The Sony Ericsson K750i is a standard top of the range phone, however it is about a year old so does not compete with the features of all the latest Sony Ericsson phones.
It is a standard design of average size (100 x 46 x 21 mm) and weight (99g). One of the niggles is the fiddly joystick which some people find slightly difficult to use, although with a bit of use this becomes easier to get to grips with.
The phone has a 2 megapixel camera with autofocus, 4x digital zoom, photo light, and picture editor and effects. The autofocus feature will automatically focus the camera on a particular subject instead of using a fixed focus distance. The megapixel count is good but there are cameras with a higher number of megapixels out now by Sony Ericsson such as the K800i and K790i, both featuring 3.2 megapixels. The K750i also comes with a video camera and image editing PC software.
The phone has a TFT display viewable in bright sunlight with 176 x 220 pixels and 262,144 colours. The resolution is very good but is not the highest around at the moment in comparison to the K800i which has a resolution of 240 x 320.
There is a music player and FM radio and with the internal memory being 34 Mbytes you will be able to put a few songs on your phone. If however that is not enough, there is the option available to extend the memory with a Memory Stick Duo or Memory Stick Pro Duo card, expanding the phone's memory to 64 MB or 1 GB respectively. It also has a media player that plays video as well as music. The Melody composer/MIDI (MusicDJ™) is a feature that allows you to mix sounds, video clips, pictures and text that you are then able to send as a message.
The phone has MP3 ringtones and 40-voice polyphonic ringtones, meaning that the phone is capable of playing 40 notes at once which is quite impressive, although 72-voice ringtones are now available in newer phones. The phone also features downloadable Java games.
This phone has a variety of connectivity options, namely Bluetooth, Infrared and USB. Bluetooth allows connectivity between other phones or devices with Bluetooth up to 10 metres apart.
The messaging capabilities are SMS, EMS, MMS, Instant Messaging and Email. It supports internet access and has WAP 2.0 and GPRS. GPRS offers a moderate speed of data transfer but is by no means the fastest, and for a phone of this standard in comparison to others it is quite disappointing.
The battery talk time is up to 9 hours, and the standby time is up to 400 hours, which is excellent and one of the highest amongst the top of the range phones. Its operating frequency is tri-band, which means that it works in Europe and the States.
Other features of the phone include a sound recorder, voice commands and voice dialling, speaker phone, animated wallpaper, picture phonebook and personal organiser functions.
All in all the K750i is a very good mobile phone but it is not the best in the market. It has a very good camera and the built in music is great. If you buy this phone you will not be disappointed.

I, personally think that the Sony Ericsson K750i is the worst phone on the market at the currrent time. I think that sony have really dropped their standards by producing this phone. I bought this phone yesterday for £130 and it hasn't lived up to the standard that they were desplaying it at! Some of the terrible features it has are things like; the terrible 1.3 megapixel camera and the music player that dosen't support WMA or AAC playback.

i have had this phone for 4 years now and still goign as good as the day i got it. allthough the joystick is starting to give and the right hand side shortcut key is very tempremental. proberly due to dust and condensation etc... but overall still working absoulty fine!

This phone has been wonderful. It does everything you could ever need & does it all well. I only used to use a phone as a phone, but now I organise my life on it, using the calendar & alarms often, (multiple snooze option in 10 minute bursts), pop-up notes, reminders, I schedule calls, library book returns, radio programmes, set timers for cooking & running baths. It's so well designed. A phone's features are only as useful as they are easy & above all quick to use. These are & it has become indispensible.

I bought my K750i 3 years ago.Just one word can describe it:Excellent. As an unbelievable media phone, flexible in handling pictures, mp3 tracks or videos.It is more like a small PC for me with the uploaded plus applications. As I keep mine in a protective "bodyglove" it is still in brilliant condition.Good buy...good bye

I love my Sony Ericsson K75oi It only has one fault in my opinion and that is... When you rieceve a text message the print in the mobile is so small its very hard to see and read, to my knowledge you cannot make the text bigger. victorbainbridge@hotmail.com

The phone is very practical and easy to use. ive had mine for well over 2 years now and its a good everyday fone. I have thrown it about all over but amazingly it is still working near perfectly. the phones screen resolution is good and the sound quality is high. grear 4 calling n txtin. My battries quite old now and runs out quite quike when i play music. my charging thing at the bottom is messed and its a mission 2 get it 2 charge. the browser is great. i also have a sony ericsn w880i which is great and well known 4 its slimness. ive also recently bought a w610i which is working great BUT I HATE THE BUTTONS. Overall k750i is a good cheap n cheerfull fone.

Man I dont get it, y do these people say k750i is'nt a good fone? Its awesome! u ai'nt gonna get a 2mp camera wid auto focus in the nokia 6310! Only problem wid SE K750 is the battery life, but I dont blame it, with all those functions, it has to run out of battery. and a message for SE, please dont make fones with joystick, the start 2 mess up after a while, but K750i is the boss, and nokia 6310 is just a wann be!

The phone is excellent in every respect. Ita mega Boss Sound is unique. Cantke still and video up to % Km Range.Dictionary is Excellent . Iamusing sinc one and a half year.

good phone nice look and features but the battery life is poooooooorrr !!!! so make sure u give it its best charge when first getting brand new from the box IT PROBLY WONT MAKE MUCH DIFFRENCE AS YOU WILL KNOW EN YOU START TOO USE IT BUT IT WILL MAKE YOU BATTERY LAST FOR A VERY LONG TIME WARNING KEEP AWAY FROM WATER !!! Probably the best phone I've ever had in my life! I've got this for phone(red wine version) about 3 years now and everything is good about it. The battery life is very high. Playing games is great on it, I got over 100 games stored and its amazing. You can record, make videos. I got over 500 photos in it and still I got plenty of memory in it. It never ever crashes or freezes! Its got a torch light self camera, MP3, FM Radio, very clear quality. Never got bored of it. The joystick navigation is great for gaming. However the only side affect which probably pretty much all phones have is that spots of dust entered the phone. Which is now that the screen is covered with white spots making it uncomfortable to use. Though its still good.

i have had this phone for 2 and a half years, i think it is brilliant quality, and i have put off buying a new phone as i cant find one that compares. however, it has started to go funny. i would expect it for its age though. sometimes it turns itss lef off when it loses signal or i dont accept a blue tooth, but comes on again in a few seconds. also, the backlight goes off randomly... but onmly happens a couple of times a month. nothing to worry about. my speaker did cut out a few times on calls but a few knocks and its working again. i would deinaltely recoomend this. it is a LOT better than the newer SE phones. =]

i hate this phone i have had this phone for just over a year and its rubbish it breaks a lot. i barely even use it. it has now managed to turn itself off every time i try to use it i have sent it away to get repaired; did nothing. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE

I know its kinda late to be writing a review about this phone now...in 2008, but hey, i think it can still contend with most phones in 2008!... CAMERA: this phone has an amazing 2.0 megapixel camera, an you can personalize pictures, with cartoons, text, and special effects, not to mention the videos, which you can make into your own movies! ***** MUSIC: the music on this phone is very quiet, but don't let that put you off because the quality is pretty good, plus the headphones are really comfy, and padded! *** LOOKS: although this phone is somewaht large and different to other phones, its actually been quite carefully thought out. The camera is protected by a cool sliding silver cap thingy, and it comes in a burgundy red, or black. With an added silver ban around the side, and a pretty big screen, its not as bad as you might think. *** PRACTICAL?: OMG, YES! Ive dropped my w750i over 10 times, and all ive got to show for it is a few tiny hairline scratches! And ive had it for 3 years! The keypad is super easy to use, and no matter how many times you drop it, it just won't die! Just don't leave it in your pocket with money, because it can scratch the back. Plus, if you hate joysticks, don't buy this phone. ***** Overall, i would highly reccomend this phone. It came out in 2005, and it still competes with some of the big contenders today!

Its a great phone because it's built like a brick, without the feeling like a brick in your pocket! It can take great pictures and handy videos, and even open beer bottles! Although the phone seems to clog dirt in it after 2 years, creating problems for the phone-2-pc cable, the ear-piece and the joy-stick, it has proved a worthy mobile and I would consider buying another. Thats only because I broke the buttons out of it! This is a very versatile phone!

I have had 3 of those 750I since it came out. I got it originally because I found the Nokias frustrating to use. This phone is very user friendly and intuitive. I did the mistake back in november to upgrade it to a K850i; thinking it would be better since this one was really good. And I was really desappointed; the features are more complicated and not very useful to me as I don't use it to browse; its keypad is very hard and even after a few months of use, I coudln't type a text as fast as i could with the 750i. The 750i is great; my old one is now broken and I am looking for one on Ebay as I really like it; uncomplicated, not too many useless adds on to take space; and it has a lower radioactivity rate than the 850 which was 1.4 when this one is 0.9 ... You have to think of health too! I love this phone. The only problem with it is the joystick eventually gets dusty underneath and stops working (I had to send it back twice) and that gets irritating. But that its only problem as far as I am concerned.

I got my phone in 2004 and have had little problems with it! 4 years and nothing wrong!! Only once the screen didn't work but I got it fixed, no problem. Now that it's getting old I can see it having difficulty with a few things, but it's definetly good for the basic everyday need in a phone!

had this phone for nearly 2 years and its on its last legs. It served me well sort of but had a few problems along the way: screen not lighting up, bluetooth not working, freezing screen, switching itself off, buttons not working at all which happened today i had to take the battery out and put it back in again. Camera is pretty good not enough memory for storing messages highest reached is about 190. Reccommended but not for too long as it will start to break down from one thing to another.

K750i ha sbeen my companion since the past year, it never gave me a reason to complain but now it its buttons are not functioning well anymore. And K750i is a little too heavy. The only thingy that is disturbing me are the buttons. Ciao.

Had this phone for almost 2 years now... In that time it's been back once for a faulty joystick, camera that won't focus and random crashing at power-on. They fixed all of these first time, but the joystick problem is back. Apparently this is quite a common problem with sony joysticks. I certainly wouldn't buy another sony phone with one. This is a shame, because I've always had sony phones in the past, I started with a J70! I'd save up and buy something good which will last, like the iPhone.

i had this phone for like 2 years okay so sometimes it turned off for no reason and the joystick never worked for a while until i got it fixedd but believe me thi was one of the best phones ever great camera mp3 player video dj music dj it had the works but like a month ago it got stolen and i got the motorola razr v3 and it is rubbish I MISS MY PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that mobile was my brothers first mobile but used it very much the phone is very smart and sexy but one thing and the worst thing of that mobile is that its joystick gets broken very fast in 1 and a half year but other wise phone is too good everyone should buy it

Great phone. You can do lots of experiments. I changed the keypad colour, i debranded my k750i to w800i for free and changed the camera sound (nd turned it off) I also removed the O2 branding, so no O2 pictures when turning off or on. I had this phone for one years now and Im really enjoying this cool phone its better then other phones i had such as nokio phones. Its got radio on it where i listen music nearly everday and its got mp3 player on it which is cool and GREAT! I probably keep this phone for ten years or so. Get it now everybody. Well im about to upgrade to the Sony k770i ive had the k750i for about a year now. previously i was a nokia girl, after getting the k770i i can truely say that i would never for anything else other than a sony. ok so about the k750i. i have never had any problems at all really. I think the only problem is if you drop it on a solid floor it will turn itself off which is understandable! You would not believe the amount of times that i have dropped it on the floor and i can honestly say that this phone is unbreakable. ive lost it is a sheep pen and come back to find a sheep stood on it (no joke lol). if you get scratches on the fascia it is possible to get a new interface which is handy. The camera is good ive taken over 10,000 pictures on mine and the last is as good as the first. The menu is easy to use. The mp3 player is great and can be turned up really loud. i would recommend getting a bigger memory card than the one that comes with it if your wanting your phone to hold a lot of songs. mine came with 64mb which was fine for me. these canbe picked up for like a fiver off ebay. So basically after all my rambling... yes the phone is not as advanced as the phones you can pick up today but for a check phone that will last you a good couple of years, defo try the k750i x Sarah

this phone is great ive had it for 2 years now and its indestructable seriously! dropped i dont know how many times been in sand water everything. cameras still great, want to get a new phone but dont know if i can part with it or not! considering the w580i but it looks a bit flimsy so i think ill stick with this the k750i for now!

i recommend this phone 2 all according their needs.i use it 4 2years.it never give me any trouble.I have NOKIA NGAGE PREVIOUS.IT WAS HARDY LIKE A BRICK BUT HATE IT FOR ITS SYMBIAN OPERATING SYSTEM.THIS PLATFORM MAKE A PHONE SMARTPHONE BUT GIVE USER VERY MUCH TROUBLE.ANOTHER REASON I HATE NOKIA FOR ITS SURVICE CENTER.a note to SE: u have no specialized software engineer 2 write a program 2 edit office document in java platform !?! good phone overall, on my second though. (the first ones screen just came up white and refused to turn off) good features everything i could ask for really. i have found that the casing does mark quite easily. its been a good phone for the past 18 months but now i'm ugrading (mainly because the camera has completely stopped working and the loud speaker has become crackly) not the best phone i've owned but not the worst by far.

Had this mobile for over 2 years now, on the whole, it is a good phone, most features are good for everyday use and there are few problems. The camera is decent (is you don't mind the delay in pressing the button and it actually taking the picture), the only problem i'd say is the control stick, which, after a while stops working temporarily which is slightly annoying - a minor flaw in an otherwise good phone

this phone is a little bit of every thing , it has good feautres it is easy to find your option. it is not very hard. my favorite feautre is that it has a joystick to navigate around. it is much different to other phones. all i could say is it is easy simple and very entertaining.

So, I've had my hone for 2 and a half years now. I'm pleased to say that it still works, and that the cam is just as good as it was when I bought it, but I do have problems with it for a long term phone. Almost as soon as I got it, it was scratched to pieces, and since it has the old style sony ericsson connection port, the charger and headphones ALWAYS come loose. The battery life is good in general, but if using it too mcuh (aka when out with friends, filming and taking photos) it only lasts a few hours. My phone camera now doesn't load with the slider, has to be done from the menu, and it also refuses to connect to any computers. More space for music would be better too. However, despite these slight problems, it's a phone I'm sure anyone would be happy with, and it's only after owning it a very long time that these details become apparent. So, yes, I WOULD reccommend it.

this is a brilliant fone i have had it 4 a couple of years now but the only bad thing about it is my screen keeps gettin dusty and the digital stick keeps breaking i have had it replaced twice now same with the screen and its not going again it so annoying

i change my phone maby 2 times a year but i realy didnt want to change dis phone it is amazing it is now a part off me i have lots of songs and pics great memory and if you need more its cheep enough to get a memory card!!! i have also dropped this phone hundreds of times and even in the bath there is no way this phone can be destroted. it is easy to use really and stright forward.. and easy enough to connect to the computer so i do think it is a good phone!

I am the biggest moron in the history of mankind. I've had a K750i(pay as you go) for about 9 months now and it's superb in every way but that still didn't stop me from signing up with Orange for 18 months just so I could get a Nokia N95 which, despite being a real gadget freak, hasn't really fulfilled me despite all it's tricks and features. Just how incredibly stupid can one man be? The K750i is, in my honest opinion, more than anything youe need in a mobile phone. Absolutely outstanding!!! Now, does anyone know how I can cancel this contract?????

I have this phone for about 20 months. Presently this phone is a great bargain considering its features. The problems that I have with this phone is that the joystick is still working but not very smoothly, speakerphone volume is very low and biggest problem is that after a few months the connecting jack got dirty that is it got carbon. 1st time i got it cleaned up under warranty. After 1 or 2 months the problem reappeared. I had to connect the charger several times or clean the jack with alcohol to get the phone charged. Today I got the jack changed but still I am not satisfied with it. I cannot connect the phone to pc due to this and I think that Sony could have done better with this flimsy jack.

i have had this phone for 2 years now, and its great! no problems everything works fine. this phone can only hold up to 5 songs max you will need a 1-2gb memory to hold more songs.

The phone was awesome until the other day when it just didnt load up. it got to the sony ericsson screen and then just froze. it wont turn off and wont load any further. is it only my phone that has done this and can you offer me any help please? much appreciated.

hi , i m using k750i , frm more than a year, and to be frank, i just love my phone, as if i got some relation, into simple words, "i feels uncomfortable with out my cell phone" the reason behind this is, this cell phone was gifted to me by my dad, and ,,,, a long story behind my like to this phone is once it happen tat, my cell phone,s display was not working properly and i was facing alot of problem, and its cost to repair was very high as per my pocket money, after some days, my freinds and i was out in a park,for fun, sooo maa buddies as kidding thrown me in a tank full of water, and the my k750i was in my pocket ,all the thing was the water in my phone, BUT TO MY SURPRISE later cell phone again was alrite as if its again taken a new birth with a good display, the display was ok , after it was into a water then it was normal, and again ,,,,,,,, in theatre, the phone was fallen by mistake in a basen full of water, lolzzzzzzzzzzz then also , its working , wow its like lucky to me its a good phone buddies, u may build up a serious relation ship with it, ,,,

This phone is good. Got it in Sept 05' served me very well till now (Nov 07) Managed to stay in good condition and not break until now (though not completely unusable), sturdy design. Lots of great features , 2MP Camera with lens cover to protect it from dirt and scratches (Tends to slide open on its own at times, causing the camera to kick in when you don't want it to, this is just a minor gripe and doesn't happen often. Screen scratched quite easily, but you can buy a pack of 10 screen protectors for around £3 on eBay, which I did. The joystick worked for around 1 year 11 months then started to become unresponsive. Great phone though all in all, easy to navigate, easy to find whatever you are looking for, very customisable, expandable memory, video recorder, Bluetooth, Infrared, Poly tones, MP3 tones, Picture messaging, EVERYTHING that you would want. Now that its packed in by displaying an "Insert Sim" message intermittently I am going to get the W810i walkman p hone, great becuase its not really a change, but its just a little easier to navigate, slightly better build quality but same great firmware. Don't take the phone breaking as a sign of it being bad, its great had it for over 2 years and it has been through the mill, so its a great phone! 4 stars because the joystick can be annoying.

I've owned this phone for just over a year now. for features and functionality this phone is great. i've found durability to be a serious issue, however. after around 7-10 months the vibrate function stopped working. Battery life was never great, but has degenerated to the stage where on full charge it will run out despite little use in around 2 days. i also find other phones on the same network to get better signal than this one. My old phones i replaced because they were becoming archaic. this will be replaced because it has become too annoying to use, a shame.

i have had my this fone 4 less then a year and it has not lasted one day it just decided to not work i had not got it wet or anything i took it to the phone shop to get it repaired and the man said it luks like waer damage but it definelty wasnt. i am currently waitin for it to be repaired but my friend had the smae fone and she tryed to get hers repaired and it just kept breakin personaly i think there is a fault wif sony ericssons and you just have to be realy careful with them

I have 4 words.THE K750I IS AWESOME!!!It may not be as good the K850I but is better than my mates phone the Motorola L6,my other mates Samsung E250 and my best mates D900.The camera is dudey,the radio actually works and the battery is brill!!!I would reccomend it to anyone!

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!!! I got myn bought for me on 17th May (My bday), and ever since that day i have regretted changing my phone! It's still under warranty so i will be returning it this week! > After the first week it was FULL of scratches! > The camera claims to be a 2 mega pixel, tbh i would rather have bought a camera! The images come out blurry, grainy, shocking! > When you have taken a photo and want to upload it onto the computer it will cut out and make you start the uploading all over again, PLUS making your comp freeze and then you have yo re-boot that too! > The battery life is poor > One morning i went to turn my phone on and it just gave me a white screen, then 2hrs later i tried again and it gave me a white screen but vibrated! Then the next day i turned it on and it worked fine! what the ............! you get the idea! > The joystick gets stuck, its so easy to make errors with the small fiddly keys So overall, in my opinion, worst buy of the year! ... So im returning it this week for the Samsung D900 Chrome!

This phone is a complete nightmare! I have just deleted all my pctures by accident which is really easy to do - just select your pictures stored in the phones memory and ask the phone to move the marked pictures to another folder - it gives you the option to move to the same location they are in and performs this operation without warning. Then when you ask to delete the pictures you think you ahve just moved it will also do this without warning. No safeguards in place whatsoever. The PC Suite package is ropey at best and I have had endless problems setting up picture messaging with virgin - I have yet to successfully send a picture message. The PC Suite does not give intelligent and useful manipulation of music and other files encouraging you to spend on one of the 'Walkman' models despite claiming mp3 usability. Not a good buy

This phone is brilliant for the first 3 to 4 months and i've had it for bout a year. but after that its just a world of the screen frezzing and the camera not woking and the joystick playing about and doing the oppisite to what i wanted the camera though is absoulotley brill when it works that is and the camera button breaks easy to if your looking for a decent phone for 2 or 3 months this is a good choice otherwise steeer clear

This fun is alright, as it has an average camera but its really boyish and honky. The camera can only work with a button and the button always sticks making it useless. The keys are tiny and txting is really hard. The worst thing is my Dad had to take it completely apart as the joystick broke and it meant I couldn't use it. My advice if your a girl AVOID!!!!!!

well i dunno wat 2 say really. Got this fone last year, pure class 4 bout 3 months. Now the joystick dont work 2 well and the screen keeps freezing. Its really annoying. Sony Ericsson are a class make but in futre not goin with the fone with a joystick. My advice 2 u, get fones without joysticks. Anywayz camera is gd quality and has all the latest softwere. Media player is a bit bad as it sometimes says playback failed on recentley added songs :( Sound quality is sik but it doesn;t go that loud :( its a good fone overall but sony ericsson could improve a little more on the joystik and loudspeaker. If u want music fones go for walkman fones, thats wat im stickin with in the futre. Camera go for cybershot fones. Honestly sony ericsson are a the best make, just this fone isnt there best. I have rated it 4 stars but is probs 3.5!! lol

I am writing this review as my mum has this phone. She bought it for £80 approx and she got everything a W810i has - apart from the memory. One good thing though, is the memory card slot which mens, if you buy a memory card, you can have more space to store things on. As well as this, this phone is not a walkman and doesn't have the music player the W810i. This is the main thing that makes this phone cheaper than the W810i. As I have the W810i, I still think that this is a better phone iof you have the extra money. But, overall, this phone is really good for the money and very easy to operate - an ideal first camera phone.

Had this phone for about a year now, the longest i have ever had a phone. Brilliant camera with a sliding protective sheet on the back of the phone, easy to connect to the computer via bluetooth or USB. Very fast sharing via bluetooth. Music quality is brilliant, and has a very good memory. Overall it is a very good phone and i would reccomend it.

really excellent phone. I've owned mine for 2 years now and the only problem was the joystick sticking, I sent the phone back to kuehne-nagel logistics who fixed it free, despite not being under warrenty! It is a rock-hard phone, I have dropped mine several times (once from a moving bus!) and it worked fine up to the other day when I cracked the screen on a table edge :-(! The sliding camera cover offers dust protection and the camera always takes excellent photos. enough said!! its awesome despite being superseeded....

Initially had a lot of problems. It would loose signal with BSNL network in India. A very common problem. Got the phone changed and now its working fine. Now I've flashed it to a W800. The hardware of both phones is same. Recomended for all 750 users.

Had this for about 10 months now. At first it was an amazing phone, couldn't think of anything better. Then the camera broke. I Had to send it back 4+ times, as it kept breaking. Nevertheless i carried on using it. When the camera was finally fixed everything seemed to be ok but the joystick is wobbly, and sometimes even awkward. The screen is ok but does scratch quite easily - Maybe i'm just clumsy. The bluetooth is ok but completely drains the battery, and would be far better if you could do other things whilst sending. It is very awkward to carry around as it is chunky, and Is quite embaressing to pull out of your pocket. Also, I find that the games aren't great even though this is not a big feauture for me. The MP3 Player on the other hand is excellent, It holds many songs in a playlist. Overall, I don't suggest you get this phone.

I've had my k750i for a year now and the joy stick has broken, all my files delete themselves and the speakers have broke. When I first got the phone it was really good but went down hill after a year. Would not recommend this phone to anyone!

well ive pretty much only just bought this phone and i think its brilliant for its money that you can buy it for nowdayz.. ifeel its more for the younger generation bcoz of the features.. i love the fact that i can go on the internet really easily and download my own personalised wallpapers music etc. reallly it make the phone better if you go with the right company like i am with 02 and it jus makes it more brilliant as they give you free internet surfing time etc the camera is exellent specially for when your out with your friends and like taking pictures of randum funny times and the fact that they come out outstanding is even better! also i love the look as its nice and sleek and is a good size rather than them phones you get that either you would lose in your pocket or that will make you look like you have a 10 tonne brick in your pocket there is not a bad word i could say about my phone the only thing i could say is you cant reALLY edit your pictures as its qu ite tricky to work out but that isnt even a problem thats just something i cant do so i think people should buy the k750i its practically the same as the new walkman phones but the walkmans have jus got a fancy name lol!!

you've got to be dum to be able to find a fault with this phone. It copes well when you drop it and is easy to use. I could go on about the other brill features but i don't have time. I do recommend it to more boys than girls though, because it doesn't look very girly (thats if u are bothered about its looks) BUY IT, IT WONT LET U DOWN!

I did like this phone, especially the camer which takes great pitures, but it has started switching itself off for no reason! The battery may be fully charged, and it will just switch itself off. Very annoying as I keep missing calls because of it.

I have had this phone for about a year now and its been very good. Its easy to use and it doesnt have all the cocky bits that over phones have which is nice. It has been dropped in a pint and a glass of wine and still amazingly works. Fantastic phone. I am upgrading now to the new sony ericsson as the signal and hearing people over the phone is becoming a problem but this phone has been an absolute star! I will never go back to a nokia in my life.

ive had this phone since may 2005, and it has only just failed me, which i am franckly amazed at, since 3 days after i got it, it survived a fal from a 4th story window, with only slight cosmetic damage to the base. it has been though a lot more since then. the battery cover is cracked, the camera slider has 3 dents in it, theres no paint left on the joystick, the sides are chipped and scratched... the list goes on. the phone its self is amazing. its fast, efficient, the battery life is superb. the camera is good, however i am dissapointed with the video resolution and quality (this is the main reason i want a new top spec phone). i had some gripes with it when i got it. you cannot insert birthdays onto the calander, instead you have to add them to a contact, which i found irritating. theres no "repeat" option in the calander either, so meetings you have same time every week have to be put in, every week. i never used it for the music features, so i cannot comment on them, but the video editing is useful to cut out lengthy waits before and after the action you are filming. (i used the video more than anything else on the phone). there was also no unit converter on the phone when i bought it. 1 trip to google sorted this problem. it is very easy to install java software onto the phone (ive put about 20 apps on it), and the drag and drop computer interface is easy to use. the reason the phone failed is usual problems with SE's. the dodgey joystick failed, and the 2 button was tempermental at best. the casing is impossible to get off without spcialist tools, and so much dust gathered under the screen it was unreadable in any bright light. i tried the "suck it out with a hoover" trick, to no effect. i never took my phone off silent the whole time i owned it. purley because it never left my pocket. all in all, great!

My son bought one of these and it lasted 6 weeks before freezing and stating 'inactive sim'. The only way to turn it off was to remove the battery. It went away for a couple of weeks to be repaired and guess what? 2 days later, back to square one again. It's now been changed for a Samsung which he's very happy with. It may have been a rogue phone as he's had other Sony Ericssons and he's had no problems with them.

I have never use Sony Ericsson before, my usual previous cellphones were mainly Nokia because of it durability and long battery life. My two cellphones were stolen. But I discovered something special to Sony Ericsson that are amiss in some Nokia model but with Nokia products having higher price compared to the Sony Ericsson Products, the latter have good Photo Media and other related facilities. In fact, it is a good products to some of us that taste for fashionable cellphones with good quality. Being low income earner and having knack for Sony Ericsson, I bought Sony Ericsson K750i 2 weeks ago. The Cellphone really impressed me. It's a good phone.

I have now had this phone for a year and it is still yet to let me down, not only was it worth the money in value, it still competes with the lateset phones out. It is still in great condition, is a sturdy phone and does everything you could want. The only imporvements that could be made is the memory card holder which is very tacky and feels like it's about to fall off & some better ear phones cos they break so easy!!

i had it for less then 3 months and wat a load of rubbish its now won't work and on repair. if u are reading this do not buy don't read the other reviews they work for sony its is eay and good at first but i left mine on the side for alarm when i wake up but when i saw it in the morning a flashing white screen had appeared and has never worked i have done everything and now i got to wait till i can afford a new one and it will not be made by sony ericsson ever again i give it 1 star but i'll rate it a half

This is a great mobile phone!!! My last phone was the LG KG800 (Chocolate) and this phone has more bettr features! My previous Sony Ericsson was the V600i, ol boy have there been changes. (good changes). Fantastic mp3 player and easy to download games. This is so easy to use and I would highly recommend it.

I've had this phone for a year and so far ive had no trouble with it. the only thing is, is that after some time the camera quility gets worse, not too bad that you can't see anything though. The memory is reasonable on itself without a memory card. the best thing about this is that it is the strongest phone ive ever had. i dropped it so many times i cant remember! sometimes it freezes then turns off which is inconvinient. But i dont know if some things wrong with my computer but it doesn't identify my phone???!!! Overall i think this phone will be absuolutely perfect for fisrt time buyers. but not for the ones who are 'experienced' with phones. Happy phone hunting :)

i got this phone 3/4 months ago from a tmobile shop when i went onto contract, since march i have had to spend godness knows how much travelling on the bus backwards and forwards to my local tmobile shop because of this phone, 1st the buttons decided not to work at all, then the phone froze then i was unable to text because instead of me getting a 'O' i would get 3 'M', now the camra dosent work when i push the panel down at the back, i am fed up with this phone and i wish i had never got it, i was also told this is an old phone and should not have been offered it at tmobile. i would definatly say DO NOT get this phone if you are thinking about it! its more trouble than its worth!!!!!

mmmmmmmmmmmmm.... Not a bad phone . I love it. but it really has alot of problems such as ttaking a long time 4 loading from mem.card. And the 2M .crazy i dont think it's good qualities. It has dots and colors blinking. of course the screen size is rather smaller than the other phones at this cost.

i have this phone and i have had i since christmas 2006.... im now waiting for a nokia 6288 because when it was in my pocket it got a little tiny bit wet and a black mark came up on the screen then about 2 months later i dropped it on carpet when i was sat down and the screen has blurred even more... people text me and i ccant see hte screen... its very fragile (well mine was....) because i had my phone insured i am now getting a nokia...for £30.. so overall i think my phone was ok ish

Good phone, loads of options along with, alarm, calculator, calendar, task, notes, HP print, world clock, timer, stopwatch, light, radio, MP3 player, pic and data storage, camera, web access, games, remote control, bluetooth and infra red. Good battery, lasted full 10 days abroad with minimal use & switched off during day without recharging. Very good value for money and £20 trade-in reduction in price with 02 annoying factors: can't turn off the camera noise even with silent mode earpiece for music doen't have the standard connection it doesn't alert to new texts if phone is left on the credit balance screen after sending a text message. Overall: I'd buy again at the moment as it's still one of the best value but if better versions were cheaper I'd buy them as I know the P990i allows the camera noise to be turned off. The text problem annoys me as I often leave the phone on the desk whilst texting and then forget to ok the balance screen when I return resulting in no alerts for all subsequent incoming texts until I re-check the phone and realise.

I got this phone for Christmas, and was really impressed! The battery life was quite good and the features on the phone was quite impressive. The buttons are easy to use when texting, and the camera quality is good. The only downfall is that the screen can scratch quite easily, nonetheless this phone is a must have!

I've only had the phone since christmas. so far i am really impressed with the camera because the quality of the pictures are magnificent but i am not as impressed with the mp3 player because it doesnt hold that many songs which is really not so good. Another small problem with it is that every time i try to synchronise my phone onto the computer never works and i wish it was a bit less complicated. One more thing i have to say about the phone is that the battery life is really good and it is easy to access the media player.

Really good phone for the money. Does everything. Camera is great. Realy easy to use. A excellent phone for the cash because of its abilities. Can some times have a slow interface. Can not have the headphones for listening to music and radio as it acts as a antena and the charger in at the same time. My Sony Ericsson K510i doesn't have much memory or a memory card holder so I can only store to a max of 6 songs. I don't think the camera is very clear but it's ok. It has Bluetooth and Infrared.

not too bad as it has some good features and a decent memory however as i have had mine for over a year now the joystick is extremelyslow and unresponsive. another problem is the camera, although a great feature to start with it now does not work. this is because the shutter has been broken coming in and out of my pocket. Overall this is a good phone but i will not be getting another SE as i have heard that these problems are very common

i have one of these phones, and it was brilliant for about 6 months and then the scroll joystick thing become very stiff. i have now had it for a year, and the other day i took it out of my pocket and the screen had gone all white. it is now completely non-functional. my brother in law also had the same phone and he had exactly the same problem. first half of the keypad stopped working (3,6 and 9, so he could only phone numbers without a 3 6 or 9!) and shortly after the screen died. also a friend of mine has the same phone and the screen has cracked. to some it up, this phone has a lot of handy functions such as the expandable memory, and also the software is very easy to use and the phone is generally quite user friendly. just dont expect it to last any longer than 6 months!

I have to say this is a very nice phone to have.... i got my very first sony ericsson last year and didn't regret getting it. It is quite an astonishing piece of mashinery, i have had this phone for quite a while now and i haven't been dissapointed in any way...except when that time when i was browsing my phone when it suddenly turned off but after that it didn't happened anymore. Also the amazing thing about it, is that you can change the amount of memory you have by buying a new memory stick. The sound is very good, and the best thing about is that you can zoom in your pictures and save it as it is. It is a truly amazing phone!!! =] :) :D

Have had this phone for over 2 years now, and must say am thoroughly disappointed. It packed up after 6 months, The cursor stopped working, it started acting all crazy. I bought it when it first came out, and it was one of the more exepnsive phones. Its possibly my biggest waste of money.

Alrighty, then. I know every one else commented in 2005..over 2 years ago now! I just want to say I've had this phone since it first came out in 2005, and it has been the best phone I've had so far. When it came out, the camera was far superior compared to any other on the market and I still know people who want one! Ok, it may be down to the fact that it's cheap..but it's a good phone! The only reason I'm changing it now is due to the fact that it's reached the stage of turning on and off unexpactantly, saying insert sim and going white. To begine with though, it was a dream. I'd previously had a SE so the texting and keypad/joy stick thing were good to me. The battery still lasts a week (even with bluetooth constantly on, making a few calls and texts) and the battery life was even better when I first got it. I will honestly be sad to let this phone go - I'm getting a Samsung d900i in a few weeks. But I'll be keeping it as a backup. I would still recommend buying it if you don't need a 3-5 megapixel camera on a phone. The only reason I am moving from SE to Samsung is the current price of SEs and I would buy the k800i but with the k810i already out and the k850i coming out soon, I know it will be outdated soon. Although I may well move back to SE.

I really liked the phone the first couple of months that I had it for. U can get a wide range of themes online so you could really personalise the phone to how you like it. The camera is good (has a flash :)), you can connect the phone to your PC with ease and the battery life is excellent. HOWEVER - I'd think long and hard before I get a sony ericsson again. The main reason being that I had to replace the charger 3 times as it kept blowing (nothing to do with how I was using it, I promise!), at nearly 20 quid a go this worked out quite expensive. Then after about 3 months the phone started to switch itself off very often (especially when left in my bag, which was really useful!). I still have it as the functions and the applications on it are very good. I may have just had a duff phone and bad luck with the chargers. But it has put me off getting a sony ericsson again. Hope this helps!!

This phone is without a dout the best phone iv ever had iv never kept a phone longer than six months befor. They just never seemed to work properly but as soon as i got this i knew i could keep it. Iv now had it for a year and it is just so easy to use and never breaks.Although i craked the screen and dented the camara cover i replaced the facias and it was just like new. The phone looks gd once ur used to it and although being quite big is a reli easy size to use. After not turning it off for three months it started to slow down and freeze up but after restarting it was perfect agen. Best phone iv ever had will never move away from sony ericsson.

I had this phone for 5 months or so its a excellent phone i have not had any problems at all with it before the k750 i had a k700 again a very good phone before i changed to the k750 the microphone want so no one can hear you speaking on it thats the only one problem i have had with Sony Ericsson K750 nice bottons i think the joy stick is a bit small it sticks sometimes i dunno why that is??. it is a very good cammara 2 mega, with a very good night mode with light and flash all in all a very good phone go and buy it very pleased i would buy my next phone again which would be a SE....

I have had 5 phones in the last 4 years, and believe me, this is definatly the best yet. I have no complaints at all. The pictures are sharp, the colours bright, it's easy to use, a nice size, I could go on for ages. This really is a step up from the Motorola Slvr I had before. I took that back after 2 days. And I'm very glad I did! Outstanding phone.

I find this phone really good, much better than the previous phones i had. The battery lasts a lot longer than previous mobiles i purchased. The camera is very good quality and filming is clear too. Had one of these a while back and whilst it was a pretty nice phone to use, the reliability was poor. My main gripe was the joystick, which was forever packing up, meaning the phone had to be returned at least twice. Thankfully it was a contract one so this wasn't too much of a problem, but my then provider refused to swap it for a different model or make. They got binned along with this poor quality mobile some months ago!

Had the phone for 1.5 years. The joystick stopped working properly after 6 months. Now it doesn't even switch on any more. Checked battery etc... but not luck. Overall I liked the phone except for the joystick. Great battery life.

I had this phone for a week and I love this phone! Before this, I'm using SE K300i. I love the feature for concurrent birthday reminder like nokia phone, but sad to say can not be edited to schedule the reminder time. Alarm and message ringtone are limited, just can replace 1 ringtone at a time other than the default one.... The speaker function quite troublesome, it's easy to access when you are dialing(just push one button), but when you are receiving call, you have to go to More to turn it on(2 button push). WHY sony can,t make it easier, just one button to push for speaker just like nokia???? About the battery, not so lasting compared to my K300i, it only can last about 2 days compared to 3-4 days for k300i. But I like it cos can charge the phone from USB port. Connected to the PC for transferring files and picture is easily without even read the manual. Just install the software, and get connected.... But not to my liking, why don't sony bundle all the software for one time installation only, you have to install different function to make it all work. For me, Sony just need to separate the adobe reader installation, others should be bundle togehter.... Honestly, overall I like this phone a lot. It's very quick to access to all function in a menu, unlikely nokia is quite slow.... TQ.

This is a good phone but it breaks quite easily! My friend had this phone and within days the joystick started to move about on its own. it also start to delete stuff!!:( i wasnt happy to hear that because i just went to buy this phone!!

I have only had this phone a little while and I think its brilliant. Nokia 6230i must be rubbish compared to this phone. Sony Ericson k750i-loads of cool addable accessories (e.g.MXE 60 flash to enhance the brilliant 2 megapixle camera,Portable speakers to plug in so that you can hear your music tracks out loud with brilliant quality ). FM radio also very good. Can also take loads of damage.For £70 its a bargain.

I have had the phone for a year now, I think its a really good phone... The only technical thing i found wrong with it was the fact that when you recieved a text message when the inbox was full... sometimes that text was lost even after you deleted some of your other ones... =s but it does warn you plently of times if your inbox is over 95% full! ^^ Umm the only other problem is that it scratches fairly easily but i havent broke the screen and its been through alot... Ummm all around the joystick and in the screen dust is sometimes attracted. Other than that this phone is great... its quick, smart, easy to use, the predictor text is THE best! and the camera is good! I love it...its a shame i am getting a new one... i may go for the SonyEric W850i or the nokia N70 (but i hear this is slow...)

I agree this is a really good mobile phone! The predicter text is the best around and the picture quality is good! BUT I also agree that it does collect dirt around the joystick and in the screen and dent easily. Also when the text memory is full and you get another text, it asks you to delete some but the it takes ages for the text you recieved to come through if it comes through at all... But i honestly do love the phone!!!

i am a samsung fan and i thought this phone looked cool so i got it...ive had it since christmas 2007 and for the first couple of months it was great & my friends were all jeslous about the camera shield but now im getting bored of it and i think im goin back to samsung (the E900 looks so awesome and will have tht in a couple of months) overall i wood say this is a great phone to start but not enough memory and not enough entertainment to keep u entertained for more than a couple of months (PEACE)

Trust Me Do NOT Get This Fone.Why? Its good when you first buy it but after a while the picture qauility goes...the earphones break(i had three replacements)....dirt gathers between the little dent thing at the bottom of the phone and makes it look dirty....this also happens at the joystick and it is impossible to get the dirt out....the video quality is absolute in need of some serious work....my 2 year old samsung zv10 had better qaulity!...the joystick starts to stick and makes it impossible to navigate....the phone seems to get scratched from anything(ive never EVER dropped it)....it also starts to freeze and slows donw considerably....this was such a surprise for me as i am a huge fan of the se phones and this was my 4th and i never had any problems like this with the others...I would recommend gettin the W850 as i did(one of the best fones i have ever used as i am a music lover) and alo if you love takin pictures i would recommend gettin the k800. This Fone Is Lucky Im Even Giving It 2 Stars(its only because it was gud wen it started out)

I've had this phone twice now. The first one got trodden on by a very heavy horse. The screen broke but that was all - I could still download stuff and connect it to the computer and I could still make calls - I was very impressed that it didn't totally disintegrate. I bought the same phone as a replacement and am very happy with it. good quality pictures, good internet and bluetooth connection. I couldn't ask for a better phone!

I got this phone in march 07 its has been extremly reliable im a bit clumbsy and have dropped it about 20 times and still works fine ,only thing is it scratches fairly easy the battery is good i recharge it every 5-15 days good camera but you do have to fiddle around with settings to make it look just right .another thing isthe volume is pretty poor its ok if your own your own but if your in a place with like 4+ people you cant hear it very well. If your considering buying this phone i sugest you check out the samsung E900 same quality same price but sleeker in design.

A very good phone, but recently it has become unreliable. It had always been prone to crashing, but tends to do so a lot these days ... the shutter butten rarely works, which basically leaves my camera useless, and the joystick is very unresponsive.

No good for GPRS data. Bought one of these phones via phones 4 U on vodafone and topup. But will not connect remote device to internet via bluetooth. Experienced engineers have spent many hours via vodafone help but it seems there is some reason that its impossible to connect. you can get to vodafone live and google but not to the sites we need. its the only reason i bought this phone so has to get a very bad rating as it does not work for this purpose despite what it says on the box.

Quite simply this is the best phone I have ever owned. It has everything needed and the 2mb camera is excellent. I dare say there are even better phones out there these days but I havent seen one yet. Bargain at £75 quid ! Oh and I used to be a Nokia only fan !

I am was happy when i purchased my K750i last december but since things have gone wrong. Including the gyro menu stick has a tendancy to freez and the camera on the phone doesnt work, which is bad news because it is all internal damage. This is a big problem with the phone because the cameras main priority is the camera.

Had the K750i last year & was really happy with it, could'nt fault it at all, went on to contract in January & got the samsung d900, was really pleased with that aswell untill the last few weeks when everythings gone wrong with it, so gone back to the K750i, boyfriend had pinched the sony so have pinched it back lol!!!!!

This is one of the best phones I've ever had. I found that the battery life is really good, and it is really easy to use. The camera is great with a really good flash. Only downside is that it doesn't really look as good as some of the other phones out now but it does have all the features you need and more. A great all round phone.

ive had this phone 4 ages and it has never crashed, frozen, or done anything wrong!! with an easy to use menu it is simple and easy to find whatever you want!! memory cards expand upto 4 gb so its great as a phone and an mp3 player!! ive got a 1gb memory card and can hold about 200 songs!! its a great buy and now they are realy cheap!! well done sony ericsson!! :D

i do like this phone. although it is a couple of years old, it still has all the features of most modern phones. the camera is exellent, and the slide cover on it is very useful for keeping it clean, and useful for quick snaps(it automatically goes to camera mode when slider is open).overall, this phone has most gimmicks and gizmos that are needed, however i am not too sure about the durability of it, as mine is fairly new.

Has anyone else had the problem when attempting to type "I've"? It comes out "H've" by default and changing it is awkward especially since my control stick has very little control (and it's not because I have fat fingers. In fact someone commented recently on how small my hands were). Anyway, it's driving me up the wall. There are a few other problems, most of which have been mentioned in other reviews. I'm looking at Nokia phone's now.

Its a very good phone and i like it alot. There are loads of functions and cool stuff to play with. The phone is very robust so if i drop it, it doesn't break. Joystick can be a bit fiddly especially after lots of use. Had my k750i for best part of two years and i still think its good. great phone.

Bought this phone 4 weeks ago after being persuaded by a friend that it's fab. Sorry but it turned out to be the most annoying phone I've ever had. I agree with previous reviewers re the interface being sluggish. Sending short texts was fine but longer texts would only send partially. (only talking bout couple of text pages here not huge epitomes). Phone froze on me and wouldnt even switch off so had to take battery out. I've never had that before but my friend said it happens to hers too and I'm baffled as to why she thinks this normal or acceptable? My previous phones required only my network provider's settings for WAP and MMS. This one needs sony settings as well. I found this out by accident when my phone wasn't working too smoothly I requested O2 to resend WAP settings to my phone to see if this would help. WAP browsing worked fine but could neither send or recieve MMS. Yes I managed to put it right but what a palaver! It seems when O2 resent the settings it c ancelled out the sony bits. Why? It never happened to previous Samsung or Nokia phones when having WAP settings resent. I was irritated by the fact that you could only copy music from PC to phone via the software provided. Whether the software is easy to use or not isnt the issue for me. Why can't you simply drag and drop files directly onto the memory card like my current and previous phones? The final straw was when I wrote a text to a friend and tryed insert a number from the phonebook which worked like a dream with previous phones but (when looking in the seemingly obvious places) seemed an impossible task with the Sony. To be fair if I'd spent a bit more time looking in the sub menus the 'insert number' bit would have been in there somewhere but quite frankly by this time I'd had enough and GAVE it away. Good points? It's got a decent camera and video capture but no better than other similar priced phones on the market. It's quite robust too because it didn't actually b reak when I threw it! I've now got a Samsung and apart from initial teething problems like getting accustomised to it's functions it's working like a dream....

ive had this phone quite a while now but its been great for what i wanted, ive nether had probz with it, the bluetooth has allways been able to transfer files and the infared is perfect, the camra is a great camera there is better though bujt this is good for a mobile, well i just say i recogmend this k750i its cheap now and has awsome features

Worst phone I ever had! Lots of nice stuff in it but wouldn't make a phone call. Rarely picking up a signal anywhere, I got so annoyed, I threw it on the wall and brought the pieces back to the shop.

Phone was great for the first 6 months, great camera, adress book, then it all went wrong! First one of the 'select' buttons stopped working; then the joystick wouldn't toggle left or down, and then the top row of keys '1' '2' and '3' stopped working! Because it was a gift (no receipt) and pay as you go, couldn't do much about it. Decided to get a new phone, signed up to a contract and low and behold the bloody thing started to work again! Not sure what to do now, there is obviously a loose conection somewhere. If I send the new phone back, which incidently is an older model, my K750i will probably go wrong again. At this point I'll mention the fact that a friend has had exactly the same problem with theirs and is currently on his 3rd handset!

Have had this hone since christma and i love it! I have dropped it quite a few times but it is barely scratched....the music player is fab and i take far too many pictures! It has lads of extra features and is really esy to use - the menu is fab! Overall i think it is a brilliant phone!

Whatever you other people say, i do not mind, because it is ur opinion, but i am a massive fan of this fone. I love it, it is the second fone i hav ever had, so i understand there could be better fones out there, but for me, it is the perfect fone for hanging around wif my friends and stuff. Had this phone since christmas & it's excellent. Successfully transfers mp3 files & pictures to the phone. Also have got different backing themes from a mate. One of my favourite parts of the phone is the camera/video, its excellent ! Brilliant phone

Excellent phone, I've had about 10 phones in my life. This is the one phone I've almost been totally satisfied with. I say almost because of two things, these are: I wish it had a symbian operating system But more importantly, the camera auto focus quit working. It has gone back to Sony Ericsson multiple times, but still hasn't been fixed. Apart from this a fantastic phone. If the auto focus didn't start playing up I would have given this the five star rating.

well have this phone over a year now and have to say the phone simply rocks . the camera is excellent , way better than any nokia phone with same settings as of this phone , almost as good as a proper digi cam . the music features is excellent . overall worth more than money u pay for it . am glad didnt go 4 a nokia phone over this

Great phone. I had a SE w300i and I've gave it up for this K750i. The reason was getting a camera phone(for simple photos-keeping in mind I dont't carry my digital camera all the time). All I can say is that I have a 8.0Mp digital camera and at 1600x1200 it has allmost the same quality as this baby. If you have a little experience in tacking pictures with a digital camera, you can easily take nice pictures with this one. The settings are nice and very simple to use. The sound provided by the included headset is almost the same as the one provided with my X w300i, so no lose there.Nice battery life, very nice at everything. For the price I've paid in Romania 170 Euros, it's the best buy. Good phone, even thogh is somehow outdated! Buy it!

Phone is absolute bob, bought it from carphone warehouse on t-mobile and after 32 days later it shut off and wouldnt switch on. I then sent it away for repair with carphone warehouse as my 28 day cash back ran out and 3 weeks later i got a brand new sony ericsson k750i from carphone warehouse because they couldnt fix my old one. After 1 week of having this new k750i the number 2 button broke, i then took the phone back and asked 4 my money back they said no we will send it away 4 repair and i declined and got a new phone from them at the store [ my third ] i then sold this phone as fast as i could because its just too dodgy! the only good thing about it is the 2mp camera but even that collects dust easy on the lends.

This is an exellent phone! It has a number of usefull features,including:2 megapixel camera, blue tooth, infered and a radio. As well as all these features the sony ericsson is also an mp3 player meaning that you can store large amounts of music depending on what memory card you have.They range from 64mb(about 20 songs) to 2gb(about 450 songs).I would recomend the k750i to teenagers as it is a good,reliable phone that doesn't cost a lot. 14

Everthing in this mobile is fine. I love the support to upgrade the phone firmware version. Pros: FM Radio audio quality Cons: Joystick problem. I've changed it once and even after that it's not working properly. Music Player audio output is very low compared to FM Audio output.

the only thing i dont really like about this fone is the fact that the video DJ™ doesnt save your videos if theyre too long or contain too many large video files. its just annoyn when u spend about half an hour makn a video (with a soundtrack, text with a pic in the background) and the fone display says "action could not be completed". and the only other thing is that i sometimes get a message sayn "playback failed" when im in the middle of listenin 2 a song. other than these 2 things, its a great fone.

is is the most reliable phone you can get. It never crashed once. The battery life is excellent. I have played hours of java games on my phone with no problems or battery draining. I played 2 hours on my phone and battery only fell from 100% to something like just 90%. I thought of buying k800i but there were many problems with it its scratchy and the back cover keeps falling, memory is low very expensive £200 its like throwing it in the bin really. But this k750i is absolutely superb as my dad has the same phone. I got my phone in Red. Superb video you can take infinite video capturing and photos. Theres superb quality radio. IVE ALREADY STORED OVER 50 JAVA GAMES ON MY PHONE AND GUESS WHAT, I HAVE STILL GOT 24 MG OF MEMORY REMAINING OUT OF THE 120 MB. The only downside is that the backlight turns off after 20 seconds and I have to press a button to activate it again which is a bit annoying when playing a game of chess on my phone. But thats not what I call a problem as it saves my battery from draining. Its got a wonderful torch system you can listen to the radio withou t the need of sterio earings, great joystick navigation for gaming. Almost all games seem to work with this phone. I got Tomb Raider quest for cinnabar working when its a 6600 version and its full screen. I got games that don't seem available on this phone but work perfectly on it. AND THIS PHONE IS VOTED AS ONE OF THE BEST TOP 10 GAMING PHONES ON POCKETGAMER.CO.UK. THIS MEANS ITS SUITABLE FOR GAMES. NO WONDER I GOT OVER 50 GAMES WORKING HEHE.

SE K750i is one the best phone I've had ever!!! The radio is fantastic, loud and clear and I'm impressed of the colour screen!! Easy to download music, themes, pictures and ringtones from the internet with no problemo. This phone has everything, I brought for £90 which is a bargain cos I don't think this phone should cost that much, thats how good it is!!! I've been a sony ericsson user for over a year cos nokia lost the plot and they rule over any phones! I recommend you to buy this phone cos trust me if you love SE then this phone won't let you down!!!!!!!!

i got the k750i on in feb (this is April now)and i havnt had any probs with it so far.it is weird but i want another phone but i dunno why.i like the k750i but i get bored with phones and want more im 14 and i have had 16 phones.the last phone i had was the samsung s500i(never get it)but back to the k750i.good cam on it,its good u get a memory card with it the memory good wothout it but the memory doesnt go to waste plus which is very good its rock solid how many times i droped mine and it still goes on great.what i dont like boot mine is that i cant get access to internet,i wanted the silver k750i but was only avilible on vodafone so i got it on vodafone and unblocked it cause im O2 wen it gets unblocked everyime u get to the main menu it comes up a message sayin the graphics have been changed which u can live with but wen u cant download games n tunes it annoyin .overall good phone but if u want a silver one dont unblock it stay with vodafone(o2 best though;) )

Firstly I’ll say I’m no phone, camera or MP3 player junkie. I have used pretty well every make of mobile phone since they came out in the 80s and have been frustrated by them all. Like cars and anything else ... I need a piece of equipment to work and do exactly what it says it will, and to do it without fuss. I bought a K750i 6 months ago and I’ve finally found a phone that does that. I no longer need to carry a separate MP3 player, radio, digi camera and phone around with me. This does it all and does it well ... AND WITHOUT FUSS. Buying a 2Gb memory stick really make this phone a serious MP3 player. Sadly 2 months ago I dropped it in the sea (yes salt water). It lay there for a minute or so until I pulled it out. Needless to say it wouldn’t work when I switched it on and after a blasphemy I resigned myself to buying another. I discussed this with the phone shop who wanted to sell me a later model but I stuck to getting another K750i, because it had never let me down. The new one is every bit as good as the first one and what amazed me most is that the first one dried out in the gentle heat of an airing cupboard and works perfectly well, just as it used to. If I had known then that the K750i was going to be THAT good, I wouldn’t have needed to buy a second one.

This is the best phone u can buy. the camera quality is awsome,if u put any song as a ringtone,it will be the loudest, but the only drawback is that when we play mp3 normally it is not so loud and the display screen is quite small compared to Z710i otherwise its an awsome phone i recommend everyone to buy it noww..

i have this as a second phone, but it does get used 24/7. There seems to be some kind of nokia / se stand off here. i used a 6230i for a whileand this is a gr8 fone, but the screen was to small and the camera was just ok. The k750i has a good screen and excellent camera and is very relaiable, when u take into account the price tag of under 90 quid on pay as u go its got to be a bargain.

I have had this phone for about a year and i love it! It suits me, i know what to do easily, and everyone loves it!!! I always use Sony Ericson, and this has to be the best! All my mates have the new sony ericsons, but they all luv mine the best! That's a compliment to me! If you're looking for a phone, look no more - get the Sony Ericson K750i!!!!!!!

I live in the Fenland area of Cambridgeshire, have had several different phones over the years, but have never come across one like this with such an appallingly bad signal. Anywhere i travel in this region i continually get the 'emergency calls only' bar come up. I am very disabled and need to have my phone contacts reachable on a reliable and continual basis, but with this phone i get the opposite. My contract is with carphone warehouse and network supplier o2, and on this experience do not recommend either.

bought 1 of these, moved up from motorola e3651, and had my brand new sony Ericsson K750i about 6 months, was fine untill i plugged it into my pc, and it said it wanted updating as my usb port needed it to find my phone, so i did it, all was ok for about a week, then plugged it in to upload a few tunes onto it, and cudnt find it again on my pc, says update again, so i tried and tried again, then my phone died, plugged it into charger and plugged it in, now it wont turn back on at all, had it charging for 4 hours via wall charger, have taken battery out to make sure its in the right way(only goes in 1 way tho) took som card out, still wont turn on, i'm well p****d off, so now i'm gonna take it back to the shop and sling it at the sales rep who rated it...... sales advisors know nowt anyway, seeing is beleiving i say, well i seen it, had it and lost it now, god help the clown who recommended it to me, how can he sleep at nite knowing i cant phone anyone as my phone dont work fed up and p****d off unhappy customer called steve

An Incredible Phone For a very cheap Price!!!, 30-35mb integrated into the phone comes with a 64mb memory stick,512mb,1gig-2gig memorysticks are very cheap on amazon. Very Supportive say if you blocked your phone it would be very easy to unblock it. customer support is ok takes a bit to long to get through, You can install applications/Games of your choice like I have got a opera web browser and a few free games from the web on my phone It is great if you get o2 since they offer you some webspace to use so your credit dont go down,and you get one free game with o2 of your choice!!! So get the sony ericsson k750i with o2 you wont regret it. *****

this phone is rubbish dont buy it the joy stick broke 4times and the bluetooth doesnt even connect with any other phone except old ones. camera is messed up and auto fucus takes like 20secs so if you wanna take a pic make sure you wait 20secs before it.

This was my first sony ericsson, there are pro's and con's but overall it's a great fone, my best yet. The sound and picture quality is really good. But through no fault of my own had to send it to repair after less than a month because the backlight wouldn't turn off. I got it back but the problem was not fixed. I was very pleased with the fone overall, and think it's worth every penny.

I find this phone the best I've had to date, so much so that if it broke I'd want to get either the same or one like it if I could get one, I love the idear of being able to get more themes as well as the ones that are built in off the internet as well, you can also blue tooth the themes to other k series phones as well. You can get a bigger memory card off the internet on ebay and sites like that. The built in MP3 player is also great, you can also get off the internet adapters to plug into where you put the charger so that if you don't like the head set that comes with it, you can plug it into there and put any headphones that you like.

I have had this phone over a year now and i still like it as much as the day that i got it. It has great features (too many to list), and although there are now newer and better models, i have found only one small problem with this phone. The headphones are rubbish, but i bought a headphone adaptor from Ebay for under £3 and it works fine and i can now use whatever headphones i want. I would strongly recommend this phone - it comes with a USB cable and if you look on the internet, there is an almost unlimited amount of completely free wallpapers, themes, ringtones, screensavers, and games available for the K750i. If you decide not to get this phone, i would get another from Sony Ericsson because the customer service is great. Most companies try to reply to emails in under 72 hours but i had a problem, sent them an email, and got a straight answer back in just 7 minutes!!!

Excellent phone camera and video better than my old phone (Motorola E550)would have been better with a bit more memory but that can be treated with a memory stick (as far as 2gb) great sound and screen quality can lock keypad when in your pocket so the buttons don't press easy to transfer stuff to and from PC. great looking good fashion statement GREAT price. Radio good I could go on oand on but i am getting a bit bored. Overall, Outstanding!!!!! 10/10!!! =D

A good phone small and compact very good photo quality good mp3 player but i found battery life not very long if playing music ,the memory card is a bit fiddly to get out and put back in ,i dont like the joystick design of the conrol switch as you seem to flick for something and inadvertantly press the switch in and your on something else but all in all it is not a bad little phone for the price

One of the best phones I have used. The camera, radio and texting get more of a bashing than the talking bits. The phone through the S/E ear piece is superior to all others I have tried. Bluetooth through my Tom Tom navigator is also very good. Problem... what do I update it with?

ive had the phone for 3 months. im 14 and so far i have had 12 mobiles and this one and the nokia 6230 have been the best , beingthe reason why they are in the same class. ok the bad points about the phone the camera is slow when taking pictures on high resoloution this willresult in camera shake , second the battery ast for about 2 days if you use the camera and mp3 player and about a week on standby not even close to the 400hour stand by tme limit. good points high quality camera , good audio quailty and if yo uset the equaliser it can pack the punch n make the d500 with its speaker look liek a whisper. the screeen is bright and clear in any lighting , easy to use joystick. and for all you people who own a psp...whack in your 1gb memory card to the phone. you can still use it for your psp aswell which is what i have done. so all in all a extremely good phone i would recommend this phone over most of the walkman series as this phone has a very good autofocus.

Had this phone for a year now and it has even survived being run over by a VW Touareg 4x4 with nothing more than a few scratches! Easy to use, good battery life and a nice size, this will be a difficult one to replace!

Had the K750i for about a month, and finding it hard to fault. I nearly bought the 810i instead as the 750i's joystick looked like a weak spot and it is a bit fiddly if your nails are short. But it was an extra £50 to swap that joystick for the 810i's buttons, and the 810i doesn't have a camera lens cover. I did spend an extra £11 to buy a 2GB memory card on eBay though(that's the max for the 750i), and now I can store all the mp3s I've got, or take over 2000 full quality photos on the camera (or lots of video). FM radio/MP3 sound quality through the phones is excellent, and the display is good too. Battery lasts well. The calendar feature is weird: I tried to put in family birthdays, but found I had to put in an appointment time! Designed for business I guess. Forget the Sony software on the CD too. It's clunky, unintuitive, and so's their website, which had an aknowledged fault when I tried to upgrade the software online. I removed all the Sony software from my PC , and the phone itself still connects fine to my PC via USB(first time you connect it, just stick the supplied CD and point the 'Found New Hardware wizard' to the CD where the USB drivers are). Now I use drag & drop through Windows Explorer or My Computer to move stuff onto/off the phone. Easy and fast. I think the 750i IS now pretty much superceded by the 810, but that just means they are getting cheaper!

Brilliant phone when you first get it but then it crashes a lot wen sending things on bluetooth the battery lasts about 3 days and the volume is very poor and after about a year the joystick will break now i have to press up till i go back confusing but has all the features you need apart from 3g

I will never buy a SONY ERICSON AGAIN this phone i had a month and it cost me £100 and im only 14..The navigation went on it and so did the music player buttons.Also the battery sucks!It lasts about 4 hours..Never again..

I had this phone for 1 day and its brillant i put on about 50 songs with a 1gb memory stick. Usb connection was so easy and it has a clear screen with a great camera,but the video isn't that good.The battery life is hundreds opf hours and it recharge it self.

I had this phone to replace my S700 which i loved.. and i love this phone even more its smaller lighter and much better. Ive had no problems with it at all.. The battery life is fantastic and only usualy charge it every three days yet i talk for at least an hour a day. The memory isnt so bad either especialy with the memory stick. The camera really is superb. I actualy have a digital camera its only got 3 megapixels and the pictures that the K750 takes are actually better than the digital cam. I would be without it.. FANTASTIC phone.

It's a great phone, but suffers frequent problems with the battery compartment such as the cover being very awkward and gets stuck on often. This problem once occured when the phone froze (unexpectedly during making a call) and wouldn't turn off. To shut the phone down I attempted to remove the battery but found that it would not come off. Other than this problems, SonyEricsson has done another good job.

what a crock, multipin connector (charging/PC) doesn't engage properly, joysick awkward, memory cover useless as keeps opening and card falls out, list goes on and on, replaced after 5 months as constant crashing made me crash it permanently. overall such a heap of junk I'm determined not to buy anything sony branded ever again, guy i know works for sony told me the charging problem was an "old erricson problem". wtf? and you havn't been able to sort it? I mean, Thomas Edison made a working DC plug and socket over 100 years ago, can it really be so hard for sony to do the same? shoulda got another nokia and not listened to the phone shop guy.

i've had my k750i for 16 months. apart from getting dust under the screen and around the joystick, it's a great phone. i sent it back to sony to be cleaned but all they did was install new software, wiping all my numbers and games and not clean the dust out. it's a really easy phone to use and my 3 year old loves taking pictures with it. the case is looking a bit scratched now, but i prefer it to my new samsung d900 so i continue to use it.

I'm a motorcycle courier and bought my SE mainly for use on my bike. I have it linked into an Autocom System. I've had it about 6 months. Likes: Small, robust, quality feel to the keys, excellent features (I needed auto answer and voice activated dialling). Dislikes: Main one is that set to handsfree/autoanswer the ring tone doesn't sound in the headset. This means that when I'm riding and the phone rings I don't know because I can't hear it! This is a really annoying omission by SE as I'm sure it could have been easily included. SE-THINK BIKE! The other niggle is that the joystick is too easy to press when you are just trying to navigate up and down a menu. The press detent needs to be stronger. Overall, a very good phone let down, for me, by a couple of things that could so easily have been designed in.

bought this phone because i got sick of my v600i (great phone got bored of it though) and my initial thoughts were "well its a nice phone, bit quiet though", but i've since customised it a bit, put the firmware off of a w800i on it so its a walkman phone, changed the audio and camera drivers, so the camera is now alot better and the audio is louder and nice and crisp and customised the menu so it looks sleak :D, its a great phone but if you can learn to customise it without bricking it it goes from great to goddamn outstanding :D

Ive had dis fone since christmas 2006 n im lovin it. I have it in red and i think it is much better than the samsung D600 which has been given rave reviews. Although this fone is old i say it KICKS ASS!!!!

Brill phone upgraded from k700i and it is superb the camera quality is amazing with a great flash also it can double up as an mp3 player with 1 and 2 gig memory cards available enough for atleat 500 songs, plus it is great looking sony every time =)

Only had the phone a few days. So far have successfully connected to the PC for transferring MP3 files and pictures - after finally reading the instructions!!! The screen is superb the sound good picture quality excellent. But so far I like the fact that the battery is much better than my last phone E700 and 6230.

I have a nokia phone at the moment but i want to get the SE k750i because ive had my phone for a week and its allready broken (the butten itsnt working properly) and ive had a lot of trouble connecting to the computer. The rest of my family have SE phones and they have had no trouble what so ever with them.

I Have had the phone just over a month and it is outstanding.. the only real problem is that the paint work comes of really easily. The camera is fantastic if you like taking pictures the joy stick is a bit fidily but other than that it is a great phone.

This phone was great but the joy stick breaks after a few months and sony erricson will only replace it after you have sent it back 5 times. I gave up after 3 and just got a new phone. The camera is amzing but once the joy stick has gone, the phone is basically un-useable.

Less than a week old, caught in the rain during a call phone cut out within a minute - took it back to the shop who said it was full of water and useless - I can't believe a mobile phone is not shower proof - it is after all a "mobile device" and mobile usually means being out in the elliments. Sorry but Sony Ericsson should make a better effort to make a mobile phone for the mobile market.

I have that phone from a long time it is not perfect. I love its camera and FM radio but its joystick in bad and i replaced three times! and the second big problem that when you forget to recharge the phone's batery for three or four times the internal memory will burn! but the I am still on that phone because the N73 dispointed me I was hopping to buy it but my friend buy N73 it is good in every thing exept in making calls so N73 is not a phone!

I've had the K750i for a few months now. I have to say it has been a tremendous letdown, and I am now trying to find a replacement. The camera is of good quality but this is not enough to outweigh its other problems. For example, this phone takes between 1 and 2 minutes to turn on and usually freezes during the procedure. The thumbstick is small, awkward to use and uncomfortable. The body of the phone is rapidly scratched. The music button cannot be used without headphones plugged in. The interface is poor and the menu layout disappointing. Limited video support and poor audio quality hampers this phone as well. However, my main complaint is the speakers. The earpiece is too quiet to hear calls in relatively quiet areas, and a call I received whilst at Heathrow Airport I found impossible to hear at all. And, the loudspeaker is quiet and tinny, even when set at maximal volume, so quiet indeed that it is nearly impossible to hear your ringtone when in a noisy area. Overall a tr emendous disappointment from what I expected to be a phone typical of Sony's superb technological quality.

A bit late for a review but I really love this phone. I've had it for 1 year now and I think there's no way I'm gonna change to another phone. I've had this flashing white screen (white screen of death) for a month and thought it was all over for this champ, but then for a mere £7.99 I reflashed the whole thing, it used to be on Orange and I ended up with a debranded k750i with that lovely new menu and the latest firmware. The phone worked fine before now its on fire!! The k750i is the daddy of all mobile phones. My one is even louder than walkman phones too!!!

A great 4n. But ny enough memory whn compare with W800 and also headset is harder to use than W800's one. It has all the functions of it but not it's rich look. I think it's good to go for a W800. However this 4n also good when compare with foolish 4ns like D600...... Buy K750 of W800

Brilliant phone! Very easy to use, alot of features. Excellent battery life and Camera usable on nights out, light function as good as if not better then flash. Bought this phone yesterday. What can I say... its great. The sound quality is nice, the software navigation takes a minute or 2 to get used to but once you do its got a beautiful intuitive logic, it also allows shortcuts to be created. The screen is the first thing that strikes you, its large and is crystal clear. The camera is the best Ive seen for a phone in this range, Ive always been a bit of a camera snob, I used to dismiss phone cameras as a gimmick to get sales. And until now that was kinda true but the quality of the pictures from the k750i really holds up when compared to a dedicated digital camera. The pc to phone software worked like a charm and I transferred loads of mp3s and images onto it. texting is quick and responisive... overall a great phone that does everything better than well. Worth every penny

Easy to use, reasonable sound quality (poor speaker phone quality), excellent camera. Reasonably durable; I have dropped it many times without it breaking. Problems: at 1 year, the joystick stopped working, something which has happened to several of my colleagues' phones. Also, the charger stopped working.

really pleased for first few months on this phone....then problems occured. Switches itself off when working too fast through the menus, but main problem is with the joystick which is rubbish. Other than that, great funtions, good camera/video/MP3.

After only a couple of months the phone decided to die whenever it feels like it. Sometimes it runs for days and at other times you have to reboot 20times the same day. Cannot link it to any specific problem. Web site trouble shooting horrendous. Sometimes I think it would be easier just to chuck it in the bin - certainly less stressful.

ad this phone a few weeks now and it was on tesco but have had it unlocked for vodafone i bought it after my dog ate my k510 its much more than a phone its the dogs bol.... ive even found a web site with loads of free thems for it it even flashes if the cam cover is open the music quality is great video is brill it has every thing you could whant in a phone ive still yet to get the setting for some vodafone settings and its even possible to upgrade its functions to the w800i so they say.the only draw back ive come across is that i cant seem to inlarge the video capasity for longer recordings its menu is just amazing all i can say is buy one im well happy with it and ive had a lot of phones over the past few years sony have got this one spot on well done boys youve got me impressed eith this one lets hope my dog likes the ring tone as the jungle sound has something that hurts your dogs hearing ive tryed this tone on severl dogs none of witch like it one dog even tryd to rip my pocket open when it rang so i dont use that tone but it still a good fone

This phone is amazing!! I'll admit, I've only had it a couple of days, but i have been playing around with it for most of that time! In fact, i can't really think of anything else to do on it that i haven't already tried! And so far, nothing has disappointed me at all. the VideoDJ application is great, i have already made 2 videos. The camera is brilliant and the mp3 playback is good. This phone is easy to navigate, it feels comfortable in the hand, and is coolly (is that a word?) designed. It's made my mum hate her Moto RAZR and want a K750i! This is my first SE phone, and it has definately made a good first impression.

Its the first phone I've had with a decent camera and mp3 player so I like it. But I agree with some of the mroe negative reviews that complain about the number of keystrokes needed eg. When writing a text if you type in something not in the dictionary the whole screen displays this fact telling you "word not in dictionary" which leaves you wondering what button you accidently pressed and waiting to get back to correcting it. I'm still happy with it but give me 6 months of that and it could be sent flying out the window. That our my spelling will really improve.

Awesome phone, albeit with a few flaws. First off, the camera is brilliant, easy to use, high enough resolution for almsot anything you realistically need to do, and the autofocus generally works well. Flash is a first on a phone of mine, and it works brilliantly. I love the design of this phone, I can't quite put it into words but they jsut made it look perfect. This is my first Sony Ericsson phone, and I've just found out they have got to be the best phones on the market. The way the buttons and the system work is just perfect; logical simplicity, making my life much easier. A pretty great phone. Except.. The battery cover (small part on the back that can slide off) has a tendency to wear out it's runners: mine now slips off relatively easily, can't grip very well, and occasionaly goes on wonky. Also the take picture button (the only way to take a picture) has semi-broken on my phone; sometimes the button doesn't register a press at all, whereas at other times (about 35% of the total time) it won't hold autofocus: it's either waiting to focus, or taking the picture. However, on a good day the button will work perfectly, and give me consistently great shots. Also, yesterday I cracked the glass covering over the screen, but this is mostly irrelevant, as a tble landed on it, it wasn't as if it just happened in my pocket. A great phone, a technological leader (for the price) and a must-buy (unless you have a higher budget with which to buy the k800i, the k750's bigger brother). :)

I have had this phone for 14-15 months, and would expect any item which currently sells for £250+ to last wee bit longer than this. It has completely packed in today and is phoning numbers erratically. I cannot use the keypad or the joystick, or answer calls. My colleague informs me his did the same at 13 months old. Piece of old junk which is OK if you plan to upgrade every single year..

well i got the phone about a year ago now and it was brilliant for the first 3 months!then it broke!the phone just turned itself off and wouldnt tur back on again!was ragin!got a new phone out of it though but lost some of my numbers!then 4 months later the joystick decided one day that it wouldnt work!it had been messing before that but one day it just decided to totally give up and didnt move for two days in a row!!i took it back again and got it fixed for free again (24 months warrenty is a good thing).but now 4 months later again it is needing fixed yet again but im entitled to a new phone now because this is its 3rd consecutive time breaking.overall its a real good phone, good fun, good camera, and if you get a bigger card is good for music too. but the joystick technology needs something done!its a good phone when it works!!

This is a remarkable phone for a price of £100. The outstanding 2 mega pixel camera can take excellent photos and good quality videos. Bluetooth and infrared are included in this phone so you can always find a way to transfer data. GOT THIS PHONE JULY 2005 ON 18 MONTH CONTRACT. ETC. STILL 3 MONTHS OF CONTRACT TO RUN WITH NO PHONE SO NOT HAPPY PARTICULARLY AS THIS IS A PRIVATE PHONE WITH VERY MODERATE USAGE (LESS THAN 200 MINS A MONTH AND VIRTUALLY NO TEXTING).COMPARE THIS TO MY WORK NOKIAS WHICH ARE SUBJECTED TO MUCH HEAVIER WORKLOADS 1000+ MINUTES AND MUCH MORE SEVERE OPERATING CONDITIONS AND WHICH HAVE LASTED 3+ YEARS. THIS IS A PRETTY FEEBLE EFFORT FROM ONE OF THE WORLDS SO CALLED SUPERBRANDS.
WHAT CHANCE THE K800i BEING ANY BETTER? I WOULDN'T BET ON IT.

This phone is amazing! I just received it today and I love it already! The camera is exellent if you know how to use it, the video is fine and it has all the other must-have features such as Bluetooth, MP3 Player and 3D games. It doesn't have nor does it need 3G. It is a tiny phone so really good to go out with. The only thing I am dissapointed with is that it only comes with a 64mb memory stick duo, but you can always get a better one. If you are not sure about buying this phone, get it - you can't go wrong.

I have had two k750i's during the last year. They were fine for about 2 months until the joystick started to freeze up making the phone virtually un-usable, except for answering incoming calls (couldn't even use it to check what missed calls I'd had as I couldn't scroll up and down !!!). I claimed against my insurance for it the first time it became faulty but decided not to bother the second time as my contract had expired and so I just upgraded to a Nokia again on a new contract.

i have had th k750i for about a year now. it was fine for about 6 months until it started freezing! also dust kept gathering under the joystick and the keypad is badly glued together. its too much like the k700i as there isnt anything different apart from the camera and the games. i expected more from a sony ericsson that was 250 quid!! buy a nokia n70 instead!

hey pedro - you need to turn the phone to silent to take away the sound! hope this helps! well i have had this phone for nearly 12 months and i love it the only thing is i think it is too heavy and big also i have been having problems recently - the screen suddenly freezes and i have to take the battery out then put it in again to sort it! apart from that it is an amazing phone, since i want a compact light phone and i am not that bothered about lots of features i am getting the samsung E370.

The k750i is generally a very good phone. The main good features are its camera/video - v.good quality and the memory card included which holds 64mb comes in very useful for additional music and pics etc. However, one thing which does annoy me about the phone is the fact that you cannot take a picture on silent, the camera makes a fairly loud shutter noise every time you take a picture, which does get rather annoying when wanting to take a photo in a quiet environment. If anyone knows how, if possible, to turn off this shutter noise, i would greatly appreciate it.

I just bought it yesterday on T-Mobile.Fantastic. One day after i've got my favouite songs on it with my favourite pics of freinds and family from my PC. I recomend that you buy this phone. In my eyes it will beat the Nokia 6230 or 6230i anyday!!

I have just bought this phone as a second phone and what a phone it is! I am used to Symbian models and currently use my 6630 as main phone, but it is a bit bulky by todays standards so I got the K750i as an everyday phone. I started with W810 but took it back as it really has nothing different to the 750 and the price is a bit steep, bought the W800 but new it would look grubby in time, so settled for the 750 (Argos £120!!), the screen is great, the camera amazing and animated themes one in the pants over Nokia. The difference autofocus and light makes to a picture makes the 6630's look ancient (and that is a good camera too). The phone is the right shape and size and feature wise is very hard to beat, only the k800i and upcoming N73 can boast a better camera including autofocus. I will replace the 6630 soon when the N73 comes out, but the K750i still packs a punch into todays market over a year on.

Received this phone 2 weeks ago on the O2 upgrade as the O2 staff said how good it was. I was very pleased with the camera and sending pictures to the PC but I could not get it to acknowledge my sons phone on bluetooth. Had similar problems with people in work and found bluetooth was not working properly. Would not recognise some other phones and any it did recognise it would not send through supported images. Very disappointed in it.

This is definately the best phone I have ever had. I've had it since easter and I love it to pieces. The radio and light are amazing features. The sound and picture quality is fantastic. I would recommend this phone to anyone who is a fun person an dwants a phone with loads of features.

To be fair to the product it does have great features and delivers to my expectations. The problem i had was a faulty joystick. It would not move up or right, and the volume button/zoom key stopped working. Took it back to the registered service repair centre, they assured me that the problem was fixed. Got it home, played with it for a couple of hours and the same problems came back. Took it back again and was told that the phone had been replaced with a new one (i've since found out that 'new' is service centre talk for reconditioned). Reminds me of some slap up vacuum cleaner gig. Anyhow, upon trying to operate the 'new' phone, i discover that this one wont even turn on properly. Seems that the screen is frozen on a white background. Try it out several times. Charge it, leave it, turn it on, take the battery out. Nothing seems to work. So as expected, i return the 'new' phone to the service centre. They get a technician to look at it for hours. They decide that it may have been corrupt software and that my memory card is responsible (too bad i've never received any incoming data, just the factory settings and photo's taken from the K750i camera.) So anyway, i agree to take the phone home and use it without the memory card. It turns on okay, loads up. Oh but wait, the joystick doesn't work. Oh now it does. But then again... Nice! By now i've contacted Sony Ericsson several times. They've given me a case number, and i've spoken to a case manager. As the narrative continues, he assures me that 'one more fault and we'll look at a replacement unit'. Fat chance! I hate that movie Groundhog Day and that's what i think of when i call Sony Ericsson. All they can offer me is to keep taking it back to thier service centre. That's it. Apparently now i have to have many more issues before they even consider anything aside from me taking it in to get repaired. I've spent a load of my time, money and patience trying to get this thing fixed. Very over it now. Not to mention the fact that i've been without my phone for almost 2 months. The end result... I've just purchased a Samsung D600. Yep, a new phone only months after getting myself a pretty decent, and expensive K750i. Sorry for the rant but i just wanted to get that out there. I think it's poor customer service and absolutely criminal product accountability. A company as large as thiers should offer me far more.

phone has been brill! had it about 7 months now, and its never put a foot wrong,even when i got it soaked it worked fine when it dryed out. camera is the best ive seen on a phone and the sound and picture quality is amasing.only small problems i have had is the well known sonyericsson joystick problem (joystick has to be pressed really hard for it to work) but this comes and goes. The software can go mad sometimes and the phone flashes on and off but it dosent happen often enough to become irritating. BUY THIS PHONE!!! its great value for money now and does everything you could want and kicks all the samsungs and nokias ass!

this is an awesome phone, i've had mine for about 7 months now with only one problem which was that the camera stuck and so i couldn't take photos but the phone was replaced free of charge and haven't had a problem since!!! the camera quality is amazing, the ability to expand your memory is awesome as you can just put more songs onto the mp3 player and i love it to bits! planning to keep it for a long time as it is a perfect phone and just the right size to fit in your pocket unlike the Shark GX10 i had before!!! i seriously recommend this phone if you want awesome value for money!

This phone is about as intuitive to use as a lightbulb made out of
marshmallow. You know what you're supposed to do with it but still you're not convinced. I got this phone as an 'upgrade', an upgrade from a Samsung D500.. and this is where my big issue stemmed from.. I rang Orange
up and basically said that I saw it as more of a 'downgrade'. It's just not a great handset in comparison to what has gone before, and then it has its problems to boot - all of which add up to a big fat 'why bother'.
Texting, with the intuitive text, and the stiff, chunky keys - well it really is a labour of love, and personally texting went , overnight, from something I could do with my eyes shut, to something I could only do when
I was reeeeeeaaaalllllyy concentrating and when I could take plenty of time to make sure I had pressed the right button.. and knew who I was eventually sending it to. Also, I found the speaker - the bit I listened to when I had made a call, or been called, to be scratchy and not clear - all of which after the sublime elegance of the Samsung D500 came as a bit of surprise - how in 2006 you could still be sold a 'premium' handset
which was, in all honesty, a bit rubbish (in comparison) well it beggars belief. Sure the camera is good, but when the phone and the texting are not up to expectations you kind of don't care that it takes a mean 2 mega pixel picture.
I've arranged to send mine back now. It really is a disappointment, I wanted to like it, but it's difficult. I'm holding out hope for a papercup with a bit of string through the bottom.
PS. The ringtones.. why are all ringtones designed by deranged maniacs with a hearing problem?? These are no different!

I've owned 3 mobiles. A basic Sony - a better Nokia - but this phone is
something else. It has everything you'll ever need except WAP. Dead easy
to use - don't need the manual; you can work it out from the quality screen.
The battery life is superb and I love the camera and radio - stereo and RDS
Need I say more ? !!!

This phone is amazing and believe me I have owned so many phones that I have lost count and this is the best by far. Anybody giving it a bad
review must have either a faulty handset or just dont no a fantastic phone when they have one! The camera is great, transfering files to & from a pc via the usb cable is so easy to do, MP3 files sound great especially when listened to on the included headphones, texting is easy, games are quality & Id say the battery life is fine unless you play with your phone
constantly but then I dont!! I was going to buy the Nokia 6230i as my brother owns one but am so glad I didnt as the K750i is superior by far unless of course you want a very basic phone as all Nokia's still seem to be. If you want a brilliant phone packed with features for not a bad price then go for the K750i, it ROCKS!!

Another quality, reliable phone from Sony Ericsson. There are so many great things about the K750i, that it is impossible to list them all. Instead of this i have listed the main advantages and disadvantages of this phone over most other mobile phones.---- ADVANTAGES -----BELOW ARE SOME OF THE K750I'S MANY ADVANTAGES @ Very big and bright screen - Perfect for veiwing videos, photos, and for texting. @ Amazing, award winning (TIPA 2005, Best Molie Imaging device) - takes very good quality photos even in the dark!. The video recording is also very smooth and good quality and it could probably record video for hours. @ Ability to play great 3D java games - Although i would not say that the pre-installed games show how good the java is. @ USB, Infrared, and Bluetooth connectivity - The K750i can connect to almost every mobile phone and computer. @ Easy to use - Unlike most other phones, the K750i is packed full of features, but is also very easy to operate. @ Expandable memory (Memory Stick Duo) - Expandable memory means no running out of memory space. I would say that this is the best phone a PSP OWNER can get. Because they both use the memory card, you can take a high quality photo, put the memory card into your PSP and view it instantly on the massive PSP screen (no computer required!).---- DISADVANTAGES -----I HAVE SEARCHED LONG AND HARD AND MANAGED TO FIND A FEW MINOR DISADVANTAGES @ Battery life - If you use the main features of the phone often, you will find the the battery runs out very fast. The battery life can be extended by turning down the screen brightness and the volume. @ Loudspeaker - WHen the speakerphone is being used, there is sometimes an annoying vibration that seems to go when you press against the shutter. This can also be reduced by adjusting the equaliser settings. P.s. It is not worth reading the reviews that have given this phone less than 3 stars. Most of the people who have written these reviews are either complaining that their phone keeps breaking (due to their clumsiness), or cannot spell to save their life (this does not say much about the accuracy of their review). Overall the K750i is one of the best mobile phones i have ever seen, and definately the best i have ever owned. The K750i is quite cheap at the moment. I got mine (pay as you go) for only £150 with £50 free credit!. THIS IS ALMOST DEFINATELY THE ONLY PHONE AT THIS PRICE TO HAVE SO MANY GREAT FEATURES - BUY THE K750i !!!

This little number is great. I purchased it last November on the O2's website. I must say I have not really had any problems with it, ok I have had one from time to time it will freeze but I must point out
this only happens if I am pressing keys to say use a text without waiting for the phone to catch up. The camera is supper, the best and one of the easiest I have ever had on a mobile. Lest face it it not going to
turn heads on the bus its simple looking, no fancy flashing lights to attract thief's so I think that's an advantage! A friend of mine went and bought a nokia 6280 on O2, within three days he had it back to the store who replaced it free. My friends now got it up for sale and he is back using his k700i and is planning to buy a k750i like mine. Like many of friends I am technology hungry and must have the most up to date
features but other than video calling id say this phone fits the bill well. Battery life is awesome; I call a friend with
the bat on the red (15%) for over an hour before it dies. Most handsets on network three are luck to get an hour talktime fully charged. As for
applications and games, I have been downloading them free from websites and installing them on the k750i using Bluetooth, 90% of handset can not do this without a data cable, some not at all. It's got all the
other basics like predictive text, calendar, calculator ECT yeah and it's got a video capture mode, but I must say it not brill. The camera has a metal shutter to protect it. Id highly recommend this handset for anyone who's looking for an outstanding long lasting piece of kit.

I was browsing thru www and found great reviews about it. Well at first everthing seems fine, but after a couple of weeks problems started. First it was the software that came with the phone. I tried getting if from SC but it only helps a little. Might be my PC or SC, but at the end recognising the phone is difficult, and precious minutes are lost(20-30 minumtes lost in setting it up).
Then more problems begin. The phone constantly switches itself off. There
seems to be a sweet spot when applied a little pressure, the phone turns off. Friends and business contacts are finding it difficult getting in
touch with me. Might be the network, but i personally have witnessed the phone turned itself off when a call was comming thru. Getting scary as some of the calls missed were very important and would have cost me alot financially. Really did get a dud. So many functions but poor realiability
would make the Nokia 3210 more in demand in my opinion in comparison to the K750i.

I got this phone last August and have been happy with it BUT the joystick is now completely useless. I'm not a big game player or heavy texter but it just now works when it wants to. I am very disappointed as the functionality of the phone has been impressive. I can't wait to change it. What a let down! I'd never get a joystick phone again.

an outstanding handset.The camera is the best ive seen in a phone so far, although the autofoucus is a great feature and a first of its kind the button can stick and you are unable to take photos. it has loads of memory and is great fof listening to music and the radio. the screen is large and vibrant but itgets very dusty underneath and scratches easily. the charger, usb cable and headphones are very loose when you plug them in and can easily fall out. the light is very powerfull and allows you to take photos in pitch black. DON'T buy on vodafone, as i did, they remove many of sonys great features. On vodafone the menu is just basic red and white and very boring. Highly recomend it! very reliable and powerfull handset. i have had the odd freeze but nothing any other handset wont do, its easy to fix by restarting.

A "good" camera phone - most definitely. i've experienced quite a few
problems with it, but since i'm a more visual person, i'm VERY satisfied with how versatile the design of the interface can be. That plus the 2mp cam make my eyes happy. ***PROBLEMS*** i've had 1) it hangs and you have to remove the battery to make it function 2) zooming in on the 2mp pix takes ages; sometimes u can't even rotate the images. 3) taking pix in the dark or indoors also takes ages.. i have to count to 10 before i remove
the fone in front of my models 4) why they don't put a flash is a mystery of a device so technically advanced. The fact that the light stays ON makes my eyes water.. which is okay if you're taking pictures of objects (not creatures with eyes) in the dark. ***OVERALL***, despite its
setbacks, i'm still loving its features. A phone will never be perfect in all aspects, just as long as i can live with its weaknesses. You take some, you lose some. With that size, it's pretty hard to jam up everything into one tiny device. Anyhoo, without cramming up the memory (i.e. playing music while reading texts), you get a pretty slick device. just a note to nokia enthusiasts, i don't think it's 'just' that you compare SE features to nokia the way some of you do, because SE has a different approach. It's like a Brit saying "i don't like Spanish. I prefer English because it's easier to understand!",, Well, duh. I've owned both types of handsets and knowing how to use them makes all the difference.

Im on my THIRD K750I in under 10 months.
All I wish to say is that while its working the K750I is a good phone.
The problems with it are ALL down to the lack of testing Sony Ericsson do
on the phones software.
They set up an update service for owners to update the phones software & keep releasing updated software for the phones but what they don't tell you is you cant install an older known working version of the software if the new version messes up your phone ( & it will )
The problems you will get is the phone will suddenly just crash & switch itself off for a minute & then back on again, Or it will decide to wipe the complete contents of the memory stick whenever it feels like it, Or the bluetooth wont switch on or off, Or it will just freeze up for a minute & not do anything.
So eventually you end up with a phone that you cant use so you have to call Sony Ericsson customer care, Then a courier will turn up the next day with a new phone & take the old faulty phone away & the 3 month count down
to the next courier vist cycle starts from the beginning again.
The K750I has been hyped up so much & I along with many others fell for it, A good looking phone with a brilliant camera & crammed full of
features, Its a shame Sony Ericsson let it down with software full of bugs
that stop owners enjoying the many features the K750I has.

Technologically, this phone is extremely avanced and the quality of the camera is good enough to print 6x4 photos and not lose any quality. The video camera is of average quality. The phone interface is very easy to use and overall I don't think anyone should have any problems in using the phone. The screen is excellent, very bright and clear, though the problems I describe later often hinder its performance. The internet browsing can be a little slow at times, but overall I find it OK.
The main bad point with this phone is its durability, which is verging on appalling. After owning the phone for 9 months and not using it that often, the screen is EXTREMELY scratched, the outer case completely
battered and the phone now looks like it has been around for about 5 years. There is no way of changing the front cover, and you can't even get
behind the plastic cover on the screen to clear the dust which annoyingly
gets behind it. It has not, however, affected any of the features.
Overall Sony Ericsson have pulled out all the stops and included lots of
features to make people buy the phone, at the expense of durability.
Unless there are known significant improvements on quality, I will not be
buying a Sony Ericsson phone again.

.. this phone is outstanding, iv had it quite a few months now and i hav not yet had 1 problem, the camera is amazing, and its so straight for ward to transfer pictures on to the computer. This phone is great, if your thinking of getting it, dont hesitate, get it!

Phone - fine. PC sync software totally useless. The history of the Symbian PC comms softare goes back to the Psion days and PsiWin - and its never been sorted. Of course its been through re-writes, etc. and of
course it works fine of PC's in Sony-Ericsson.
Being a long term Sony-Ericsson fan and having had to endure a Nokia for quite a few years (at my company’s insistence) I do find it difficult to be critical. Anyway …
there are two major issues:
1. Poor functionality
2. Reliability
1. Poor Functionality
Being used to MS ActiveSync (and we all love to have Microsoft),
ActiveSync for Windoze CE leaves The Symbian Sync software in the dark ages. With Active sync I just leave my windows CE device in its cradle as as my Outlook stuff changes so it's quietly in background mirrored to my CE device. The Symbian stuff needs to be manually initiated when you want to do a sync. Symbian will not ask you about conflicts but
always do what action you have configured (Ask me not being
an option). The Symbian software considers itself so important that whilst Sunchronising is displays a large progress dialog with no minimize
button. Why can't it just get on with what you asked it to do
quietly.
Most serious App developers these days will bypass the Outlook Security Model so users don't have to have the pop- where the user needs to grant an external application permission to access Outlook. If Symbian programmers are not smart enough to work out how to do it (despite the fact that MS tell you how), then they can always but a development package for a few hundred dollars (*e.g. MAPILabs)
2. Reliability
As for all time back, it will run fine on some PCs, but be a disaster on others. Latest version (when I got my K750i today) decided it would not
run on mine. When Sunc starts it takes 100% CPU for 5 mins, then starts a bit. 5 mins later having taken 100% CPU time. After 15 to 20 mins and having taken 100% CPU time it will then fail, though if you are lucks might have sync a few contacts or agenda items by then.
All in all a disaster. SE have no idea why it behaves like this (which is even more disappointing as I can tolerate software not working if the
developers can help or are motivated to help sort it out)
My own K750i when back the same day and had the new contracts voided on it. Shop was not too surprised.
High end phones need have everything working slickly why we pay larger amounts on money for them.

i have had the sony ericcson k750i since august 2005 and it has been to the repairers twice to have the navigation button replaced. thank goodness the years contract is up august 2006 then i can go back to using a nokia
again. the k750i is by far the worst mobile i have had and ive had quite a few mobiles.

I absolutely LOVE this phone!!! It takes excellent Images, and Video Clips. The quality is superb - and the features are very easy to use! I will have a hard job finding a better phone when I come to upgrade next time.
If you want a Sony Ericsson phone - this is THE one to get!

Good: Excellent phone. Better than my last Nokia 6230. Great camera, MP3, sound, reception and battery life. Lot of features are better than Nokia e.g the quick silent button but some strangely missing e.g. cannot save
incoming text phone numbers.
Niggles - Sychronising with Outlook not as good as Nokia on either USB or Bluetooth and had to reinstall PC-Suite a number of times to get sync
working. If dust gets behind screen you cannot clean it out.
Problem - Toggle key no longer selects down (after 2 months) and is now gone back to be repaired.

Overall this phone is very good. Packed with features and boasts a superb camera, with great night shots. Easy in your hand and not an ugly phone to look at, although, it's not the most stylish of phones by far. Navigation is simple and I think, pretty quick, but maybe I’ve had lots of slow phones before, as a few people seem to think it is slow.??? Connection to
PC is as simple as it could be, with either a USB data cable, or with a bluetooth dongle. Bluetooth from phone to phone is simple and very quick too. Able to add any kind of ring tone you wish by editing your mp3's, and same goes for your message tones, a feature I liked most as I work in a noisy place and need a tone that can be heard easily.
My only dislikes about this phone are the very stiff keys, making texting take a little longer, for me anyway, and the wretched joystick that has a mind of it's own..!!!
I have had no problem with the phone turning itself off or freezing or anything. I think people who have, must have had a faulty phone.
I would recommend this phone to others as the pros very much out weigh the cons.

I recently got this phone for christmas and i think it is amazing, the
camera quailty is brilliant and clear, the video is good, and also its got reliable battery life, it has a large memory, it has an mp3 player which is good for me as i like my music,it has blue tooth aswell as infered. If you want to remake or do up a video you can do that
aswell!!!!!!! and loads more. ITS THE BEST PHONE I HAVE EVER HAD. its a good buy.

heys well i just got the phone and i havent been able to turn it on yet, so i duno wat the fone is lyk or ne fing hopefully it is good...but i hve been looking on the net to try n work out how to take the back off and i hve seen alot of ppl hving this problem so yeh i duno but the back is so hard to take it off and alot of ppl r hving problems wif that not just me so yeh but yeh hopefully wen i sort out that problem the fone is as good as u ppl say it is ay

I love the phone, however i am having to send it back to orange because it won't accept my new simcard, although it will accept my old one, so this could be a problem with the network, i am unsure whether tyo get this phone again or go for the W800i as the reviews do seem to be more positive. On the home screen has anyone noticed that the top and bottom bit are abit blue? and when calls or menu are pressed they have a white line go through them? it is a bit slow, and i don't like the joystick camera is excellent quality, better than some digital cameras on the market! i think the mp3 player is good, however the ear phones on the W800i are better, took me about a week to put the foam over them ear pieces! much better than my old phone, the samsung E800 ARGH WAS TERRIBLE!

all you people writting bad comments about this phone are all wrong, this phone is fantastic and alot better than the samsung d500 or the nokia n70, the n70 is big and bulky and expensive, where as the sony ericsson k750i is small, light weight, great features, all for a little price compared to the nokia n70. ALL YOU PEOPLE THINKING OF GETTING THE K750I, GO AND GET IT!!! AND ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO IS GOING TO GET A NOKIA N70 OR SAMSUNG D600 OR A PHONE LIKE THAT, DO SOMETHING SENSIBLE AND DONT BOTHER TO GET ONE, GET THE SONY ERICSSON K750I INSTEAD.

I paid extortionate amounts of money for this as it seemed to have everything you could ever want in a mobile phone. However, texting was difficult, picture and video quality was appalling, the fm radio reception left alot to be desired and the battery life was poor. But by far the worst thing about this phone has to be the fact that it cut out/switched itself off several times a day EVEN WHEN IT HAD A FULLY CHARGED BATTERY!!! I put up with this phone for about 5 weeks when it cut out completely and never came on again. I have sent this phone back and am in the process of getting a refund which is proving difficult. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL!!!!!

Coming from a long history of Nokias, I was wary of changing but I am now glad I did this phone is great, i have had it now for two months and am still finding things I like, the sound is crystal from the earphones on the radio and mp3's, the screen is bright and clear and the applications easy to find and operate, I downloaded 1000 games from a filesharing network and am working my way through them(my work is suffering), gameplay is clear and fluent, the camera is the peach lots of toys like Flash, Panarama, Macro and the one that takes three shots in quick succession(I cant remember the name)and all in 2megapixel with great clarity. Now for some Bad points, slightly fiddly joystick(I've fingers like porkchops) but i am getting used to it, the charger plug looks a bit fragile, I've not broken it yet but I am sure, due to my previously mentioned problem, I will, why they made it so dam fragile I don't know, whats wrong with a jack plug. Anyway I cant mark the phone down for things that might happen, especially when the rest of the phone is so good, Nokia watch your back.....

I got this phone just over a week ago.And ii think it is great.The battery is great if you don't keep it on 24/7 which i don't because i would get in trouble at school if it satarted ringing .The camera is exlent.The games are kind of boring.The recording feautre on it is really good.I would recomend you buy this phone.If you know yur phones and how to get around them.If not i recomend you buy a phone with less feautures as the k750i has so many if it is your first phone or your first phone with loads of feautures like thsi you may bee blown away and not be able to use the phone to it' ful extent.

I have purchased a k750i off ebay for a fixed price of #230. Now let me tell you, I've had about 100 phones in my time, and those phones don't even scratch the surface of the k750i. It is a very small phone. It looks relatively big in pictures but the pics don't do it much justice. The camera quality is EXCELLENT, same as the video. The MP3 player is great, I believe they come unlocked enabling you to insert any simcard. This phone stands out in a crowd and will be easily recognized by people as a fantastic phone. Sony Ericsson have picked out all the great things of a phone. It even has a Camera cover, when you open it, the camera starts, and then close it, obviously the camera then exits. ** If you are thinking of buying a new phone, this is the one you want! **

excellent phone. best phone i have ever had! the camera is great and the video. mp3 player is good aswell as the radio. upgraded from the samsung d500 which was good, but the k750i compared with the d500 is fabulous.its small with loads of features, 2.0 megapixel camera with flash and auto-focus! memory card up to 2gb, it comes with a 64mb memory card enableing to save up to 200 highest quality pictures or 50 mp3 songs! RECOMMENDED!

Having lived with it several months now the k750i is rubbish. The memories get last dialled numbers mixed up causing me a lot of embarressment. The charger no longer works unless you prop the plug against a book and put weight on the phone itself to hold it still, as experienced by several other colleagues. The buttons are too small and easilly pressed to give frustrating texting. The mouse button is too sensitive. The battery runs down very quickly. I frequently have to change back to my old reliable Nokia 6310i which the idiots in Nokias sales department have decided to stop making. KISS - Keep I Simple Stupid has never been so appropriate. Sorry folks, Sony Ericsson have got this one badly wrong.

James please if you are going to review a phone on an English site try and use some form of English in your review!!! However I do have to agree 'dis is da best'!!! Great features, quality camera and the fact that I can use the memory stick in my Sony digital camera too is a bonus. Nokia need to be aware that Sony Ericsson are moving ahead of the game with these sort of phones so need to pick up their game. The other point to note is that a lot of people are eagerly awaiting the W800i but I spent a lot of time looking at both and came to the following conclusions: 1) They are exactly the same phone other than looks and the fact that the W800i comes with a 512mb memory stick - the fact is that the W800 is an ugly colour and gets dirty very easily (just go into your local mobile store and have a look at one that has been given some serious handling - grubby like you wouldn't believe), the K750i is more practical and more attractive 2) You can get cheaper deals on the K750i and therefore use the money you save on the phone to buy the 512mb stick (about #40 if you shop around) and you then have the same phone other than it's not a horrible colour

Simply the BEST phone, save some top end smartphones, on the UK market right now, even the 6230i, which is often pitched against the k750i, doesnt even come close. It has had some teething problems, most notably with freezing, but this can be fixed with a free simple firmware upgrade, which you can do yourself, via the SE website and the USB cable supplied, or your SP should do it for you, or replace it with another with the new firmware already installed, if you tell them you're having problems. Have had this phone for over a week, upraded the firmware the other day, have had no trouble since, quite simply, everything works fantastically, menu is intuitive, and the joystick, although it takes some getting used to at first, I previously had a N6230, becomes second nature. has a 2MP camera, with autofocus, now this isn't just a regular cameraphone, this basically incorporates the camera from Sony digital cameras, to give simply excellent photos, and all you have to do is open the slider to turn the camera on, like you would with a normal camera. the mp3 player is great, the bundled 64Mb card is good, but 512Mb would be nicer, but 64Mb is still more than any other phone comes with. Nothing else compares to this for ease of use and quality, the only people that will disagree are the old Nokia faithful, basically people that think the 3210 had a great UI and things should never have changed from that (they haven't really on Nokia phones, just added colour.) many manufacturers now try and imitate both the menu system, often failing, and now more are trying to copy the joystick. Why accept a poor imitation, when you can have all the best features, with Sony's renowned quality. I think I've said enough.

I have just changed from a Nokia 6230 to the K750i and I am very happy with my choice. The picture quality is fantasic and coupled with the huge memory and the easy to use nature I think that this phone is a winner. For all those people who say that the phone is slow and locks up you all need to have a little bit more patience. I was a long time Nokia user and thought it was time for a change. The k750i is impressive with a very good camera and very nice screen. I've used it for 2 weeks now. But the interface drives me mad! However much I try I just can't see any logic in the button or menu layout. Here's a few examples: i) Why on earth is it a good idea to clear the text message buffer when you navigate away from writing a text. Just leave it there! It's not like the phone's short on memory. You do get the chance to save it to Drafts, then you have to nagivate around to find the message again. I just want to go resume texting. Drives me up the wall. ii) No one-button shortcut to write a text message. (you can create a shortcut to the message type selector menu, but you can't just start texting!) iii) Can't lock the keypad without getting back to the main menu, and there's no button for this like there is on a Nokia (you have to hold the Back button down for ages, then you can lock the keypad). iv) when you miss 3 calls, you'd want to know who they were. Once you know this you wouldn't want to the phone to display the missed calls icon, cos you know what calls you missed. On the Nokia this was easy. As soon as you read the missed call notification icon dissappears. With the SE you have to manually navigate to the New Events list press a soft key to Dismiss the entry, and then it asks Dismiss Yes/No. This is about 5 button presses that you never had to do on a Nokia. Drives me insane. You start to realise why Nokia can be complacent. They have the most streamlined, refined interface that is optimised for the minimum number of button presses. Come back Nokia! ... will you forgive me? Please? (sorry I said you were ugly, I didn't mean it...)

Had my phone 2 weeks now and i am experiencing the same problem with it freezing and not being able to do anything until you remove the battery. it came to a head last night when it turned itself off and will not turn back on now!!! not impressed,am awaiting a replacement as i write this. otherwise the phone is great for features and the MP3 player is good quality also. i hope i do have the same problems with my replacement.

Had this phone a week, very nice looking phone, controls easy to use, camera and video very good, expandable memory to 512mb comes with 64mb. But have had problems with downloading mp3 songs and ringtones onto the phone, just will not except them, even when downloaded from a ringtone site. Ringtone volume not very loud, and with only a choice of 3. Three games are 1st level only not full games, and need to be downloaded for full games ( a bit tight in my opinion ). Because of the inability to download any mp3 or other alternative music am returning this and considering a different phone which is a pity because it is a nice little package. I may have kept it if the ringtone volume was alot louder but afterall this is first and foremost a phone and if I cannot hear it, theres no point in having it.

Just 2 respond to Will. I just got a 750i and it does exactly the same thing. I usually leave my phone on all the time and this is always locked up when I go back to it. I have raised a query with the Sony support desk (Go to http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=gb&lc=en&ver=4000&template=ps1_1_4&zone=ps&lm=ps1_1&pid=10242 ). If u have 1 of these phones, please do the same. More chance of getting a fix that way. I will also raise with my SP (o2), they should have more clout (especially when they realise they are about to get buried in product returns).

This phone is great, a lot of memory, and the camera is its best feature as iv had some high quality images from it. however im having problems in when the phone goes from standby to the clock when it powers down everything freezes, u cant even turn the phone off the only way to fix it is by removing the battery. It doesn't do this straight away but its mostly when the phone is inactive for a long period this occurs. Iv replaced it once already and my second phone is doing it and im going to get it replaced again. It has great features but with freezing problems like that it lets the whole thing down. Does anyone experience the same problems?
