Reviewed by UncleMeat on 24/01/2012 Ive had this phone for a year now, second hand from a friend who needed a bigger screen as their eyes were not too good. With an inexpensive £16 16gb memory card , it replaced my mp3 player and paired with some unbranded bluetooth headphones its great. Fantastic battery life compared with a disk based mp3 player. I like the way it will play music even without an external speaker or headphones. As a phone to make basic calls, it has yet to let me down. The touch key board means that folks can now text me and receive a reply - I found texting easy once familiar with the screen sensitivity. I do not use the internet on the phone, I have a life, a laptops for the internet. Cons: Horrible interface with a PC. I remove the card, place it in a USB stick, and read it through the laptop. Very sensitive to rain or water, when the screen goes nuts and the phone is unusable until it drys out. Battery died (needed constant recharging) after about 2. years of use, £4 for new one, no problems since. Verdict. Great intro to touch phones, inexpensive. Bought one for the wife who likes it too. Reviewed by stephen on 19/01/2012 Have had this phone for about a year now,its a great phone for making calls, texting i have found not so good as when you press the key once it sometimes does 2 or 3 ie when you want to select a d you sometimes end up with an e or f which can be frustating. All in all though not a bad phone for very little money. Rating:
Reviewed by Mel on 09/01/2012 I should first explain that I am rubbish with technology and only got this phone as my ancient Motorola Pebl keypad was getting worn out. Not interested in most of its features so can't comment on them but I have to say that I'm finding it realy difficult to get to grips with the basics of this phone. I like the full keyboard thing for texting but am completely stumped by how to use the widgets and even how to use the keypad during a call. The manual is very brief and doesn't give much help at all. Rating:

Reviewed by sarah on 15/10/2011 it was good for the time but mine always lags, gets bugs and its a burden! most likely the worst touch screen phone on the market. mine always turns itself on and off and phones people by itself. it is utterly hopeless and won't preform the simplest task after having it for a year. the locking feature it not too good, its only apps and websites have a content lock which i tried to remove but i'm only 15 and the fact that theres only 1!!!! ''GAME''!!!!! utter and complete waste of my money and time! Rating:
Reviewed by Phone owner on 14/10/2011 Ive had this phone for about 3 years now. The first year it was fantastic. It took a few days to get used to its layout and how it works. But once you get the hang of it, its easy to whip out and abuse its features. BUT.....biiig BUT. After about a good 2 years, a few concrete drops, some water drops and whatever, the phone decides it likes to freeze. Now it would freeze just a little every now and then during texting and it would be easily resolvable (by flipping the phone on its side to change the keypad position and it would unfreeze). But its got to a point where i have to stab the screen and see all the ink inside squiggle everywhere, whichc somethimes still fails to do the trick. And it freezes during anything now. Playing music, Texting, phone call, Switch on, or simply just trying to unlock it. THEN...yes another problem. The MICRO SD Card desides it doesnt want to clip into place. Ive tried other micro sd cards and they all do the same, so its not my card. The slot itself has lost its power to grip and clip onto the card. When this first started happening, it would take a few pushes and then it would click in. But nooowww im there for hours clicking non stop until im forced to leave the card out, otherwise when i switch the phone on (guess what..) the start up screen would freeze!!! Thats the main problems that im having with it, and ive seen online that many other people are too. Minor other things are just the slow touch screen, especially when playing music. And the crappy ringtones you get with it. Other than that, the phone DID a good job at first. Now after a few years its just a texting phone that gets me from a to b which is all that matters. But TBH its not worth the effort in the long run. Rating:

Reviewed by emma on 10/10/2011 Had this phone just over a year now.. To be honest it's not that great. It is alright for just texting on it, but anything more than that feels like a strain on it's capabilities. It has started to run painfully slowly (and I have expanded the memory so it's not that) and it has the irritating habit of not letting me read about every 5th message I receive. The touch screen is okay but when you start comparing it to the sensitivity of Apple or more advanced Samsung models it's not as good, lack of multi-touch makes navigation slow. All in all, a decent phone but deteriorates fast, could do better! Rating:

Reviewed by Annoyed user on 18/09/2011 This phone, after a few months, is truly dreadful. The supposedly beautiful touchscreen features are unresponsive, and texting is horrible to the point I often have to simply abandon long texts. The Internet is 2g, so it is expensive and unusable. After reading reviews like these I decided to get it, it sounded awesome, but really? The poor touchscreen let's the rest of the phone down. Feature wise it is impressive for it's price, yet a lot of these - like drawing on photos, handwriting- simply aren't accurate enough with the shoddy touchscreen, and are nothing more than gimmicks. Do not buy - at the time of writing there are many phones marginally more expensive that sweep this capacitive monstrosity away in terms of speed and performance. How dissapointing... Rating:

I am really pleased I chose the tocco lite; it is much better than I expected and only cost me £50 (not including a top up). The touchscreen is really quick and responsive and the camera is good - it comes with a USB lead to connect it to your computer. Texting is also so much easier on a touchscreen, particually on this phone! So far I haven't had any problems. The battery has lasted for 3 days and there is still some left which is good, especially as I have been using it all the time. The only small thing which I don't like so much is the theme colour, which can only be either dark orange or dark green - there is no other choice - however this is only a small thing and you get used to it. Reviewed by Maureen UK on 04/05/2011 I love the style and look of the phone and the qwerty keyboard is excellent. However, the instruction book is dire, hardly anything in it. It does not tell you the basic things like getting rid of the very annoying keypad bleep, or how to set up voice-mail properly. The information given is extremely poor and I think for a phone that is quite expensive (at least by my standards) it should explain simple things, as not everyone is mobile literate and each phone has its own differences even if you do buy the same make. Come on Samsung, buck your ideas up and let us have decent instructions with new phones. I can only give 3 stars, as the instructions are practically non existent. Rating:

Reviewed by kitty Kilbey on 30/04/2011 This phone is really good and im so happy with it, i got it at a good price, (Got it from the Carphone warehouse.) and it has lasted me a long time, the only draw back is that it scratches easily. The features are really cool and useful, and the PC studio that coms with it is great. I would definatly recommend this phone. My phone came unlocked and my sim card is GiffGaff. (Really good, you can get a goodybag, which contains unlimeted texts and internet and 250minutes free calling for just 10 pound a month, AND ou gt 5 pound free credit.) Rating:
Reviewed by Georgia on 27/04/2011 I have had this phone for a while now, and I loved it when i first got it! Although, the back of the phone is really thin and kept falling off, and it got to the point where whenever i put it down it would just fall off, resulting in me losing it completely! So now my phone is taped up to stop my battery falling out. The internet is also quite slow, but other than that it is a decent phone. Rating:

Reviewed by Ellieboo on 15/04/2011 I absolutely LOVE this mobile! It's so awesome! I'm always really picky about my mobile, and this one has "Passed the test"! The texting is fantastic and it looks so good and it has all the qualities that my mobile needs. I'd advise it to anyone who needs a cheap touchscreen, meaning anyone who can't afford an iPhone. Buy, buy, buy... Rating:

Reviewed by Sarah Crawford on 10/04/2011 This phone is TERRIBLE! I bought it in November 2010, 4 weeks later I had to bring it back to Carphone Warehouse as the touch screen decided to work when it pleased and would not let me access anything, they replaced my phone and now 2 months later it is doing the same thing, the alarm wont work and it keeps freezing and is very unresponsive. Do not waste your money! Rating:

Reviewed by Paris on 02/04/2011 My dad bought me my phone for my birthday last year. Since then I have been forced to change my SIM Card twice due to so-called glitches. Overall, the phone is quite good. I find the Alarm widget and Calendar very useful for keeping track of events and waking up in the morning. I love the fact that the actual phone has a lot of memory for pictures and other files. However, I am now looking at a Blackberry Curve 8520 as it seems to have better qualities. Rating:
