i have a k770i and it is a sick phone (compared to the mobiles of 2007. My camera is nearly hd but the video quality is poor. The screen is small yet bright and very good quality. The phone is durable aswell. I have thrown my k770i down laminate stairs 3 times and nothing has happened. Compared to what i have seen the k770i is a slimer, much newer and one of the best in the k series

had the phone for a few months and the numbers on the keypad have completely worn off, luckily i know the layout well! battery life is... well, pretty pathetic, which seems to be a common fault with this phone. I don't use it excessively but will have to recharge every 2 days if i'm lucky. Despite the worn down keypad, it's a pretty sleek design, and like all sony ericssons is really great to use. The camera is alright, but for 3.2 megapixels i'd expect much better quality. Essentially, the phone has plenty of redeeming features, but if you don't want to spend most of your week waiting for it to charge up, i'd recommend you look elsewhere.

Its a cool, compact, light weight, classic look, easy to handle product. Its Sound Clarity ( through headset) is highly remarkable. I think even music edition phones of other companies can give this much sound perfection. Its CAMERA is also very good. It helped me a lot in taking photos of my old albums almost in a 90 % clarity. The drawback I felt is that, its software is java.. Which doesn't support most of the applications like 'fring' voice chat.

Hate this phone! First and only handphone I have had since 1995 where I can not choose myself to not have soundwarning when battery is weak. Wakes me up many times. Now I have to close it before sleeping. Why cant I choose myself how to use my own phone????? Weak battery. Camera takes good photos, specially good when light is poor but dont want to use the flash. But the camerashutter is so slow, from pressing for photo it takes at least a second before th epicture is actually taken. Today tried to take photos of runners in marathon. Not one was in the picture! They passed before it was taken. Its a joke. Will never by a Sony ever again.

I've had this phone for a year, it's gotten plenty of scratches so thats my only problem with it. this phone is so good I love it! the camera is really good and the conection is usually good no matter what. However it does sometimes go on the internet by itself but I guess that's my networks fault. and to be honest it still works even after everything it's been though; the keypad is covered in varnish and still works really well! So its durable! I would choose this phone over the newer models any day, and it comes in Purple!

the k770i is a handy and convenient normal phone. Its camera is outstanding but lacks the zoom feature. Video mode can be used alongwith zoom. Contrary to popular belief the standby time really is 400hrs. try to keep the brightness low around 60% to conserve on much needed battery. Keep the ringer sound normal and not too loud. You can easily get at least 2-3 days standby with normal 5hrs usage. I recommend this fone for fret-free people who just need some music on the go and a SIMPLE phone to text and make calls with. (This phone does not offer facebook applications, wifi, tv out options or any hitech solutions to you business schedule. Its a really light 95gram phone that you wont even feel that you have in your pocket. The keys are a bit harder to press than nokia due to their slim design but all SE`s are like that. You`ll get used to it. Its memory suffices for more photo sessions and music libraries. Video quality is not to die for so dont rely on it too much. Good for mms and emails.) Recommended in this price range!!!

i'v bought this k770i 2 days ago to replaced my lost k800i. first impress its has smooth design. but the k800 has better materials for its cover. k770's screen isn't as bright as the k800. and the camera looks cheaper and weaker than the k800. even it has same resolution, but the chinese assembled taste, plus no infrared sensor and no xenon, makes this phone feels sishy in compare with k800. one more, i think the processor on this phone also weaker than k800i, eventhough the lil k610i hav better acceleration than this both cybr.

When i bought this phone i was upgrading from a SE W810 and for the first few months i felt it was a good decision; however, after getting used to the slight differences between the phones i have come to realise that in day to day use the K770i just doesn't cut the mustard. Firstly, this phone is in the K*** series which should mean that the camera is superior to W*** series phones, which it is certainly not; The zoom function only works in videos and vga mode (W810i zooms for 2mp photos) and the photo editor has awkward, unuseful features and doesn't even include a pen function. The music player is a poor effort and doesn't allow you to scroll your playlist while in the Now Playing screen. Also, the bass equalizer is very weak and hardly even noticable. Most of the other features of the phone are pretty much up to the standard of most SE phones(good) One last thing i would like to mention is that recently my K770 has not been allowing me to save photos from pic messages i'v received and when i edit photos i can't save them (a message comes up to say my memory is full when it's not) If you want a Sony Ericsson phone then i would suggest getting either the W810 or a W850 as they are by far the best SE phones i've owned.

I had to reset my phone to put it right and now only 2 months later I have experienced problems with the profiles settings and not getting the alerts for calls or messages and my photo's have disapeared. I am in the process of trying to sort it out and hopefully get a replacement. So I am not impressed. The features were okay without these problems but now I have been turned off of sony ericsson. Also the keys have worn quite quickly compared to previous phones.

Have had SE phones before and chose this phone with confidence on an 18 month 3 contract as it combines a solid feel with a slimline profile and cool metal/plastic casing, plus the excellent Sony Cybershot camera. In everyday use the phone/camera has stood up well to daily abuse with only one minor repair required to the memory card slot after a major tumble. The only downside being the number pad which rubbed off with the first few months and required a cheap Ebay SE cloned part to replace it, as the SE original was not economically viable! Have just ordered my new C902!!!

Vile, vile phone. Really does put Sony Ericsson to shame. My previous experience with Sony Ericsson was fab (K700i). Rock solid, no flex, no creaking. Sadly, the centre joystick “stuck” and became hard to use. I brought this phone in the hope that it would live up to my previous expectations of Sony Ericsson phones. Firstly, the chassis is made out of creaky cheap plastic. The back, when taken off flexes like rubber. The software is appalling with the browser not being Opera Mini and the general bloat of the software ie. a random plane taking off in my video folder. The bloat is even made worse by setting all of the games (all of which are poor and extremely sub-slandered), apps ect to read-only! Thou shall not delete thy plane video! The camera, which is one of the major selling points of this phone is rubbish with shutter lag over 1.5 to 2 secs. The included headset is rubbish – when you walk down the street at a normal pace, the ear buds just ke ep falling out. This is made worse by the single proprietary connecter on the phone. I can’t listen to the radio whilst charging it! Sony Ericsson, if you are reading this, pause and rethink why your early phones were so popular (I’ll give you a hint: build quality). You need to rewrite/restyle the GUI so that it can still compete with the likes of Nokia and Apple – why? They are so simple to use and just have design coherence. Also, don’t ever put your apps as read only. I don’t want a stupid face twister app on my phone, nor do I want a rubbish diving game. I'm going back to Nokia.

Had 3 inside first 12 months with 3!! All had various different faults.Battery/talk time is terrible on these. You'll have to charge everyday even if not using much.Camera is not up to much in my opinion. The phone gets very hot when talking and apparently Sony has been using cheap companies to make rubbish internal parts for these phones hence the problems. If you are lucky and get a good one I'm sure that you'll be happy but this phone has been a nightmare for me and won't go with a Sony phone again. My 4th one has packed in now and I just smashed it up as 3 just keep replacing with ones that break down. You also don't always get texts/calls on them.

This phone is perfect. I don't know why others had so many problems. This is a phone, not a small box that's not supposed to break down, no matter how bad you treat it. It's an electrical device, you have to be a little careful. My brother's had this phone for months now, it's amazing. The only reason he doesn't have it now is because he lost it. The battery life is very good and the camera isn't so bad if you have a low budget. ;)

I've had this phone 5 months now I think, and I havent had a problem with it! It's a small, reliable little phone. It's never crashed although I must admit it has had a few blipps and turned its self off but apart from that it's overall a very good phone. Not too inpressed with the LED flash on the camera, it not a patch on the K800i (which was my last phone), which had the brilliant Xenon flash! Music is pretty loud (if you like it loud!), keys are sometimes a problem as they are very small. Never really given me many problems, so I rate this a 3 and would recommend this phone to anyone.

I hate this phone. Itis quite thick and heavy in your hand. It doesn't have wi-fi which is a problem for me as i am a big internet user and i have tried to get on cerrtain websites but it wont let me which is very annoying. I always look after my phone, and one day the camera had the same problem as"jp" but then it stopped, worked for a bit, and then came up with a black screen. It is now in repairs.I used to own the Sony Erricson k800i, I know it was a brick but i loved it. If you are looking to buy a new phone on a budget do not buy this phone, buy something like the Sony Erricson k800i.

I got this phone Christmas 2008 , i thought i got it cheap i payed £48, when i first got the phone i fell in love with this phone but after a week of having the phone that love ran out. The bluetooth on the phone hardly ever work ..!!! whick is annoying as i use bluetooth alot .. and also the 3.15 mega pixel camra is AMAZING on pictures but is sadly VERY poor on video and the sound quality on video isnt good either.. The phone battery is Very poor i have to chrge it up every night and when charging the phone doesn't tell you when its fully charge . This doesn't happen a lot but the phone freeze and u cant turn your phone off m pressing the button you have to take you battery out. Oh and also t keeps resetting the time and date on my phone..the phone can be slow sometime and i find to get the phone working problery i have to reset the phone . Also on of the mager promblem ifo me is that when i use the usb cable and that Edit picture thing on your phone when i save or try to add a photo is says " Memory is full" when i have loads of memory free this also happen if bluetooth work when someone trys sending me a photo or a song it say the same thing . Memory full even thou it isnt.. Aprat from that the sound quality when player music is very good ... volume is good ..also which really impressed me is the screen is really bright and very clear .The camra is really good but only with pic. one last bad thing after a couple of month pf having the phone the writting on the button rubbed off. Thank you for reading and i hope my Review has helped.. Over i do not recemend this phone to anyone
