This fone is the biggest pile of junk going!! Me n my wife bought one each, thinking that it would be a good buy for £50 each... What a mistake.. Battery life is good, however.. Cannot get signal wherever you go, mirror on screen is annoying, as u cant read your txts unles you r in the dark. Fone freezes and turns off on its own. Crashes constantly, when turned off wont turn bk on so you have to take out the battery then when you put it back in you av to reset your time n date.. Send a msg, it says failed but has sent numerous times. Need i go on. DONT BUY THIS FONE!!!!

Following my previous review of this phone when I gave it 5 stars as it was then perfect for it's intended purpose I now have to down grade it to 3 stars because after 2 months of use it has now started periodically switching itself off and loosing it's time and date settings. It does this about twice a week and is disappointing as the phone is otherwise perfect for the job. If it gets any worse then it will be of no use to me and will then not even qualify for one star and I will have to throw it away.

This Phone is really BAD! The memory is terrible and the pictures aren’t the best. I fit one song on mine and that’s it but, I did get about 40 photos but there really not that great. The buttons are really hard to use when texting, especially with longer nails. Also the back on the phone broke. The good things about it are the long lasting battery, its small and the radio was ok.

Paid £40 for this mobile phone on O2 and I am very pleased with it. Yes it is a basic phone which can text and make calls. The organiser feature is also good as well, as you can store notes. It's the best £40 I have spent on a mobile. If you are looking for a mobile which has a music player, good camera, etc, then you need to look at a higher spec phone. It does exactly what it says and very well as well. I have no complaints whatsoever. So if you are on a budget and looking for a no thrills mobile phone, that does what a mobile phone is suppose to do, then I would definately recommend this.

Would give this 3 stars purely for the fact that in sunlight you can't see the display properly - which is somewhat annoying if texting or making calls. I have the silver one - don't know if others have found this problem. A good budget phone - why buy this then moan about the feature's it clearly doesn't have?!

Very stylish phone with an amazing design, sadly if only the functions could match it. There's no video recording and the limited space is very aggrivating. The camera has poor quality compared to most cameras phones and I was surprised that there was no photo editing function on the phone which was a slight disappoint to me. However, it performs all the simple functions nicely (i.e texting and calling and all the minor tools). Create for people that use phones for more simplier purposes but VERY POOR for those that were expecting multimedia functions and such.

I've done with expensive phones as my N96 got stolen. Now it just basic mobile that makes calls & sends text as once the novelty wears off on expensive fully gizmo'ed mobile ya just use them to make call & send text's, so i see no point in spending Hundreds of pounds on mobiles again. Right down to the little SE T303. I Bought this from work for £39 It small & the battery last forever. I've not suffered the problems other people have been having with this mobile, maybe because Sony have decided to update the firmware on it. This phone is basic but looks stylish aswell My girlfreind loves it & went and bought one herself as she can slap on the paint when out using the mirror screen thingy. If you a Phone Geek like i use to be, this is not the phone for you, but it you want just a phone to make calls, send text messages or the odd picture message then this is a great little mobile and fully recommend it to anybody. Like i said eariler since this phone came out last year all the problems, quirks & bugs seem like they been sorted out now. I had no problem with either signal or it resetting or sending text messages. Those who are after a simple mobile will be more than happy with the T303

I bought this phone from phones 4u. £19.99. Solid body, easy to use menu, no over complicated bits. A few previous reviews say that when they close the phone the call doesnt end.. true.. you have to enable it in the menu and the userguide that comes with the phone tells you to do this and exactly how to do it.. for the money its an excellent phone. Hard wearing, looks great, compact, fits in your pocket fine, its basic and easy to use, Triband (take it on hols) uncomplicated, bonus is camera and mp3 tone plus the accessories.. hands free kit, data transfer kit, phone pouch, which if purchased seperately would cost well over what I paid for it anyway.. Its all I need in a phone. It does exactly what it says on the box. Ok, so it has no expandable memory, but its not the end of the world, but like the website recommends.. try the next phone model up! So far no probs with reception (on Orange) or freezing. For what I paid for it, its a bargain and I would recommend i t. It does the job. If you want fancy cameras, mp3 etc.. then spend more money on another model, my advice would be to go to Jessops or Currys and buy an SLR camera and an Ipod. But as this phone isnt an SLR or and Ipod, dont compare them, and with everything in life, READ THE INFORMATION BEFORE YOU SIGN UP TO IT OR BUY IT! Then you wont be dissapointed.

Got this phone a few months ago and having the same issues as J Humphrey. Love the look-and the mirror is handy- but it freezes, I can't open text messages, voicemails come through days later, I often have full signal but only have option to make emergency calls and the 123 buttons are far too close to the bottom of the slider. Oh well-will be def. upgrading asap!!!

lots of divided opinion on this one, for me it was an impulse buy, it was upgrade time, what a nice looking compact phone.the previous sony was a w300i which my daughter cadged of me, have to say, ive never been unhappy with sony phones, its good to see there still keeping up with the build quality and reliability. so, what appears to be the problem, you want i phone specs, simple, buy an i phone, you want to shoot pics like david bailey, buy an olympus or what ever the hell camera it was that he used!,this phone was just about the cheapest on offer, and certainly the felt like the most solidly put together... guess ill hold on to it till the youngest decides it will fit her handbag better than my shirt pocket...oh, and by the way, i tested the number of pics you can take. the pics average out at 100kb,s a shot, 8 meg of free memory, no prizes for guessing..... well done sony, another winner, hope it lasts as long as my very old t630....

I payed £50 for this phone. The signal is terrible, it freezes regularly, has long load times on inbox and contacts menus when the phone has just been switched on, there is no feature to block people, the mp3 player is useless as you can only have one song at a time, as the screen is mirrored you can hardly see it when you're outside and if it's sunny you can't see it at all. I basically think this is a ridiculusly overpriced phone, and would not recommend it to anyone.

just got this phone last week as a replacement for my rubbish nokia 6300, I have great ipod and great camera so all I needed was a phone to talk and text. This fits the bill nicely, its small and stylish ,good slide mechanism. Buttons quite small so designed for the ladies I am afraid. It does tell you if you've missed a call previous comments suggested it didn't. Battery life is fab , menu is easy enough to follow, the camera is crap but who cares its not what I bought it for. I won't ever use the MP3 player on it, If you pay £35 quid for a phone you can't expect more. For an entry level phone i.e basic its excellent value.

Don't buy the t303 if you are using a Mac! For some strange reason SE decided not to add the SyncML protocol on this phone. (This is the synching protocol that pretty much ALL their phones use) As so, it's impossible to use iSync with it.
