Reviewed by Unicum on 08/02/2011 I have this phone for a while now, I have only 2 complaints. 1: The dark silver finishing is pealing off the alu case. 2: The menu is a bit slow. Still, as a PHONE (not smartphone/pda/tab/whatever) works like a charm, the battery still holds power for about 3 days. I would rec it for anyone who needs a phone and not a personal computer with phoning possibilities. My score is 5/5. Wouldn't change a thing. Rating:
Reviewed by Bobsyouruncle on 15/01/2011 If I want reliability, I borrow my sister's E900, because this phone is not reliable. Poor signal, non delivered text, fed up to the back teeth and this was given to me for my hard work in passing my exams. Not fair, bah humbug Samsung, you had my dad's money and he is fed up too! Reviewed by Jim on 05/12/2010 Very nice looking phone; I have had it for 6 months and no problems. Works great as an MP3 player. The built-in camera is not as good as a stand-alone camera, but I didn't expect that in a phone. I was able to obtain a small eye glass case, in which if fits perfectly. Battery life is OK if you use it only as a phone, but if you play music, and especially if you take pictures, it will need recharging quite frequently. You should really keep it in a case as it will scratch easily. Was very difficult to obtain the U800 here in the USA; Samsung must have targeted sales to Europe, since most reviews are from there. I'm tajing very good care of it, because I don't think I could get another one here. I have heard the U900 has a better camera, but it is a slider phone and costs more than this one. Rating:

Reviewed by Beckah on 30/07/2010 Got this phone in november 2008, it worked fine for a while, then the face peeled off, the buttons fell off, also the plastic things on the flaps covering charger hole and memory card hole fell off. Now my problem is that, when i plug my charger in, it says phone temperature too warm or too cold, so charging is paused. :S also when i plug my charger in it says USB connection connected choose mode, and i get the options as though i just plugged it into my laptop. bag of **** if you ask me, utterly useless, samsung claim theres nothing that can be done :/ Rating:
Reviewed by Danny on 14/06/2010 This phone has been with me for about two years now. And is somewhat out of date, but still does was it is told. I got it when i was sixteen so you can imagine the amount of drops it has had to bear. If your looking for everlasting simplicity then this is it. Everything it says it does, it never said it was going to blow the mobile market to shreds so don't expect it to. It's just a smart and contemporary phone, for someone who just wants a phone and not a multimedia package this is a great choice. The battery life for me last's about 3 days, and that's sending a text every 10 minutes. All in all a very good smart little phone. Rating:
