i quite like this phone but no video recorder i know it can store and play store videos because of the video tutorial on it but i just cant get it to play any other video ive tried all formats 3gp mpeg4 flv avi (etc.)but no it wont play them also i cant charge or connect to my comp properly as the phones port is dodgy and also the screen on front above music buttons doesnt work

my phone just broke on me , & im most unimpressed as i really need it , it kept flashing and now when i try and turn it on - its a blank screen help?

Well reading these comments i got really scared about whats going to happen with my phone!! I know its camera isn't awesome, and that it cant take videos. But that's just cause it's a walkman phone!! Its designed for music not pictures!! Well i honestly love this phone, and am hoping that no problems come with it. Had it for a month now. Internet is quite good too. Cheers!! ^^

This phone is really good (and the colour is lush) i have only had one problem with it, the oucter screen wont light up, or when it does its just a blur, i dunno if it got a lil wet or i closed to down to hard. if n e 1 knows y it is doing it please reply to this or email me topsy91@live.co.uk keep smiling =]

This fone is a pile o rubbish.. it never worked for me. keeps freezing.. brakes really easly. My mate had one and exacly the same thing happned to her. DONT GET THIS PHONE.. Its a waste of time

I totally agree with Rachi. Bought mine last year and it has broken down twice. Switches itself off and loses data. Very disappointing.

i work in a mobile phone retailer and out of all the w380i's we sold(which alot).......nearly 100% came back....worst phone sony ericsson ever made and with the nearly equal return rate of the w580i they really need to get it together. DON'T GO NEAR THIS PHONE!!!!!

The phones rubbish! It keeps breaking I had it replaced with a new one [same make] and this ones just as bad. Thought it had video camera but it obviously doesn't only good thing is the alarm is reliable. Wouldn't get another one again.

i got mine for my birthday 3 months ago. now it refuses to turn on to anything more than a blue screen for no reason at all. i turned it off last night now it wont turn back on even though i have put it on charge etc. i wouldnt mind if certain things didnt work but not the whole thing after 3 months!

Had this phone from my birthday (12/06/08) to last Friday (28/11/08). So five and a half months. I hated this phone. The camera was awful, i couldnt record videos, the signal was poor. All it was really good for was the internet!

Ive had this phone for about 2 mponths and already the outside screen dosnt work and also the speakers have stoped workin completely so it dosnt ring, play music n the alarm dosnt work

I have had two of these phones in quick succession. The first one would not pick up a signal in my house, though other mobiles work. Vodafone changed it for another which was even worse. It has had a software upgrade and the antenna changed, and it still said 'Emergency calls only'. At last Vodafone agreed to exchange it and I have got a Nokia 6300 which seems brilliant. Steer clear!

I got this phone for my birthday and i thought it was really good. But when i realized that i couldnt record videos on it i was really annoyed because it said on the website that you could! My phone is okay apart from last night something weird happened and it deleted all my photos and stuff but the it was all back this morning!! Over all i think it is a ok phone!

ive had my w380i when it first hit the shops and ive had no problems with it wat so ever smart little phone for the price and not having video is dissapointing but how many actually use this function. would recommend

Hi- i had this phone for 1 month and i got it for my birthday this year i thought it was a brittiant phone at first apart from there was no video camra which was quit dissapionting. anyway i was recharging it one noght but when i went to turn it on in the morning the keypadlights turned on but there was just a big fuzz on my screen then went blank, so i took it back to the company and got a refund i have now got a SE s500i which is 10 thimes better...but i do not reccomend the SE W380i :)

I got this phone for less than 3 weeks and it broke on me. The retailer also suggest me to get this phone, which frustrates me!! I just found out after I got this phone that it does not have video recorder which makes this phone have less functions. This phone doesn't last that long. When I had mine sometimes when I flip it open the screen is blank. Overall, not a good phone to get!!!

This phone is rubbish!!! i had it for no longer than 2 weeks and it kept on turnin off and losing signal all the time ... it has no video recorder ... the touch screen walkman at the front of the phone stopped working too ! its the worst phone i have had even tho it looks nice .. i advise anyone NOT to get it !! however the sony ericsson W610i is a v.good phone .. ive had it for a year now and ive had no probs wif it at all !(its cheap)

I have been using this phone for two months now and must say I am not impressed with it. For starters, the keys are very hard to use and difficult to type text messages in a hurry, the battery life is very poor, I keep charging it almost every day. Another concern is that when I receive a call or message or when the alarm goes off, the front cover light doesnt go off and many times I had to switch off the phone to get rid of the light. When I first bought the phone, my colleagues were very impressed with the looks, but I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Angela

it dost not have video recorder and need two be lowder and the lass think it dost not take mp4 but it so well desingned but if i was them i tske it bsck snd redesigned it
