only things i dont like obout the phone is that it hasn't got bluetooth and its got 0.3 mp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But besides that i think it's a phone worth to buy.

good music player is good and mega bass potion is excellent and i have one doubt that upto wht extent the memory card will be replaced internet acessing is nice and i want more games to be installed and bluetooth is not there

This mobile is really amazing considering it's price. At only �30, it has good memory, can hold a lot of songs and pictures. The camera is bad quality but still good for its price and megapixels. I got the pink version and it is stunning, with patterns around the screen, it's really stylish!

Not sure where SE get their estimate of 300 hours standby from. I had a W800i and this phone is certainly lighter and smaller but the battery time is rubbish. Have to recharge after 3 to 4 days and my usage is minimal.

I have 2 of these phones in adition to my w810i which is my main phone. That's because I travel abroad a great deal and it's easier to have the phones with sims already inserted to use. Anyway the w200i's are just brillant for the money (�19.95 + �10 pay as you go). They do virtually everything my more expensive phone does and if I want to take pictures I use a digital camera. Having 3 phones also lets me divide my music up and use one as an mp3 style player while leaving the other ones ready for calls...The w200i is Totally reliable and can't be faulted and amazing value. Becuase it's so convenient I use a calling service from abroad (rebtel) which has already saved the cost of buying the 2 phones many times over. The only negative is the fiddly joystick but I'm getting used to it.

I was probably one of the very first to buy this phone. After more than a year of having used it, this is what I can say about the phone. The Good : Low cost, good music quality (Walkman), bundled with MegaBass earphones and 128MB memory card, USB PC cable and AC charger, decent standby time, FM radio, small and sturdy, quite responsive, keypad is very easy for texting (even blindfolded, if you've used it as much as me!), infrared connectivity, GPRS capable, Java platform, video playback The Bad : No bluetooth, poor camera (but decent enough for being a VGA), small screen, joystick might wear out over time, not too many third party softwares can be installed, can't open even .txt files The Ugly : Proprietary Sony connector on phone is shared by all three - earphones, USB PC cable and AC charger, therefore very prone to connector problems if mishandled even slightly (I've had this issue innumerable times, maybe it's just me!) As you can see, if you just need a good phone for making calls and texting with the bonus of a good MP3 player, an FM radio and a namesake camera, can live without bluetooth, don't need to read any documents on it (unfortunately, I do.), and you're careful with the connector, you've found the right phone for you. Best value for your money. Think smart!

Had dis phone 4 a while now. really reliable and easy 2 use bt it has a really bad camera and nt very good memory. no bluetooth either. i wud recommend dis phone 4 ppl hu dnt want anyfin 2 flashy bt sumfin dat is easy 2 use.

As well as standard mobile phone, I use it for music listening, calender & notebook. The only thing is with a 2gb micro memory card, the music sometimes jams up after a long session of listening. You have to turn it off & on again to correct, which is an irritation. I like the fact the headphones plug neatly into the bottom rather than on the side (like on some of the more recent models) so it fits comfortably into pockets when you are out listening.

I got this phone. It's amazing. I just love it!! It's easy to transfer music from my laptop to the phone, by the USB cable that comes with it, so it don't matter if it don't have bluetooth. It looks very stylish, especially because it's pink!! I got it quite cheap, for �30.00. It's got great MP3 player quality to keep me entertained. It has a VGA camera and video recorder, not very good quality as VGA camera's have 0.3 megapixels, not bad though. BEST PHONE I'VE HAD!!! Well recommended phone... for such a cheap price and all the awesome features!!

A very lovely phone :D I bought this phone from Phones 4 U at �29.95 on Orange, and I must say it was a cracking deal. I am upset that I was unable to get one on T-Mobile, but Orange seems ok so far. But, onto the phone! It is a very attractive looking phone (I, myself, have a pink one) and the walkman is simply amazing. I am upset with how little memory there is on the phone, although it came with a 128MB memory card, so that's better than nothing. The ring tones that you are provided with aren't wonderful, although being a walkman phone, you can use your own MP3s as the ringtone. There is also a lovely little feature called MusicDJ on the phone, that allows you to make your own little ditties out of various sounds, that you can also use as your ringtone or message tone. The camera isn't worth talking about, tbh. It's appauling. But, you're not buying a camera. It is very easy to transfer music onto the phone, you are provided with an installation disc, and a USB. All you have to do is copy and paste your MP3 files into the phone tab. I've not had any problems recieving a signal, which is a big plus for me, having previously had to make do with a phone that got signal if it felt like it. I am not in the slightest bothered about the lack of bluetooth. I have never had any need for it, never used it, and don't want it. I've not tried the Infrared yet, so I can't comment on that as of yet. In all, a very fabulous phone, and I would reccomend it to anyone. As an extra note, do not buy this phone, or any other phone, from the Carphone Warehouse. They give appauling service, and quite frankly, are **** :) Buy direct from Orange, or any other network it is available on, or from Phones 4 U. You will be much better off :) Go buy this phone, it is lovely :D

Got the SE w200i, mainly for the walkman brand. It's got memories with me. As expected sound quality is good. At first I had difficulty with the walkman player due to repeated hangs but the after-care service re-installed the software and it's working properly now. I bought a 2 Gigabyte M2 card. So, I'm packing all my songs on it. With a card reader file transfer is even easier than the software which is already easy.

Joystick annoyingly stiff and fiddly. Keys have never loosened up in 3 months use.No Bluetooth is unjustifiable really. Camera is rubbish, worse than expected. Don't bother with it. Buy something else instead. It has put me off Sony completely.

This walkman phone has changed my life since October 2007. At a low price, I now carry with me my favourite music tracks, and the supplied mega bass headphones bring very high quality sound comparable to expensive music systems. I thing Sony Ericsson music phones are giants in terms of bass output and sound quality in general; dominating the music phone market with the famous Mega Bass logo. The phone came equipped with a 128MB card, and I have upgraded to 512MB,so that now have about about 90 of my favourite music tracks. Until now I dont think of buying another music phone except, perhaps, upgrading the memory card to a 2MB one. For anybody deeply interested in music then dont hesitate; go and get W200i.

A phone is used to make & recieve calls & texts. To all those complaining about camera quality, go buy a camera. For those complaining about memory for their music, go buy an mp3 player. If you want a phone with everything on it do you really thing a �20-�30 phone is going to have that? It's cheap & easy to use (expecially to text, my old k800i was always missing out letters when I wrote texts but this never does) & looks good & is small & light (unlike the k800i which was a brick). If you want a budget phone with a couple extras at a low price then this is for you. Except maybe not for people with big hands/fingers, they might be better off with a brick.

I bought this phone for its music playing capability, but have been disappointed because of the phone's reliability. Periodically, the phone�s sound just cuts out; it�s like the memory of the phone can�t cope. The only solution seems to be to turn the phone off & on, but that is time consuming & irritating, & doesn�t last. I bought my phone last summer & soon after bought a 4gb memory card. The �cut out� problem was so occasional that it didn�t bother me, but the frequency of the cut outs increased, such that I complained to the place where I bought it (over the phone through Virgin mobile). I don�t think their overseas call centre really understood the problem, but they sent me a replacement phone. I was then disappointed as the replacement phone also had the cut-outs. Looking at the Sony-Ericsson website, I noticed that the w200i phone only supports 2gb memory cards, so I invested in a 2gb card. However, it still has the cut outs, but not so bad as with the 4gb card.

Excellent phone for the price of it..! Im 12 and this must be my..12th phone? Definately top 5! It has msn, walkman, camera[not a very good 1 at that..], internet, 3d games, alarm clock..everything you would expect from a standard phone.. 69 euro! Lightweight.. Excellent battery life..overall a great phone..would reccommend it to anyone =] 10 out of 10!! Or in this case 5 out of 5 !!

got dis fone as my 1st 1 and deres loadza stuff u can do wiv it though its cameras a bit rubbish. i wud prefer if it had bluetooth but not a huge drawback 4 me. great music player especially if u get a bigger memry card u can get hundreds of songs. a defo buy really long batry life i keep it on ova nite and it lasts 4 or 5 days!!! realy cheap too!!!!!

I think its a decent phone considering I bought it for 40. It has a fantastic Walkman Player with outstanding music quality and a great radio. Decent camera and video. Facewarp, Music Mate, Music DJ and Photo DJ is also included for quite a lot of fun. However, there is one AWFUL flaw which damages the phone's value. There is NO Bluetooth which when I think about it should have been included instead of the weak Infared port at the top of the phone. Pros: -128MB Memory Stick (M2) -Music DJ -Photo DJ -Facewarp & Music Mate -Radio -Cool Walkman Player -Decent Camera & video Cons: -NO Bluetooth -Could have been a better camera (Should have been 1.3 MP) -Weak Infared Overall, its a good, decent phone worth the 40 pounds. I would recommend the phone as a starter phone or for someone who wants a phone with decent capabilities (Bluetooth is the only bad point).

I think that the Sony Ericsson W200i's quality is sometimes a little shaby in places but also it is a well designed phone! The buttons are well spaced out for space for the thumbs to go, and also the iconic Walkman sign all over the phone! It reminds me of the BMW M5 M because there are more Ms on that car than in the names arount the world! THERE IS ONE DIFFERANCE THOGH,THE LOGOS DO NOT SPOIL THE STYLING AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL. I used to have the Motorola C261 and that was way worse than this phone and also the build quality was worse on the Motorola than on this! This can play music aswell while with the motorola, you had to carry the phone and your MP3 player. C261s are bulky but because of that, it is acually harder to break than the Sony Ericsson. ALSO IT IS VERY AFFODABLE! BEST PHONE IN THE WORLD

Nice looking phone but with the music player active, the phone functions don't work (no incoming calls if you're listening to music etc). Also if you're driving you can't have a handfree connected and charge at the same time (it's the same connector for both functions). Keys are tiny. Nice phone if you only want to listen to music, but it's not the great all-rounder it's cracked up to be. I've gone back to older generation Nokias thanks.

I got this phone to just listen to music and text. Don't care much about the camera or the fact that it has no BLUETOOTH, SO WHAT. I also like the size, small enough to fit nicely in you r pocket etc, The memory is not great but you can now buy 2gb sticks for it which really makes this a awesome Phone for the money.

for someone who just wants a decent call & text phone with decent battery life and good, tactile buttons, you can't lose here especially for the price. i don't use the music player or camera because i have separates. pros: -easy to use -battery life good -cheap to buy -reasonable joystick -lightweight cons: -no fancy features (if this is what you're after) hope that helps!

Excellent budget phone! The screen and camera are basic but is expected for the �30 price. Without a doubt the best feature on it is the Walkman player. I've owned several creative mp3 players in the past but the bass and quality on this blow them away! Is like a party in a phone wooooooooooooooooo!! Excellent battery life too!

i got this phone but then found out it has no bluetooth, camera is rubbish and i doesnt hold that much memory with all your pictures ( bad quality) videos and then music, i would prefer to pay a little bit more money for a much much better phone.i wouldnt buy it if u take many pictures and wont alot of music on it. but for a casual just simple fone, it is ok. ( i spose)

The lack of bluetooth is the only slight pain as it won't connect to my in-car bluetooth. (However, transferring files to a PC is easy enough with the supplied cable). Also, as others have countlessly pointed out, the camera is a bit grainy. But - heck !! - look the PRICE !! If bluetooth and a hi-res camera are not critical for you, then take a serious look at this one. It feels light but is surprisingly robust (I've dropped mine a few times) and has many features for its price. I seriously recommend it !

great phone, loads of functions, i've put a 512mb card in the memoy slot- and now have loads of tunes on the in built walkman. the camera is not hi tech, but i found the quality of picture extremely good. the radio is really good to have on the go, and there is this thing called 'face warp' which distorts photos of your friends and family- very funny!! overall, i'm surprised they let this phone go so cheap, i would pay double for it, just a great looking phone, with more functions than i would use.

hi i am abu. just before 4 months i bought this sony ericsson w2ooi mobile.It was working properly.This is particularly made for music. Hear songs with walkman is fantastic. It brings with 128 MB memory card with 27 MB phone memory.you can put 25 songs in this memory card. you can update this upto 512 MB.

Please buy this phone, it so good! who cares if its not got bluetooth! you can send vids and pics anyway and you can still send a song with infared![even tho its takes alot longer!] oh well! and as for the camera its much better than people make it out to be! This is not a rubbish phone! it is excellent and i want to keep this phone i dont want another i wouldnt get another if someone gave me it for free! i love it!

i have just swaped this phone for a rubish MOTOROLA L6. the L6 was the bigest pile of poo ever. so i decided to get a sony ericson for the first time, so i got the w200i!!! i love it! but my dad thinks it's rubish(obviusly). i highly recomend this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NEEDS BLUETOOTH STUPID ERICSSON

This phone is full of every thing but dosnt have BLUEETOOTH, not even 1 megapixel. The only good thing about this fone that it alest can play songs and holds a me card slot!! but ather then that i wouldnt recomand to buy this phone esp, if every 1 at skool has a flash fone wid bluetooth nd ect... errr dont bother buying this fone it will never compare to the rest but if you do... got to live what you got!

I have had this phone for a while and it is ok but its camera is not really that good it is only a VGA not even 1 megapixel. the joystick sometimes freezes on me which can be bad but other than that it is great.

Only paid �35 for this phone, and for that money you cant fault it. The only things I could say are that the menus are merky, they remind me of the 1st ever colour screen phones, the cameras not great by any strech of the imagination. Also the lack of bluetooth is puzzling. Although it does have infa red. However i do have to say for that money, a 128mb expandable memory card slot is great, the sound quality is top noch, comes with great head phones which can easily be changed for any standard headphones. Overall it is a budget buy, but with a few extra features which just show that sony ericsson are thinking of us :) best phone for under �50 you can buy.

i loved this phone because of its features and its good looks. but the one thing i didnt like was it was a walkmen phone but it never had any bluetooth how could a phone have walkmen player but no bluetooth thats just stupid!!

my boyfriend brought me the w200i locked to asda mobile for xmas paid �59.99 nice phone all the things i wanted just 1 problem..... NO ONE KNOWS OR CAN UNLOCK THE PHONE SO YOU CAN USE ANY SIM CARD!! Its sooo annoyin coz i persuaded my dad to put me on contract and now i have two fones because i cant get my w200i unlocked!!! anyone no how to? email me x.miss-roxy.x@hotmail.com cheers

Got mine yesterday and is a brill phone, wouldve liked to pay a little extra for blutooth/decent camera tho. Looks fantastic i have to say, not too flashy, (im the geeky lookin type so flash dont suit :D:D) So much better than my old fone, but then agen thts not sayin much.

The Phone is really good only with the head set.The Bass Reflex is not marketin gimmick.We can really feel the thump.I travel in a very noisy environment but with the headphones i hardly hear anything other than good music the phone produces.The only bad thing though is,its not real loud in loud speakers and also loses out to w700i and others interms of quality and volume.The camera is BAD.They could have included Bluetooth instead of a camera.Battery life is really decent.It supports hours of music play with little drop in charge.Video clarity is pretty disappointing but mostly the screen itself is quite bad interms of clarity.FM is good,louder than the MP3 files.The strength is quite low indoors.Call reception is good and texting is okay.Those of you economic but still wanting quality music like i do this is the phone for you.

the w200i is an o.k mobile but it does not have blututh which is rubish it has a walkman which is good because you can use it as a mp3 player but over all i would get a u600

Hi People, got this phone for 4 months now & I must say this phone is the Bomb. The speaker quality is great as is characteristic of Sony Ericsson's, the headphones provide a very deep bass sound & also clear reception for the radio stations. Battery life is OK,, this phone is great, and it makes me happy, ciao people

i like my phone cause it is cute and simple to use but its downfall is that it does not have bluetooth so you cant help your friends out with ur music but oh well i still like it =) and he camera is abit rubbish but i t doesnt mater cause most people have got a digital 1 anyway x

kool 4on. jus the camera sucks! looks too plasticy and lacks bluetooth. other then that this is a good basic/standard fone. with a decent music player n radio.

for a low-priced phone its really not bad but the camera is rather low-quality and one thing i don't like about it is that dust gets collected in the joystick area, which gets really irritating. on the whole its pretty good if you're on a low-budget.

got mine today for 34.99 from argos. cant get much better than that. MEH it has no bluetooth but who cares when youve got a brilliant phone, with expandable memory and an amazing music player for such a low price.

I bought this phone for just �38 with external speakers and it was an absolute bargain. My son who is just 8 wanted a phone to text his friends etc, so we were just looking for something basic and easy to use, and this really hits the spot, and is more than i actually expected, easy to transfer files, camera quality is much better than expected and it has all the functions an 8 year old could ever expect!! The walkman is brilliant, he has all his songs on there. The battery seems really good and i cannot fault this little phone. It really is value for money!!! Smart easy to use and very cool looking.

this is a really bad phone too go for i am 13 years old and this is the sort of phone my mum would have bought me when i was 9!it is a pathetic excuse for a walkman sorry guys at sony ericsson but tht really is the truth:(and it doesnt even have BLUETOOTH even my nans nokia has bluetooth
