Reviewed by Rach on 21-05-2005 I was very disappointed with this phone had it 3 days now, don't get me wrong nice phone style shape, graphics, the mp3 etc, but the call quality is so poor. its distorted even on low volume, got a d500 coming monday just hope the call quality is better. Rating:
Reviewed by Anthony Cowburn on 18-05-2005 After reading reviews at other places. Aswell as having my own opinion. Faacts about this phone made the phone even more worth my while. Read above that the menu is hard, you either use the shortcuts (ok maybee hard) or you can just stick to the normal menu by pressing.......menu. Personall i think its easy to use only just commin onto samsung from nokia. The style of the phone makes you keep it like i phone you want to polish constantly and not get scratched. Ok, not as good as the d500 in picture taking, but lets face it, a meg is enough for a picture on a phone, even when lookin at it on the computer. Will recomend this phone untill somthing better comes out!!!!! Rating:
Reviewed by Rita Roo on 15-05-2005 I love the Samsung E720! I did my research before I upgraded from the E700,reading lots of reviews and visiting different web sites to check out the features. My heart sank a little when I heard that so many customers had had problems with the sound quality when receiving calls. Nevertheless I decided to go for it. I could hardly contain my excitement as I unwrapped the phone(I love phones you see)! The case is very chic wih it's contrasting silver and black,it's also sturdy and compact. I worked out how to use a lot of the fetures quite easily due to having the 700 as I mentioned earlier. I still haven't got to grips with the video or camera yet and I am a little mistified how to download sounds for the MP3 player. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Do I have to get in contact with my network provider to enable the browser and do I need a disk to use the download? So dispite this confusion I am well pleased with my purchase and as they say practice makes perfect! By t he way I haven't had any problems with the sound quality since adjusting the volume level. Enyoy your new phone. Rating:
Reviewed by Allan on 09-05-2005 A nice phone but no very good if you are a business user working in a noisy environment as you carnt hear the phone ring. The vibration is pretty poor as I couldn't feel anything in my pocket when it rang therefore missed calls. I have just sent mine back after 3 days and gone back to the trusty Nokia. If you want a nice little phone to play with and show off to your friends then yes the e720 is the one. If you need to be practical then my advice would be stay with nokia carnt beat them. Reviewed by Janna on 09-05-2005 Great look, much prettier than D500 but missing key features like automatic tri-band - have to manually change GSM each time, unlike D500. Screen quality is much much better but sound quality when making calls is amazingly awful. Wouldn't have thought it was a newer phone. Returning it - what a pity. Rating:
Reviewed by Mick s on 01-05-2005 Got my E720 on O2 29th April. Love the Phone nice and compact great features however when making calls sound quality is terrible,so will be returning pity!!! Rating:

Reviewed by Rune on 29-04-2005 I think the phone looks great! I have ordered it, but still waiting.. guess it's here by tomorrow.. But is it true that the sound quality when calling is bad? some say it is, orthers say isn't.. just wonering.. Nice if your PHONE actually can call...... Rating:
Reviewed by Twister on 27-04-2005 What a disappointment! I was expecting a D500 in a clam, but this phone is pants. I can hardly hear what people are saying when I talk to them. Answerphone is the same. What use are all the other gizmos if I can't make calls? Going straight back to the shop thank you. Rating:
Reviewed by Lee on 20-04-2005 Was going to get the Samsung D500, but I'm glad I waited, because now I have a D500 in a clamshell! The E720 really is as good as the D500, but the clamshell shape is better because the keypad and LCD screen are protected from damage and you don't need a key lock. The buttons for the mp3 are on the front so you can use the music player without opening the phone. Neat. Love the photo and video, and really would recommend this phone. It's the best! Rating:
