Reviewed by joe on 10-05-2005 this is my 5th phone this year, yes i like phones! and i can say that the phone as a phone is good but there are things i find missing, for example there is no themes that u can change. the battery life is unacceptable for this era. if i speak on the phone for more then 30 minutes and play a game or 2 for like 10 minutes. within 5-6 hours my battery is gone! i originally thought that i recived a phone with a bad battery, but after reading other peoples reviews i realised that it is that way. also the calendar does not! have an alarm feature to remind u of your apointment! the voice quality incoming and outgoing is great! the reception so far seems good! i love the design even though it does look like a slider version of the t610 which i dont realy like. the screen is incredible and the camera is great! i dont know what other people are taking about here the camera is a 1 megapixel camera! and even takes decent videos with sound! so all in all it is a nice phone if it had the calendar alarm and a better battery it would have been excellent! Reviewed by tone on 18-01-2005 ok so the phone is not a world beater ! but it does what is does well, it has a great screen (same as GX30) and a good camera (same as GX20) (i wish people would do their homework before slagging things off ! ) so photos are more than acceptable , who REALLY needs bluetooth anyway just use the hands free it comes with, problem solved ! i like the shape as i dont care much for 'clamshell' phones and the slide action feels good and the phone is well put together ,and i have not had any of the problems mentioned in previous reviews , i do agree though that battery life could be better. all in all a good phone if you dont like to follow the herd , 8/10 Rating:
Reviewed by Rebecca on 11-11-2004 I love this phone very much. I have just got my slef one for school. The camera and video are super. The only problem is that the battery doesn't last for every like the Nokias but it is still super. I would of loved for it to be a little bit cheaper because of the battery but still. My mum loves it so much that she is going to buy herslef one for her birhday!! Rating:
Reviewed by Kate Arnold on 17-08-2004 What is the purpose of this phone? It's got a big screen, but poor quality compared to Sharp's GX20. It's got a camera, but only a miserly VGA camera, compared with 1 megapixels from the Sharp GX30. Battery life is pants. What did you make this thing for, Sharp? You listening? Rating:
Reviewed by TURTS on 01-07-2004 FIRSTLY AS THE SCREEN SIZE IS MASSIVE THE BATTERY LIFE IF NOT PUT INTO SAVE MODE IS VERY POOR IT WILL LAST ONE DAY IF USING IT AS A PHONE OR A COUPLE OF DAYS IF YOU DONT TAKE A CALL. I JUST BOUGHT ONE AND I AM TAKING IT BACK THE AUTO ANSWER KEY DOES NOT WORK AND SHARP KNOW THIS BUT STILL SELL THE PHONE. IT ONLY REDEEMING FEATURE IS THAT THE CAMERA IS FANTASTIC AND THE PICTURE QUALITY IS SUPERB. BUT FOR FUNCTIONALLITY AND USE IT IS VERY POOR. ANOTHER ANNOYING FEATURE IS THAT WHEN YOU MAKE A CALL AND SLIDE THE HANDSET CLOSED, EVEEN WITH THE SLIDE FUNCTION DISABLED THE PHONE CUTS THE CALLER OFF...HOW ANNOYING Rating:
