The Samsung E900 is a small and stylish top of the range camera phone. The phone has a sleek surface with a touch-sensitive control pad and has a two-tone finish in black and slate giving it a glass-like touch-screen keypad. It is a slim and compact sliding phone weighing just 93g with a dimension of 93 x 45 x 16.5 mm.
The phone has a very good camera with 2 megapixels, 4 x digital zoom, and with the flash you are able to take pictures in poor lighting. The camera also has video recording capabilities supporting MPEG4, H.263 and AAC formats.
The display is an excellent TFT screen meaning that it is visible even in bright sunlight. It has 262k colours and the resolution of 240 x 320 pixels which is one of the highest quality screens at the moment.
The E900 comes with a great stereo MP3 player supporting the formats ACC, ACC+, e-ACC+ and WMA. It has a 64-voice polyphonic sound which means that it is capable of playing 64 notes simultaneously. As well as polyphonic tones, it is also able to use MP3's as ringtones. With 80MB of internal memory and the space for an external MicroSD memory card, there is plenty of space to store music and other files on your phone.
This phone has great connectivity via Bluetooth, USB and TV-Output. The TV output connection allows you to view images and videos directly on a TV with the use of the document viewer as this enables you to transmit your files to a projector or present them on a TV or computer. Bluetooth enables you to wirelessly connect to another Bluetooth device up to 10 metres apart whilst connecting to a PC is done with a USB cable.
Connecting to the internet is done via EDGE data transfer rates. This is a very fast connection, providing up to three times faster rates then GPRS. 3G however is the fastest available at the moment.
The phone works on a tri-band operating frequency so it will work in Europe and America but not Japan. It has an average battery life of up to 220 hours of standby time.
Overall this is a very good phone with an MP3 player and camera that both rate above average for phones within this price range. The design of the phone looks very stylish although there have been some complaints about the sensitive keypad.

Easy to use phone, good camera but not steady on the super fine setting. Can tend to freeze. Touch buttons very sensitive. I've had the phone for almost 3 years, never broke on me and prior to that had a d500. Im a big Samsung fan, and this phone does the brand proud!

I've had this phone for 2 years. It is fantastic the picture quality is amazing! I'd highly recommend it. However, I recently turned on my phone to find just a white screen with a blue line in the corner. I cracked my phone a while ago. I don't know what on earth is wrong. I've had this phone for over 3 years and it has worked well for me. The touch buttons can be annoying sometimes like when text but otherwisie ok. one bad thing is the camera is pretty rubbish. ^^

OK. Here goes. The E900 is a good phone, but it has several flaws should you wish to buy it for a teenager or someone who likes music and games on their phone. I got mine for my birthday a year ago and at first I loved it. But after a while the touch buttons get a little annoying, especially if you're used to pressing proper buttons. Also, it is quite slow when you try and play games on it. I have to wait about a minute sometimes for Top Gear: The Mobile Game to load. It doesn't come with much memory, and if you try and download music onto it it won't do it. You have to buy a memory disc. Maybe not such a problem in some people's eyes, but the memory disc was expensive and those on a tight budget might want to reconsider. Another bad point is the quality of the music. Well. On mine it's so fuzzy and indistinct when it's playing some songs you can't even make out the words. On the other hand, if you are looking for an organised phone, this is the one to go for. It's more simplistic than other phones, and easy to navigate once you've done a bit of base exploring. It's cute and compact, although it does look a bit depressing if you buy it in black. The keypad is good, but I have had some problems with mine cutting out when it's not on low battery. Overall, it's a good phone, but if you want to play music or games, don't buy it. I was certainly disappointed. Hope that was helpful, albeit a bit long!

i had brouhgt this e900 phone aR FIRST EVERYTHING WAS FINE WITH THE OHONE & THEN LATER ON THE PHONE DIDNT CHARGE ANYMORE, I HAVE TO LITERALLY GIVE MY BATTERY TO Y FRIEND WHO HAS THE SAME PHONE TO PUT IN HER OHONE AND SHE CHARGES IT FOR ME THIS PHONE DOESNT WORK

I've had this phone for a couple of years now and it has NEVER let me down!! The battery life is 10/10 as depending on how much I use my phone it usually lasts for about four days - at least two, even with my addiction to texting!!!!! I would definately recommend this amazing phone to anyone. Reliable, easy to use, sexy touch buttons, and looks coolas an accessory. Another positive point is the colour. Mine is in hot pink and it looks really sleek! The only down side I would say is ... maybe the rubbish games? Other than that, a superb purchase. :)

I brought my samsung E900 about a year ago and now I have to charge the phone EVERYDAY!! Two of my cousins my sister and nanny have the same phone nd our batteries have all duffed up at the same time. DO NOT BUY! PLZPLZPLZPLZPLZ! The touch keypad is sooo annoyin!!

For me, this phone is fantastic! It has a superb 2 megapixel camera with flash and the touch keypad is fantastic! I've had the E900 for 2 years now and have no faults at all. I would say that, for somebody who is not used to touch buttons, they are quite highly-sensitive, but if you are keen on touch buttons then this is the phone for you! It is an easy-slider, with a very attractive build. I definitely recommend this phone and it definitely beats the LG Cookie. I've had one of these and much prefer the E900.

Ive had this phone for quite a while now and i would really recommend it, its touch buttons arent a pain at all unless u have large fingers but ive never had a problem! Its got a brilliant camera, good memory and it looks good!

The writer of the above review may not have actually had to live with this phone... I do, and would give it NO stars if possible since it's a masterpiece of bad design in everyday functional terms. Although I guess if your fingers measure 2 or 3mm across it may be possible to access the menus and submenus (subsub menus?) without hitting a wrong touch sensitive button and dumping a lengthy text, but for me, a normal sized person with perhaps slightly smaller than average guy-hands, it certainly is NOT. Previously I had a succession of Samsung's excellent clamshell phones and got on well with them all - but this thing is a total turnaround from the easily-used clams. This isn't my first slide phone, also had a cheap samsung slider that broke; it was less easy to use too - but not the masterpiece of terrible design like the E900. So it's not like Samsung don't know how to build a good easily used mobphone - they do; it's just that with this thing they forgot all the things that make a phone easily used and included all the stuff that makes it a pig in everyday situations. I guess it's pretty enough for a tar-black slice of plastic if you like your phones to look the same all over, but the fact that I'm looking for a replacement has to tell you that this phone has given no user satisfaction and has almost certainly meant I'll be looking at non-samsung phones for its successor. I certainly can't take any more of Samsung's new god awful head-up-its-own-arse design standards. BRING BACK CLAMSHELLS!!!

i have the samsung e900 and every tie sombody trys to ring me it says "It has not been possible to connect your call please try again later" ive tryed turning the diverts off but it does not save... does anyone know how to get it off ??

I have had this phone for 2 years now and I LOVE IT!!!! the touch buttons were annoying for about the first week, but you soon get used to them and it really sin't too difficult. I have dropped it off a 8m balcony and it didn't break and it fell out of a dogem once. This is a great phone although the battery life can become slightly short.

I've had this phone for a year now and i do love it but i am looking for a newer one. The battery life lasts ages! When you take the picture you have to keep the phone there for a couple of seconds after you ht the button otherwise the picture does goes blury. It can also be quite slow e.g. Going on to pictures you have to be patient to let the phone display them. I think the phone is good for it's price, i paid �50 for mine from Argos last year. There is nothing reallybad with this phone i am just looking for a newer one (touchscreen).

Ive had this phone for 2years now and it hasnt let me down once. Lovely red colour, making it stand out from my friends phones! Although the camera may not seem as strong as other phones but it is suprisingly good! There are different flash options, timers, mosaic shots, a range of shooting modes, effects, frames... the list could go on forever! It includes everything I need too such as a calender where you can mark on anniversaries, schedule meetings, or tasks. The internet is available and the memory is good. Bluetooth is very quick. If you dont like a dark background when scrolling through the menu, there is even an option to change the 'skin'!! I truly recommend this phone as it has served me well and has not gone out of fashion!

i loved this phone. I got it as a present and I loved it! The touch screen was great, and the memory was amazing! A few disadvantages are the fact that it has no radio, and the speakers to thr mp3 are slightly muffled. Also, the headphone jack is specific (not the 3.5mm) so it was a hassle trying to find them. But overall, this phone's worth your money!

I have had this phone for almost a year now and it's a very reliable phone with a sleek and elegant design the touch sensitive buttons are fantastic. I found them really easy to use. The camera is brilliant for only 2mp and it has flash which is a bonus. I really enjoyed this phone and have only recently upgraded to the samsung U600. Great phone, affordable and a great design avaliable in a range of colours.

I have now had 3 of these and all had same problems the music was rubbish , it didnt play as quickly as it should and the picturs was soo slow so i clicked them loads and then it started speading though them , and the picture when yu take it it takes about 1 min to achlie take the pic then when yu click it again thinking you must not have clicked it it take you to a messagin thing to send the pic when i type'd my message out on text i went to delite a letter and it dint delite 1 it delited the hole message soo i t5ook it bak to the shop theey gave me a new 1 then the same things happend i had to take it bak again after i though i'll just get a new phone 1 i have now is soo much better i did love the samsung but would never ever go back to 1 now after all this rubbish wiff it soo over alll i think f yu want this phone dont get it wait save up a lil more and get a lot better 1 ,

i had this phone for 2 years and thought it was brill! it was never faulty in the whole time i had it. the camera was good and the frames you could put on were mint. the touch pads are great! The only problem was that the screen got really scratched and it looked tatty after about a year. i would recommend this phone to people who have never had one before as it is easy to opperate and to controll. this phone is suitable for anyone and it is mint. the only problem is that is u are into fashion then this isn't really for u cos this came out 4 years ago. mint phone though. xxxxx (-:

word of warning: DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE, SERIOUSLY, IT'S TERRIBLE! I have had this phone for a while now, seeing as my other old phone didn't have bluetooth. I wish I hadn't now! Around 80% of the time when I take it out to make a call then even though there is a full signal it simply says 'Limited Service'; and won't let anyone call me or me call them! Once I composed a very long text to my friend - one slip of my finger and POOF - all my work was gone. It doesn't even autosave it. I also pressed the volume down button when playing music on a train. A couple of minutes later I turned it up again - well, I pressed the button - and it simply didn't work! So now I have a phone that cancels whatever I'm doing when my fingers come within 1 cm of the buttons, that doesn't make calls and has no sound. IT IS THE WORST PHONE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! Really, really, really. Please, do NOT buy this phone.

this phone is really good, the camera is good but then the night mode isnt very good but hat do you expect its only 2 megapixel. Ive had my phone for over a year now no problems with it exept the usb doesnt connect with my pc. I've had this phone for 15 months and it works perfectly fine, they do a pink one cause i got mine from the o2 shop, however the camera blurs and doesn't always take a perfect picture but when it does it's brilliant quality, also a hint to someone who gets this phone the torch can be turned on by holding the volume button it probably says it in the manual but i didn't read it so i didn't know, i have dropped this phone countless times and got it wet on several occasions and it works just as well from when i first got it, it's a little sensitive at first with the touch screen but be patient you'll get used to it like i did.

I loved my samsung E900 so much. It was the best phone ive ever had, and in my opinion its better than all the latest phones out now. Its also sooo much cheaper than other less quality phones. Unfortunetly my beloved E900 got washed in the machine:( i did buy a new one but it was far from how good the E900 was. A wonderful phone, id buy it again.

Ive had this phone for almost 3 years, i got it in 2006 and this phone has never let me down. It has never broken. my firend had the same one but she dropped it in water and it broke so we decided to see how easily it smashes. it never did smash just scratched and dented a little bit but thats all. If you want a new phone defo get this phone or a samsung they are brilliant

Do not buy this phone. Thankfully it has now been taken off the market as I had had problems with the software not being compatible like it should be which then rejected all sim cards amongst other hassles from the very beginning. It would freeze and crash then simply not charge or turn on. After it was fixed several times I got a replacement phone, along with a replacement battery and charger and the same happened again, showing that it was a universal problem. There were many other problems with it including the touch screen keys so when it was put in my pocket it would call someone and use up my money without my knowledge! In a nutshell...it's awful

I was very fond of this phone: once i got used to it i could use it with my eyes closed. the camera's fine and there's enough memory for a few songs which can be used as ringtones. annoying that you can't use your own sounds as message tones though and i did have some issues with picture messagaes... good phone!

the samsung e900 is a good phone, very reliable. It has a decent camera, good memory space but usually a memory card is needed if you want a more then a few songs.The touch screen is good but takes a while to get used to it, i got my phone given too me as a present Christmas 2007 and is in good condition still now the screen is strong and even after a few drops its still in tact. I would definately reccomend the samsung e900 for anyone who wanted a phone with that added extra touch :) Great great phone

i give this mobile phone a ***** star rating because it is simply a fabulous phone. i am getting a new samaung for Christmas simply because i had the E900 FOR 3 YEARS and wanted a change. it has a really good camera, buh at night it isnt very good even with the flash.:( the internet is fast and easy, the mp3 player is fabulous because the sound is wow weee!!! stick with samaung phones, there're fab!!

I have had this phone for about 2 years now and I have to say it is a good phone. That's it - good. Good: Robust, easy to use, looks good, battey life, torch/flash, menu. Bad: Thick, slow when looking at pictures, camera takes the actual picture 2 seconds after you take the pic, screen scratches easily, cant cancel texts, touch buttons get annoying after a while. Yeh, so I would say that now this phone is a failure compared to some others

I've had the Samsung E900 for a good 2 maybe even 3 years now and I love it! Even though its quite old now it still works perfectly. The memory is great, I have about loads of photos, music and messages and still lots of saving space to spare. The inbox memorey is also brilliant as you can store about 200 messages before it tells you that the memory is full, which 300 for me is quite a fair sufficent space and a half! The cameras quite decent too considering its only 2 megapixels. It also has loads of effects you can use with the camera i.e black and white, sepia ect aswell as editing and cropping kind of tools. The phone also comes with headphones which is handy as the phone could be used as an mp3 player as well as an installation disc and usb so you can put your photos/music ect onto your computer! Admittedly the touchpad can be a bit tricky for the first couple of days but you soon get used to it and it justs adds to the modern funky design of the phone. Its never turned off on its own or frozen at all either! However on the other hand the only couple of bad points about the phone is that you cannot assign your own recordings or mp3 songs as the message alert, but still you have a good 10 or so set ringtones you can have instead which are pretty decent. Another thing is that I think its a bit silly how you can't make your calls ringtone play and vibrate at the same time its either it vibrates then rings your just rings and doesnt vibrate which I found a bit annoying as the person calling has already hng up by the time your rington comes on! But oh well, its just one of the few set backs. All in all a lovely phone! About to exchange it for the samsung soul after having it for years!

Tbh Id say this fone is average. yehh its good, but i cant think of one feature which makes the phone original, apart from the touch screen buttons which are a NIGHTMARE haha. i always fone people my mistake when my fones in my pocket, becase if i forget to lock the keypad, or dont reslise it isnt locked, the buttons will jus press in my pocket without me knowing, next thing ive lost about �1 credit because i foned the first person in my contact list. however, i think this fone is very stylish and althought the touchscreen is a bad poiint in my opinion, it still looks awsomee lol the camara is ok. it looks good when focusing your picture, but when you have taken it the photo almost always comes out blurred, even if youve been really still. the memory is really rubbish, but you can buy a memory card so thats ok (: the music player is pretty good aswell. the songs dont play very loud, but hey its only a fone, not a cd player. not susposed to be booming haa loadsa people gunaa say am just moaning now, but im not because i like the fone am just informing people who want to buy the fone of the downsides to it, so there not disapointed like i was when it came to browing the fone and looking at its features

Had this phone for 20months now and I've never had any problems with it. The only problems are that the touch-sensitive keys are TOO sensitive...on numerous occasions I have been trying to take pictures and accidentally gone back onto the main screen which is really annoying!! Also, sometimes when I try to send a text message or connect with someone on Bluetooth, the phone restarts itself. The camera takes good pictures, however, you have to hold the camera very still and keep it there for about 3seconds after taking the picture to make sure it isn't blurry. The mp3 player is very good and I don't have any faults on this, although the volume could be a little louder. Overall, the phone is OK but nothing amazing!

i loved this phone for the first couple of mounths, then it woudn't turn on or charge up. the charger would fit into the phone, but then woudnt do anything. i ended up chucking it away and bying a new one. also the touch keys can be annoying sometimes.

wat can i say... this is the most amazing phone i have ever used. i have had it for a few years now so i think its time for m eto upgrade but i know i will miss my E900, for the price it has good internal memory and it supports my 2gig microSD which is also very cool. the only down side is that if u ave music on a memory card it cant b in a folder to add it to a playlist, and if its not in a playlist u have to change the track manually and u cant listen to music whilst doing other things on the phone but as soon as u get a very small 30 track playlist sorted u can do wat ever u want whilst listning to the music with its 2 mega picxle camera i think it takes better pics than my digital which is around 5 mega pixle.

A great phone; the battery lasts ages i'v had this phone for ages and it is soo good, music plays well, video recording is good, the only problem is the camera. You must have a really steady hand to stop the picture blurring, it blurrs lots of the time but when it works the photos look great. Easy to transfer files to and from the phone via Usb.

Right, this phone is UNBREAKABLE no joke. Im a young teenager and I drop it ALL the time haha, on the pavement, on the carpet, on the wooden floor and Ive almost had it 2 years and ive had no problems with it! Even though it has scratches on it it still looks smart!!! The photo quality depends on the lighting, but it does have flash so if its dark you can turn that on (I just use it as a torch to get out of my bedroom at night HAHA). It has a few cool games on it and the touch pad is not oversensetive, and you do get used to it VERY easily! Its a very straight forward, and easy to use phone, unlike sony ericssons! I still love it, even though I want a new pne for christmas. Even though its old-ish, some people still go, 'hey, nice phone!' to me :) you should DEFINATLEY get this phone. The only downside is it doesn't have themes :(.. the phone im getting for xmas is the Sony Ericsson K770i in black! Cool, huh? :D hope you liked my review and I hope it helped you. i am changing this phone for the samsung soul. in the next few days; its a good little phone. people are too fussy over the touch buttons on the E900. i particulary liked the phone and its amazing sleek design. the problems i had was the colour on the pink one chipped very easily, there was no radio and when i clicked to look at my photos it took a while to load. after a while the battery does go real quick and i bought a 6mb memory card and the phone cant even understand the format even though i bought the one it said. overall i give this phone a 3 star rating its a good for now phone but after a while it gets out of date and boring,

ive had my phone little under a year and it is a well designed phone,the music player is very clear and loud,the camera takes great pictures. Not to mention the touch sensitive buttons it is a very smart looking phone,and indeed has a great array of cool features. however,i sometimes find that whilst either on the phone or sending a text etc,the slightest movement near one of the touch sensitive buttons can cancel what your doing (many times its ended my calls) not to mention that you are stuck with a set of text sounds and cant download a personal one,which considering the phones capability,id have thought you'd have been able to. overall i dont think the samsung E900 was one of samsungs greatest creations,heres hoping they tweak those issues in future.

I bought this phone 2 years ago, and its been stamped on droped of small buildings, set on fire and kicked across fields and has survived it all so i would recomend this phone if you want a phone that's reliable, the batterie could last about 2 weeks if i dont use it alot and about8 days if i do use it often only bad thing is the mp3 is slow, but i never used tht, best phone i have ever owned! the only reason i have to replace it with is becasue its not staple gun proof :P

Ive had this phone for a good 1 1/2 years now. the first thing i would say is that it is very reliable. ok, so the battery life isnt very good, but ive never had any problems with it. i got bored of it very quickly too and want a new phone now.the touch screen can be annoying but its ok.

This phone is extremely good with excellent qualities to it. The buttons on the top part of the phone are really easy to use and i had no problems. The only disadvantage to the phone is that the camera is a bit poor but it can take some lovely photo's in the light! I highly reccomend the phone as it has been extremely useful to me so i think you will find it very useful too (: x

this phone is good and has the best camera i've ever seen on a phone, also the memory is fanastique without a memory card. however there is only 2 problems i have with this phone, one is the touch screen, i often press the cancel button by accident, it gets infuriating. m the other problem is when i want to look at something on my memory card is the speed it goes, it takes ages to go through pictures or videos on the memory card. apart from that it is a fantastic phone.

I had this phone for one year and it is absolutely awesome. Now it has broken. Sent it back for replacement, and the damage is "not under warranty" - I was so careful with it, but no, the broken screen is MY fault!! Basically, slide phone screens break easily due to the slide mechanism been worn out, affecting the screen quality. An awesome phone, but if it lasts just one year, then don't bother...

I have this phone and I just love all it! I have been looking for the right phone which will cater to all my needs from basic to complex, from hi-tech features to the coolest design. Great phone. Not all people like it coz of the touch pad. I have put an SD memory card in mine and my phone has 100 songs and over 500 pictures. Buy it !!! The only bad thing is my up button doesnt work and niether does my down button.

Had this phone for a year and a half and LOVED it!!! The wanting to replace it, i opted for the Samsung D900. I really miss the E900-the camera was AMAZING (2 megapixals on this phone is Way better than the 3 megapixals on the D900.) The key pads just needed a little getting used to. I don't understand what happened to the battery on some of the other comments...i could leave my phone for about 4/5 dayz without charging it...AND as a teen i am a text and talk-a-holic!!! If it wasn't for the fact i wanted an upgrade, I would definately go out and buy this phone again! I recomend this phone 100%!

Ive had this phone for 18 months now and not once has it had to be sent back. Ive dropped it sooo many times but its still not broken. It looks a right state now though, with the chipped paint work and scratches and broken camera glass thing. But it still works. However it does sometimes freeze randomly then crash then come back on and I did get a text come through today from the 19th August when the date is 28th august :-s Not seen anywhere where you can buy these phones in the shops anymore but Im so glad I bought mine when I did because Its lasted me so long and Im still in love with it. Ive been deciding to change my phone for months now (I dont usually have a phone for more than a year) but I dont want to part with it. Ive coped soo long without a memory card, its very good internal memory I think. The cameras good but smudges easily (especially after a few drinks) But when the time comes and it breaks for good I will be devestated :-( If these phones were still popular Id recommend it to everyone.

I have this phone for a year.It isn't superb infact its rubbish. the touchscreen won't work untill you press it twice and then if you do you press it twice it goes wrong. DO NOT BUY! i bought my samsung e900 a year ago and still works fine apart from the battery only lasts two days. i like everything about it,like its two mega pixel camera but i think it should have themes because the main menu is a bit boring.it is also very easy to unlock to different networks as you only have to type in *#9998*3323#.i am pleased i bought it and i would give it 7/10

This phone is the best phone i have had to date, sexy looking and so easy to use, to anyone who is thinking about getting one of these - DO IT! The only downside is that Samsung still put shite default ringtones on it. Not so much a problem for those of us who download tunes, but if you don't then you are stuck with crappy ringtones!! All in all, BRILLIANT!!

i bought the e900 two months ago, the good points are the camera which is first class,and the easy downloading to a pc. the bad points out way the good things with this phone, the control buttons are to sensitive and you can be into a programm and accidently touch a touch sensitive button and find yourselve back where you started from. the battery gives an hour of warning that its going flat and you can find yourselve with a dead phone. the raised front button operates the phone in your pocket draining the battery.

Look people. Ive had this phone for 2 years. i loved it when i bought it. and i still do. Yes the touch pad can be a pain at times. But you get that with all touch phones. The spec of this phone is outstanding. Good points; 1> camera 2> music playing facilities 3> menu etc. 4> Easy to hold 5> slim 6> you dont get nervous whilst getting it out your bag or pocket incase people think its a rubbish phone. 7> Proud to own it. 8> graphics 9> free games 10 > Texting Not so good points: 1> touch pad 2> Internet surfing. 3> texting ------------------- This phone is simply the best! this phone is really good and is really easy to work. I have the pinkisk red one and i love it. also my younger sister who is 9 has a black one and she alredy knows how to work it. it is for anyone who likes a fancy posh phone. It is absolutely gorgeous. Everyone should buy one.

this phone is ok. I have had it for almost a year and i have found that is scrathes very very easily. The email dosent work. The memory is ok but nowhere near as good as sony ericssons! I have found that the touch sensitive buttons are OK but I always am phoning my friends by mistake. I would not recommend this phone unless you have never had a phone before and arent expecting much it is an OK phone.

Its a cool phone, no probs with it, easy, fast and effective!! Ups: OK Camera 2mp fine for quick snaps, good video, Good music player, good games, a few demos, and you can add games from websites too. Stopwatch good, Nice loud alarm, easy access to files, easy texting, clever touch sensitive keypad Downs: 3D Sound on music player is useless, not much video time, sounds good memory but not(reccmend a memory card) Overall: Very good phone i really do reccomend it

At first when I purchased this phone I was really, really pleased with it. BAD NEWS: less than a year on and the phone will not recharge. I took it to a repair shop to find out if the problem had something to do with the recharger and apparently it was simply the phone! SOLUTION: I have had to buy a new mobile as no one is able to repair it. I am absolutely furious as that was a lot of money for a complete let down!!!

I am very pleased with this phone. It has clear menus and a slick design Camera quality is good although focus is appauling in low-light. Takes a couple of days to get used to the touch-buttons but once you do they are great to use. Personally this phone is fantastic for video recording with its supurb MPEG-4 quality. It is let down by the music player where a limited amount of songs can be played when using a memory card and only four playlists are available. If you are looking for a music phone, this is not for you.

Loved this phone! I only got a new one because i dropped it in a cup of water :S Camera is great so is the music player and easy to text with! If your going to get a phone i would suggest getting a samsung because they are probably the best make you can get and they last the longest ... Sony ericsons are great for music and camera but they dont last very long at all without breaking!

Iv had this phone a fair while now.. just under a year. But iv found many problems with this phone.1. the camera isnt very good and often the pictures come out very blurry. 2 when you send texts and you want to stop. it doesnt stop. i end up frantically trying to take out the battery. 3 Touch screen buttons are a complete nightmare never going back to having them again. 4 two of my arrow keys have already broken, which is a pain when using my phone. Everything else on the phone is good though :)

Otherwise good, solid phone let down by a ridiculously unstable operating system. Seriously, I can't open the web browser, create a contact group, write a new note, etc. without the damned thing locking up. Still, the camera's decent quality for a phone and the screen is very good and clear even in daylight. It looks cool and you can't argue with the price.

I hate this phone with a passion! It's totally un-user friendly with it's stupid touch sensitive keys. What�s the point of trying to use the menu�s, camera etc if the phone cancels or goes back when you�re in the middle of something! It�s worse for right-handers as the �C� button is on the right and if you get too close to it, as you would if you�re using it like any normal person, it will cancel what you are doing. It�s completely unusable in my eyes and is a real pain in the backside, but guess I�m stuck with it as I was refused a refund. Texting is also more difficult and I wished I�d stuck to a Nokia. It�s such a palaver trying to use any punctuation or doing anything other then letters and numbers. Also it�s so long-winded just trying to send a text message via the phonebook - you have to press the keys no less than 9 times!

I love this phone, I've had it for 2 days and I am completely used to the touch sensitive buttons. It has everything you need, in an attractive slider phone. Mp3 player is great, camera is one of the best I've used on a cell phone, it has many features, and a very bright flash. I can't say anything bad about this phone so far, and I am very pleased.

Have had the phone about a year now, but can't wait to get rid of it. Although it looks ok (and the pink is a funny red not pink) the memory isn't brilliant and it can be annoying when the touch keys are either over sensitive or just choose not to work. The thing that has annoyed me the most though, is that 3 days in, it fell off the arm of my sofa onto the carpet - the side of the screen cracked under the top layer - which is SO annoying to look at everyday - especially when it's not even a week old (and has since been knocked onto concrete and banged around with no further damage). This has happened to 3 other ppl i know, and one has the crack running across half her screen and her phone shop refused to replace it or repair it. I'm not sure if it was a bad batch, but if you're clumsy, beware. It's an ok phone, better message memory than my old sony ericsson, but still only less than 200 messages - the picture and music memory is bad - definately need SD cards. It' s an ok phone to have, it works as a phone should, but its not great.

I have had this phone for a year now it was ok for the first month then it started getting glitchy!! the touch buttons are way to sensative and the keypad can`t stand alot of texting. I am 12 years old so i need a reliable phone I am sorry to samsung. I personaly think Sony ericsson have a much grater quality of phones. So far i have a alot of problems with this phone. The keyguard DOES NOT work!!

this phone has really disappointed me there is a constant noise that is very loud when evere i do anything, and my screen cracked through no fault of mine. the touch screen is annoying, as half way through a 3 page text it cleared it all. when on charge the phone continues to light up, wich is annoying as i charge my phone at night next to my bed. i very much dislike this phone and cannot believe how many great comments there are

i have had this phone ever since it came out and ive had no problems with it at all. its a nice looking phone and ive found if u look after it well it doesnt scratch easy, mine still looks brand new. the touch screen buttons are quite sensitive but im used to them now so i find them fine, prob not great if you have big fingers! i admit the camera is rubbish, but if you arent bothered about that its a very good phone. ive found it very reliable and would recommend it

The phone, as a phone is ok. But the touch sensitive buttons are garbage. You just can't help returning back to the 'start screen'. Annoying beyond belief. Camera is good, and the rest of the features are standard. Avoid if at-all possible.

the touch buttons get in the way and are very annoying if you need to do things on your phone fast then you shoudnt get this one it takes somethimes ages till you have figured out how to use the touch i have had it nearly a year no problems accept lately it hasnt let me top it up then when it did it wouldnt let me send texts and ow it doesnt let me acceot calls because i i am texting and get a call then i press a butten coz im texting and it accepts the call with out me knowing so people who call me think i have accept call and are ignoring them that is annoying!! no problems really the battery is good and if u have time to get used to the buttons then get this phone but i have had enough of touch buttons im getting the nokia 7373 bronze a lot simpler!!!

i loved this phone, until now, the sound doesnt work for the listener on the other line,the text messages get deleted if u press the c button by accident, the light for the camera is really bad so its pointlss havin a flash as u can only use it int he day anyway, without a memory card, storage is way too little, on the plus side, its great to look at

Very good phone, camera not that great but its only a 2mp camera so what do you expect? It has a flash which is a plus. The touch screen can be annoying, but you will get used to it. As said below in some reviews, the touch-sensitive buttons are VERY sensitive and it is really easy to hit the 'cancel/back' button by mistake, and sometimes delete a whole text (quite annoying) but you will get used to it!all in all as my first samsung phone, i find it a very good phone!

I have had this phone for about 7 or 8 months and i have had a great time with it. It is reliable and is very good. The touch screen can be a little annoying but i wouldnt down mark it for that. The touch screen buttons do impress my friends as well! I am currently with 02 and they are great. They give me brilliant offers with this phone :D

I hate this phone. It's like a particularly stupid supermodel - beautiful to look at but really dense. If you use the delete button during a text and hold it down a fraction too long, it deletes the entire message. Sometimes it calls people when you're looking at their text by mistake. Ending calls is a pain as you have to go back 2 menus. The Samsung menu system is completely illogical and ill-thought out. Really, don't bother!

i think this fone is rellyl quite good. it's slightly harder to put things onto it using the usb than the E840 for example. but it's stylish and easy to use. will everyone stop moaning about the touch sensitive buttons they're easy to use.

I think the e900 is an excellent phone once you learn to handle the touch sensative buttons which won't take you long you will discover the beauty of the phone and it's excellent features, it is easy to use and just a perfect phone. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Have you noticed that when you ring somebody it locks the touch sensative buttons so it doesn't end the call?

The phone overall is ok could do with radio and TV but they are extras and if you just want a phone with some good gimics its got them. I am disabled so spend a lot of my time in the house in stocking feet on nylon carpets and at times I only have to go near THEM buttons and they activate (not good) Ok when I wear shoes though. ****

I LOVE THIS PHONE...lol but i shoudl know as i have had it for a yr + most ppl who comment have had it for a day! well heres some things that may happen:- *battery going dead after one hour (just charge it up fot longer next time) *touch sensors can be annoying but u just have to be careful *the web quality aint great but now i have changed to orange its waaaay better *the music seriously wastes your battery, say you have 3 bars once you have played music its down to one! but then again theres good things like the torch-press n hold the volume key + lots of shortcuts to things... overall i love my samsung although i am gettin a new one in 22 days! (my bday lmao) any suggestions what phone for that btw x

my phone is very nice to look at and the programs are good but.....it didnt come with half the stuff it was supposed to the battery lasts me about 3 hours and than dies so i have to charge it twice a day plus the usb cord doesnt work that came with the phone and my internet doesnt even work it says check my wap profile when i try it

I�ve been using E900 one year now. I felt touch sensitive keys are very sensitive, while passing my finger, it get activated and driven me very mad. Very difficult to use the menus, because it will automatically controls other sensitive buttons also. Recently I have problems with my sensitive keys, some times it is not at all activating. And very difficult to make any calls. I am not happy with these sensitive keys. Once it is dead that�s all.

Well, I love my Samsung E900. My broher bought it for me as a christmas present when it first came out and all I can say is that I feel it is STILL one of the best mobile phones out to date. I reccomend it to everybody!

Personally, I think that the samsung e900 is a very good phone. People are saying that the camera isn't that good. It's probaly because you are in the wrong light. When in the right light, pictures come out really nice. People expect amazing quality pictures, it's a phone at the end of the day, not a camera. Other features are good and i've had this phone for 2 years and I'm very happy with it. Definately buy!

I bought the phone in December 2006 from UK. And I�m in love with it. It�s really an excellent phone. Not big like Nokia N-Series phone and also the phone is light weight. Pros: Nice out look and sliding phone. Touch sensitive keys (I like the most). Easy operating system and excellent crystal clear display. Cons: Battery life is short. You have to buy extra battery if you wanna enjoy music on the journey. Lack of FM radio.

OK . I want to say that i have this phone for a long time. You cant expect phone as nokia n95 , because it isn't so expensive!!! When you want to buy a phone, you must test it! touch sensitive screen is not problem, bar for me! cheek it in shop, and you will see, can you handle with t.s. e900... Good/Bad : 1) Camera: Its excellent when you are outside, but when you are inside, (when it is poor light or bad light) , you must do settings - do automatic light, let it be 100 iso, superfine quality, .... Video recording is EXTRA! 100 times better than any other phone with 2 mpix and 3.2, it is great!!! 2)battery: About two days, but if you listen music all the time, it is 1 day. 3)mp3 player: Good looking, the quality is excellent, you can write mess and listen music! 4) voice recording- not so good, it is better when you move it on comp. 5) Java games; you can download it from internet, and from pc. move jar or jad files, in other files. then, in your display write *#9998*5282#, chose 3 option install midilet, the paswooed is 235282. then chose what you want to install and ..... you must have special java games for e900, and you can install programs. TRY!!! 6) you cant have mp3 as msg tone.because it has 20 tones and one of them must be your msg tone. 7) goooooood loking! 8)everybody i know have this phone 9) have very good options for msgs, .... other Samsung phones doesnt have that! 10) plese, check this phone firt, and then you buy it! 11) e900 has mobile tracker! if someone stoled your phone, you can have a next sim number. you must do some settings.... 12)just two themes :( i am happy with this phone!!!

I HATE this phone. seriously don't buy it. it looks great and seems it for the the first few days but... the sound quality is AWFUL, the music plays ok, but if you record voice sounds or anything like that it just sounds like a crackly mess. The Camera = rubbish well if you even get to take a picture, as you always hit the cancel but with the stupid touch screen keys!!! also, it scratches to the touch of a feather.. the touch key things are SO sensative, it just closes everything your doing all the time, you cant type a text without ringing someone or having to start again from the beginning it drives me INSANE. seriously the only good point about this phone is the Bobby Carrot game, that i will sadly miss when i get my new phone today. Finally.

i got an e900 had it for 3months and already one touch button has completly stoppd workin!!! then it wrecked my sim card by stopping sending texts (i got a bug) and now every fone i put my sim card in cant send a txt message!! I want either an x830 or an f210.....are they girls fones?

Hate it, it certainly doesn't beat their arch rival LG. I used to have Samsung and I hated it, trust me.. it will break within 2 weeks. My LG has lasted a long time now and i'm pleased with it. The Samsung isn't better, it just doesn't do it for me, it's hideous and looks boring, you can't even take a picture with it.

I've had this phone for about 7 months & I LOVE IT! I've dropped it a million times and it hasn't broke yet, camera is perfect and everything works fine. Hopefully it'll last for a long time because I haven't found another phone that is a worthy competitor at the moment. Definetely reccomend! Ignore stories about the touchpad and what not, it just depends on your personal preference.

i got this phone and payed 80 pounds (uk) for it on PAYG. after a week of using it, i attempted to customise the music facilities on it. i uploaded 3 differnt tracks from 3 different albums onto the phone and it refused to play any of them. the phone simply froze and had to have the battery removed and then put back in in order to work again. the bluetooth was also un responsive and occasionally froze also. i was sold the phone as it being ' a better version of the LG chocolate' in my experience, the phone was a nightmare to use and had unreceptive touch sensors. also i became tired of when i was questioned about my phone (they usually asked "oh cool is that the LG chocolate?") i had to reply "no its samsungs version of it" - samsungs poor version of the LG chocolate. if your going to get a phone for looks and are considering this, take my advice- go for the LG chocolate. that said, its a reasonable phone, but nothing to shout about.

Contract finishes soon and i wouldnt take another one even if I got paid for it

ok this phone has been really good but the thing that really annoys me is the touch screen. none of my friends seem to be able to look at anything without pressing the cancel key. although i have got used to it and have little fingers so its ok. it looks great and overall its a really lovley phone. it has a good camera and zoom and takes pics quickly which is a bonus! the only problems ive had is the touch screen, the battery life runs out quick (lasts 2 days at the most) and the memory! i can just about store 200 texts not even that if i have pics and music and videos on it! but yee i would recomend it to many!

220 hours battery life?!? that is laughable. I now get 18 hours MAX regardless of how much i use it. If you want a mobile that makes you stay rooted to a plug socket go for this. Other than that its a good phone but the battery life makes it absolutely useless as a mobile. Maybe if you have 3 batteries, it would just about compare to a normal mobile. Anyways mine has stopped even charging now for no apparent reason so goodbye my 430 odd phone numbers.

The phone is good overall but the battery is really bad; 3.5hrs talk time! the camera is good but the way it keeps vibrating when its running out of battery (which it does all the time) is just plain stupid! buy it if you like all the extra features, not if youre planning to spend any time actually talking on it.

I've had this phone for nearly 11 months and i love it, i haven't had any problems with it at all. At first i did cancel my texts trying to get another button, but after about a week you learn where you can put ur thumb without touching a button. The only things that are annoying me are the normal keys are starting to become unresponsive, but i think that it is mostly due to over use. Would recommend this phone to anyone, at least 15 people in my year group have this phone after i got mine.

Right so im only 12, but a couple of weeks ago i brought the E900 because i had won �200 in argos vouchers and the phone is really great becuse on the mp3 player the sound is really high and its brill like the whole phone, but i would recommend not to put a metal phone charm because i had a 'K' on mine and it already has a little mark on it. Apart from that i think you should get the E900. Oh and them people giving it a 1 must be blind because this phone is fab!!!!!

I bought the E900 yesterday, and I am happy to say its the best phone i've ever had! It has a screen resolution od 292k and has a 2megapixel camera which is fantastic. I has a huge internal memory even without a microSD card! Its cool looking and has got a touch screen pad, its rival the LG Chocolate just doesn't compare, tip:buy this phone over the Chocolate! The only downsides are the video isn't brilliant and the touch screen is a bit sensitive, you'll get used to it! Thats why I rated it 4 stars.

An amazing phone. Had no problem what-so-ever with it. ive had it for 18 months, on contract with vodafone. One of the best phones samsung have brought out so far! One problem, memory isnt excelent but is reasonable. Flash is bright, with camera zoom. Music player is exelent, only a few songs break the sound barer (makes it crackle) I would recormend this phone to anyone. Touch pad is easy to use, anyone of any age could work it. Use up to 12 text pages while sending text messages (perfect for the people who text there day away.) Hope this helps. x

INTORDUCTION The Samsung E900, a great phone in my opinion. However I think some others may not agree due to some of the features and what other people expect. GOOD FEATURES This Phone has many great features. Here is a list of the best ones.: . Extremely stylish and up to date in looks . Very light , to me it feels like 85 gramms . Touch sensitive sreen . Great camrea features, frames, flash, 2 mega pixel and lots of effects. .Music Player . A Generous 80 mega bite phone memory and expandable memory .Bluetooth . Access to internet . Many more However this phone is not completely perfect. Here is a list of the bad features: . Touch screen can sometimes be annoying . Not good for too complexed texts. . Quiet . Camrea taking . Low battery . No memory card with it (you can get one though) . A few more BAD POINTS IN MORE DETAIL .If you have big fingers, this is not the phone for you. It should be for kids under 16 years old, sometimes you press the wrong button on the touch screen. .When you are doing long texts and sometimes accediantly press the cancel button on the touch screen which can be very frustrating at times. . I would not reccomend this phone for the camrea. The features for it are great , however you have to keep ever so still when taking pictures espeacially when taking one of your self (big mirror though) . The battery can be low sometimes and go down quick like for exmaple, you check the battery at night and it is on full (3 bars) but when you wake up in the morning it will be on 0 (lowest) . The phone is quiet, espeacially when playing music, though sometimes it depends on the song. SUMMARY Overall i beilieve that this phone is great for teenagers but not for adults my grandad hated it (touch screen) but the features are great on a scale of one to ten i would give this an 8 for teenagers but i would give it "a measly 4" for adults.

I have had the Samsung E900 for 8 months now and it is definately the best phone I have ever had. It is so easy and simple to use. The phone is very stylish and I have never suffered any faults with it. Texting is easy and the buttons are well spaced out and a reasonable size making it very user friendly. The camera has a very high quality and with the ability to hold a micro SD card, memory can be huge. Standard phone memory is very good anyway. The touch buttons take a while to get used to, but they are not over sensitive. One criticism I do have is that finger marks show up very easily on the screen and on the touch buttons. The back cover can also be easily marked, but this is only noticeable if you look at it really closely. At least 3 people have decided to buy this phone after using it which shows its evident appeal and popularity. The Samsung E900 is a very good piece of kit and I would recommend one to anyone 100 times over. I have found it to be incredibly reliable and I struggle to find any fault with it. It is one of the best phones around today.

I've had this phone for about 3 months and am getting rid. Good points: Crystal clear when making calls. Bad points: Touch sensitive keys are way to sensitive. Constantly accidentally pressing the back button and losing my place. Also the exposure on the camera is way too long. You have to hold still way after the shutter sound to take a good photo. I have a small child, I need a quick photo. Its a lovely phone but those two points have marred it for me and that's way I'm getting rid and, for the time being, going back to my old E530.

i got this phone for christmas and 12 days later its already started playing up. people send me textx and i dont recieve them alothough they recieve the textx i send them. the touch screen buttons are really sensitive as you always cancel what your doing by accident. its a good looking phone though and has good features

Do not buy this phone!! Most of the other reviews about this phone have been written within a few days of purchase. I am about to upgrade to a new phone after having the E900 for 1 long year. The touch sensitive buttons make texting an absolute nightmare!!! When trying to view photo's, it seems to freeze for at least 3 or 4 secs before responding! And perhaps most annoyingly, when the battery is low and the phone is on silent mode, it vibrates every minute or so... not what you want when trying to save your battery power when your out on the town!!!! Surely the brainy people at the samsung labs would know that this drains the phones power like crazy! Anyway, 1 good plus point is that the phone does look good, compared to the D500 (which was a little gem!!). What went wrong Samsung??? I wont risk another so its off to Sony Ericsson for me!!

Iv had this phone for a while and its definetly good. However, if u want a pink fone the pink is actually red on the "pink" fone. The gold is good though. The camera is very decent. The best fone ever out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i got this fone on christmas daii and evr since it has been the best fone ever and by da way the people that are tryin to dis this fone shut up its as good as the lg chocolate and way better than the d500. If you can work the touch sensitive screen you must have chubby fingers and ive also had the music player on evry single day and the speakers have not bust out if that has happend maybe its just that fone not evry single 1 and if you like using the T9 input just press the * botton for a sec it will go on and off! Very light Samsung used very good technologie to make it this little and qualitie is relli good and i would recommed this fone and the d900i and basicly the same but they both have the best qualities of a fone !! samsungs the best make of fones!!! 5 stars all da way

oh my goddd!!!! i hate this phone!! whatever you do dont buy it its a waste of money its too sensitive but thats not all since getting mine it just keeps restarting ive tried getting it repaired but its still doing it its soooo annoying actually beyond annoying half the time im writing out a txt and it restarts and i have to write the msg al ova agen or im trying to send a msg and ave da same prob da only gud thing i can say is that i ended up throwing halfway acrass da street and it didnt break but then agen i guess i wouldve preferd for it to break

I brought my Samsung E900 a while back now and I love the phone. There are so many awesome things you can do with the phone. The picture quality is great and there are many different features on there, although I have had my phone for sometime now I am still learning new things. I would deffinatley recommend this phone to anybody!!

well i have had this phone since feb 2007 and what a phone fantastic, great camera, fantastci memory and just a great all rounder and people say that the totch sensitive buttons are hard to work but i think that there better than the actrual normal ones. thebad thing about it is the screen get scratched alot and the samsung name written in gold had came of, but beware i but it in my pocket and the screen cracked so after having it for 10months and what a 10 months it has broken, but dont let you but it of you thou becuase im not that good with phones so hopefulli should be gettin anoother one and cnt wait

I have been a samsung phone fan for the past 4 years but unfortunately that is now not the case! I bought a samsung e900 in august and although it took me a while to get used to the touch sensitive buttons it was fine. Unfortunately by mid October the phone was completely unusable as the screen was so scratched you couldn't see through it at all and when I phoned and spoke to samsung technical team they said that they would repair it but it would cost me �17 for it to be looked at and then extra money for it to be fixed as the damage must be down to wear and tear! I have always kept it in a seperate compartment in my bag so this cannot just be wear and tear so I paid �80 for the phone and could only use it for 1 and a half months which is not good value for money and not good customer care from Samsung! DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

I had this phone for about 6 months but in the end I had to smash it into smithereens as it was so frustrating to use. The touch sensitive buttons often cancelled a call when I put the phone to my ear and many times a was typing a text and it would be completely deleted because my thumb went to close to the same 'button'. Text messages arrived with cartoon animations replacing words, so if someone texted you to tell you that your child had been hit by a car, for example, a cheeky cartoon car would pootle onto your screen. it could not ring and vibrate at the same time and when you set it to vibrate it sounded like a hornet in a matchbox. Avoid this phone, or any other Samsung, they are definitely a case of style over substance.

i got the e900 this september 4 my 18th birthday in the shop i loved the look of the phone i thought it was amazing untill i got it..... a few weeks after having the phone it only switched itself off once. then one day i went to send a txt but after going into my phone book t pick the number i wanted t send the txt to the numbers had totally gone...... i took my sim card and battery out to see if i could get them back but i didnt.. it was a good job i had the numbers wrote down anyway. i put the numbers back in and everything was fine then a few weeks after that............. it happend again so i tryed everything but the numbers had totaly gone.. i think it saved at least 4 numbers in my phone. i couldnt put the numbers back in i couldnt delete any of the numbers..i tryed everything. i took my sim card out and put it in my old phone and saved all the numbers again.... now when i cant even ring anybody all it says when i try and ring someone is (NOT DONE) thats all i get and it seams that the numbers arnt even in my phone i go on my sim memory status and it says the numbers arnt there.. i cant even delete or re-name a contact.... i love the phone i think its the best one ive had yet i have the pink girly one.... its the best ever it stands out nicely. i dont want t get a new phone i really love this one and i find it really easy 2 use can somebody help me plzzzzzz thank you

I bought this as a Vodafone Pay as You Talk mobile and transfered my contract sim across I downgraded from a Sony Ericsson V630i. Like every phone I've had from Vodafone after a year they always seem to go t**s up either buy switching it's self off or camera not working. This phone is really good the touch sensitive keys can be a pain but you can get used to them really fast. Txting is easy, calls are crystal clear and has good volume when in noisy areas. The camera is good during the day as is every mobile camera but night time is dosn't go well the poor lighting dosn't help to get the best of shots. In the end it's a great mobile and is perfect for todays features even if I did do a downgrade I never used video calling on my old phone anyways.

i love this little phone so much. it has everything i want in a phone but im guted because of two things. one, the touch sensitive keys are a nightmare!! i am a technical person when it comes to phones and i constantly have my friends coming to me asking me to sort their phones out or showing them how to use it but even i had trouble with this one!!! i keep hitting the cancel button when im in the middle of a text so it deletes it meaning i have to start all over again. and i dont know if anyone else has had this but it keeps ringing people by itself!!?? ive had to 2 and a half years and recently as soon as i slide it up it rings people!!! i loved this phone and i would reccomend it to anyone but these two things just annoy me too much so now im searching for another phone.

It's a lovely phone. Very eligant and quick. Lovely screen, and the feel is wonderful. However don't buy this if you want a combo phone/mp3. I filled up the internal memory and it fine, if limited. I then added a 2Gb memory card. You can't drang and drop music onto the memory card. You have to plug the phone in and have it as an external drive. You can't have folders with albums as sub-folders aren't recognised. You must use a play list which is limited to a set number of tracks. As a phone, it would be 4 stars, but as an combo, sorry..

I got this phone 4 months ago and I still love it. The camera is great, the flash is very handy and it produces great quality pictures in the dark with the flash switched on. The text messaging is just as easy as any other phone. I like the fact that if you are half way through a text message and you press c, it asks whether you want to save to drafts or not. The memory is good, although I use alot of it on pictures so mine is running out. The software is ver easy to use and install to your computer. The games are OK, although most of them cut off half way through and ask if I want to pay to download them. The looks of the phone are excellent. This phone is great, definitely buy it, you wont be upset. (Y) Ellen xxx

This phone is a nightmare, if you breath on it, it will do it's own thing, forget texts, you loose them half way through, and the number of contacts which it has rung with no intended instruction from me is crazy. It is so sensitive as to be ridiculous. don't buy it under any cicumstance. The star rating dosn't go low enough!!

Nothing but problems! Doesent accept memory cards anymore, doesn't work with PC anymore, battery charge lasts 24hours if lucky, clock randomly resets itself to random times, occaisionally randomly just continuously vibrates for no reason. the phone is only 6months old! And the touch buttons are just rubbish... Had a D500 when they were new and had nothing but problems with that, decided to give Samsung another chance when i got this phone, but definatly wont be having another one!

This phone looks good and is a nice phone with alot of good features. The battery life only lasts 2 days when full which is bad if u go out on weekend. When on the phne if your cheek touches the pad it ends due to touch sensitive. If you have alot of items on your phone for example pictures videos the phone laggs and takes ages to load up again. The camera is ok but is very sensitive if you move it comes out blury, the video seems good and no problems. The music player is loud and can hold about 12 songs without no memory card. If you are looking to buy this phone i would deffently buy it, Its cheap has alot of good features but it may lagg but u can get used to the touch pad etc.

This slim lightweight phone,is a great fashion phone.But.When it comes to the sensitive buttons it is very had to keep control of the phone as the slightest touch will make it flip onto another page.The camera is not brillant as some of the pictures will not be up to ur standard.The battery life is not that brillant to.

I wish I'd read these reviews before I bought this piece of junk . It's got a mind of it's own and it's sorely missing on basic functions , auto answer or VOX being the most obvious for me . How on earth are you going to use it safely in a car or at all on a bike ? The touch sensitive keypad , especially the position of the cancel button is an absolute nightmare . I can't believe a modern phone could be designed so badly .

This phone is great, is a nice small phone, with almost everything you would want in it. A lot of people say how the touch senstive buttons get in the way but i have never had that problem. The camera is good quality and has a flash which i think is a bonus. It is really easy to work. The speaker phone is great on the phone, however i do find sometimes that it isn't oo clear but that might not have anything to do with the phone. All in all its a great phone and def worth the money

I have had an E900 for 7 months now and am planning to buy a new one, the battery has never been much good,lasting 2 days at the most, there is no warning that the battery is low, it just dies on you, the touch keypads are not functioning properly anymore, the video and camera take so long to get in to that the moment has usually been missed by the time you`re ready. Looks good does a lot for the money but won`t last long.

I got the E900 about a month ago and even though it took me a couple of days to get used to the touch sensitive keys, after that I found it so simple to use. The screen and camera quality is fantastic and it is a very stylish phone. If you think you may not get on with the touch sensitive keys then I wouldn't recommend buying this phone because some of my friends when playing on my phone found them very annoying as they kept cancelling things! However, I personally found this phone the best I have ever bought, get on with the keys really well and it ticked all the boxes for me! Thanks samsung for yet another great phone =D X

I just purchased the E900 I was using the Sony Ericsson V630i but just felt like changing. Even if it might be better than the E900 I didn't care anyways this phone is great it's got all the same features as my V630i. Bluetooth, Music Player (maybe not so good), 2mg camera but with onboard flash a thing my other didn't have, and it's lighter and smaller too. 1 issue is the sensitive touch can be annoying as your texting and just a simple graze on the CANCEL button and you've lost your text. But it's a fantastic phone all round a member of vodafone said it locks up alot but so far nothing. It did shut off I think when enabling bluetooth not sure what happend but it's defo gets 4/5.

i got dis fone for my birthday and absolutly loved it it is the best fone i have ever had i love the touch sesitive buttons the fone it self has great features like changing ordinary numbers to sticky notes or quill pen i highly recommend this fone as i have it in pink the onli bad thing is itfalls apart kinda easy

ok guys, this phone is a style. who told samsung and LG that a touch buttons can work with a phone ?? this is stupid, if I have to take care not to but my fingers on some areas and always look at the screen to not-get the wrong result, that's not a phone thing . the usability of a mobile phone should make you able to handle calls easy . eg. when I'm driving i don't want to look at the phone like a make-up box , i just need to handle calls. more over : the end-call button sucks, you can barely feel it. the ring volume sucks I'm always having missed calls. you can't handle the phone with your right hand while the headset/charger is connected to the stupid place. the only thing I'm happy about is i bought it as cheap as 125$, also too much money for samsung CARP. this fone is the worst phone ive ever owned. its hard to get used to the rubbish reaction touch sensitive buttons. i mean if your writing a text and you just mearly slide your thumb too far right on the directional buttons the end call button gets pressed and you lose everything. but if you are trying to press the buttons they dont do anything. its frustrating! i seriously recomend the SE w850i. ok its slightly old now but for a phone its jam packed with gadgets. now thats phone. someone said on the w850i review that if your looking for a phone with more gadgets than james bond then this is the phone for you. they were not wrong. the best phone ever. if youve got this rubbish e900 i say get rid of the dog doo in phones clothing and buy the number 1 looker. thats my opinion any way but hey whatever floats your boat. i hate this phone. is hate a strong word i dont think so, not for this one. samsung i thought better of you, you went downhill after the d600. that was g ood but seriously go with the flow and choose SE yo. lol! honestly, SE w850i, best phone ever.

I fink this fone is gr8!!!! i bought it a few months ago and i never want 2 change it!! its so stylish and funky!!! I've got the Samsung E900 Pink. It is more red than pink but it's sleek and doesn't look cheap!!! This is the best fone i've eva had and i am so glad i picked it!!! I wuz so pleased with the samsung quality that i persuaded my dad to by the D900i, he loves it!!! I fully recomend this fone to anyone!!! It is probably more suited to people with thin fingers because of the touch screen i love It!!!! I think u should buy it!!

Had this a year now pretty rubbish really: camera is the worst camera ever, one slight movement and your picture is blurry rubbish memory touch screen sounded cool, but often deleted texts by acciedent, but you get used to it after a few months about 8 months ago i sat on the phone cracking the screen. i wasnt allowed to trade it for anouther one so couldnt see the top right corner of the screen so never knew the time really put me off samsungs as they seem to brake very easily

i loved this phone!! its been a great little phone for me! i fell in love with this phone for its bright red colour, and was a little sceptical about buying it due to the touch sensitive buttons, but they turned out to not be as much of a problem as i had anticipated! the people on here who complained about the buttons just haven't got the patience to actually give the phone a fair trail, as although they r awkward at the start, once u've used ur phone a while, they r easy to adpat to! my phone is extremelly hard wearing! i have dropped it soooo many times!! lol, im such a clumsy beggar! and its never broken, i drunkenly dropped it one night and 4got to pick up the back, and so have been using it for at least 2 and a half months without a back and it has not been a problem! ive hardly noticed! i also melted it with the hair straighteners! i know im a phone abuser! and its still going stong, and looking great! if you dont mind having to get used to something new (the buttons)then id recomend this to someone any day! i am upgrading to a samsung u600 now, i can only hope this is of the same quality!!! :)

I have had this mobile for a while now it is really good but it is really anoying coz it is touch screen and you end up pressing all of the wrong buttons! The only good thing about this phone is its look it is so preety on the outside but so hard in the inside

The phone is good but i have had mine for about a year now and it has started to conk out. it freezes when i turn it on, and you cannot do nothing apart from take the battery out and start again. it sometimes says insert sim, when the sim s inserted correctly. and it also says "unrecognised, format?" when i want to go on my memory card. i press yes but it says failed. the volume is not very loud on it if you like to play music. apart from this, it is ok.

I love this phone! It rocks! I love the camera and the touch buttons and just everything! Everybody who complains about the touch buttons shouldn't have bought the phone! After a few days you get used to the sensitiveness and get on with using it like any other. Buy this phone!

Samsung E900i. LCD screen cracked within 2 weeks of purchase - it was in my pocket and 02 said it was so sensitive that you need a protective cover for it - not great having shelled out �130 for it from 02. 02 insisted that screen not covered by 12 month warranty. Local shop organising repair, they say LCD screen is so thin that it breaks easily and they are doing a lot of repairs.

this is a very good phone but the thing that annoys me is that the touch keys are far to sensitive. when your looking through your music and you accedantly touch the cancel button the your back to the main menu. the mp3 player is good and it is very easy to put pictures and music on to it but it is a very good phone

Im a typical 16yr old lad and i have now had this phone for 5 months and i have to say this is the worst phone i have ever had. The Battery Life is rubbish, Lasts around 1.5 days. The Camera is also not as good as it could be. It comes with 2 themes and also it comes with no software that you can put on your computer to add or remove media files. The main problem is the touch buttons, you wil be on the phone havving a chat to your mantes and you will press the touch buttons acsidently and it hang up. I strongly recomend anyone wanting to be this phone not to!!!

I don't own a E900 but my friend did and i had a look at it. She had it in Pink, which the pink turned out VERY VERY dark pink and its basically RED ! When you want to take a picture, the buttons are TOO sensative, so you cannot feel what you are pressing, and its just VERY VERY annoying. The Camera is pretty good & the bluetooth, apart from that it is rubbish. I dont really like it at all. I'd rather have the G600 or the U700 or U600 ! I think samsung is tring to compete with LG ! It's just not working ! DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE .. Espeically in PINK !

This phone is the best phone that I've owned. The camera is great, the MP3 player and the menus are easy to navigate. The only thing that I have to complain about is the touch screen. It really annoys me when I'm trying to write a text, I'm just about to send it and I've accidentally brushed the exit button. Then I have to start over again cos it's gone back to the blank screen.

This has to be the most frustrating phone every invented. I am driven demented by the touch sensitivity. It takes soo long to do anything. It takes me three times as long to send a text or make a call, as it keeps reverting to a different page. There is no option to save a number received in a text from a phone directory or to train new words in predictive text messaging, as I had with my previous Nokia I am currently looking for a new phone. WIll never go with samsung again

Hate this phone, I have had it for 2 months and I am getting rid of it and getting a Sony Ericsson. The sensitive touch pads are driving me mad I have yet to send a text or take a pic without being sent back to the main menu or accidently phone someone. I had a sony before this and am going back to a sony. Camera is poor on the Samsung and so is the battery life. I would suggest to anyone not to buy this phone.

I've had this phone for four days now and on the whole I'm pleased with it. However, it does have a few irritating features! As other people have said the touch-sensitive screen can be a little too sensitive at times. I think perseverance and patience are the key (no pun intended). The most annoying thing as far as I'm concerned is the inability to save TEXT preferences i.e. T9/abc modes etc. I've also noticed that if you're in T9 mode and insert some punctuation T9 mode reverts back to abc mode when you get back to the message - arghhhh! Overall a good phone that is let down by some strange features and behaviour. Could have been a 10/10 but have to give it 8.5/10 I'm afraid. My best advice (and I wish I'd thought of this myself) is to try one out before you buy!

Best phone I ever had! I first bought the LG choc. but after i read some reviews i've gone mad after this phone. so i changed the choc for this one and i'm really glad that i did so!! this mob phone is really worth the money spent! Great camera, great mp3 player and great screen resolution. when i turned it on the first time i really wasn't expecting uch a high res. I really recommand this phone. Much much better than choc!

Why I like this phone: It's small. Why I hate this phone: When I reach over to turn off the alarm in the morning, I often touch one of the buttons accidentally and don't know whether I've put it on snooze or turned it off. When I hand it to someone else to take a photo of me they say 'erm I seem to have connected to the internet by mistake'. When I try to take a picture or any deliberate action and something else happens altogether. OK maybe I have do have big fingers but these stupid touch sensitive buttons are a nightmare. I can't use MP3 tunes to wake me up in the morning like I could with my wee tiny E350 and when I convert them to the right format they sound rubbish. DON'T BUY ONE!!

i like the touch screen to be really honest. the only thing that really annoys me is when your playing music and you press back it sometimes comes up with delete? yes of no?? that is the only fault i think either with just my phone or all of them. plus it is a great phone that always has signal on it which i need all the time to keep texting lol :D

i have now had my fone for about two weeks and it has been amazing. i do not know what everyone has been on about with the touch sensitive key pad, but i have had no problems so far. the phone in palces scratches easily but does not all phones. i love this phone it is just amazing. and if you are thinking of getting a phone i would deffinatly say that this one is a good one to get. some features on the phone take abit of getting use too but you can easily get use to them. AMAZING PHONE, GET ONE!

i have one,, and i spose it was good value for money but there are atleast 4 things i absolutley dispise about it �as a previous reviewer noted,the back button is a nightmare...it is so easy to cancel half way through a massive text or somthing cause it is toch sensitive and being right handed/thumbed it is inpractical i think touch sensitivity is a great function but they could have put abit of thought into the cancel buttons location or perhaps even made that particual key just a standard button. �compared to everyone elses phones the e900 is barely hearable even on the loudest setting �as far as i am aware there is no clip on speaker i can buy for it like previous samsung designs �the sound quality is pretty rubbish also as the sound that comes out is abit nails-across-a-blackboard esque rather than the pure sound other models emit �i cannot understand why on earth people are saying the camera is good quality as the differnce between taking the picture and it being on the phone is absolutley ages �this is also the case with pressing play and sound coming out of the darn thang �i really hate this phone and i regret buying it and awefull lot �also when you get a sd card.when you play memory card files in order to play a different song you have to stop playing it and go back to the menue and click on a different song insted of using the "next song"button,whick only works on mp3 player mode �the mp3 player has 4 playlists(you can re name them but cannot have more than four)that have a maximum of about ten songs each and thefore you cannot store your entire sd card on the mp3 player I understand some of these points i have made seem rather petty but when using somthing on a daily basis that i will not be able to replace fr a good year or so,,it is rather annoying to thinki could have bought somthing much better for just a little more money �the "pink" version of this phone,have you seen it,its not pink,,its red!!!! ive seen pinker cherrys tbh This phone is the worst ive ever had the only good thing i can say about it,is the network i got it on,o2,o2 is absolutley fantastic and i am so,so glad im on their network,they give you so much extra call time and are relly helpful,their voicemail service is easy to use,it really is great. Thats about all i have to say about that,i'll proberly think of more but there ya go! DON'T GET ONE.

ive had this phone for a few months now and ive been impressed. at first i was a bit put off with people saying the keys were too sensitive, but ive had no problems with them. everything is good, especially the camera, and if you buy a 1gb memory card for around �6 off the internet it improves the mp3 memory space by loads. but be warned, the headphones are really annoying and always break :(

I bought this phone for easter 2007, and i absolutely love it! I've had 0 problems with it and i am so so happy with it,,, it's a phone that attracts passers by! Whoever i meet wants to have a go! I recommend this phone to people with patience because it does take a few days to get a hang of the touch sensitive pad, but it really is a lovely phone,and i think its worth having! GREAT HARDWARE!

The Samsung E900 is the best mobile i have ever had. My boyfriend took me shopping and as soon as i saw it (in pink :) ) i had to have it. Yeah the speakers in the wrong place, the buttons can be a nightmare when your in a rush, you cant charge your phone and have the headset in at the same time,BUT other than that its the best phone. The good points, my battery lasts for days and i play music and receive calls none stop, the camera and video quality is great, the memory is massive so no need to buy a memory card (i have though for extra memory), you can view messages as vivid messages, the phone looks great, the feature are good. What more can i say, but i love the E900, i even bought accessories for it. :) By the way i had an LG, the Samsung wins hands down xx

I Ordered the phone on ebay on friday, didnt know much about it. i was looking on reviews and most are brilliant but some are bad. i think that if you are reli clumsy with phone dont waste your money, but if your ok with them then you shud BUY it.. I must let you know the person i bought it from has had his for 6 months and is in brilliant condition.. no scrathes. zilch! i dont know whether he got fed up with the touch screen. but all those people that are saying its a rubbish fone are strange.. !!

Woot. Had this phone, say like two days. Am totally in love. Proper little sophisticated phone yea. (Y) Touch pad can be a bit annoying at times, but I've gotten used to it now. Music sounds great through 3D spesh through headphones. Colourscreen is mint, and camera is loads better than my 3MP 7390, Maybe because it has auto-focus or something. This phone is beautiful. I really love it. Even my boyfriend wants to rob it off me, cause he likes it so much. Maybe I should give him my PINK 7390 yea? XD

i purchased this phone two weeks ago and on the first day of purchase the screen went so had to go back and replace,then the second one lasted me two more weeks when finally i had to take it back AGAIN as it kept swithching on and off repeatidly.But my experience of the phone when it was working was quite good,the touch sensitive buttons i found a little annoying though along with the central navigation key, but overall the phone has great features only let down by poor design.astheticaly the phone looks fantastic as many of the reviews here state.The slider function was a little light and kept opening when putting in my back pocket for instance.i could browse the web ok albeit in its short hand form and sent texts and e-mails ok, but i have to say it has put me off the samsung brand a little with the reliability problems as its the first phone i have bought that has broken down on me within the first month of purchase,perhaps i was just unlucky.Converstaions on the phone were a bit patchy even though there was full signal strength so maybe again down to phone provider(vodaphone) or just poor quality antenna in phone.The black plastic case looks great but scratches easily and the front panel of the phone gets covered in thumb prints all the time and constantly wiping it clean.The camera and video function are excellent(2mp) and provide some really great video stream set on the high res option and one of the best i have seen on a phone of this spec yet,but i found it consumed alot of battery power in doing so.The screen is a good size but dreadfull to see in bright daylight and often i would struglle to read texts even with my hands around the screen!.overall i would give the phone a 6/10.

i have had the e900 for 3months and it is the best phone i have ever had my old phone the lg chocolate i had to get rid of it was rubbish but the samsung e900 is hevenly its super clear screen,touch pad and smooth slide it is light weight and has a very impressive memory i have 19 songs on mine and still over 1/2 memory but when your half way through a 2 page text and you accidentilly touch the cancel button that is annoying however i recomended for every one get it now!!

i have had the e9oo for around 3 mnths and i think its the best phone i have ever had with its stylish sleek design and touch sesitive buttons the only problem with them is that when your half way through a 2 page text and you accidently touch cancel then your done for but the camera is soo clear and the games arnt the best ( thank u java ) and it does get a bit grubby if you have sweaty handsbut i am amazed at the memory size with it i have 50 pics and 8 songs and still have over half memory on it i would recomend this phone to any one who want a stylish classy phone with bluetooth and a camera to die for this is for you

Had this phone for ages know and i use it everyday its not half bad. Cameras rubssih and blurry round the edges and loading music of the memory card is slow.. Also you can only have like 10 songs in one playlist.. Mp3 sounds a lil tinny but overall ok

Bought this phone out of the catalogue �79 Thought it looked very nice in gold, got it home & within a week i had to charge it 3 times! Not happy with the texting as I like predicted text (T9) & it automatically reverts back to ABC even when inserting symbols, I phoned Samsung up & apparently it's the software that's on to make it do that because it's defaulted to ABC. If you're writing a text & you accidently hover over the touch cancel button it deletes it that also includes anything that you go on it'll cancel if you catch the touch cancel button by mistake. So, I had this phone approx 3 weeks & reverted back to the Sony Ericsson 800i I've also got the W550i (wonderful phone). So all in all: Battery life rubbish (wish i'd read the reviews before I bought it), The look is nice if that's all you want, Handling for me is rubbish but If you've got patience then go for it. Lets put it this way I've swore more since having this phone!

Touch sensitive keypad is a pain. The absence of voice activation is a real nuisance - it makes legal and safe in-car use very difficult. It doesn't charge itself when linked to a computer via USB - other phones do so why not this one? Simply not good enough and I would not recommend it.

HAVE HAD THI PHONE FOR A YEAR AND WILL BE GLAD WHEN MY UPGRADE COMES AND I CAN BE RID OF THIS PIECE OF RUBBISH. anyone that is looking at these reviews because they were thinking of buying this phone, listen to me. the samsung e900 is the best phone i've ever had. the good things about it is that its really stylish so you can show off to people, its touch sensitive which sounds cool, it comes with 6 games already installed, i'd say that the e900 is quite small, very good quality. the one sort of bad thing about it is that you can sometimes press the cancel button by accident but apart from that i think you should get it because i got mine a week ago and i still havent put it down. best phone ever!!!

I got this phone as an upgrade yesterday and am gradually getting used to it. Ive not had a slide phone before and the touch keys are a bit too sensitive sometimes and don't respond as quickly as normal softkeys but I am sure I will get used to it. I love the look of the phone and its easy to use the menus. I am sure I can customise the phone a bit more and change the settings to what I usually have (hopefully). I have been using my E900 for just alittle under a week & yes its all brilliant ( camera especially superb quality photos ). Compared to the D500 which I've had for a year it's taking a while getting use to but there's not a huge amount of difference & I would say given time it'll be fine, the only fault I'd have to say I'm finding is the touch sensitive pad tends to be extremely rapid at times more so when trying to go further in the menu/ trying to replt to texts etc reverts back if idle for a few seconds. If this is a problem that might easily be solved in the settings but I have failed to find anything that may delay this so if anyone does know please say ??? Would be ideal for the more experienced / quick response with using this typed of keypad tough I'm sure with a little more time anybody will have to like it loads

This phone is the worst mobile I've owned so far. I love Samsung and thoguht this would be a good upgrade but the touch buttons are a nightmare. I only wish now that I'd read reviews on it before I bought it, which is why I'm writing this now. It takes forever to send even a basic text as if your thumb brushes over any of the keys by accident then your text is either lost or the wrong word goes in. Playing games on it is the same and you can be in the middle of something and it will suddenly cancel off becuase of those too sensitive buttons! After a few short months I hate this phone - all I can say is that I'm always finding that IT NEVER DOES WHAT I WANT IT TO DO! I also find the charger tricky and fiddly to fit to the phone. It's a flat connector that doesn't always clip fully in. Quite possibly one of the worst designed phones around. I'll stick with Samsung but one of their more conventional models.

The samsung e900 is agreat little phone it sits nicely in your pocket and to hold it is fab. i think samsung could do with tweaking the touch sensitive keys as it does take alot of getting used to.How ever the only down side is that i brought this from an o2 store and i have had 4 phones as numerous faults developed and after numerous calls to the store they eventually gave me a phone (hopefully problem free).The camera is brill and takes good photos but when you have a video to play it only plays in a small square where as other phones play in the whole screen (does anyone have this problem) or is it the make of phone that does this?The battery seems to last for only a few days and the screen on my previous samsung get scratched really easily. Its a pity that you cant play mp3 as message tones above all i think samsung has produced a good phone and i will be sticking with samsung in the future.

OK how about a phone for us 'oldies'? Well this is not it! First I have to put on magnifying glasses to read the text letters so thats 0/10 for a start. Then there's those annoying touch sensitive (far too sensitive) buttons. I was sent this as an upgrade - sent it straight back.

Oh dear. A very poor performance from samsung. As mentioned in other reviews, the touch sensitive buttons are an irritation rather than a feature. slow with photo albulms and texting is a trial. Yes it looks nice but that's not enough. returned to supplier after four days. Avoid!

THIS IS THE WORSE PHONE I HAVE EVER HAD. i got an 18month contract in Febuary. and got this phone within 5 months it had broken, it kept freezing and restarting itself when i was txting, renaming a photo playing a game ect so i took it back and got a new Samsung e900 thinking that, that problem was a one of. i have had 4 different phones since and had the same problem with each, my bad luck? i think not. I have got another Samsung E900 again as carphone warehouse refuse to let me change phones, And the newest problem to add to my collection is. When i turn my phone of The white lights on the Touchpad stay on. [making my phone still active Not useful when on plane Journeys Plus it Wastes the battery.] So in order to make the lights go of i have to take the battery out. :O And then the next problem when i turn the phone of and the lights are still on. when i press the button to make the phone come back on Nothing happens. It stays a black screen. I have to take the b attery out and put it back in and then it turns itself on IN MY HONEST OPPINION DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE IT IS COMPLETE RUBBISH I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE WITH IT . This phone doesnt even deserve the 1 star,.

I loved this phone (i don't have it anymore cos it was stolen in the US, it got too much attention) anyways the phone is sexy. I bought it August of 2006. The picture quality was amazing, even for a 2 mega pixel camera phone. the sound quality awesome. Mine came with some music videos and I had a good time watching it. I wish that the play list was longer. I upgraded from an e316 to the e900 so it was definitely a huge step up. The touch screen is somewhat annoying until you get used to it. It just makes it a bit difficult to stay on the phone. I chose that over the d900 and I did not regret my choice. It is really tiny and I had to buy the phone case to help me keep track of it. 2 thumbs up for samsung.

My sister first got this phone on contract, and i loved it so much that i had to buy it on pay and go. for the first few days i loved it. it was brilliant and holds about 20 songs. however after several weeks of this phone, the downsides started to show. the battery life is very poor, lasting a day at most. the camera also broke with the screen flashing negative on and off. the screen also scratched extremely easily in my pocket. the touch screen also takes some getting used to. i only paid �59.99 for it, so overall not bad for the money.

i have had this phone for 6 months and it is perfect! i have not had one problem with the touch screen buttons, and on a call it is impossible to hang up with your ear touching buttons! people complain about using the internet or not enough music, BUY AN IPOD if u want music with great quality! and people who 'cant find' message tones just are too lazy to look properly as there are 10 diff ones and 20 ring tones and so easy to find! anyway i love this phone and the camera is great and i would recommend it to anyone!

consedering that all my friends told me that this is a rubbish phone well they told me wrong. I have only had this phone 2 days now and i have already got 10 songs, 1 video and about 21 pictures on there and i am not even half way through on how many it can hold. I love it and for those people who are in need of a new phone go out and buy the e900 because its fab!!

i have this phone and have done for a long time now... i have to on a contract and i think it would have to be the best one so far, also when i sent off my phone i found the people to be very helpful and quick. Even though this phone maybe hard to start when you 1st get this phone i did nothice the 1st week was dificult to use it but after i found it very usful. Had the phone for about 6 months now and quite please with it. The screen quality in very good especially when compareed to some of the other samsung phones available. The software is not bad and it has some nice features. There are a few things I am not so keen on (to follow) but I certainly dont think they would make me say that I regret buying the phone: Keys (the number keys) - You seem to have to dial numbers slowly - I like to type my numbers quick but it has trouble keeping up. Keys (touch sensitive) - Takes a lot of getting use to and even after 6 months I find them really anoying and would have prefered the good old fasioned push buttons. I am not so pleased with the camera, although I am yet to see a mobile camera I am impressed by. I wish the text input system would default to predictive text, but maybe its just a setting I have not been able to locate? I dropped the phone some months ago onto the payment and while it now has a dent on the case, it never affected the phone so I give it an A for robustness.

Well.. I have had this phone for almost a week. I had it through an update on my old phone. I'm carrying the manual around with me ..lol.. and I'm probably only using about 50% of the functions. All said... I love the look and feel of the phone...although when its not in use.. it looks like it is off , there is no permanent display - which I miss. the touch sensitive buttons seem to be VERY sensitive..so this needs a bit of getting used to. The Camera produces super quality pictures. I havent tried the MP3 player yet. I still have the option to return it to the store, but... i think.. i'll probably keep it.

I've had this phone for over a year now and upgraded to the samsung d900I pink and although it looks good I'm afraid it will only ever be second best compared to this little beauty. the samsung e900 is the best phone IN THE WORLD!!

This phone is great, it looks really cool, and is nice and small/light. I found that the touch sensitive buttons don't take long to get used to, and make the operation of the phone easier, i think! Replacing my v3i, i think this phone is MUCH better, clear camera, memery card slot cool :-)

this phone is very good it has own files for you and your phone you can get los and lots of sonds on it i mean watever song you wand this is like the best phone if some-one calls you you don't have to press any botton's you just slide it up and talk and you can get it other out of silver pink or black mine is black and it really nice so you ust give them a try it takes time to get use to it but when you do get used to it you'll love it so like i said give it a try

i cannot believe i paid �100 for this phone. the quality was poor and i found the touch sensitive keypad a wastre of my time it was so easy to muck up with the buttons so i suggested the samsung D900 because it is practically the same but much useful and not as easy to slip out of your hands or pockets which has happened to me a number of times i am now saving to get a D900 a much better phone than this one.

ive had this phone a few months now and it was good until the screen broke due to pressure damage from sitting in my poket the slide is now broken because a small amount of pressure almost snaps it so now it clikes and gets stuk whan i slide it camera is ok ive had no problems with that but the torch on it lasts only about ten seconds. it cannot load any downloaded apps like msn and games. ive had to take this phone into the shop twice to get it fixed vodaphone isnt the best service and i had to sine contracts

decent phone, good for anyone really apart from maybe people expect loadss out of it! camera somtimes is too light, but apart from that, great! CAMERA 7/10 MP3 player 7.5/10 menu's 8/10 looks 9.999/10 whole thing 8/10 battery 7/10 touch buttons 9/10 what the hells wrong with them? giving this phone a chance, the battery really isn't as bad as people say it is, it lasted me 4 days, not playing many mp3's. And to be honest, whats wrong with charging it? cant get off ur backside to plug it in? Yes, i know we need a decent battery life, and this has it! Samsung have made small touches to it that make this phone a good one! E.G changing the font when you text and video calls, memory slot 2mp camera really, from www.vodafone.co.uk on pay as you talk �92 really is nothing for this great phone

well what can I say, i was on holiday when I accidentally dropped my d600 in the sea...BABOOM! So, after loving everything about the samsung decided to get another. A great phone all round, camera - 2.mp great! Memory - 80mb + expandable with MicroSD and Transflash (which it doesn't say in the review above.) I love it's look and appearance. now for the bad news: the touch sensitive keys are a pain, it's soooooooooo easy to press 'back' when your reaching over to press another and the pad is easily made grubby, even with your finger print. Also I wish the video had the 'pause' feature like the d600.

This the first Samsung mobile phone ive purchased, and I can safely say im very impressed with it. I must admit my big hands dont get on with the touch sensitive keys all that well, but I will just have to adapt. Other than that it works very well I have downgraded from my k800i which refuses to function charge or do anything. Although this phone has been out a while now I would recommend it to anyone

Bought the phone for �40, nothing has gone wrong. All the phone needed is a Micro SD card so I went for the 1 GB Micro SD. Touch Sensitivity is OK but can easily press the wrong buttons.

I won't write a heap here but I must say one thing: It is SO easy to get used to the touch sensitive keys - ignore ALL reviews that state they are a nuisance - they are fine after a while. Everything else about the phone is superb - a good phone for anyone.

Whenever I show this phone to people, they argue that the touch buttons are too sensitive. I encourage them to keep trying, and within around half an hour, they are desperate to have it for themselves! I didn't buy a memory stick for mine, and I hqaven't got any use for it at the moment, as most of my friends, even with the biggest expandable memory they can get, do not have as much memory as me!!! I do agree that the phone is more suited to a female market,as the touch buttons may be pressed two at a time with bigger male fingers.

I've had this phone for about a week now, the touch-sensitive buttons are a bit of a nightmare, I have quite short fingers so my thunb is quite often hitting the cancel/back button. But the uber sexy style seems to make up for it in my opinion. Right now the battery life only lasts 2 days, im hoping that will change in time when i get over how much fun it is to play with. I've had another samsung before which was another great phone but i needed an upgrade. All in all the E900 is a very good phone, with a great camera.

The phone looks great, but is easily scratched - I have now bought clear plastic screen covers, which have helped slightly with the 'oversensitivity' of the fancy light up buttons too; these used to do all sorts of weird things mid text and mid photo. Texting is much more complicated than it needs to be, I don't want to have to press umpteen buttons once I'm ready to send. Managing messages is a whole big pallava as well, you need to ask it to delete, tell it whether to delete 1 or all, then confirm that you want to delete - just blinking delete it the first time I ask...grrr. Which means I've always got loads of messages there, cos I've not got the time to go through all that malarkey every day. Also, the managing of images is a bit more unwieldy than is necessary, I won't bore with the details, but these things are supposed to be intuitive, and this phone certainly isn't. That said, the "oh, that's a great phone" comments have made me hang on to it. The good rating is based purely on the looks, the functionality is poor, which is a shame because Samsung is my favourite brand of phone

I am now ending my contract and have had this phone for 12 months but felt that for anyone wishing to purchase this phone in future I should review it based on a full 12 month experience. I would say the phone has been relaible for the majority of the time, occasionally it has a habit of switching off when I give it too much to do at once, the memory is reasonable if you are going to use it as a standard kind of phone rather than a specialist music phone type and the picture quality is also pretty standard with this type of phone, the only thing I have found with this is that the touch sensitive buttons are always quite awkward and I have had the tendency to cancel text messages I ahve been sending also if i take of charge and put in my pocket too quickly then the keys can remain active meaning I call someone in error with all that in mind I am still oving onto another phone with touch sensitive keys (U600) so they cant be that bad. I would recommend this phone if y ou just want an average all round experience and are not too fussy about having the next big thing

to the editor all the prices on phone websites are all reconditioned on (2nd hand) if you check in the store theyre much different the e900 is 100 quid in carphone warhouse. The cheapeast place is virgin order it cos its much cheaper.

Here is a review from someone about to uograde after a year of experience. Most people get their new phone and get all excited and give it a gr8 review before they have rele tested it. Here are pros and cons (cant b bothered to lay it out properly, this phone doesnt deserve it): Pros: -Looks good, very good. -nice and light -handy camera and mp3 player buttons on the side -brilliant video capture, the best out there ater all 3.2mp phones (apart from k800/k810) Cons: -poor battery -It bloody vibrates unmercifully when low on battery, it does this when it wants. It woke me up at 3am last week. -When it is low on battery you cant do stuff like use the camera or play games but it is happy to waste battery vibrating... -Scratches easily, ruins look -The mp3 buttons are only active when the mp3 plaer is on sooo it doesnt look great having unlit buttons on the touchad. doesnt look right... -Photos and videos wont bloody save to teh memory card. you have to move them -you cant use mp3s for ringtones and pictures for wallpapers if they are on the memory card -Photo quality is poor for a 2mp camera -Touchpad can be annoying. for example. texting and then accidentally touching the end call button makes u lose ur text. -Speaking of which, AWFUL BUTTONS FOR TEXTING

this is the poorest phone i have had in my life the camera isn't good as my dads sony k608i camera is FANTASTIC if it had buttons istead of touch sensitive skin it would be BETTER.it is better than D600 and D500 because of the shape and memory card

Great Phone, Had for just over a year now.. Only down fall is that it doesn't automatically save your sent text msg's. you have to press 'send and save' which is a pain if you forget and you need to look at what you've sent. Other then that.. after a year it's not scrached and still working, had no problems with it. Ignore what people say about the touch sensitive pad, it's fine!! Godd, sleek lil phone!

This is a brilliant phone, with its slick look and cool colours i was amazed when i saw it, and had to buy it. When i got it i was not dissapointed in any way, yes, the touch pad is sensitive and can cause a few minor problems but if u get used to it its fine. The games are a bit annoying having to pay but i will get over it because over all it is a good phone with good memory etc. Love it!!!

my screen went when slid it so havn't had much use vodafone shop didn't want to know, so i have to save up again for repair, if the screen goes the first time you use it "Bad Luck they wont want to know" age11

I'v had this fone for around a year now and it looks great and all BUT IT STINKS IN ALL OTHER WAYS!!! the touch sensitive buttons are DISGUSTING!!! and they'v cost me so much money in the past because any slight touch on the pad when it's unlocked and u'll be foning someone in your phonebook without noticing and losing atleast �5 just like that. ARGHH!!!!, The fone has frozen on many ocasion's aswell and its so damn sloww!!!!! the touch sensitive bottons are a joke and don't work when u want them to and work when u dont even want them to. BEWARE OF YOUR BODYHEAT ACTIVATING THEM!!! SILLY DESIGN AND JUST FOR SHOW! NOT A GOOD FONE!! SAMSUNG SUCKs IN GENERAL AT FONES EVEN THOUGH ALL IV HAD IN THE PAST ARE SAMSUNGS AND THE ONLY GOOD ONE WAS THE D500!!! DONT BUY THIS JUNK GUYS!!!!!

I think the phone is good, althougth when i put the memory card in, i have noticed that it takes aaaaaggggggeeeeessssssssss to load, and also my videos are notplaying, the sound is but not the picture, i sent it via bluetooth to my other old samsung phone an it worked perfectly... also it keep s freezing on me, but i think this is coz of thee memory card... but ending on a high it does look very stylish and sassy when calling and holding it upto your ear... and no the touch screen buttons are not hard to handle!

i bought the phone 4 months ago then suddenly the screen turned bright white.i rang the customer care line and they were no help at all.they wanted to charge me just for them to have a look at it.they say this was caused by impact damage or too much pressure/i am not a kid and look after my phone it is not just thrown about.i bought this phone because it was a good name and although it was a little more money than i wanted to pay i thought it would be better obviously i was wrong i will never buy samsung again

This is a stylish sleek phone and much better than the lg chocolate. The only bad point is that it doesn't seem to have a silent mode but anyone can live with that. I think Samsung have done them self proud. I would recommend this also as it is a brilliant value for money.

the E900 is a nice looking phone theres 1 problem though if your not careful when opening and closing it you can damage the phone as its really sensative ive had a new screen put in mine and its already playing up keeps showing half a screen then lines come up. looks good ifyour looking for a reliable phone i suggest the k800i as thats the best phone ive ever had .

well i personally think that samsung have done themselves proud and i don't know what you are complaining about the sesitive buttons dur the are going to be sesitive the camra if you want better photos get a camra (i think he camra is great) the sound get a walkman or a ipod (but again i think that the sound is great i don't no what you are all comlaining about

The E900 is a phone which I got on contract in November. At first the sensitive key pad did annoy me but now I have got used to it its not to bad. The camera and video are also not to bad with a fairly good battery life. The major thing that however lets this phone down is the software faults with this phone since November this phone has had to be sent off twice rather annoying when I have lost all my numbers and the photos which I had taken. I would not buy another samsung phone again good design but poor quality stick to sony Ericssons.

I got this phone about 5 months ago. I have to say it looks really cool! but I have found that sometimes it crashes when i try to open the music player. Some things that you expect it to do as standard it does not like I can't make it ring and vibrate at the same time or set my personal text message alerts. but it dose have a great picture quality and camera but its a bit sensitive. All in all if you want a cool looking phone that has some good features and that is at a good price this is the one.

What a load of rubbish, the screen jumps off all the time, the camera is rubbish and the battery life is pants. I wish I'd never got it and stuck to Sony Ericsson that I know and love!

i think the E900 is one of the best phones i've seen so far but very frustrating, Why? clearly the touch sensitive pad, because when ever i'm in the midde of doing something my thumb slides a little and cancels what i'm doing. But appart from that i have no problem with it.

Great little phone. The best I've ever had. The touch sensitive buttons are fine, once you understand how they work, much better than click, clicking all the time. They won't work if you have gloves on though. One small problem when you are on a call the screen goes black to save power, if the line goes quiet you may think you've lost the call. The camera is fine, but rubbish in low light. It's still a great phone, especially for the money. You can get them at a good price now. I'll be keeping mine!

Had my phone a few months now and have really got no problems with it. 2 small niggly things if anything. You can't change the txt alert from the ones set in the phone and the touch pad is sometimes annoying. Have got used to the touch pad eventually but still hit the cancel one a few times. But other than that great phone. I will try and not take this one swimming with me when i go on holiday this year.

this is an apsolutly ace phone. the only problem i've found is that the internet conection doesn't work sometimes and the speaker quality isn't all that good but dispite of all that i got a 4gb memory card so i can put nearly all of my music on it. the games are great part from the fact, there only trial games and u have to buy the full one. 10/10 for this phone, i don't know wat people are on about when they say that the touch screen is bad and the ringtones are crud. buy this phone and DDDOOONNN'''TTT GO ANYWERE NEAR NOKIA PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a great phone, the only problem is the touch sensetive buttons, but you get used to them after time, and if your a child then you have small fingers anyway! But I really recomend this phone to anyone!

this an absolutely fantastic phone! i love it! the touch sensitive buttons take about a week or two to get used to but after that they're not a problem at all. the camera is great although it takes a while to actually take so it might blur. also the screen is fab. the quality is just brlliant. i advise anybody to buy this phone as it is great for every ocassion! I have had my E900 going on for almost a year now and until now it's been a pretty solid phone. However unfortunately at the moment the Touchscreen is starting to stop functioning. You flip open the phone and none of the touchscreen lights appear and you can't access the menu because of this. So I have to start jamming buttons on my keypad for about a minute until I get a working touchscreen. Hopefully my 1 year warranty will cover this, I think the phone overall Is ok, not necessarily a solid build and using the camera is a pain because by brushing the touchscreen you completely move away from the camera mode. Although it pleases me in most areas.

Generally very good, at first it can be easy to accidently hit the touch keys but you soon get used to it. The most annoying thing for me is that the Mp3 player application cannot play through files in subfolders, and cannot organise music by artist or album, making organising your music difficult, also, you are limited to 4 playlists. Overall a good phone, but if you want to often use it as a music player, look elsewhere.

This phone is ok besides the poor build quality, the fact you cant add more than 25 mp3s in a play list ow ye the fact it reboots and don't connect to many nokia phones. I have properly reviewed this phone as i have had it for 180 squid when it first come out. So i know its problems ow ye the battery sucks aswell and the headphones are well just not very goood

This is a good phone overall, however: 1. it scratches too easily! 2. the battery only lasts about 2 days, and then only gives about 30minutes warning that its going to turn itself off. 3. the layout for the memory is bad, I like the way tht sony ericsson do it better! 4. its annoying, you accidentally hit a touch sensitive button in the middle of looking at a picture and.....its gone! grrr! still, the camera quality is very good, and i like the slide function, it is very smooth! unlike the sony ericsson w850i. it lacks an fm radio.

I took it back to exchange after a day. With texting it was all too easy to erase the whole message by skimming over the clear button as I moved up to navigate. Plus it 'sings' every time it sends a text, and when switching out of silent mode - both completely unnecessary, and for me, annoying. I couldn't find any way to switch those tones off.

Well,the samsung E900 to me is a all round simple ,fun and up to date phone it has a 2 mp cam and can fit a memory card and has got bluewater so basicly for me thats very good because i like to take pictures on demand and play a tune when im walking around on my own .Also i love to swap and share my photos and songs with my friends on the way to school so the spec of the phone sounds medioca to excellent but the downfall of this phone is those damn touch buttons which i hate . . . :@ so final verdiced is BUY this phone if you dont mind touch buttons much love .

This phone is absoutely dreadful. It is the embodiment of style over function. The touch sensitive buttons are a pointless gimmick which makes the phone extremely user un-friendly. Texting is a nightmare, you write a text and then brush the phone with your thumb and cancel the whole thing. i hate it with a passion and am gutted I'm stuck with it for another 12 months. I got this phone for my birthday last weekend and was unsure about it......but I have to say that it is fantastic! The sensitive keys are annoying at first but once you get the hang of them they are easy and quick to use. Bluetooth, camera and music, videos, pictures storage are all great. The battery is Ok but better then everyone makes out. The only thing is I dont know how to download songs onto it! Oh well. Fab phone!!

my frend has this fone but i found it horrible i dont even think it looks that good!!!!!!! i personally have the lg choc and the touch pad is soo much easier to use on the lg!! you get a game wich u dnt have to pay 4 and it is cheaper in most places!! on the e900 the camera is not very good even if it is 2mp i would suggest the lg choc rather than the e900

I love my orange samsung e900!!!It's so cute and petite it doesn't add a bulge to my little purse. It also matches my orange car and Ipod. The touch sensitive pad is amazing and the mega pixel on this camera is so clear. Its like having an actual camera. I love this camera lets just hope it doesn't drop cause it seems to be really sensitive and break easily if dropped even a tiny bit.

This is a great little phone, I have had this phone for a year now and everything still works like it is brand new. The phone is also very sleek and stylish with the lovely black casing. Ive found the phone very easy to use and the camera and other features on the phone are great!! The only negative thing i have to say about the phone is the touch screen buttons are so sensitive that sometimes im writing a text and then ive accidently deleted it all but once i got used to the phone i didnt find the buttons a problem

I Have NO Idea of importing songs videos or pictres from my computer to my phone...the whole reaon i got the phone was soo i could get songs i wanted on there...its an utter dissapoint ment and i spent 100 pounds for nothing to be quite honest...VERY dissapointed.

I got this fone today. What can i say! Its fantatic! Its not hard to use and easy to get used to. I dont think the touch pads are to sensitave atall. I have just upgraded from a D500. This phone is alot better. It is brilliant! :)

people talk about the e-900 as being rubbish but they can't chat. The e-900 has everything u want it to. the phone can be in active whenever u want and tht is great because then if u move about alot and the phone is in ur pocket it can't do anything. the memory is brilliant, not the best but good. I hacve just brought a memory card 2gb 4 it and it was only �10 a bargain. my friends think they have beauty but wen i have mine thney just their mouths to the great. i also have a case 4 the phone to help it. the phone is brill every1 has to buy 1.

I bought a Samsung E900 in Geneva, Switzerland, last number... it was just absolutely the 'coolest' phone I have ever handle. Unfortunately I misplaced it during a recent family emergency. Ever since then, it has been like someone has died in my family... I miss my E900 like it was a person. Perfect phone.. tha buttons are a lot easyier than the LG Chocolate. A MUST BUY it is espeshly good for teenagers. I got my 14 year old daughter a pink one n she LOVES it.

I brought this phone last year july time and i still love it! the style of the phone is sexy and the features are excellent aswell! however the battery life don't last long and the touch sensitive buttons can get anoying coz they get pressed without u actually meaning to press them as they are too sensitive! apart from that this is one solid phone and i would recommend this phone to somebody who wants a sleek easy to use phone.

Had this phone for 3 days - had to return it- drove me MAD! touch sensitive buttons are a pain in the backside - half way thro a txt, if your thumb happens to be anywhere near the back button-then you lose the whole txt. Also it can very easily dial any number from your contacts list without you even tryin-if your left thumb wavers anywhere near the left button. Apart from that it was fairly easy to use. getting z720 as replacement tomorrow.... who knows what that will be like...!!

Great phone - looks better than the D900 and the camera is also much better - but watch out! I bought this phone before Christmas for 180 pounds at Phones 4 U and immediately after they dropped it to 150, then 100 and now it's only 80 quid!!! The touch is NOT fiddly and once you're used to it you can't tell the difference between a normal phone with buttons. CAUTION!!!!! Carry this phone arond in a case or something that will stop it getting scratched - it scraches extremely easily!!! And one last thing - take care of it. My one's LCD cracked and now i have to either buy a completely new phone or get another E900. What should i do? I have been looking at getting a Sony Ericsson K550i which is similarly priced and has a 2 megapixel Cybershot camera. Tricky Decision! Overall a great phone (if you take care of it!!!)

I got the E900 1 day now, and i must say, 1 of the best phones ive ever had. Very easy to use, as it looks well stylish. I Recommend this phone to people who like phones who look good and have an easy meny. A bit rubbish is the touch senitivity, but its not a big problem, u go automaticly back were u were whit 1 button. Camera is very good aswell!

Hi,just bought an E900 and it is my first new generation phone.The E900 is an impressive phone for the money with a good easy to use 2mp camera and video capture,the mp3 player is equally impressive although i found the samsung software difficult to use and will download music and photos to the optional micro sd card in the future as the transfer process confused me.It is very small and light and has very good looks,i have heard that the finish of the phone deteriorates quickly and a protective cover is advised.My large fingers meant i very often end up inadvertantly touching one of the touch sensitive buttons and coming out of the function i was in and back to the menu.The battery life is quite short compared to what i have been used to and this is probably because of its many features and functions means you cannot stop messing about with it for the first few weeks.This is a great mid priced phone and i hope the review did not sound negative as i would recommend i t to anyone with a bit more technical knowledge than myself.

I've had this phone for a few days. Personally I really like it. The only thing is that its sometimes easy to accidentally send ur text message to drafts (and I don't have big hands)You just have to be careful. But there is no way to exit the "to drafts" menu as far as i can see so u have to go to it afterwards. It looks really nice tho and I think it is a very stylish phone. My other quibble is the stereo headset which comes with it. I have found it to be hopeless for listening to mp3's as the sound is very wishy woshy, even when the 3d mode is turned off. I really hope this is the headset and not the fone!

I would give it a 4, but it does say that its the e900 pink...But its not! Its more red than it is pink! But other than that, it is a great phone! It has got ideal memory! And its very shiny, glittery and stylish! It is also very easy to get used to! I love it! The only thing i have to say is that i recommend that if you do purchase it, that you are not clumsy like me because it does scratch very easily! But other than that its brilliant!

I LOVE THIS PHONE the style the camera and video quality. the net is brill when not near pc. only really irritated with over sensitive touch key pad. in messages you have to start again. when doing some simple stuff it goes back to screen saver. it also has a mind of its own on menu sometimes

I kniow quite a few people who have got this phone and they have thort it ok, but then i have had it for about 7 months now and in that time i am on my third one as it keeps breaking, it wont charge and when i ring up the manufactures they say it is a falt on the phone so it cant be my charger i am just glad that i took out insurance otherwise this phone would of been very expensive, so i recomend either dont buy it or make sure you take out insurance as i am not the only person this has happened to. thanks.

i eagerly awaited the delivery of my e900 - my d500 (on vodafone) had been soaked in tia maria, and also had been through the washing machine so the robustness of samsung was the main reason why i chose it. however - it was within a matter of minutes that i discovered how irritating the touch sensitive buttons are. they really don't suit this kind of technology, it only takes a fraction of a second for your finger to hover over the button and call someone you don't mean to, or cancel a call you are in the middle of. the firmware - this disappointed me. i bought 2 memory cards of 1gb memory, and neither worked. later i discovered the software in the version of the phone i have only supports 512mb and below. samsung said they would charge me 30 quid whatever happened, and orange seemed to enjoy telling me my 6 month period of guarantee ran out the previous weekend. this phone has a 2 mega pixel camera, but to be honest i prefer my old d500's camera. the e900 takes dodgy pictures in the dark, and when it's too bright the brightness control on the phone only seems to drop the brightness, not the contrast. (or is it the other way round?) i'm currently just over halfway through my contract, i can change my phone again in march 2008. i'm already looking around trying to decide which phone to get next!!

This phone is ok, but nothing to rave over like so many have done here! Had a Sony Ericsson before this and it was much easier to use, I had forgotten how annoying Samsung phones were untill I bought this! The best thing about it is that it looks good. But if you are going to get it, get a black one, mine is the gold and I know a few people with the pink one and scratches really show up on them compared to the black. It's quite light too and the screen is nice and bright, but the battery life is awful and the camera isn't very good at all. And it makes too many little noises, like everytime you send a message, or if the battery is low, it wastes even more power by bleeping at you to get you to charge it. Another thing is that you can't have it vibrating and ringing at the same time which is a bit stupid. Overall it is a nice looking pretty phone, but that's all really. Nothing to get excited about.

I had my Samsung E900 for christmas and i haved LOVED it ever since.It looks really stylish and glam but it is a very good phone. The camera is brilliant and so is the memory. I have bought a memory card for it though because i wanted a lot of songs on mine. I must admit the touch pads can be annoying occaisionally but it REALLY doesnt bother me. I am glad that its not all like that though, seeing as the LG Choclote is VERY annoying =]. The fact that you cant have a personal text message alert doesnt bother me in the slightest, i rather like my alert anyway! Baisically i think this phone is amazing and i would reccomend you too buy it =] x.

I was in split decision between this and the SE Z610i. Though the mirror effect of the SE z610i was attractive I went for a Samsung instead and have yet to be disappointed. I have had this phone for quite a while now and i am looking for antoher, i am pleased with what samsung came up with and very easy to use, looks good and would definately recommend it. The bad point is that it gets scrached really easily and you cant see the screen in the sun.

everything is perfect, really clear camera, and video recording, geat mp3 player i could go on BUT the only dessappointment is the sensetive buttons even though it gives the phone a glossy, glassy look and lights up if you touch it, but its really annoying its waaay too sensitive, if your phoning sum1 and your nech touch the cancel button on the phone then thats it, it suits girls that really take care with the phone and use it ver delicatley and care about the looks and wanna show off, but if you are really rough or just dunt care about the looks go for the w810i the only thing is that its a brick but it can deal with roughness even if it falls hope i helpd

i had this phone as a present and there were a few things i found wrong with. the first thing was the touch pad. whenever you are texting someone, you always hit the clear button on the right and it cancels the text which is annoying, and also the second thing is that you can only fit a limite3d amount of songs on there because there are 4 playlists which hold on 30 songs each, so if you are after a music phone this is not the phone for you !!!!

E900 don't work with T-Mobile and keep going into a reset cycle !!! I tried the phone on O2 and Orange and it perfectly works, but it keeps reseting itself when I use the T-Mobile SIM card. Thinking the phone is faulty, I've got the phone replaced but the new one also didn't work. I even purchased a new T-Mobile SIM card, but nothing changed... Good old Motorola... Why did I change it...

I got my samsung e900 back in september '06, and so have owned it for 9 months ( i am currently in the middle of an 18 month contract). i previously owned a d500 - and it was superior in all ways. the camera on the e900 is nowhere near as good although it it 2 megapixels. the phone is slower, and the biggest problem i had with my phone provider was that my version of the phone is older, and so has older firmware. this means my phone wont support memory cards of more than 512 mb. also - i have suffered from the same touch sensitive problems as many other people. it's certainly NOT the way forward for mobile phones, i reckon it was just a gimmick and we all fell for it i'm afraid. next phone i get will have standard push buttons, although i will stick with samsung as the phones are fairly solid (the aforementioned d500 went through the wash in my shirt pocket, and also survived being soaked in tia maria!)

i got this phone in sweet pink but its like redish its a quite a good phone but it is hard to use,because you go 2 press one of the buttons on the touch keypad and you end up pressing the end call buttton and yuo have to start again.I have also heared of people on a important call or speaking to thire friends and the touch the end call button and it turns off the call.Overall it is a nice phone and easilly fits in your pocet and the memory sticks are not that dear

Cannot belive this phone. Borrowed my Wife's E900 for what was meant to be 2 days. After just a few hours of the stupidity of the functions of this phone I took my sim out and put it back in an old Nokia from my sock drawer!! Big button in the middle would be good if every time you touch it the phone did not connect to the Internet. Touch screen controls that cancel your whole message right at the end because your thumb slips. Samsung E900, I would prefer to catch Cat Aids !!!

This phone is absolute rubbish you need to charge the phone nearly every day, you have to stay absolutely still while taking a photo or it just comes out a blur and after carrying the handset in my pocket one day it broke and when I took it to be fixed under warrenty I was told it couldn't be as it had water damage probably from condensation, there was no warning not to carrying the phone in your pocket! RUBBISH

i got this phone the other day for my birthday. i haven't put it down since! excellent camera quality. i was wondering whether i should buy the Lg chocolate but was told that the samsung E900 was the better choice. the only bad effect i have encountered is the touch screen. i keep getting sent back to the beginning whenever i get close to the cancel button. but all in all, a very good phone.

Not a bad phone on the whole. The touch sensitive buttons take a bit of getting used to. Very impressive 2.0 mega pixel camera. It doesn't take to being dropped very well and it broke after falling from my pocket while cycling slowly. Lots of useful features and all round quite an impressive phone.

When you first get the phone the touch pad is really sensitive, also i get very frustrated because i cannot access anything without it sending me back to the main menu 10 times, and i cannot write a text properly without it closing. positive sides is that its stylish, great picture quality and a good speaker and also if you are put off by the memory, buy a memory card, its easy!

Have just sent my second phone back as it was just as bad as the first one.When you are in thye middle of writing a message it switches itself off. The battery is very poor and doesnt even last 24hours. It brings up screensavers which you canht turn off and whilst they are on noone can reach you through call etc. DONT BUT THIS PHONE!

I got the samsung e900 for my 10th birthday in april 07 . I think it's ace . Not only does it look mint but the games and speed is 2 and the quality of the camera is decent and i'm thrilled with it . If your wondering about buying the samsung e900 i definatly recomend it and for the price you won't regret it as the phone is mint .

Ok, so i bought this on contract with orange. great contract. not so great phone. ive just sent it back after having it for 2 weeks in exchange for a d900 because i cant cope with the touch sensitive buttons. seriously, they just arent practical. ok. it does differentiate it from all the other phones out there, but that doesnt mean its better. the buttons are slow at responding and dont always respond. and as pointed out in many other reviews, you do often touch the wrong button my accident. the camera...is ok...in very specific conditions. most of the time it fails to focus properly (as in ALL the photos i took were blurry. if you want this fone i beg you to reconsider. its very impratical. its a samsung so theres a limit to how bad it can be, the software is good and fairly easy to navigate round. but the d900 is the same as this fone with none of the major flaws.

This phone is good, but not outstanding! the main problems that me and most people get are that the battery life is rubbish. it needs to be charged at least every day!!! also, the touch sensetive buttons are REALLY ANOYIN!!! if i skim ma hand accidently over the buttons, they cancel everything

i think this is a very good phone and the graphics are brilliant, it is a very easy phone to work with but the touch screen can be a bit anoying sometimes, but overall it is a very good phone.

Great phone, But it really is too sensitive. This phone has great features and looks fab BUT I don't care what anyone says, this model HAS been rushed in to compete with the LG Chocolate. The sensitivity is the only problem and would probably get more great and outstanding reviews if they had waited just that bit longer to add an easy to find function on the phone to turn the touch sensitive mode off! Well done Samsung! U made a BIG BooBoo to a great phone!

Firstly This phone is great!! I bought mine second hand about 2 weeks after it came out! i started off by finding the touch sensitive buttons a tad annoying but after a few days of playing around with it i had no problems. you can buy the phone for as little as 99.95 (carphone warehouse with �10 credit on orange - unlocked so afterwards you've used up the �10, you can put your old sim card back into it) The Look it great and it weighs nothing! It has a good 82 Mbyte Memory and a mem. card slot which you can buy a 1 Gbyte mem. card for as little as �17.99 (HMV best buy) I would reccomend this phone for anyone and everyone! (under 70ish!!)

My friend has this phone and at first it looks really sleek & stylish however when you try using it the touch-sensitive screen seems IMPOSSIBLE to operate! Maybe you get used to it after a while..! Having said that the camera is superb and the sound quality is great. Only problem is my friends has a habit of turning itself off..! A cool phone overall.

Got the E900 a few days ago, very happy with it but the touch screen is a nightmare, its to sensative for my liking. Picture quality is very good and have got my own tunes on the MP3. overall not bad but will be sending it back for replacement. I have the gold one and my daughter has the Pink one but it is more red than pink as advertised.

Well i got this phone on a sunday but had to take it back a week later with a faulty camera it flased green and purple so that went back but other wise is a good phone and it isnt too sensitive but it is better for people with smaller hands/fingers uther wise u will have probs battery isnt tht good have to charge it everynite which is a pain overall i wud call this phone good but not the best hope this helps Mel x

I think the samsung E900 is an outstanding mobile phone to buy. It has a 2 megapixel camera and touch buttons. The buttons are very sensitive so you have to be careful that you dont press anything by mistake. The E900 has bluetooth connection so that to can send and receive files. You can also buy a memory card so you can have more files. If you are getting a new mobile phone then you should definitely consider it.

I'm very careless when handling my things. E900 has withstand the rough handling very well for almost a year now. It had been dropped several times, placed amongst my bunch of keys in my carry-all, stained with ketchup while eating and texting. BUT!!!! its a definite winner. No problems with connection even when travel to europe, america or far east. Screen is smooth to touch and unless if you scratched it real deep. For a nokia immigrant, it's an easy transition. The size is definitely an appeal to the ladies. Only setback, music player volume is very basic and volume, not that great. Still, its my best phone to date.

This mobile is driving me mad! The sensitive buttons are a pain, im constantly having to rewrite txt messages because i hit the cancel button. Ill be reading a txt and before you know it Im ringing the person without realising Ive touched anything! I wish I chose another mobile!

i think this phone is one of the best phones ever made!! its a good design light weight but the only thing is when its in my pocket it presses the buttons and sometimes it rings people i dont want to ring !! but apart from that it is a very good phone.

This is the worst phone i hace eva had. i love the look of it but and i love the touch pad keys but the phone keeps on switchin it self on and off when it feels like it, i have taken it bk to the shop 3 time now and all handset have the same problem. 2 of my friend have the same problem with theirs but didn't take out the insurance so they are stuck with the phone on a whole don't get it it is poo

this phone is gr8, has gr8 functions and a clear camera. this phone may look very nice with the touch keypad but it's a nightmare. it's so easy to hit it and once you do, it just goes out of anything you're doing. the other prob with this phone is that it is slow when viewing pictures or whilst browsing through. it became a true nightmare when i bought a 1gb card for it. it would just crash and restart. i now bought a samsung d900 instead of it and it's a beauty next to the e900.

Great little phone replacing my old nokia. camera is very good texting is easy and you can get this phone quite cheap these days! I have to agree with everyone who mentioned the touch buttons, how 'clipping them' can mess up the writing of a text message or taking of a photo. However, im sure ill get used to it.

Lisa - to get default predictive text, go to new message, select options, go to 10 (input method) go to 1, T9Ab, select, and it will use that every time. I think this is a great phone, managed to get a pink one via the internet, and find the menu system quite easy. Obviously it takes a bit of getting used to, as with anything new, and I agree that the touch buttons can be a nuisance, but I'm getting used to them. Photo quality is excellent.

I got this phone yesterday and I love it. The touch pad is really sensitive and rather annoying but I think you will learn to avoid it as you get usd to the phone. I have mine in pink (well its more of a red) its probably the best phone I have had. Its nice to look at, and the actual buttons (used to text and dial) are great! I would recommend it!

yea not a bad phone looks amazing!! takes time to get used to the touch sensitive buttons and for some reason during a text it will cone of predicted text which is really annoying may have to take it back today for a replacement? and i need to buy a memory card to as it has little memory! cameras brilliant and its easy to use.

This phone is the best iv had. Although the pink one is not actually pink!!! its like a red colour. texting on this phone is a pain, due to the touch screen. But other than that it is a brilliant phone, and it is very solid as i have dropped it numerous of times and it still works.

Generally this is a good phone But when it comes down to all those little things you want to be different from others it is not so good. For one i cant stand the alarm tones and especially the text message tones. i downloaded a borat text message tone which was supposidly compatable but can only be used as a ringtone???? y would u want a ringtone saying you have a message??

I think this phone is just brill!!!!!! Its the best phone i av seen in ages, well apart from the LG Choclate but they brake really easily, and i got it 5 days ago! The camara is ace and the video is really good! Some people say that the touch pad is no good but i think its really good and i didnt have any trouble in getting used to it! I had the V220 Nokia phone and it broke in 6 months so i got this phone and its much better! Ity has alot of new stuff on it and i give in 10/10!!!!!!!!!!!! If it is your first time of buying a phone i wouldn't get it as it is quite complicited but this is the best phone in 2007 and beats the LG Choclate any day!!!!!!

Ive had this phone for just over a day after getting it when I upgraded from a previous Nokia. I have to say so far no problems all the way, the design is sleek and compact. The touch screen itself can be annoying as you can keep gliding over the cancel button. Saying that it doesn't take much to get used to and then its no problem. Texting is easy to manage and the keypad is decent sized. The camera quality is great and I especially love the Mosaic feature where you can take multiple pictures and they are merged together in a certain pattern. Its great! Imagine my surprise when I found lemmings on my phone, I did a leap for joy before finding that its not the full version and now I need to pay even more cash for the full version. Annoying but I can live without games anyway. The only thing in fact I can fault this phone on is not allowing you to have your own music as your alarm clock or text alert tones. That said every other feature is working smoothly and I can only hope it continues to run so for a long time!

I upgraded from the D-600 which was a great little mobile. This one has been a nightmare. The buttons are too sensitive resulting in returns to the basic screen. The number of times I have had to rewrite messages is ridiculous. My wife upgraded at the same time to the red version and she has had the same problems. Too long in framing photos results in the collapse of the camera function back to menu, although the photos are excellent once you manage to take one. Battery power has been a big disappointment also. This one does not last as long as the D-600 and the indicator may show two bars left but still the phone switches off as the battery has become flat. With all its functions it could be a cracking wee phone if the sensitivity and battery were sorted out.

I had been using a D500 and got an E900 with my contract-but I keep going back to the D500- the E900 drives me mad-almost before you touch it, it is SO sensitive. Has anyone got good advice on the best way to use it- I tried again tonight and again it goes off on its own!!!!!!!

i have had this phone fone from about 3 weeks after it came out in the u.k as long as i have had it the fone has had all my needs i just wish it had more memory without having to have a memory card. the fone takes briliant pics. because i was so exited about the fone wen it came out i went and bought the black one a little while after my mate bought a white 1 i was a bit jealous at first...but i am happy because you can see all the scratches on it! on mine you can only see the big ones! i love this fone it is the best i have had but any advice to samsung: keep the looks the same just get more memory space on there! i love it tho

DO NOT GET THIS FONE!!! the fetures are ok but its so annoying i nearly threw it in a lake! the touch screen is too sensative .. your calling someone and then there just suddenly gone as your face only lightly touched the end call key. there are so many things that you go to do but then something else happens because the corner of say.. your thumb touches something else .... its a bag of junk ppl !!!!!!!

this phone is great it has everything on it a normal phone needs and plus more extra features for fun...! If you are hesitating to buy this phone i would cause it is the best phone i have had yet...! I got this phone for my b-day last month, and it's a pretty good phone. Looks good, the camera takes good photos and has a reasonable memory space. But having just come from a Nokia, there are huge differences between the two brands: This phone has few ringtones with it, mostly rubbish ones. The Samsung 'Fun club' doesn't have many good ones you can buy either, and the 'free ringtones for members' on the site is poor, since the free tones are rubbish jingles. The battery on this phone is poor compared to a Nokia, I have to charge it every three days or so, even when I first got it. Otherwise, few complaints. Bear this in mind before you buy!

This phone is brilliant!! Ive got to say that the touch sensitive keys aren't annoying at all and are really, really easy to use, but that may be because I already own a touch sensitive Creative Zen MP3 and have got used to that feel. Although its now a long time after it was released it is still the best affordable (�99)!!! samsung on the market, and the best one anyway aside from the D900. All the features are very refined and easy to use, and the design is stunning to look at. After moving on from an N343i i mode phone, this is really a step up in quality.

I've had this phone for some time nearly a year, hardly any problems with it. Still works nicly everything is still good and fuctional. The things that havn't faired so well, the back it seems to scratch really easy and makes the high gloss finish look well tacky, the speaker for MP3 plying and loud speaker is a bit powerless sometimes bassing out and making people's voice's hard to understand or music sound really bad. But apart from those two things this fone is one of the best.

just upgraded to this phone from an e300 and i lurve it! iv had it 3 weeks now and only problem is the battery doesnt seems to last very long and im gutted because i have got scratches on the screen (my own fault due to a phone charm) The memory and camera are brill and i would recommend it to anyone.

Everything about this phone is amazing EXCEPT the touch sensitive buttons! You never get used to them! If you are right handed your thumb is constantly hovering over the cancel button which if you just brush against will cancel everything you're doing! An utter nightmare phone! One more thing - crolling through pics and videos make the phone unbearably slow.

Great little phone, its slinky and stylish, and once you've played with it for a few days the touch screen works like a charm. For those who have said this phone feels 'plastic and cheap' i disagree! The case is gorgeous and durable. It has survived me dropping it in puddles and down stairs. Despite the abuse it has received, I do adore it! The predictive text can be annoying as it wont always stay as default, but its a small price to pay for a beautifully packaged piece of equipment. MP3s sound crystal clear, the camera is top quality (2mpx), and the memory space is pretty generous (not to mention the option for a SD-card). Why have a box-standard phone when you can have an style and efficiency all in one?

THIS PHONE IS AMAZING!!!!! i brought it from t-mobile about 3 days ago and am over pleased!!! some of the problems people have been having with the e900 is just plain bad luck, because ive NEVER experienced any of those problems! so dont diiis dis phone!!!. overall, the phone looks gorgous more of a feminine phone in my opinion, which is great! yeah the keypad is a little to sensitive, but WHO CARES!! the battery is great and the camera is so clear!!! totally the best phone ive ever had. Outstanding mobile phone, only down side is the touch sensitive buttons that can be touched accidently. Very annoying. But overall, a very good phone, easy to use, easy to transfer from Phone to Pc. Design is very good, and a very light phone. Good camera.

Don't buy this phone if your family and friends send you video's.It will not download them.Yes my WAP settings are up to date.If all you want is a phone with text and photo messaging then fine other wise usless.

Next day after i got this phone i had problems with it cos it keeps saying "please wait Searching" whenever I send a text or even when its just sitting there and I haven't touched it. Its really annoying cos I dont know whether my has been sent or not. I rang Samsung support line and they told me to put the sim in another phone to see if its ok. I did and it was fine. When I rang them again they told me to return it to the shop as it might be faulty. I returned it and they gave me a new one. Worked for one day and back to the same problem. Still saying Please Wait Searching most of the time and dont know why this is. Fed up taking with it. Has anyone had this problem at all? Anne Hunt from St Ives, Cambs, England

Don't like this phone for two main reasons. One - the sensitivity of the outer buttons drive me mad! I cannot stress how many times I have almost chucked the phone against the nearest wall as yet again it cuts me off mid-call as my ear brushes against the 'end call' button, or cancelled a text as my finger has brushed against a button it shouldn't have. I am forever mistakingly calling someone I am texting as - AGAIN - my finger has accidently brushed against a button that it shouldnt have. Two - the sliding action was nice initially but within a week or two, it had already started to feel a little... loose. Now, 6 months on, it feels just about ready to fall apart. If you have the patience of a saint, and always have a bottle of superglue to hand.. just in case, then buy this phone.

i have had this phone for about 3 months now, and was told i wld get used to it, but i still hate it. im used to nokias n swapped because of the bad reputation they ahve been getting for phones crashing. The phone works fine but lacks many features im used to, such as vibrate and ringing working together, which means often i miss my calls because i cant hear it. You cant have your own songs as ur message tones or alarm which also irritates me, as u end up jumping for your phone everytime someone else gets a text. Im sure the phone is awesome for those who arnt used to these features, n most of my friends love it, but im gonna get the sont ericsson k810i next

I must say that i wasn't at all fussed about having this phone at first, but after opening the box and browsing around on the phone, i came to realise that it is very smart and easy to use! The touch screen buttons and the shiny look makes it look very stylish and also quite expensive, but the price was very reasonable. I was most impressed by the fantastic camera. When ever i am going out, i don't have to worry about carrying a camera around with me, as my phone takes an equaly good picture and has quit a large memory capacity therefore it can hold a lot of pictures too. At this moment in time i have 15 mp3s on my phone, 50 pictures, 10 videos and i still have 3250kb left (This is without a memory stick). All in all i would most defiantly recomend this phone to anyone!!

Got the E900 Last week and its great. the touch screen buttons take a while to get used to theres no memory card with the phone. but its got lots of stoprage room its the best phone ive ever had. so if u looking 4 a phone then this is the one 4 u.

WTF!!!!! this phone is amazing and any one that says otherwise have no taste in sleek and sexy phones... got this phone 2 weeks ago has no problems with it, i love that touch sensitive keypad i dunno why people are so twisty about it they must have really fat fingers lol... the only thing that really disappointed me was the fact that you have to have them lame ass default tones but ... i found a solution to that problem and if any one feels the same about the tone please write a review telling me and i will give you my email and tell you haw to set it to what you like.. amazing phone it is a must have.

I have just purchased a Samsung E900 and am getting used to it. Don't find the touch sensitive keypad too much of a problem, but it does tend to throw you out of things quite easily. I have found the end call/delete character key works well sometimes and other times I have to touch it two or three times before it deletes a character or ends a call. Has anyone else had this problem, or do you think it is a fault with the phone? Also, on reading the reviews what has been the problem with the phones which come in a black box as mine came in a black box?

i had this fone a month ago i throught it was brill ! until the buttons started canceling things ! when i did a message it took me ages 2 send it cuz it kept deleting all the message ! so i bought my self a z400 there really easy 2 use ! id give it 5 stars !

I've had this phone two days and I'm really pleased with it. The camera is very good and the pictures are clear. The touch sensitive keys may take a bit of getting used to but already I'm beginning to master it! The phone looks good and feels solid. I'd recommend this phone to anyone.

I got the black e900 for free with an O2 upgrade. It's looks gr8 and it very easy 2 use. I see some people have found the touch sensitive keypad annoying but it only takes a couple of days to get used to. If you want a slim lightweight phone with lots of cool features this is the phone for you.

I bought the samsung e900 a month ago and in my opinion it is an excellent phone. there are a few downsides though so lets get those out of the way.at the slip of a button your whole text message is deleted because of the touch sensitive keys, the message memory isn't particularly good and you have to buy a micro sd card which is usually included.the plus side to this far are many,excellent storage even without memory card, stylish and brilliant camera!

I have had nothing but problems with the recharging function of this phone since buying it in August 2006 - it is now not recharging at all and I have just been advised this is not covered by the manufacturers warranty!!

What can you say about this phone? Second only to the D900 this is one high quality phone. Great features, good looks, quality feel, excellent slide mechanism. Touch sensitive keys are excellent, this phone was an upgrade to the Lg Chocolate which I had for 6 months and I can say quite honestly that this is better in every major department than the Choc, what a bargain it is, want a new phone? look no further

The phone is nice looking but the touch sensitive keys at the top are soooooooo annoying, even if you just brush your finger over them accidently they work. Also when texting the cancel button is a bit slow, best to have key tones on because then you know you've pressed the right bit. Otherwise you press it again and then the whole lot goes. Not very impressed with camera either, ok with totally still objects but other than that is quite fuzzy. Preferred my old D500. Still think Samsung phones are the best though!

I have this phone in sweet pink! Its great and I love it! Apart from now and again closing the menu by touching the wrong button its easy to use but the touch sensitve keypad is VERY sensitive! If you have chunky fingers would advice you not to get the phone!
