This was my second phone. bought it in 2005, still works(it's a toy of my 9 year old little sister now). I thought it was great back in those times.

The phone went dead and did not charge i tried to clean it but still would not charge. Had for barely any time.

I've had this phone since --forever and technology has moved on. I got it when I was 11 when I went on the bus just for the SOS call or a text. I guess for basic functions like that it's pretty good. Two years on. Blah. I need more.

It's very good for an oldih ohone- i've had it for a few years now, had no problems, very pleased with it. No point of me getting a new one as im perfectly happy- it rings, takes calls, texts, all you needfr a phone really :)

I don't know about you guys, but this phone is cool. At first though, it didn't really look as a kind of phone that I would enjoy. I explored a bit and found out that I want to keep it. It has a lot of features. The games are the first thing I appreciated. Mine came with the game V-Rally2. I am a fan of auto-games. I didn't know that it had that game. I had mine for a bout a while now, it never hang-ed. The price is really cheap for this kind of phone. I was used to Nokia but now I am switching to Sony Ericsson. Sad thing though is I cannot access the WAP.

I like this phone as it looks good and light weight. When there is battery warning, this phone gets disconnected. This is not a good feature at all.

i bought this phone in 2004 and it is still working properly. its battery life is really good.It completes basic tasks with ease, and it looks good. the main problem is its less features.even its cover is not easily avaible. till date i haven,t faced any problem with the phone so i would rate it to be good

God I love this phone! Here I am in May 2007, and it is still going strong! Had it for 3 and a half years now. Brilliant!! Stuff the Nokia N95 and all the hoo haa, its the T230 for teh win!

I have this phone since May 2004. Now it is February 2007. For that time I have total time of 116h.30min.22sec. The battery lasts for about 3 days with about 60-80 min. of talking time and the rest is on stand-by. Well, there's no camera. I bought one. Sony Cyber-shot with 7.2 Mega pixels. Makes great pictures. My old camera was Olympus. Also a good camera but doesn't work when it's wet :) Back to the phone. Doesn't have radio and no support of mp3. I bought a player with radio and mp3 support. i was thinking of an i-pod but it cost too much. I think that the T 230 is great, but it served its time. Now I think to change it because I got fed up with it.

if u plan to use this phone for the purpose of a phone, it is gr8. m using it for over 2.5 years... if u want all the fancy features, ull be sad, but y use a phone as a camera?

i m not fascinated by this set...........its ok...........the bettary backup of this set is very poor as compare to nokia sets..........sometimes its get hanged over........but as it my 1st mobile i just love it....

i bought this fone i year back,this is such a slow phone and often hangs up on restarting it but to its good point it has good battery than nokia phones but,it is better than nothing or having an black & white phone.

I got my T230 2 years ago and i'm happy to say it works well. I can't understand why some people just rave on how, the battery life is poor, the
reception is poor..... well, boo-hoo! they work just fine. what i will
agree with is the fact that this phone is slow. it's slow in navigation
menus and slow in typing messages. but it can still do those just fine.
and the screen is'nt as good as the new ones.
I know the t230 is outdated now, and I plan to upgrade to a K300i soon,
but I will say this, as a basic phone with a colour screen, the T230 (now
T290i) remains good value for money. and here, it costs just the same as a Nokia 1110/1108! Of course, i would rather recommend anyone looking for a basic colur screen phone today to look at the Nokia 2600/1600 as well.

i only put a 3 cause i know better phones out there but it how u take care of your phone. and the rings not good they AWESOME!!! i know y those jacks just say it okay it cause they cant find good sites 2 download good games, rings and animations. where i come from we know how 2 unlock networks get free tex and even calls!! just use u damn heads people it doesn't take a genious 2 figure it out! u neeed 2 get the phone!

This is a really bad phone!!!! It scratches so easily and my buttons stoppedwoking after a few months! Also, this phone is compatible with HARDLY ANY downloadable ringtone or graphics, and the ones that are compatible cost from $5.00 upwards. The colour is also really bad...if ur looking for a good phone for entertainment get something like Samsung E700 but if you want a reliable phone go for the Nokia 3315.

Execllent value for money.When compared to nokia phones of same price range,this is steal.Very handy.But i think there are some problems getting the network.It hasn't been long since i am using this. but everthing else look just fine

It's quite fine with the capability of gprs and mms, but the problems the cam you need to attached it first...But it's quite handy the best of the things i want in the cell is it's handiness... Buy it peps no regrets and it's much cheaper than others only 3900 php equivalent of 70$ plus... (Paalam) good bye in philippines...

Good: small light; very light charger sound recorder chronometer generally acceptable according to specifications as described in documentation Bad: Difficult to type numbers when writing text. Numbers are last in a long of odd rarely used characters Calls list made from only last calls from each (if you call someone twice, only last call appears in the list) Call date not displayed Cannot set up volume for alarms and events; sound settings have no impact on it Events are signaled for only for a few seconds Charger connector seems to be not very reliable; it has 2 plastic black little "things" for locking into the phone that I'm afraid to break anytime I plug it out Black screen when not lighted; you can see only the clock Screen difficult to watch in strong light; seems to be all black You cannot make calls while using the chronometer Some text messages keep scrolling and are retyped without user's control. They are difficult to read

I HATE this Phone...i hardly get 2 Hours Talk time.. Charging this phone is one horrible thing..theres a lot of problem in charging this and it shows battery full and if you beleive it then you are in trouble...the very next time you make a call you will find the battery low. I strongly advise not to buy this phone.

besides its smallsized buttons i think this is a phone that does what it has to do. Good sound, long lasting battery and good looks. For me its a plus it doesnt have a camera cause who needs one really? another plus is its shockresistance, its easy-to-use menu and its basic colourscreen (but who needs colour? its just fun isn't it?) well in all im quite fond of this phone.

Very easy to use mobile phones with limited but nice feuteres. I suggest this phone to those persons, who like semplicity and nice design together. Ovviusly there are many mobile phones better than this one, but however, it is cheap to have!

I've used it.. But seems nothing more special.. Battery is stable but not the complete hand set. Hangs often and takes lot of time to start.

I was daily stuggle with T230. problem: Talk time : 1hr - 1 1/2 hrs. Network : Very very Bad. Even other phone picking the network. T230 always says SOS CALLS ONLY.

This is a cheapo phone that doesn't have a lot to recommend it. Naf screen, no camera. Yawn, it's so boring. OK, it's quite dinky and the poly ringtones are OK, but please do yourself a favour and get something a bit nicer.
