DO NOT LISTEN TO ALL THE BABIES who cry about this phone. I had mine for the best part of 14 months and nothing went wrong with it, despite the fact I dropped it bare times AND it fell in a pond. I've recently switched to a samsung soul and regret it. Baddest phone on sesame street!!

I've had this phone for about 5 moths and its the best phone i've ever had! I wanted a phone with a decent screen, like not fuzzy nd clear, nd i got it! its such a good phone compared to the last one i had which was a nokia. The only bad thing is that the memory thing goes back to the defalt sometimes and you have to shake it about. But apart from that i loveee this phone!!!!

I love this phone, its really good for people that love music, iv had it for a week and txt really fast but none of the buttons have fallen of and the screen is fine so peoples buttons that are cracked arn't lookig after it!

ive had this phone since last decemeber and 6 of my keys have cracked and the back is coming off, i have dropped it a few times and compared to my old phone it chips very very easily. i also often get the problem when photos or messages go to the middle or wrong end of the folder and my friend who has the same phone has the same problems. this phone would be such an amazing phone if only the problem of the keys was fixed. my friend also sent her phone off to get the keys fixed but as soon as she got it back they just cracked again. if you can deal with the problem of keys with cracks in the middle this phone is amazing. if not. i recommend you avoid it.

I've had this phone for a day and mangaed to block the memory card. But all in all its pretty awesome. The features are amazing and yes the camera is only 2 mega pixels but its clear and the video lasts forever. I recomend it.

I got this phone as a gift for christmas, and all ive had is trouble with it!! The buttons on the keypad all split in half, the main navigation buttons fell off, wont recive messages !! ect. I would NOT recommend this fone to anyone, Ive only had mine 8months and its been away for repair 9times!, and now its broke again!, so exchanging it for the k810i ! BEWARE .. Do NOT buy the w580i

It's a good phone with good features, however it doesn't matter how careful you are the buttons do crack. Only had mine for about 6 months now and half of the number buttons have cracked and two at the top as well. Camera is good enough, can hold lots of pictures and music...messaging is easy and overall the phone looks good and is very slim-line. Would i recommend it? Probably not because the buttons aren't sturdy enough. If that doesn't bother you, go for it though!

Oh my gos this pone is awful. I have had it for about 9 months now and it is beyond usable now..keys dont respond..all buttons cracked...definately not fit for the purpose of a mobile phone. Shoddy.

I loved the look of this phone when my friend first shew it to me, and after my birthday i went and spent my birthday money and brought it in white for myself. After about 2 weeks my memory card went wrong and i took it back to vodafone who swapped the card. After another couple of weeks i went to listen to my music through the headphones that came with the phone only to find out tht they were broken nd that they were missing a pin. I took it to vodafone who told me that the headphones were not part of the phone, so i contacted sony ericson who replaced them with a new pair. After about a month 2 of the buttons cracked and the phone kept freezing, i sent the phone back nd was without one for 2 weeks while sony ericcson replaced the keypad, only for 3 more buttons to break, so i sent it back and was without a phone for another couple of weeks. After repacing every key on the phone, my phone was ok for about 2months, but now my ok, back button and top arrow button wil l not work so i have to turn my phone of the get of the menu!! This phone is nothing but a waste of money!

This Phone is the best phone ever, I absolutley loveee it . . the unique lighting effect and design are beautifull it is the most precious phone i ever bought. the buttons dont crack i had my phone for 1 month now and i text alot and my buttons havent kracked off [just take care of it and you will be fine] it also comes in great colors . 'The Perfect Music Kit' For music lovers. i had no problems with it what so ever its great , nice camera by the way but 1 disadvantage is the 'Flash' But just turn on the daylight balace and it will work perfect. i say put this on your wishlist. 5/5

I have had this phone for 3 months and mine has not broke and works perfectly. However i had to send my 1st one back as i droped it and the screen would not work. But i would recomend this phone to anyone. It is easy to text, ring and surf. The camera is much better than the 6230 that i have just upgraded from and even though i liked the 6230 this phone is just fab. Oh and dont worry because all the phones that the buttons cracked on have been recalled.

I've had this phone for about.. let's see. Nearly six months now. At first, when I got it for my birthday in March, I was extremely pleased with it, as it was a big step up from my old phone, and it was very slim, had a big screen, and had funky lights. :P All in all, it was a fab phone. Unfortunately though, a month ago the top-left button (the one mostly used for 'confirm') stopped working, but I just used the middle button instead. Then, about a week ago when I was on holiday in Germany I found that the '1' key had a crack down the middle and the 'back' and 'up' key stopped working as well. So basically now all I use for my phone is music. I have to admit though, I have dropped the phone a few times (but the screen has hardly any scratches!) and so the phone had started to lag a bit, for example when I slide it up it will take a little bit longer for the screen to appear. Overall, it's a pretty good phone, with good looks and good for impressing friends. ;) Doesn't really last long though. So if you're looking for a phone to keep for a year or two, I don't really recommend this, unless you don't mind a few buttons not working.

This is the worst phone i have ever had. I would not recommened this phone to anyone. I had this phone since march this year and it kept breaking. I sent it off to get repaired about 5 times but it kept breaking so i just got a samsung soul. DO NOT GET THIS PHONE.

First phone from sony and after 2 months I was surprised how much of the poor quality, effort and engineering put to the w580i. I have a Sony 50 inch plasma and that has been perfect. 4 problems I experienced through out the 2 months. 1)The keys start cracking. 2) The navigations key stop working. 3) The phone freezes half way. 4) The The screen goes blank for no reason. Also I'm 100% sure I had nothing to do with all these problems. So I return this to the o2 shop but they go these problems have nothing to do with us. So its clear to me this is the 1st and the last SE phone Im getting regardless of what how good they would be In the future. So I wish them badluck all the way!

This phone is okkkkkkkk!!! Just Okkkk 1 of my important buttons stopped working so i had to get it fixed and i was stuck with the most simplest phone ever!!!!!!! Its very slow and the 123 buttonsare nearly breaking!!!!!!

This is the worst phone that is available in the market. Yeah sure it has loud speakers and good features. The problem is that the key pad can't last more than 1 month. I GUARANTEE you at least one key, soft or number, will break or crack on you. The worst part? When I called the Sony Ericsson Customer Centre, they told me that you can't even get an exchange, only constant repairs they do on you to charge you after your warranty expires. Conclusion: they make you think its a good phone but it won't last for more than a year... GUARANTEED

Brought this phone for my teen daughter. She loves it. The only problem with the W580i is that the keypad is too fragile. I think it is a design flaw. Every two months, I have to send the phone back to the service center to get the keypad changed. I have done this 3 times already. The warranty period is for 1 year. The service center has advised me to get extended warranty for another year, which will cost me an additional US$21 (seems very reasonable). Since my daughter loves this phone so much, that could be the option for me. Now, I made some new friends at the service center and we meet once every two months.

Every single one of my buttons has cracked in 2 months of having it. My middle button has fallen out. The to buttons on the side have come out. The walkman button is wobbly. I barley ever use my phone and the buttons have no reason to be split already. My screen is buggered up. The camera is shocking. With no zoom or flash. All my old walkman phones have been so much better. When i slide my phone up you can here something cracking. It takes it ages to turn on. Its VERY stiff to slide up and jams if you dont push it hard enough. :D DONT BUY THIS PHONE! DONT BUY THIS PHONE ! DONT BUY IT! It dosent last a minute my (3) button cracked within 4 days. Then the rest followed. Your wasting your money and i would NEVER EVER advise anyone to get it. I wouldnt even give it a one star if it was possible. My friends have all got this (or had it and got rid of it within weeks) because of the same problems and worse. Some of there screens went complete black. Or there phone snapped whalst pushing it up. Dont buy it....The only good thing is.. Im getting rid of it next week :D x

So I have had this phone for about 10 months... like most people who own it, the keys cracked. But the past month has really been the kicker... at first it started to turn off on its own. then the screen went out. Now it's off and wont turn back on again...tried cjarging it but its like its not recognizing the battery... HATE THIS PHONE!

DO NOT buy this phone.my oh and i bought 1 for one another at xmas,he had 12 replacements in 3 months b4 the carphone warehouse would let him swap for another model,cuz the buttons kept cracking.i had 5 replacements in 5 months for the same reason,then orange refused to swap it again and SE completely ignored my emails! I got very annoyed in the end and rang off a payphone which cost 17pounds,they said i could send it for repair which could take 28 days,as a mum of 2 young babys,on my own 6 days a wk whilst my partner works and no landline,i really couldnt do without my phone as they wouldnt off me a replacement untill mine was fixed.i have had my current one since may,every single button is cracked there is about 20 black lines at the top of my screen,taking up around half aninch.it turns off and freezes up when it feels like it,and the buttons dont like to work! I tried to send a very important text the other day,as had nocredit to call and only 4,5,6 would work! I came here to read reviews on other SE phones as getting a new one tues and usually love SE but i think ill change makers this time

Arrghhh this phone has single-handedly driven me to distraction!! In theory it should be excellent- great features such as the step counter and walkman but sadly it fails to deliver on simple features such as battery life and most annoyingly BUTTONS! I was annoyed enough when they started cracking after about 3 weeks, but now the essential buttons (most importantly the up arrow and back keys) have packed in after 7 months. Do NOT buy this phone if you value your sanity.

I have had this phone for only a month, i have had to send it back and have had 3 replacements already, the latest replacement doesnt even work as there is some kind of loose connection and it just keeps saying put in sim even tho it is in !!! keys cracked within a week on first two phones. DONT BUY IT !!!!!

i only had ma phone 4 like a cuple o weeks n the screen keeps on turnin different colours and goin funny and kept making loads of weerd patterns so i sent it to the repair shop and they said they fixed it but they didnt and it came back with my 7 button chopped in half so i asked all my mates who had got 1 n they said that theres does the same so i wouldnt buy this phone if i was you

for a start my keys have cracked secondly there is a fault when i go on the camera it says it cant work because another aplication is running even though there isnt and u cant fix it.then it works again then stops again yeah i know u can send it away but then u got no mobile phone and auntie has had the same problem. finaly i was at power leauge put my phone down played a game of footy picked it up the screen was black i could play music but there was no screen.i went to mackdonalds and it worked again went off again and then come back on again and hasnt gone since.it hasnt got smashed by a football because i left it inside with the manadger behind his desk. This Is A Really Good Phone! The Walkman Sounds Really Good And The Memory Is Brilliant! The Battery life is okay but it could be better. My only read problem is the buttons. I had the phone for about 2 months and 3 of my buttons started to crack! And now 7 months on.. 7 of my buttons have cracked! It just makes the phone look really cheap & old. Other than that...good phone!

i am truley dissapointed with this phone within the first two weeks of buying the phone the buttons cracked. this phone is extremly fragile and Cannot be dropped when i droped mine evrything broke and they screen had a huge balck spot where the time and menu buttons are this makes the phone extremly hard to use. i would bever consider even buying this phone again i've only had it for four months and thank god i bought the warenty or i would be screwed.

Okay, the walkman 510 interactive, is the father to the w910i this one has no 3G, but a neon light, which you can change the colour off! it's got a good sound quality, but however, the keys are close together, easy to get used to, and very easy to brake, take care of it, and it will give you gd service

I've had the fone since xmas and everything was working fine , but since the last few months it has got every button cracked, the case has cracked, the bit above the battery with the walman badge has fell off, then the screen started 2 flash black and white and when i went into my pocket the other day the screen had fell out. has this happened to anyone else? and would the guarentee cover all this because none of this is my fault?

I bought my daughter the W580i for her birthday last december. It's been back to SE to have the "cracked" keypad replaced, and today the screen died completely. The navigation key is also sticking. It's going back to SE in the morning, and if it croaks again I'm demanding my money back. Don't buy this phone unless you enjoy grief.

I got a W580i for my birthday in April, and I loved it! =] Yes, 3 of the keys cracked, and I would say that was my fault for texting using my nails, but a lot of people seem to have that problem. But you can still use the buttons even when they're cracked. It isn't very strong, so try not to drop it...Learned that from experience. Unfortunatley for me, I got it stole when I was on Holiday in England (Yorkshire). Got another one on eBay then, and so far, I haven't had any problems. =] I love it, but I know a few people who have it, and they've had problems with theirs. I think it's just the luck of the draw, to be honest. Love it. =]

I got this phone 8 months ago and havw had no major problems with it. The camera is not excellent but then the phone is a walkman so it was not made for the camera. The speakers are good but if played too loud it can be quite a racket so it is best used with headphones. None of the keys have cracked or had any problems and i have a 2GB Memory stick so i have 230 songs on it with room for more. All in all a pretty good phone.

I have had the phone for 8 months...not the best 8 months I have to say. The phone was off for 5 weeks and when it was turned on again within two days it had to be repaired...The phone has had 5 repairs since being bought, I do have to say that the music cannot be complained about. It has a wiked music player. =|

Well I Have Sony Ericsson In Grey/Blue Its An Outstanding Colour And Design Plus The Lighting Effect Is Just Very Unique and Brilliant. About The Buttons Falling Off Thats Not True? I had mine for 3 days before I sent it back which was how long it took for the battery to run out after an overnight charge! Couldn't get the memory card out without almost breaking the phone - I had to take it into store. Very flimsy. Avoid.

i love my w580i and its my second one. i only dislike two or three things about this phone. The first is that the first phone of this model that i had wound up getting returned, as it shut off and never turned back on, which i hear is a frequent problem. Also my keyboard keys cracked, but thats probaly because im a heavy texter. The final problem is that the music player screen is constantly popping up, even if the phone is at rest with nobody withing 20 feet of it.

after only a month the keys had cracked, i finally took it back to the shop when the back fell off. Got the phone back and 2 days later the keys completely stopped working, and the bluetooth was being funny [i could send people stuff but could not receive]i got it back and they had repaired the keys but not the bluetooth. the voice recorder also stopped working the week i purchased it. not pleased, so as it is now the third time of repair i should be getting a new phone.

The day the phone was out of the box, the Bluetooth didn't work and it was sent in. 3 months later, the top left button failed, I managed to use the middle key to bypass. Now 8 mths after I have it, 3 more buttons died. Geez. Same happened to a colleague. What's it with Sony Ericsson!!!!!!!!!

Its A Great Phone Good Camera And Great Features But My Screen Has Gone Blank ? Just Gone Black Cant See A Thing I Mean I Think Its Cause It Was In My Back Poket When i Sleped But I Dunno How That Would Break It ? Oh And My Buttons Didnt Crack Yet Cause i Only Use One Finger To Text Good Phone But Easily Broken Id Say If Your Buying It Look After It VERY Well And Only Text With One Finger !

Im only 16 and was looking for a gd phone that had all the extras with it. It got this for christmas and now find 8 months down the line the speakers have totally gone wrong. I had the phone for 6 months and the speakers went really crispy sounding. Then it got worst and the sound disapeared and you could only hear if you were in a quite area and it was against ur ear. HOWEVER it works beautifully with its headphones. I wouldn't reckonment this handset to any friends unless they were extra careful with there fones. However the handset I have got has not yet got cracked or broken buttons. the only gd thing about the phone is that you can apply more mermory to the phone with a M2 card. Also the camera is ok and the video recording I also like the track ID. This phone isn't for anyone looking for a music player or a phone that breaks easily with too much love!!

i read many reviews of this phone, most bad, about the keys cracking but i went along to the tmobile store and they assured me the problem had been fixed, so i bought it. however about 1 month later 2 of the keys cracked, so i took it back and had it replaced. another 2 months later the same 2 keys cracked, and the phone started to reset itself. do not buy this phone. it is a complete waste of money, and the battery life is awful.

I havent had this phone long, and already the bottoms have started to break! one of them has stopped working. But everything else on the phone is good, like the radio and bluetooth. I wouldnt say i wished i had never got one because the phone is okay, except for the breaking bottoms.I wouldnt say it was worth as much as i paid for it though.

Got this phone on contract sept 2007 , had absolutely no problems with it ,changed to a Samsung ,had that for 3 weeks and changed back to my sony ericsson w580i!! I love it!!

Its a great phone, nice bright screen and the lights just look great! I got it in Black from the Carphone Warehouse for �69.99 inc �10 credit! great deal! Also the FM radio is DAB and is AMAZINGLY clear :D

I absolutley LOVE this phone its great i love how its helped me with doing excercise and im actually enjoyen it i love the music setting and howw you shake to change song i love how loud to music is so when the phone rings i actually hear it ive only had the phone 2 days and i have 212 pictures and 54 songs and its still got loads of memorie left i love how its in pink really good deal for only 100 pounds'

i love this phone i think it is very good i love about it : you put your own music on it, and can shake to change track (only thing is u have to have the music on your documents you can't put them on straight from itunes) it has cool games it looks really good has lighting charges fast has good apps and games has fab photo/video editing things step count calorie counter bad points : keys sometimes pop out of place but only when ive been using them for too long playing games camera on normal mode doesn't have zoom only on video camera doesn't have a flash you have to set up stuff for picture messages and mine doesn't work i think this is only as i am playing games 24/7, the battery doesn't last very long. i charged it on friday morning it needed charging again by sunday afternoon so if your looking for a phone specifically for battery life don't choose this one apart from that it is soooooo good and is good for sport training etc. oh and lighting effects are good love me xxxxx

I have had this phone for nearly a month now and so far i am really impressed with it some people are saying how bad it is and complaining about keys cracking but i think thats to people being to rough with it i sent hundreds of texts a month and have had on problem so far but i suppose i will have to wait and see. it is pretty easy to use and you can get osme great thenes for it. i definetaly recommend it

after 2 weeks of buying this phone all my keys had spilt in half and the slide broke. i took it back and got a new one as it was a fault 3 weeks after having this new phone i noticed a small crack in the corner which has now developed to a full blown black crack over the whole of my screen if ur clever and dont want to waste ur money do not buy this phone!!!!!!!!!!

I would definitely stay away from this phone. I had the choice of the K800i or the W580i and I would definitely choose the K800i. I even has a better camera with flash. Anyway, I have had this phone since October (9 months) and I have only been able to use it for 6 of those months in total. That's because around every 3 months it decides to break. The first time the slider randomly stopped working, I had no access to the top row of phone keys, and the top half was at a 45 degree angle to the main body of the phone. So I had to send it in to Sony Ericsson (because Carphone Warehouse's 1 month limited warranty SUCKS) for repairs. They took 1 month. 1 whole months of coping with a really rubbish Motorola L6. (shudder) The second time, I was listening to music, and the speaker randomly stopped working. I didn't know when I was getting an incoming call, I couldn't even hear battery low sounds. Once again, a month of Motorola L6. The third time (2 weeks ago), I had recorded some video of the last day of school to put on my YouTube account. So I plugged it in my computer to upload them, I pressed File Transfer mode, and the phone DIED! It wouldn't do anything apart from show the really pretty (but ultimately useless) side lights. I decided to unplug it and try rebooting it. All I got was the flashing red light from under the "c" key. That means the phone committed suicide. Once again, I am coping with the rubbish L6 by Motorola. Buy it now if you enjoy limited storage space, rubbish speakers and a unusable camera! But that's for another review. Both the phones I have are AWFUL. I think I want a Nokia phone again...

Ohh Mii Daii's This Phne Is Rubbish !!! Its The Worst Phone Ive Ever Had !!! Iv Had Three Alredy,, The Keys Break,, And The Phone Just Goes Blank. I Wouldent Reccomend This Phone To AnyOne Espeshially Iv You Drop Or Scratch Your Phne Alot. On The Plus Side Its Got A Good Bass And Compy HeadPhones. i know 8 people with the same phone and all of ours have broken within two weeks. this is not due to negligience as we have all had the same problem. i think the battery is weak or the screen is faulty. either way dont bother. only plus is its slim , cheap and good music.

I brought this phone last friday and it is the best phone i have had for a long time, i like the shake when you want to change the songs, i think its really cool the way it lights up with the different effects, the camera is good as well. i would recommend this phone to people go out and get it!! i got the GREY one

To Be Honest , i think that it is a great phone and if you be carful with the key they dont break so like all thoose people that moan about them breaking they dont i would reccomend it. I really like this Phone it looks great. The shake control is brilliant. I think the camera is acutally good. The earphones are great they stay in your ears well. I really really really really really really really really like it you should get it if you want the best phone that looks great too. Really good phone from sony ericsson. x

Theres so many things wrong with this phone, its the worst phone ever. I mean the Nokia (brick) phone from ages ago didn't even have colour and that was better than this, it never went blank or the keys didn't crack. I got the phone for christmas and within 5 weeks my number 2 key had already cracked, so had to get it repaired. Then in March my phone kept saying insert memory card and another key cracked. Then in May the LCD in my screen went that cost me �19.95 and now the screens going again but this time it just goes blank but the light in my keys still show but i can't see anything. I really do regret getting this phone because its the worst phone i've ever had and in the time I've had it, its probably been away getting repaired more than I've had it. I love Sony Ericsson phones but this phone is very disappointing. I'd say don't get it to anyone in the right mind who's actually thinking about getting it. Please recommend a really good phone because I need a new one. But Sony Ericsson won't let me have one will they.

HATE IT!!!! my phone has been sent away 3 times i would never recommend this to anyone it's totally rubbish i hate it, hate it, hate it!!!! the buttons carack , it freezes all the time and has a mind of its own! no-one should buy this phone it only disappoints. the only good thing is that with a memory card it holds quite a few songs but evrything else is terrible!!!!!!

Bought this phone in December 2007. Having read through the reviews there are three major errors with this phone, one irritation and one thing that seems to work with everyone else and not for me. One of my keys has cracked, the screen froze so I had to take it back to be repaired and now its saying the memory card won't work, it keeps saying there isnt one in there. My irritation is that there is no flash and also my shake control doesnt work. So it looks like I am going to have to take it back! AGAIN!

BUT THE MANUFACTURING IS AWFUL I KNOW 5 OF MY FRIENDS HAVE THE PHONE AND HAVE AHD THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH BUTTONS CRACKING AND BREAKING! I've had this phone since Christmas and i have had it repaired 4 times. The buttons kept cracking through no fault of my own and now, no matter how hard i push, i cannot slide the phone open. It may appear to be a good phone, it has good features and a good camera, but overall I think that you should avoid this phone at all costs. I'm replacing it with the N73.

Ive had the phone for a couple of days, i dont understand people moaning about the keys cracking because i dont see that happening. In my opinion the fone is great. Just a few minor details. 1) There should be a setting where you can turn the lights off all together to save battery life. 2) I Know i said the buttons dont crack for me yet, but i am finding it harder to text. The buttons should be more firm. All in all good phone, just sony need to work on it alittle. Peace.

My Phone and most of friends who got this phone has all done the same thing , the keys have cracked and it goes fuzzy after 5 secounds not being able to take a pictures witht eh screen doubling or going lots of different mixed up colours i have to turn my phone on about 5 times just for it to do this. other wise i have to find everythink with a blank screen and this isnt helpful when you want to text or look at a picture :/ it was great the first two mounths but i had to go and get it fixed becuase it wouldnt turn on no matter what and its being fixed again right now as the lights have frooze and im sick of it going fuzzy and trying to work things in the dark My advice DONT GET THIS PHONE (unless u dont mind wasting your money)

I had the w580i brought for me as an 18th birthday present unaware of the problems that were ahead. I have had nothing but HASSLE with this phone!!! Firstly my keys started to crack then the microphone was loose and then the lights decided to play up. we sent the phone back to Sony ericsson loads of times but they didnt seem to fix the problem. everytime my phone came back it was still broken. they dont even replace faulty phones with brand new ones. they keep trying to give me a refurbished phone but last time they did that that phone was faulty to. my advice never buy a phone from sony ericsson or orange. neither of the companies care about their customers. The staff at both orange and sony ericsson are also very rude. why should they be rude to us when we are within our rights to want a new phone?! we have wasted a lot of money on this phone and are not impressed. i was told by a memebr of staff in orange that this phone was faulty and it had a fault that Sony ericsson were aware of but hadnt bothered to fix. i know many people who have had this phone and have nothing but problems to. it is APALLING!!!

The phones the perfect phone! It's accompanied by shake control and sweet lighting at the sides and the front! I got it in white and it looks stunning, the keys DONT crack unless dropped really hard or forced/tampered.

I have one right and all the backs fell off the on buttons fell off (so now i cant turn it bak on) the battery is shyt so wen it turns off cos ov low batery i cnt turn it bak on i find meself sat bitin at were the button was for about and our before it comes bakk onn the internet doesnt work even if they say its all sorted n al but i proper love listenin too tunes on ti and wiv da speekers its mint tha memory has like up to 200 songs or smat i have 93 on nd its no where neere fuul the cameras good quality too and it has blue tooth

had this phone for about a week and i love it to bits so far. i love being able to count my steps and find out how far ive walked and the shake control for the walkman is awesome. tad annoying having to set up things like picture messages but it is worth it. does seem to run out of battery but may be because i have been using it constantly asit is my first phone, but i will calm down...eventually. the head phones are a bit of a futter and listening to the radio is too cos you have to pllug in the hands free, but i really love it. i would sugest anyone to get it. the camera is annoying as you are only able to zoom in video mode, which is strange and there is no flash, but appart from that very responsive. although the memory card that comes with it is quite samll bigger ones are compatable for small prices. ooo and the lighting on it is incredibly funky. once again i love it and hope it will be good btw peole that have major poblems with battery will be because they don't take care of it and the same with breaking keys, too strong or fingers are too big rebecca

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY THIS PHONE! The phone itself for me has not lasted more then 5 mounths and I have treated it like gold! It is made very poorly, whereas the irriplacable case is coming off, and that all the keys at the front of the phone, plus the camera have ceased to work due to the flimsy, loose connections and design..

the phone is ok its pretty enough, the keys break for everyone give it a month and they will be cracked, you can zoom in on camera mode if you lower the resolution. plus mine has no started saying its sending messages when it isnt which is blocking up my actual messages. i used to work for a branch of carphone warehouse and we had at least two complaints about this phone every single day!

Hey, if anyone is having problems with their phone and the sim not being recognised then you need to push the sim card right in. I know it slides out on its own when you remove the battery, however, you need to push it right in until it clicks. The sim will then be recognised and no more problems with the phone freezing problems will stop. Hope that helped :) I'd like to thank my genius brother Scoot who sussed this out.

have had this phone for a week when the no 2 button cracked took it back an dgot a replacement straight away, was told that it wouldnt happen again. A month later the 2 is crackd again the bit at the bottom comes off. the battery is rubbish barely lasts a day, the phone keeps freezing and stops working, wrecks my hed. i absolutely hate this phone the only thing i like is the stepomoter.... thats cool. Rubbish phone wish i never got it

The phone is absolutly useless its looks and feels good but the phone itself is unreliable, My 1st one broke after a day the phone kept crashing and giving black screens whiule using the phone. 2nd one buttons craked shake stoped working after about a week then the vibration died aswell. then to add insult to injury the phone will ring as if theres a call when there is not one. Trust me these new stylish slide phones from Sony are not reliable look the part but dont act it. i sugest you stick to the traditional non slide versions of sony as they can have a right bashing and still work.

this phone is quite good i must say, however the buttons do crack if u text quite alot and the back and ok buttons dont work after a while aswell as the up button. 7 of my friends have this phone and we all have the same problem. the memory ok and so is the camera. i have had my phone from the beginning of october and have got a new one 2day so i have had my phone for 9months and to be honest that is long enough for me. i would recomend the phone if you do not mind he odd crackd button but if you do then this is not the phone for you, although it does look nice lol

Hello! I work for Orange @ constantly hear problems about this phone from the keys cracking to the phone crashing. Basically...if ur put off my the idea of the keys cracking dnt wry...u can hardly notice it & they function in exactly the same way. As for the crashing problem, all u need to do is download the lasted software version from the sony erricson website -sorted! Dnt let these reviews put u off, I love this phone!

i bought this phone two months ago as i was sick of my LG viewty, i bought it in pink, and its already cracked and its refusing to turn on, im deeply annoyed with it, as i thought it was the perfect phone, it was small light and girlie, DO NOT BUY! im going to exchange it for a new and different phone!
