Well first off, the appearance is captivating, I have the midnight black of course. Sound output is low , i must admit but the camera works like a charm. Nice clean pictures, posted some on facebook recently. I love it no matter what anyone says, lovely thin phone that fits just right in your pocket. Sony Ericsson delivers with every phone that I have ever owned. Love that walkman logo though!

i think this phone is really gd it has exellent mp3 player and if u want to get ur little borther or grandson or whoever a phone, then i advise u to get this phone, its reile top noch!! the phone that i dnt adivse to get is the LG shine, the Lg shine cannont handle purssure it cant handle a bump on the floor, i no this cause it happended to me! i took it bk to tesco and complained!! they will never sell a LG phone again, thank you for listening and gd nite :)

its good but unexpected i cant put any themes on it and it is quite chunky camera not very good but OK worth of money for �40 and i like the music player although its not very loud the keys are a bit too little

Hi, i have w302 but i'm really regretting it.I bought it coz of its looks but it has nothing other than its look.Though it is a walkman phone but its sound is pathetic and on speakers its sound is pathetic .You can't use themes on this phone other than the three in the phone itself. It can only store 100 msgs which is way less than one wants.And it can also not be connected with pc via pc suite .So i don't recommend you this phone . don't buy this phone,no phone is better than this phone.

I would tell anyone not to purchase this phone. It so slow youll pull your hair out using the menu. Texting is painfull too and the tiny key pod is unuseable for anyone under 8 yerars of age! Why even put on a video option when it is as bad as this one. Its simple one of the worst phones ive had. i used it for 2 weeks before buying a new one!

Great little budget phone it does what i want it to do make calls texts and internet. only problem is the volume a little low but other than that ive no complaints :)

This is the first phone i got which was in jan 2009. I loved it at first. but all the minor niggles added up so i got the sony ericson c902. this is a good starting off phone

I dont know why this cute new cellphone isnot able to install java files by more than 4M bytes and it is so amazing because I have K510i that is able to do this.

This phone is customizable, fun, simple, has a brill walkman player, decent camera and is overall a very easy to use, fun mobile and i would reccomend it for anyone who has any taste at all. obviously not dazza from ireland.

Poor quality phone. Freezes, poor picture/video quality, slow menus, problems with bluetooth connection, the music player has no specific file manager and is very quiet when you take into account it is an MP3 phone. Overall I would not recommend this phone as an upgrade, but perfectly acceptable for a first mobile.

It's a phone for �50 that doubles up nicely as walkman, it looks smart and doe's everything you NEED a phone to do. if you want an all singing all dancing phone you have to pay top dollar for it. you get what you pay for and for �50 i'm more than chuffed.

ive had this phone for 7 months now and its a bit scratched, but thats not the problem. There seems to be a problem with battery, it keeps just cutting out on me then when the battery gets to 50% it goes flat in 1 day. The keypad is also very small and the volume is pathetic, overall an average phone but its not as good as it looks

this ain't even a sony ericsson mobile prone. its a sagem manufactured handset with a sony ericsson badge!!! this is a fact. sony just put there software onto this sagem its a fake low budget lump. don't waste your money and make the same mistake as i did.

The worst phone I've ever owned, I began to run into trouble with it within 3 months of ownership but T-mobile made it so difficult to return/repair I thought I'd just get along with it - how wrong I was. 18 months in and the phone is now unusable, buttons don't work, software crashes an average of 10 times a day. Avoid at all costs!

Iv got the W302 on orange and the signal is appaulling to be frank. i put my orange sim in a freinds phone and it recieved full signal in the same spot mine said no network. orange refuse to cancel my 18 month contract because there log shows i can receive 12 mins calls a day. this is very well because i receive a bit of signal at work where i am for 9.5 hours a day but when im at home i cant use it. im wondering if i say to orange that i nearly lost my job due to the fact my boss couldnt get through to me all weekend(he always rings me to tell me where ill be working the following week) they might cancel contract or upgrade phone?

I've had this phone for around a year and it still works really well. It's crashed around 4 or 5 time since I got it last Christmas and it's nearly Christmas this year! The camera is good in places with lots of light, (without loads of light it goes a bit weird) The features are pretty good. I got this phone for around �50 and I think it was money well spent. It comes with a memory stick which can hold a decent amount of songs. Overall this phone is really worth the low price.

Wow, for the price, this phones pretty neat. Nice look, nice feel, nice menu etc. Even tho buttons are small you get used to them quickly. Let me get something straight, the phone is LOUD, THE SAME AS OTHER WALKMAN PHONES, and the menus ARENT SLOW and just cause you can't get themes doesn't mean anything, the ones it comes wiv are good. The only problem is the video quality and the camera- a bit blurry and dark overall I reccomend loads!!!

Guys, calm down. So you can't install themes? Big deal. In fact, I think people out there don't really care. And as for outlook, who uses it anymore! The world has moved on! It almost seems like everyone wants to find a way to critisize this phone. I can tell you the design is awesome, the camera is good, but the features are a bit boring- but it's pretty cheap, so what did you expect? The reason things like themes don't work is frankly, because Sony can't be bothered to update it. This is a small shame, but life isint fair, so I say go out there and buy this- for it's price, you won't regret it!!!

Overall good phone, everything that i need is on it. However the sound is very bad, although you could always put headphones in. I don't like the way the inbox is set out either, or the way there's only 3 themes and you can't have any others. The camera's fine, quite good to be honest, however when taking a video the qaulity is not so good. But i am happy with my phone :)

@Dazza you forgot this - no PC sync - my phone explorer does not see phone, -phone does not save entire address book on card, -i did not find out how to install themes in this thing, -the browser sucks, -if you put 700mb of music on it becomes very very slow -it is no good

I had this phone for 2 months, sorry to say but this is one of the worst phones you can get. The camera sucks the music player sounds rubbish, and the bluetooth sucks. Seriously do NOT buy this phone. And it turns off every time you shake it, i have just returned mine.

Got this fone today and i love it!! Its great, mainly needed it for calling and texting as the tocco lite i had was useless. its very light and stylish! great features and the camera itself isn't too bad compared to the video recording which isn't all that but overall a good fone!

I just got this phone about 2 weeks ago, and although the camera, video and music features are good, texting just infuriates me! Its sooo slow. I text really quickly but for some odd reason the phone just takes so long to get the letters in. The menus are really slow aswell. Organising your photos etc into folders takes ages! (obviously depending on how much you have). If I had known this I would never have bought the phone :(

I had this phone for two days now, it is a budget phone so i don't expect to much (which some reviewers seem to do). Radio works fine, camera is rubbish (as in all phone cameras), menu speed is ok. What is somewhat disapointing is the low screen resolution. I don't miss sync - i have my contact and calendar information on the net. Hint: install the opera mini browser!

Bought this phone today! Love it to pieces! Fits right in my pocket and the sound is great when i have the headphones in! No software...but fine becuase can transfer from laptop via bluetooth! Excellent little budget phone from sony ericsson!!

I have had this phone for a number of months now and am yet to experience issues with it. The phone does feel a little plasticy at times but generally I would say its well put together. I find the radio works really well and the bluetooth connectivity is fine with my parrot kit in the car. Camera could be better, but what do you expect on a phone of this price??? Battery life without BT on is brilliant, with BT on it is acceptable (2 days with some texting and calls)

Personally I like it a lot. Sure the volume is low, the menu is a little slow and some of the functions aren't generic throughout the phone but for 80 quid I'm amazed at how good it is. It's VERY light, very slim, very good lookng and so far everyone who's seen me with it falls in love with its looks, as I did. My vote is that for a simple phone S.E. came up with a winner! It's as some have already said, you can't expect top end featues in a lower end phone. For a lower end phone, however, it beats the life out of anything else I've seen, so in its own league it's at the top! J

For a phone under �80, its worth its money - If you want a flashy phone with a great camera and lots of gadgets etc. this is not the phone for you. But it can do more than just text and call. It has a relatively good camera, games, ringtones and stuff and the screen is clear and bright. All-in-all if your looking for a fuss-free phone that is trustworthy but also sleek and modern then this is the phone for youu:)

Hy all, My brother just bought a w302 1 week ago. I think it's not that bad, but according to the features, it's too expensive for a poor features cellphone. About the themes, i think it doesn't use *.thm theme files, may be another kind of themes. A strange thing is that when i downloaded opera mini from site: mini.opera.com ,the extension is not *.jar or *.jad, but something else, but i forgot it's extension. I knew it when i browse the files on the phone using mobyexplorer. Infact mobyexplorer i used was in *.jar. So i think this cellphone has something unusual according to the other SE phones.

This phone is quite good and definetely doesnt rip you off i mean it has some downsides but not all phones are perfect. A month after I bought it it started turning itself off by its own but i got it exchanged and it works.

The phone looks nice, but the camera is really bad and the music player aint that loud and the message memory you can have is rubbish.i get rubbish signal i dont recieve text or people cant call me, its not because of the sim card its just the phone. the nenu is slow its awful. please dont buy it you would seriously regret it.

i got this phone with my birthday money i got, and what a waste! the music isnt very loud at all, battery life wasn't great and it kept freezing. luckly i was able to change it for a much better phone!! however it is light and has an attractive look.

Agree. Big problem is very quiet message alert sound with NO way of adjusting the level. Not worth buying because of this. Shame because it would only need a firmware update to solve. The ring sound is loud enough and adjustable. Get a Nokia instead!

Got phone in February. Had to send it back twice to be repaired. Faulty software. Phone turns off on its own. Very annoying. Wouldn't advise anyone to buy this phone.

it is the one of the worst mobile i have ever seen........it doesnt have the basic facilities that all mobiles had......no pc suite.....no themes......low sound........losing signals in good signal location.........low speed of internet connection........the amount is not satisfied for this mobile..........plzzzzzzzzzzz don buy this mobile and dont waste ur money.......just go for nokia 5310 xpress music.....many times better for thi8s mobile........
