....have had this phone about 5years now, have been using other newer phones since then, with mp3's, longer video capability, much more memory, radio, etc but I still like this phone. The memory is a bit rubbish and it would be nice to have themes or mp3 tones, but who cares, the camera on this phone far outshines the sony ericsson and nokia's I've used in the meantime, and for some reason I love the fact it can take night pictures with its little light...and it's one phone that hasn't switched itself off or frozen on me (so far) mid conversation, which is pretty spectacular!!...It's old skool, I love it and I'm keeping it...

I've just got Sharp GX25. It's good, knows more than my old Nokia, (bluetoooth, more memory, more ringtones and the camera etc.) but knows less as far as calendar, note, reminder settings are concerned. I don't really like its phone book. There are lots of unnecessary boxes for never needed data, but can't cope with 3 or 4 phone numbers to one contact, or can't copy numbers. Also can't repeat reminders e.g. for a task I must do on 4th of every month. It does not repeat birthdays from year to year, with which I was so comfortable with my Nokia. I hope I'll get more comfortable with my Sharp after inserting all data I need into it's memory, but will miss those functions I mentioned hereinbefore.

I had this phone for a year a couple of years ago and really liked it. It was very hard wearing as I put it through the wash several times and constantly dropped it :S it was only on the fourth wash that the screen started to go and I got a new phone. I went for the Samsung D600, which I also really liked :) but that was stolen from me a few weeks ago and I am going to purchase the loyal and hard wearing Sharp GX25 again :)

It has a good-quality picture BUT The video recorder only lasts less than 9 seconds. The camera memory is not good though, o.3 megapixels which is hardly nothing. It is VERY Beautiful nice looking phone. I have had it for 4 years but it has stopped working after 4 years but all it needs is a new battery I paid ¤179 for it. Maybe it should have been about 4o euros less because the memory is not great and the graphics for the video arnt great but all in all it is a good phone.

I bought this phone in Jan 2005 in Hong Kong and it still works perfectly, the worst damage on the phone is there xera printed on the back that isn't anymore, and I had to replace the battery for £5. I see all the comments about the number of pics that it stores, I have 31 pics stored on mine, as well as 40 ringtones that didn't originally come with the phone, and the hong kong version only has 1.8 MB memory, if thats not enough for a phone than wait a few years im sure that you may get what you want, just remember that the number of pics as well as ringtones is about compression, size does matter. Ive been very satisfied with this phone as it still works after 2 1/2 years, and that cant be said about my other phone (nokia 2310) that is 6 months old and only displays in arabic regardless of what you set the language to. as well as the nokia 8210 that lasted 4 months, and the sagem my x-5 that lasted about 5 weeks.

I am just about to get a new phone, and have had my GX25 for over a year now. coming off another Sharp phone, the GX10i(which in my opinion is still better than most camera phones out now), this is more what I expected from Sharp. Yes, the memory is a bit of a let down, but its made up for. I got a bluetooth dongle for my PC, and transferring files using the included software is really easy. The screen is really good. I held it up to my LCD monitor, and it looked just as good, if not even better. The camera is good, for its resolution. Although the photo's tend to look slightly better on the phone, other than the PC. Still, i use it for a lot of spur of the moment pics, to be uploaded to my website, blog etc. looks wise, it is pretty sharp(excuse the pun). The outside screen is a little small, but then again I could still see call details clearly. In the year I've had this phone, it nhas been abroad many times, with myself and family. It works grand in The USA, and network set up is a doddle. All in all, and very good phone for its price, even when it was twice the price it is now

had mine 9 months (upgrade) after 4 years of nokia phones. First flip phone. Took a bit of getting use to. Camera is excellent: clear photos easy to use. like the idea of being able to put a picture against contacts. however, these pictures take up memory so it's best to download to a PC any pictures you wanna keep. Pretty robust phone having dropped it a couple of times without damaging it. I'm on Vodafone and reception is very good. Used it abroad a couple of times without any reception problems. Video camera has only 15 seconds of recording but if I want to record then i will buy a video recorder!!. External display is small, making reading the incoming call details somewhat difficult. unlike most other flip phones, flipping it up does not answer the call which can be a pain after a few beers!! The phone is quite light and compact compared to some other similar phones and the keys are easy to use even with my large fingers. I would recommend this phone

Totally shocking battery life, 2 friends have experienced exactly the same problem with same phone. Vodafone say this is normal but I only get a couple of days out of a charge and far less if I use Bluetooth. Charger works fast, but what's the use of that if the phone can't hold a charge? Phone often recognises other brands of bluetooth phone but will not accept data transfer from them. The video function is only ok and the sound quality is appalling. Playback is always muffled and crackly (like a pig in a duvet). My Vodafone version came with three games, two of which are of limited play (10x) and all of which are boring. How come the same game was free on my old sharp gx10? Vibrate function is just rubbish, on silent it can go off in your pocket and you wouldn't feel it unless you were wearing seriously tight trousers, or speedos, but mine don't have pockets and I have doubts about the phone's water resistance. All in all, the features and extras on this phone make it look great, to begin with, but once you have bought it and are using it in the real world, it's faults become immediately obvious. Reading the other reviews on this page makes it seem that mine is the only poor gx25 out there, but are these people too easily pleased by the shiny blue bits (and the cheesy Ferarri red version)? Why did sharp decide to make a phone with a little bit of everything, and then just not make any of those everythings any good? Not as impressed 2 weeks later as I was when I left the shop.

This product has got excellent software in it with a built in camera which allows us to shoot pictures which helps in reviewing our memorable moments anywhere we r and every where we go. But I found the price of this product to be very high as compared to the other brands available in the market with same features in it. I find the price to be almost double the price of other brand of mobiles which have the same features in it. Customers of Sharp would be happy if they find this product priced below 100 pounds. As i found many people switching onto other brands of mobiles though they like ur product as they also found the price to be very high for which they r not ready to pay.

Got this phone a week ago. Nice design. External screen could be a little larger. Camera is good ,but i think the software running it is a little faulty!? It seem to get confused over artificial lights! My wife got the GX20 and the camera on that seem sharper and clearer then mine!!Which is a disappointment ,because the camera on this phone is suppose to be the same as the gx20. There are other features that is left out, that the gx20 has and the gx25 lost!! I was expecting this phone to be a hugh improvement over the gx20, i was wrong! Its suppose to have 262,000 colour over 65,000 of the gx20, but you just cant tell the difference! Battery life is not bad around 3-4 days if you dont use it too often. But the battery indicator seem to stay full bar for the first 2 days then it rapidly decrease to one bar! Dont get me wrong the gx25 is a good phone, but i would have thought sharp would have put in move functions and improve the user interface abit more.
