an ugly silver colour. NUMBER FOUR WONT PRESS WHEN I TEXT, IM NOT THE ONLY PERSON THIS HAPPENED TOO! i couldnt find TrackID on it, the cameras bad when it's not in daylight. only a average phone, no way worth £100, not much better than the w810i , which you can buy for 60 now. Reviewed by James on 27/12/2007 Had this phone since May and have to say I have no complaints at all about it. The cam is what you expect from a 2MP camera, it does the job. The music player is good and the earphones are of a high standard. Menu's are very user-friendly and buttons are fast and responsive. The only complaint I have ( and this is nit picking) is the back case can sometimes creak, but who cares... Rating:

Reviewed by a poult on 11/11/2007 Good value for your money, better than k750i and w810i for sound quality when playing music. Bad points: had to use loud speaker to hear people when they call so faulty from day one.(Not all like this so just a one off) Buttons are too fiddly when texting, if you have got fat pegs then this will be a big prob for you ! And for those who keep saying it has no radio... IT DOES ! Rating:

Reviewed by Holly Milward on 05/09/2007 It is a good phone, however the camera zoom didn't work the message on the screen reads 'zoom not possible in this mode'. So I exchanged the phone for another w610i and am having the same problem. Any ideas how to solve it?? Rating:
Reviewed by bethan on 03/09/2007 I love this phone. Reviewed by mikeymustard on 25/07/2007 this is my 2nd SE phone - had the W800 before and have owned it for about a month now. I'm not particularly into looks (I had the W800 after all lol)but everytime I look at this I can't believe how good looking it is and in a time when noone really bothers what phone others own I'm always getting compliments on it. My biggest gripe with the W800 was its troublesome joystick, so I was very glad SE have finally got rid of their achilles heel. Sound is far better on this than my w800 with no overly bright treble and very clear. It has a stereo widening function but I prefer the standard and haven't felt the need to mess with the equaliser. It is also stereo bluetooth capable and has a bluetooth accessory dongle to enable playing through any sound system with an Aux socket. I've no idea how useful this would be but everyone seems suitably impressed by it! The 2mp camera is very good, boasting autofocus and flash, it isn't covered (the cover on my W800 broke quite quickly - moving parts on a mobile are not recommended) and the lens glass is flush with the back of the phone, it remains to be seen whether this makes it more prone to scratching, but the recessed lens on my W800 was a dust/gribble magnet. The phone does have a couple of downsides: firstly I find the buttons a little small (had to cut my thumbnails to operate it) and secondly, it only comes with a 512mb memory card and my old card isn't compatible because sony have made it a smaller format. That said, i love this phone it's just complicated enough to be liked by gadget freaks but easy enough to operate the most-used functions Rating:
