I enjoy this phone and i've had it just over a year. It is areally great price and good if your not too interested in flashy little extra bits you get on phones these days. But one day without any knocks or bangs the phone screen just went of fuzzy and white. It was wierd!!! But with a couple of clever relations we swapped the screen of a phone that i accidently washed in the washing machine and put it on this phone and off we were again!!

Had this phone for around 2.5 years and while not having the greatest features it does the basic very well. It can text, dial, receive calls and thats about it - if you're looking for a fancy mobile with a camera, music player, touch screen and all that fancy stuff look elsewhere; if you're after a basic cheap phone look no further and get an E250.

i loved this mobile it is a great all rounder.Definatley one of the best buy's you can't go wrong with this, but annoyed me with it not taking wma's and occasional bad voice quality but i would buy it if it was my 1st mobile, i am now upgrading to tocco lite

I bought the E250 after the microphone on my E370 went dead This is a grrrrrrrreat little machine If u want a simple & easy to use phone then this is the one for you I have had mine for nearly 3 years a great keypad for sending texts Strongly recommended this mobile

Very Very good phone! although its not the best on the market its seen me through thick and thin and hasnt fallen apart. It's a cool design and comes in a range of colours. would recommed for a childs first phone! xx

I've got this phone at the moment and at first i really liked it, but after a while it gets abit boring, when i brought it i could only store 2 or 3 song on the memory and had to but a seperate memory card. I think that this phone isn't very good and if anyone i shtinking about buying this phone i would advise you not to. i am upgrading this phone to the nokia 5530, and i am sooo glad i am getting rid of it! after a while it feels tlike the screen is going to break, the little tabs that you move to get to the memory card slot and to charge the phone can break easily, and by cousin has the same phon and hers and broken off. i think that samsung could ah ve done a better job on this phone and i will NEVER buy another sumsung phone!!!

i've had ths fone for ages and it has never broken and it is of a good quality... the only faults are tht it is slow to access the memory card and itz not as smooth to slide up as the other fones.

i thought the fone ws fab when i got it last year ... but as it is now 2009 im finding it very out of date and very boring to use .. at xmas i am hoping to get a new one as this one is not the phone people should buy , its okay at first but is not very good e.t.c the battery runs quite quickly and especially quickly when bluetooth is on , the camera has very low quality but thats what you would exspect for a vga, overall i can't wait to get a new phone , this phone is a good starter phone if your buying a phone for the first time.

Wouldnt Reccomend - When i put a memory card in the phone, after about a month putting pictures videos etc in it, everything got deleted. The sound quality is not the best either. The only thing i like about this phone is that the radio and voice recorder are pretty good.

I have the samsung E250 and it's really good! It's really cheap for what you get and it's perfect for a first phone. The only problem I've had is that it doesn't come with games, you have to buy them. Apart from that it's perfect

Had the same problem with the battery cover. Tried Sandra's trick with the sellotape. Stick it to the back and pull - the cover comes off instantly. Thank you, Sandra!

I got this phone about a year ago and i really liked. But after a few days, whenever i tried to call someone it went really crackly and i couldnt hear anything. It has a good battery and you can get a sd card so u can have good memory.

I've had this phone since December 2008, and when i got it, I was very pleased with it, didn't think a better phone excisted. But I soon got bored of the games on it, and the bluetooth is a little hard to use, and the camera isn't very good, despite all the good frames and effects. I think the main audience this phone is good for is young children ages 11 - 13, and maybe adults 30-40. I am now switching this phone for the samsung Genio touch and hopefully not looking back.

I've had my e250 for acouple of years now and I'm very pleased with it, except recently I bought a 4GB memory card but, Whereas the phone has recognised it, it say's 'NOT ALLOWED'. My memory(phone) is 'FULL' , reason I bought the card, but it does not work.My users guide book doesn't explain how to use it. I spent �20 on a memory card that doesn't do anything.HELP!!!!!

I bought the phone yesterday on Oarange pay as you go.. for �14 ! its great as a back up phone while i look for a phone i really want.. (My trusty samsung z500 finally died on me so this is a tide-me-over phone) what can you expect for �14? lol Yes, it was a real game trying to get the back off that is a design flaw, but once in there, was simple to set up and all in all for �14, very pleased

I have had my E250 for two years now. It is a solid phone but after only 12 months of owning it the main buttons (call, arrow keypad etc) started to stop working. Carphone Warehouse, where I bought the phone, fixed it free of charge on the waranty but another 12 months down the line the buttons no longer work again. I don't know any other people who have the phone but it may be beneficial to find out whether it has happened to other people. I haven't mistreated it, its just very well used. Otherwise a solid little phone.

This is a great first mobile and although it is a basic handset, it's good for those who are new to modern technology. I have this phone in lilac and recently I recommended it to my mum who has it in blue. She thinks it's great as the price tag was good value considering it's features, it mght not be the best phone you could get but you can't go wrong with the price.

i got this phone a few months before the summer.. and it was great at first.... but then the memory is rubish.. and i can only have one song! :( also it has started to brake the screen... meaning when i slide it up and down it all goes to the side and goes fuzzy and it dont go back to normal for ages even if you take the battery out... i did like this phone but now its just rubbish.

BATTERY SOLUTION If you have treated your battery correctly like it says on the box it should be fine! Turn it off and charge it up fully then wait till it runs out completely before charging again battery repair JUST START TREATING IT RIGHT!!!!!!!!1 mY battery lasts for at least a week at a time! THIS phone is amazingggggggggggg completey love it

What an awful phone! I found that this is not user friendly at all. The message alert tones are ridiculously quiet and cannot be changed from the four listed. The punctuation is ridiculously long winded, taking lots of key presses. The memory is poor, the battery life short, downloading off the web a nightmare, and the instructions vague. And what's more - no smilies (lol!!!). Have now got a sony ericsson C510 and can't fault it. You get what you pay for - this phone is cheap for a reason, namely it's rubbish. Put me off Samsungs forever. *DON'T BUY IT*!!!!

Bit late I know for norma 8th Sept 2007 but after struggling myself for a number of days to get the back off an old E250 there's a simple way to do it. Press the "butt" of your hand against the back of the phone and just push forward. Easy Peasy now that my granddaughter has just showed me how to do it on her old E250. And Samsung phones look well engineered judging by that phone.

its simple to use but it isnt very good. the camera is rubbish and the phone easily scratches mine is covered in scratches. The back is also very difficult to take off and i am afraid it will break whenever i try to take it off. battery life is good as well

I have got this phone now and it is a good sturdy and practical phone. However, the memory is TERRIBLE! I can only store 1 song without a memory card. Also, the camera isn't great so I think it would be better suited to someone who is looking to buy their first mobile because it is easy to use and quite tough considering the fact that I have dropped it a million times and it has survived!

I bought this phone for my birthday, It was my first phone ever, and it turned out amazing. It is a very nice looking funny, and the features on it are brilliant. The games are fantastic: Pacman, Tetris, Zuma, and Brain Training. All of them are demos, but you can buy the proper game. The camera is good, not blurry, very good focus. Ringtones are amazing, Texting is very simple and easy, what more can i say? I love this phone! I will keep it until it breaks! and also, it is a very cheap phone. That may make it sound rubbish, ignore the bad reviews because the phone is perhaps the best phone you will ever come across. Thankyou!

it's inconvenient because the memory card slot is too narrow that you have a hard time inserting and removing it. also, it can't play downloaded videos around 4.4 MB. images moved to the memory card also become smaller, and when you use them as wallpapers, you get this two hideous gaps above and below the image. but other than that, it's okay. i have just brought this phone yesterday and i have a Micro SD memory card that i used in my old Nokia 7373 phone. When i put this card into my new Samsung phone it wouldnt pick it up. Although when i take the memory card out, it says 'Memory Card Removed' how can i make the card work?

I have a phone like this one a black one, and yes these phones are awesome BUT thats for only the time they last in, mine doesnt even last charged for a whole day thats one of the negatives. another is that ive had a couple of these phones and each of them have broken because of the charger

This phone is good. It gives you all the basics such as a camera mp3 plyer, video and bluetooth. The only thing that i am dissapointed about is that when i slide it, it has left a few marks up and down the phone. But i have used it alot so it probably has just started to wear away. Overall it is a good phone.

This phone is amazing. It has survived 1 year of me dropping it, getting it wet, being slamed shut in anger, standing on etc ect. I bought this as a tempory phone but i just decided to keep it. The thing that annoyed me was the fact that it stayed lit while on charge. Oh and I love the funky animation in the music player and the option of 2. The skins dissapointed me a tad though, the white skin is really tacky but the black skin looked so good next to the shiny black exterior of it. I have moved on from it now because it's not exactly the most hi-tech phone and my little brother has it and he loves taking pictures. (He's only 8 bless). Top notch phone.

I've had the Samsung E250 for 6 months now and have learnt to use it quite well the down points for me are - Can't Scroll through pictures in memory card Have to have headphones in to listen to radio Dosen't accept universal headphones without an adaptor Message, Call and Alarm tones bad Very little memory Bad quality camera You can't make the background stretch to fit White skin looks really tacky Bluetooth pictures really bad quality B..U..T... I think it's and average allrounder.

Had this phone for 2 years now and its great. Battery still going strong even when it got seriously wet. I dont want an all singing all dancing phone, just reliable with a few extras and this is the one. If you spend hours messing with phones, spend lots of money OR save your money and get this.

this phone 3 mnths old on o2 network. spent the last month in repairs wiv samsung .who r waste space o2 shop not intrested either constanly freezes on welcome screen or is in no network mode. every time returned back to me. not mended. would never buy samsung again especialy from o2 shop who couldnt give a stuff once sold.shame as i liked the desing. clearly a faulty phone agree the message alert and ring tone need improving to

Only had my E250 for about two months. The charge connector which was always a bit awkward has now ceased to work altogether. You get what you pay for I suppose, and not always what you paid for.

Trick to opening back - press down either side of the ridge on the back of the phone (quite a bit of force needed), then while still pushing down, slide it upwards. Phone is pretty basic but can't really be faulted (esp. considering how cheaply they are selling for). Bought this for my Mum as her first phone and it's ideal.

back of phone wouldnt come off so put my hand inside rubber glove used the rubber glove to push it instead of bare hand. Easy to do now. I bought this as a basic first time phone for my 10 year old son and think it will do the trick. However, the tone for the text message alert is really quiet and you cannot make it any louder which is a big negative to me.

I bought this phone about a year ago and it lasted well up until recently. THe buttons on the front of the slider stopped working. Then, after a week, it wouldn't turn on at all. I now have the motorola EM330 which is a good phone but I would recommend this phine if you're looking for something cheap which does everything then this is good. But if you want to store music you'll need an sd card. But the motorola is cheaper and better but i haven't had it for long so..

i think this phone is much like god, treat it well and it ignores you. treat it badly and you'll be sent to hell. good features for an all round average phone, the price is probably most notable. but i wouldn't reccomend it to others unless they wanted a simple-temporary phone to use (or a gift for a teenager/child)

i have had this phone for 2years and the only thing i find wrong is the ringtones are not load enough. when outside in the street or shops i have to look every 15 minutes or so to see if there are any missed calls, very annoying. and i am not deaf.

I bought this phone in '07 and absolutely loved it. Of course it is a budget phone so i couldn't expect the world, but it surely delivered more than i did. And it is rugged, took all the knocks and bumps with nairy a whimper i even stood on it once, accidentally of course. i love the music player though the cam is very basic. buy this phone cos at the price there is none better!!

its a great phone, but technology moves on SO quickly so this phone quickly qot old. My phone was VERY durable to drops scrapes and scratches. I would suggest this phone to anyone who isnt bothered about camera resolution and sound quality etc. but its still a great phone. :)

This is a decent phone. Just a shame that somethings that would make it even better are missing such as: a music player that can play while doing other stuff and some great things you find on Sony Ericssons such as MusicDJ etc....

i bought this phone after having my se w200i broken this phones ok but i have a few negatives about this phone 1. like signal reception i dont know if it was the network or phone but it was really poor 2. you couldnt put any applications on the phone it self however the music player is average for a entry phone but the camera is poor all in all a basic phone for teenagers

Bought this phone only two months ago. This is a very great phone in a low price . But still it is not the perfect phone. Display is very poor. Music is great and the camera is too poor for this kind of phone. The slide mechanism is not so smooth. The slide moves not only up and down but also a little right and left! If you are a rough user you should be carefull to use the slide. Better will be you stay away from this. The default message and ring tone are too too poor and you can set a ring tone but not the message tone.

well, this phone is ok, had it since august 2008 and is now january 2009. it is already scratched, looks plasticky and has already been sent in for repair. the tab where you put the headphones/charger into has come up and won't go back down. my dad has the same phone and got it at about the same time as me and his still looks like new, but i use mine all of the time. there are only 4 choices of sounds for texts and the internal memory is a bit rubbish. other than that, it has excellent volume for calls and is easy to use. is a great great phone for people who have never had slider phones before (like me!) ;)

what no-one has mentioned is the fact that you can only do one thing at once on this phone. For example, if you were sat on the bus texting someone, you couldn't listen to music at the same time, whereas you can with a Sony Ericsson, which I believe are the best phones, closely followed by Nokia. I bought this phone in lilac in September because it was cheap and my other phone before it (a Sony Ericsson) had a faulty screen after a particular unfortunate event. Anyways, like I said, you can only do one thing at once which is really irritating, I agree that the battery power goes really quickly and the camera isn't that great and I love to take pictures. And for all of you who paid �20 for a memory card, you've been robbed because I paid either �6.99/�7.99 so �20 isn't really that cheap tbh. I bought the phone for �29.99 along with the card from the 02 shop. The phone does have a lot of features yeah but there aren't any games on it for when you're bored and the buttons are frustrating. Like someone said earlier, it's so easy to hit the reject button by mistake when receiving a call and you daren't lean to one side with the phone on your shoulder or else you end up cutting off the conversation completely. If that isn't bad enough, this REALLY shows how tacky and cheap Samsung really is because the charger, the little part that goes into the side of the phone broke off! there were two gold coloured points sticking out and I obviously couldn't fix this charger or use it again so I've ordered a cheap one off play.com I'm then going to charge it up and take everything off then probably get rid of it. Sony Ericsson is soo much better, and, in the long run, for the sake of your mentality and good health (lower stress levels) I don't think it's worth buying this phone unless you can cope with all its vices. p.s. the rubber part that you have to move to put the charger in won't stay down which looks silly. However, the music is great on mine, plays straight from memory card but yeah the default message tones are lame.

I have not had this phone very long, but am very pleased so far. Sleek and stylish looking and the slider works smoothly so far. Minor quibble is that the ridge at the bottom of the phone makes the bottom row a bit awkward when texting. BIG quibble is the so-called users guide. It tells you what the phone can do - but not how to do it! And all on cheap and nasty paper.

I bought this phone, registered it and put it away in a drawer for a month (as it was supposed to be a Christmas present). When I next tried to use it, I got only an 'Insert SIM" message, and nothing I do removes it. Unfortunately, I mislaid the flimsy Tesco receipt and so they refuse to refund the money or exchange the phone. Even if were made to work, I would never again trust it to function properly when required.

Well, I've had this phone since last december and all in all, it's pretty good except for one thing: I tryed to go on to bluetooth and it told me to enter pin, and I couldn't exit that screen. After trying for 3 hours I gave up and had to buy a new sim card. However, it is a decent phone.

Brilliant phone! Got it from t-mobile for �29, I was worried about reports of the back not being able to be removed and not being able to download music - but no problem! Everything is easy to do, lots of features and the sound quality is excellent! May buy a second battery to carry with me on long trips to act as back-up if I can't recharge the phone. I can't see a phone costing three times as much being better!

My E250 will lose signal in cold weather UK so not so cold just will not pick up a signal even wrapped up and in a warm pocket. works 100% and an excellent phone if not a cold day. camera not brilliant. Wife and daughter have same phone all bought in Nov 08 mine the only one not working correct sorry it is the wifes second e250 other one same trouble as mine. going back to nokia even though a we all have had samsung before with no problems at all

i got a black one of these phones for easter last year i loved it. when i went to school with i found a week after i had bought it loads of people had it.i recomend this phone to people who are thiking to buy it for some ones first phone or some one who just wants a easy cheap phone. after i had my first one the screen started to get lines down after resaerching it people said that it was broke inside. and it was just unlucky. after that i got the same phone no different because it was one good phone as well as cheap. and saves you some money. i am not a person who normally buys a phone and fall in love with them but this is my 5th phone and i have had no better yet. hope this helps i do recomend this.

its a good phone for the price doing what you want. The battery life is a problem because it needs charging daily. You could try a MP3 compressor instead of memory card and to unlock the prone for free, take out the SIM card and turn back on and type #*7337# and put the sim back and its unlocked.

okay, this review is a balance of positive and negative. firstly, i like this phone because it slides.secondly it has a memory card slot (micro SD)and thirdly it is a fashion garment! but, its speaker is very low, the slider is stiff (well, mine is a anyway!) and the camera is pretty rubbish! overall this phone deserves a 3-star rating

I bought my dad this phone over a year ago and its been brilliant for him. I paid �44 for it. Today (5th dec 08) i got an upgrade allowance of �40 from my network provider and i was able to get the the same phone in blue for free! Currently i have a sony ericsson w890i and its the biggest waste of money ever. I paid �200 for it and its been nothing but trouble from the start.

I had this phone for around 2 months and I hated it. Yes, it may be excellent considering price but within 1 month the screen was fuzzing and vibrate wouldn't operate anymore. The short battery life was also a minus, having to charge it every second day or so. The storage space is very limited, and could only hold 20 or so low qual photos.The camera was also quite poor, and don't even get me started on the display screen. However the MP3 player was excellent and sound quality on this phone is great.I previously had a Samsung and it was of very poor quality. I find Nokia and LG are of better design, quality and usability. Overall despite the MP3 player this phone was vry poor and I recommend you go find another.

Have had this phone for about 2 years now, never broken on me..so obviously a really reliable phone. if your not to bothered about having to charge it every day and deal with a joke of a camera then its definately a bargain!..looking forward to gettin the new LG phone, but will be pretty sad to let this baby go :(

while the back is not easy to get off I gets easier after time. I've had mine for 4 weeks and with two different sims keep swaping them. So hold phone looking at back and with bottom of it to your right. Now see the join which is the cover edge? and theres a little raised piece? Now push down i.e. (push into body of phone)on the raised line and then try to slide a little bit to the left. Now it doesnt fully slide, only say half centimetre and it will then lift off. Try it you'll see It does come off with a little force.

I bought this phone for my daughter and liked it so much I bought a spare one for me! For so little cost it has a high spec. It is easy to use, light to carry and offers all the useful things a girl wants, such as using your own ring tones, taking pics, video, speakerphone and FM radio. Only downside I find is the ringing volume is not high enough. Great phone, love it!

Bought this phone over a year ago and it gets pretty boring pretty quick, bought it for �60 from woolworths , there are several things wrong with it, the battery life is increasingly running out quickly , the camera is only 0.3 megapixels and it does not support much software, lately it has been freezing a lot too, However if you are looking for a phone just for its triband features or just for an entry level phone. i am getting a 6500 slide instead , should be quite good

I hate it, i bought it a few days ago and it's just annoying. Reasons: - I couldn't get it off predictive text until my brother read through the manual for 10 minutes and then told me. - You can't get the back cover on or off easily. My dad had to use masking tape and a lot of force just to get it off for me. When you want to put it back on you can't and my mum has just somehow put it back on, but we now can't remove it (thankfully i took my sim card out). It should just be like my phone where you move something up and it pops off easily. - It doesn't keep all my text messages. I have one from Jan 08 then the next one is from Nov 08, it's odd. - Even though i saved my contacts to my sim card, for some reason the only number it did not store was a friend of mine.

I am soooo annoyed and as i scratched the back of one of the phones (with a knife trying to open it) I will not be able to return. AGhhhhhhhhh. Do NOT buy this if you want to keep your fingernails.

This is the first samsung I ever bought and I must say it is a good phone with an outstanding handset. The features are brilliant and easy to use, the only snag is the poor battery life. Anyway if you can look after it, it's got some nice gagets like camera, bluetooth and the mini SD memory card slot!

Good god, just got this phone as a first phone for my daughter and have broke every nail trying to get the back off - consequently leaving tiny dint marks! Finally got it of after prising it with said finger nails, to leave enough gap for a flat ended screwdriver - i hope to god I never need to take the back off again!

had this phone 4 3 months before I broke it trying 2 get it unlocked.(flashed the firmware accidentally) Only paid �30 for it and loved it. Ok, so the e250's camera is awful, but if you want good quality photos, buy a camera 4 goodness sake. dropped it more times than I can count, and never once froze. mp3 player was very good, however headphones were really uncomfortable and give you a headache.(Just get some better headphones) Bluetooth is very fast and so is copying to and from memory card. It's not massive either and almost as thin as the d900i. (avoid d900 and d900i at all costs!)feels quite sturdy for a samsung. (although the slide does wobble a bit in the closed position) looks great in black. (which I had) all in all a good and reliable little phone, and when you're 13 it's perfect. I'm really sad I broke it now cos it's great. I would recommend this.

Good enough phone it's light and easy to use. But with me after just under a year there was a black bloch on the screen, three of the buttons didn't work including the menu button, then the the speaker wouldn't work so people could hear me shouting down the phone and I couldn't hear them. Anyway if you can look after it it's got some nice gagets like camera, bluetooth and his a mini SD memory card slot.

It is a good phone. The internet is good and is already set up when you buy it and it doesnt cost much and is quite easy to use. ALthough, he camera is very god, the storage is...weird. and its kind of hard to use. you have to gt used to it but the key pad is good to. MY is broken but thatmight just be me. i got his phone two months ago. the phone was fine. i can send text messages to all my friends. but i wonder why i cant text and listen to the mp3 at the same time. it sucks when i have to exit and replay the song i'd like to listen to, everytime some text message comes. but then again, over all. the phone is fine. i satisfies my primary needs.

This is to Jeza if he/she is reading, To send an email, you have to go onto Menu, then go to Messages, then Create New Message, then Email. Reveiving an e-mail is the same as when you reive a text and to look back on you e-mail inbox is also the same as texts.

I LOVE this phone, I got it for my 12th birthday from my parent. It has LOADS of features: take pictures and videos, bluetooth, voice recorder, FM Radio, Music Player, Internet access, Java games, image editor, interactive, alarm, calendar, memo, calculator, converter, timer, stopwatch and more!!! I would recommend this phone to anyone who doesn't like their phone plain and simple. It comes in silver, black, pink, red and lilac.

absolutely love the e250,had a samsung e350 found that to bulky so swapped it for this one,the only thing i cant do on it is assign photos to contacts,so any ideas hod u do this much appreciated

i have this phone since april 2007 and it's still working, but it have some issues: the sound does't hear to loud, the battery runs out in less than 48 hours even though it's on standby, you can have only 4 unhandy options to message alert, you can't set as background pictures above 90kb, media player can't work in background and if you want to keep your keypad volume maxed you risk injuring your ears if you write a message. The good thing is that the 1gb card works excellent and you don't have to wait to much to load.

I recieved this phone as a present and immediately I saw how much better it was than my old phone. I don't use it for everything and I haven't needed to recharge even though I have had it for 23 days. The memory isn't great but overall itis very good and I would definately recommend it to somene who wants a stylish, good phone. = )

I bought my phone on the Monday and like everyone else could not get the back plate off. After trying all Monday afternoon and night to remove it resulting in bent knives, scissors and teeth, I went back to the shop and after 5 mins, the sales bloke managed to get it off. Here's a tip for anyone else struggling to get it off - stick a piece of sellotape to the back (this grips the panel) and pull - it really does work! I managed to download tunes and file them but do you think I can find the apostrophe? No! Message alert isn't that great compared to my previous Samsung even though I have the alert repeating every 2 minutes! Not a bad phone for the price.

I only received it yesterday and I hate the blooming thing already. Mot many features or ringtones or wallpaper. I suppose for �30 you aren't going to get much anyway. I wished I'd stuck to the good old faithful Nokia. they're the best anyway!

Good phone, poor sound but great for �30, i also had this back cover problem, mine would not come off at all, but i fixed it by using an knife and jamming it into the side and lifting up breaking what ever was stopping it, it once slides on and off fine :).

Got this phone a couple of days ago and was initially impressed. Overall, a very neat and classy design. However, I'm now beginning to have doubts. Like many others I've had great difficulty in removing the back cover. The message / appointment alerts tones are poor and do not repeat, so if you're not near the phone you've had it until you pick up the phone to use it.

I got this phone for a present and i enjoyed it, but it gets very easily scratched and after about 8 mounths of having this phone it has dislocated and wont close. An ideal phone for 1st time buyers or someone who wants a simple phone.

I purchased this one for 4400 Rupees, quite less than my previous phone Sony Ericsson W700i which I purchased for 7800 one year back and lost recently. Overall I am quite happy with this phone, its a value for money phone and with a 1 GiG (extra to buy) Memory, it does almost anything that all other good phones do. The images are ok in day light and are 640x480 (but are good) and as a music player its good. Can slightly improve on battary (lasts for 1.5 days for me if used for pics and music, which is quite OK). good to buy for that price..

Bought this phone today from Virgin and good value for money for �30.00 with �10.00 credit, limitted sales on this phone, so when the sales run out it's goodbye to the �30.00 phone. It's easy to used and a better phone than the Nokia, as the battery life on the Nokia is very short. Samsung phones are fantastic, so I'll give 5 stars for this phone,fantastic sound quality.

this phone is quite good..physically its very nice slim comes in different colors easy to use but im not satisfied with the features.. you cant change the font size unless your going to click on settings every now and then..the camera is not clear..you cant change the themes (no themes at all..you cant even make your mp3 as message alert tone..and you cant easily remove the back cover of this phone..very disgusting..i thought this phone is good but i was wrong..its only GOOD OUTSIDE BUT VERY POOR INSIDE!

buying this was a big mistake! i didn't really read the reviews for this phone before and now i know that i really should have because the phone sucks! firstly the battery life is so bad it barely lasted three days and that is when it was fully charged and had been completely unused, also even with a memory card you can only record for 2 minutes before it cuts you off and while your recording you can't pause, which is really annoying! also it is quite hard to connect with other phones via bluetooth as some other phones just don't pick it up, and when it does get picked up sometimes it does allow you to view or play pictures or song and videos you try to receive, its horrible. sometimes it does pick up calls or it tells you that you've been called several times when you haven't. but after all that it isn't the worst phone you could get as it has helped me quite a lot so if your on a tight budget you shouldn't over look this phone but if you can afford something bette r please save yourself some agony and buy something else!

I've just bought this phone from an Orange shop. A great phone, and all it cost was �19.99!! The deal in the shop at the moment is �29.99 plus a �10 required top-up. However if you already have an Orange pay-as-you-go, simply ask to keep the same number, the assistant transfers your sim/credit to the new phone (saving �10), and even better they will take your old phone in p/ex for another �10 saving. Mine was an old phone so it was not worth a tenner! Great deal I would say... As for the phone itself, I like the features, it can be easily personalised. The camera is basic, but I never print my photos anyway, and it can shoot video. For mp3 you would need to upgrade the memory (SD micro) - but these are not expensive, and the radio is useful too sometimes. All in all (especially for the money) I would highly recommend.

I've had it for a year and a couple of months.. Camera's great for snapshots of screens (Computer and Television screens), Great for "happy snaps" too. Battery Life is alright, Not so good if you play games on it 24/7 but just fine if you barely use it. Features great, Reeeealy robust, I dropped it so many times and it's scratched very badly but still worked fine up until a couple of days ago when it finally died =[ What I didn't like about the phone was the inability to use your own music files as a message tone, it wouldn't have bothered me as much if the samsung tones weren't so annoying! It's really irritating to hear "sakdajsdlkfhDING!" everytime you recieve a message. But overall, Fantastic phone, 9/10 (only because of okay battery life & message tones.) I recommend it. Trust me, A year and 2 months is great for someone as clumsy as me with their possesions. (By the way, my first generation iPod nano has been ran over by my bike, stepped on and dropped about 200 times and it still works. No, I do not work for apple or samsung.)

The phone is pretty cool. the sound quality is good and so is battery life. Here is a tip to open the batter cover: press downd the cover with your thumbs and slide it up. I had the Nokia 5300 XPress Music before. It costs the same price but i would still say the Nokia 5300 is way better

If this phone is not value for money, I don't know what is. It is funny to see comments criticizing the camera. I mean, this is a bottom dollar phone and for this price, it has a great camera. I don't think any phone even comes close to delivering value like the E250 does. If every buck matters to you, just get this phone.

PLEASE PEOPLE!!! The English language is NOT that hard a concept to grasp, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE learn how to SPELL!!! Anyway, I bought an E250 today and I LOVE IT! I put the battery in straight from the box, have been playing with it all day and it's still on full power! OK, the camera is a little lame but as another reviewer said, if you want to take photo's, use a proper camera! The FM radio and MP3 player sound fine to me with the supplied headset - can't understand what others are talking about? OK, the message alert tones aren't that hot, but the assignable ringtones, display, stunning looks, LOVELY slidey thing and general fantastic build quality are outstanding! ESPECIALLY from a phone that only cost me 44.95GBP! (including a 20 pound talktime top-up!!) I've had a Samsung SGH-X640 for the past 3 years which has been truly amazing, faithful and never let me down, I just wanted a new toy and after some thorough research, decided to go for my new favourite phone - The Samsung E-250! WELL WORTH IT!!! BUY ONE NOW!!!!

I bought this phone from Tesco as I am on Tesco mobile network and just swapped sim card.Got it for �44. I got a 1gig micro sd card and card reader of the net for �14 and off I went. But can I get mp3 tunes on to listen to. No.Maybe its my lack of tech know how but the only things I can get are of friends via blue tooth.Anyway I like the phone.Its stylish and my battery lasts nearly a week on standby mainly with a bit of playing with the features in the evening. Agreed the message alert tones are poor.The radio is fine but why have to have earphone plugged in before you can listen thro loudspeaker.Wierd.For the price its a great phone and when I learn how to load it as an mp3 player I will be happy.This is the phone I shall keep till it drops to bits becuase I love it.

I spent ages trying to undo the battery cover but finally I slid it off with a hairclip. I also didn't get a USB cable which sucks a bit but I brought a memory card and have already put quite a few songs on it. It's extremely light and my mum wanted me to return it because 'it looks like a toy phone, made out of plastic' but I find it easy to work with so I'll be keeping this one.

Well I have to now be honest and say I purchased this phone a year ago and did not have a good word for it and was frustrated with the battery cover which is a nightmare to get off, however, having got used to the phone I now must admit it is very user friendly and has a very bright and clear screen and I love it. My dog recently chewed it to pieces and after trying my friends top of the range Nokia purchased another 250 new and even cheaper from Vodafone. Samsung the battery cover is still a nightmare to get off on this one but other than that a smashing phone.

Well it's been a year since I have had this phone, and I can safely say I am not a samsung fan and I am returning to nokia to purchase the Nokia 5310. This phone lasted around 7 months after many extremely annoying things happened. Pros: - For an extremely cheap phone, it provides a very basic camera, MP3 player, radio, whatnot. Cons: - Slide becomes EXTREMELY rough. To the point where you are embarased to show your phone to your friends. This happened around 2 months after I purchased the phone. - Battery life is absoloutely terrible. I ended up charging the phone nearly everyday. This kept happening until I gave up seeing as I couldnt be bothered charging it so frequently causing me to miss out on important calls and texts. - The adapter provided became EXTREMELY faulty and stopped working after around 5 months. I had to buy 4 more. In the end, if you are looking for an entry level phone, look elseware.

I got this phone last year, but paid like �70 as I got it when it was still full price, doh! Anyway, the phone is a nice little phone, you can store songs, videos, photos, radio etc. The only problem is it does not come with a USB cable to connect it to the PC (mine didn't come with a USB). Other than that, it's good value for money and as i've brought a new phone (sony w580i), I will be bringing my old E250 when I go out to clubs at night.

I bought this phone 5 days ago and i must say im happy with it. The battery life seems fine and the reason is because i did what you should always do with a phone...charge it for 8 or so hours straight when you buy it! It stays on all day for nearly 3 days.(ive only charged it once) Stop winging about the camera ..yes it is vga but so what it take perfectly normal photos ..who needs a full on 2 or 3 MP camera on a phone. Just use your digital camera. THE ONLY ANNOYING THING IS THE BATTERY COVER!! OMG!! it took me ages to get it off! then luckily i found one of those grip things in mums kitchen lol and it slid off so im alright with that! SO!...to anyone who has a grip thingo in their kitchen and wants a perfectly nice sexy modern phone...bu this one!!

For the price it's great. My nine year old daughter has the same phone in lilac and she loves it. The only problem we have with it is that the volume is poor. I miss so many calls because I can't hear it when it's in my bag (even have it on vibrate too). Tried changing the ring tone but to no avail. Otherwise, it's well worth the money and it's a neat and very sturdy little thing.

Some people on this just seem to like complaining. Last week my N73 died for no reason. I bought this phone because it had Bluetooth, a Memory Card Slot and it was only �49. Sure the camera isnt great but what do you expect. The phone is much better than the Nokia 5200. There is more memory in it for starters. The display is bigger, sharper and brighter than the 5200. Videos look better and the E250 is thinner and cheaper than the 5200. But you should buy a MicroSD card for the phone to hold more music, pictures and videos. I have had no problems with it. You should buy this phone if you are looking for a cheap phone with a camera and mp3 player. Also the headphones are much better than the ones included with a phone are much better than the N73 and the phone doesnt take as long to turn on as the N73. The only thing I have a problem with is that the Vodafone branded version (E250v) does not include the USB cable

My Gran got this phone before I got the chance to test it. I wasnt expecting much due to the price, I thaught 'Oh dear, another attempt from samsung, trying to make a slide phone', but I was wrong! I switched it on and wow! The screen, power, buttons could be a little nicer to the fingers, but apart from that it's okay. the camrea, don't expect much from samsung people but there new slide coming out in aughust will be mint! had it a years now the up button does not work you can not save many images to the phone its self but i bought a 2gb memary card and it holds so much stuff on that. if you are thinking of buying the phones get a memary card. camera is abselutly terrible. the phone takes alot of damage. overall pretty good.

I have had my phone for a week now and think it is great. love the slide to answer/ slide to stop and the cmera is remarkably good quality! The radio is extremely clear and having loudspeaker and volume control on side of phone is a bonus. Screen is good size with gret visibility and keys are easy to use (I am getting very short sighted! I bought this phone a couple of months ago, but have now replaced it. The main problem was the signal quality, I never managed to have a phone call without the signal breaking up or the other person not being able to hear me - and with my previous (and current) phones, the signal has never been an issue. Therefore in the end I had to replace it as i defied the point of having a phone if I couldn't have a conversation on it! However, it is a really nice looking phone, nice neat & slim design, and really easy to use, and has some good features. Probably a good phone to have if you text a lot rather than phone people.

This phone is always very reliable. I have had this phone for over a year and no problems what so ever. I think the only thing that could improve would be the camera, but hay if you want to take nice photos get a camera! not a phone! :D But yeah i would recommend this phone to just about anyone :)

This phone will not break, i have had it since november 2007 and have been wanting a new phone since i brought it! i have chucked it at walls, in the air everything nothing will break mine there is nothign actully wrong with it, it is a great & easy to use phone the only thing that has gone wrong wiht it is the bluetooth a couple of months ago, it cant find people or people cant find you, some times in works and some times it doesn't it bit of a hit or miss! the camera is not the best but for VGA camera what do you expect but does take photos the internal memory will there isnt much of it, i have only been able to store one song it and about 20 photos that is it, but once you get a memory card its fine =) overall it is a good phone for its price

Its an ok phone for the money. Camera isnt great and memory is low. You will need a mem Card and bluetooth on your pc if you want to copy over mp3s. Radio sounds great on headphones - i wondered too about having to have the headset in to listen to the radio on the speaker - it maybe that the headset acts as an FM aerial.

I have the opportunity to use the phone and I must say it is very exciting and entertaining especially with all the music and the fm radio.However, one notable limitations that I must say it has is that when it comes to installing applications, one can really have a nightmare because more often than not, you will always see the installation error information. This in one of the worst phone i have seen. This is not at all user friendly. there is no option in this phone to change vibrating mode to silent mode. without any reason the phone it self switches off.More over it has lot of display problems.

i like it, its the best phone iv ever had! it could be better though, its all sort of cheap, bad signal (well, depends were you live) rubbish camra and i think i broke the speker, almost. but be warned!!! if you are thinking for going for a phone just for a software upgrade, so like a �99 samsung with a 0.3 mp camra, save your money, samsung softwere is the same praticly on all samsung phones

This phone is the best if all u want to do is make calls, and some people may want if for that reason,but if you enjoy the things like the at least 2 mega pixal camra or the brilliant sound. for about �60 more get something better like a 3.2 mega pixel camra ans a lot better sound. Like the U600.

A very good phone from CarphoneWarehouse on Vodafone �35.00 all in (inc �10 air time) BARGAIN! all seems to work well syncs with tomtom for handsfree calling/receiving. Most of the complaints below are solved if you...READ THE MANUAL! You will need to buy a usb and car charger cable as they are not supplied,but can be had on Ebay all in for under �10.Can only repeat..BARGAIN PHONE!

I can't rate it so good because i don't own one but when ever my friend comes round i can't stop playing with it! When he sent a song to my PDA via infrared i can't say it was easy to get the ports aligned and nor was it easy to get it to start sending but when it was sending a 3mb file took only about 15 minutes which for infrared is not bad. It is a very fascinating phone and for the price i'd call it feature-packed.

had the phone bout 6 months and screen completely went all white and every time you touch it this black blob in the middle got larger.The carphone warehouse tryed to make us pay �50 for the problem. Ended up buying E770 from the reconditioned area in Orange ONLY �45!I swear the only good thing about the e250 phone is it's looks!

well, if it had a long lasting battery life and an onboard larger memory, for example 65mb on phone memory. The fone could have been the best thing Samsung had ever made. Perfect functions, very excellent appearance(slim & compact), radio e.t.c.

Sam sung e-250 is very bad mobile. any one reads the specification will think that it's a nice mobile, but the fact that it's not. I will tell you why, for example when you install a memory card and while you are recording a video clip using the Sam sung e-250 mobile, the clip should be saved on the memory card but the fact is that the clip is always saving on phone memory that means that you can't take a video more than 2 minutes and after that you have to stop recording and save it and then remove the clip to the memory card to make a free space on the phone memory because the mobile specifications is set to record video, photos, and every thing on the phone memory however there is a memory card installed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's my mobile number:- 0020104988954 So, Samsung -250 is a bad mobile don't buy it :@ :@ Bye

Ive had this phone for nearly a whole year and up till now has been excellent. At the moment it has refused to let me do anything. The only button that works is the power beutton so the only thing i can do with my phone is turn it on and off but the funny thing is i have not droped it or damaged it in anyway.

Well i've got a Samsung SGH E250 and it is excellent. It has everything i need and if you get it from Argos, they even give you a memory card last time i had a differant pink phone and that was good just like this Samsung SGH E250. I would rate this= 1,000,000/1,000,000 or if more then even more. Its one of the best phone this Samsung SGH E250 and my other pink phone whichs name i forgot because its so hard are the best phone ever

I have only had this phone for one month and I found that the battery cover was really hard to get off so I thought the phone would slip out of my hands and break. Although the Menu was really user-friendly.

Ab Fab darling! Just LOVE this phone - been playing with it all day - looks great (silver), superlight and easy to use! Ignore comments below about not able to get back off - I managed it straight away with no probs (and I'm blonde)! Menus easy to get around - large display easy to read for those with not so good eyesight. Older people have trouble with mobile phone buttons being too small to see or fiddly to operate. This phone is GREAT - can see numbers & text clearly and manage buttons very well. GREAT PHONE FOR THE PRICE - don't hesitate - GO GET IT! Phones4U do good deals too. I'm with Virgin network and could just put my own SIM into it and ready to rock and roll!

I have had this phone 4 months now and it hasn't let me down yet.The battery doesn't need charging very often ,the features are amazing E.G.browser and camera.The camera is 1.9 or somthing like that.The Samsung e250 has bluetooth and it doesn't weight very much about 80g overall a good all round phone for the price

I love my silver samsung E250 my hubby bought it for my birthday am still learning to do different things on it. It has a great feel to it you can take good photo's and the video recording is brilliant.I have just got to work out how to down load my photo's on to my computer this is the best phoe i have ever had

When I last bought a phone, all they did was make phone calls and send texts. I am thrilled with this phone - I think of it like my "IPhone" except it cost a fraction of the price. The email / internet functionality works fine although I would not do a great deal of internet browsing on it. The MP3 player sound is really good and is as good as having a dedicated player, once you add an sd card for extra storage. My only very slight criticisms - it would have been nice if the usb data cable, a case and a screen protector had been provided.

had this phone for about 9 months. very good allround,never let me down, has all the positive points as above,good sound MP3 and radio,Camera not the best but then the phone is inexpensive anyway. Only 3 negative points. 1) The back plate is a swine to remove, I was afraid of breaking it same as previous reviewers. 2) battery life not that good. 3) Need damp hands to slide open onehanded, otherwise two handed job. Maybe all sliders are the same as my previous samsungs have been Clams. All in all a brilliant phone for the money.

I got this phone for christmas and I think it's brill. Unfortunately, I didn't get a memory card with it but I bought a 2G micro SD memory card from play.com for a tenner, and now its all gravy :-). Honestly, If you're thinking about buying a new phone that is simple and anti-high-tech, this is THE phone for you, enjoy!!

Had this phone for about a year now, and no problems. A great little phone, though my sliding bit is a little stiff and wobbly, and was so when I bought it first, which is a bit annoying. Colours on the screen are quite pixelated due to the low res. but that is obvious. The camera is alright, but a flash and more megapixels would be ace. Easy to get used to and use; a good buy if you just want a good phone, at a cheap price. [I've seen them at around �35 now.] I'm only getting a new phone because I want more megapixels on the camera, and better resolution. Great little phone.

I purchased this phone and from day one I knew it was a mistake,not only could I not remove the back cover to remove the battery or sim card so that it could be returned to T-Mobile, the ring tones could not be accessed via the menu and Samsung customer services were next to useless,they had given me incorrect product information prior to purchase and when I contacted them they didn't want to know. Do not buy this phone.

I've had this phone for over 6 months, and for a budget mobile, it's pretty good. True, the people saying they can't get the back off easily are right, but I don't find it much of an issue. I got a 1gb memory card off amazon, excellent value, less than a fiver, and I can fit a LOT of songs on there. Couple of gripes though. The playlist capability of the music player is a bit iffy, there are only 4 playlists and they only fit 30 tracks on each, but it's quick and easy to change your playlist around so not too bad. The phone doesn't come with any kind of cable or PC software, I had to borrow mine off a friend who got the e900 a few weeks before I bought this one, and that's the only way to get files from your computer to your phone and vice versa. I'm sure you can buy a cable and the software separately though (look for Samsung PC studio or something like that). Nice little phone for a nice little price.

wonder about message alert tones! phone is outstanding but also with outstanding mistakes (so big that actually make doubt about whether they are mistakes realy!). and where are sms delivery report setting? it dosnt have it at all? about sms alerts: my mother needs a strong enough alert realy. I even thought about replacing mechanical vibrating mechanism with a small enough electronic ring (do you know a good instance?) !! and setting sms vibrating alert on!! I dont know if some other hardware manipulation can be made to workaround this nasty problem. phone is realy good in other parts, so why such bug should degrade it so much? why there isnt a (probably official) workaround? a software patch; firmware upgrade... etc. I dont know! we realy need at least a much stronger sound for sms alerts. their owns are almost useless!

i love the samsung e250 is a great phone!!! one of the drawbacks with this fone is that it does not have great memory so the memory card si essential for you to get the most out of this phone. apart from that it is a great phone and i love it!!!

Well im not to sure about this phone its great for what you get but i only got 2 songs on it and the screen is rubbish when you go onto the menu screen its blured and fuzzy! The thing which really annoys me is the slide its so stiff to get up and down it also has a very plasticy feel to it this phone is ok for peole who just want the basics but i would highly recomend the samsung E840 for just a little bit more money you get a much better quality phone!

well i have the samsung e250 all i have had is problem after problem with the memory card all it does is crash or put japanes wrighting up where my files should be. i have to format the card all the time so what ever music you have you lose so to me this phone does have some trouble going on with it

I bought this phone back in May of 2007 and it has not crashed and has worked like a charm. Shame for the price i paid for it. I paid �70 for the phone which i thought was a rip. The design is a bit lazy but the phone itself is very good. But if you constantly keep flicking it up and down there is a scratch that comes up eventually.

A good phone but the memory is tiny (its great when you have got a memory card though)and there is not a flash on the camera which is really annoying but apart from that it is quite a good phone!!!!!!!!!!!! No probs with it so far!!! Apart from when i dropped it the other night and the screen went all dodgy and the phone is not working!

I got this phone a week ago and I love it so far. I have no problem with the battery life unlike most people. It's camera's so-so, but I have my own digital camera, so it's fine. The speakers are pretty loud, so it's awesome. The bad points of the phone: really SMALL memory & I can't get the back cover off. The small memory can be fixed by getting a Micro SD card, which is about 500 pesos [for a 1gig] here. But I get really scared whenever I have to remove the back cover, I feel I might break it. :| But seriously, I love this phone. :)

This phone randomly broke on me after just two months of having it. The slider made a cracking sound as I went to answer a call and now the whole phone has gone bust. I am not happy bunny and am going back to nokia mobiles.

I bought it from the carphone warehouse in cornwall and got it on orange. i found it had games and i started playing on it but they started charging me for it. Thats the only bad thing ive got about the phone. otherwise it is a great phone and a great buy for �49.99.

When I first got this phone, I was scared that I was going to break it as back was so hard to get off! However, I did eventually open it and have now had the phone for 5-6 months now. Its a good phone however the ringtones are poor, the speakers aren't loud, you can get a better camera in this price range and you have to buy all the pre-loaded games on it. Don't get me wrong, its a great cheapy, beginners phone but for the price range now you can get better.

The phone seems great, only had it a few days though. However the manual is very basic, can anyone tell me what a letter p means , its showing on the screen? Also when I got the phone I was able to recieve texts from my wife who is with o2, now I am unable to get them, any ideas? It absolutely RUBBISH! DO NOT BUY IT YOU WILL REGRET IT, I'm going on experience as I got that phone for my birthday and I got rid of the Motorola L6, Sorriest day of my life. Still got the E250 now but as soon as i have enogh money for a Nokia 5200 or find a retailer that sells the L6 I will put a hammer to it, I HATE IT!!!

I really like this phone, it has everything yoiu need - MP3, games, bluetooth, WAP, the works. I got it in black from Carphone Warehouse for �39.95 - a great deal. For me, there are only two things wrong with it: Very poor battery life You cann't find a decent case for it anywhere! Also, a lot of people have been moaning aboput the memory capacity. If you want songs so bad, either buy a memory card, are get an MP3 player! All in all, the pros certainly outweigh the cons with this phone, and with that price, it's a wonder they're not all sold out!

I've had this phone for almost a year now, and it has been a good little phone. I agree with some of the comments about battery life, if your a big talker be prepared to do a lot of re-charging, but I don't really see this as a big problem. I've found the camera to be really good, as long as you don't move whilst taking the photo, otherwise its just a huge blur. With regards to the MP3 player, I would definitely buy a SD card, as the phone will only store 1 song otherwise. However, if you shop around these days you can get one already with the phone. If you've not got loads to spend I would recommend this phone, it looks nice, the slider is fab, have not had one problem with reception or anything else. Shop around and get a bargain.

I bought it new on PAYG from Carphone WH for �40, �30 for the phone and the mandatory �10 air time. Brilliant feature-packed phone, it is sturdy and solid design, quite a loud speaker too. Battery life is pretty good. ***THE PROS:*** excellent quality bluetooth strength. Good camera quality. Brilliant reception and phone call quality. Good buttons. Cheap price tag! Fast battery recharge. Good batery life. **THE CONS:** screen is a bit pixelated, could be better quality. There are no voice commands or voice dialling unfortunately. Should come with a free memory card, they're so cheap nowadays! A bit hard to slide the phone up unless you hold it and angle your thumb down and push it up while pressing. Not the nicest menu system (ugly fonts). Can not change SMS TXT alert tone. **OVERALL:** The cons do not amount to subtracting a star - only because the price of the phone is SO CHEAP! I am happy to be using this as my main phone for the meantime, eventually I will chang e to a contract again but for now I don't need a state-of-the-art phone or an expensive contract. If you want a cheap but GOOD phone, this is the phone.

its a good phone and i really like the design,but ive noticed that on it,there is scratches on the back of the screen when you slide it up.someone i know who has the same phone also has scratches.The battery on mine lasts 2-3 days, and a maximum of 4.im happy with that because im used to bad batterys on phones.The camera could be much better,but with a similar design to the D900,which i wanted to get first,i decided to get this instead,because it was less than half the price of the d900.The display is brilliant and the screen is set out brilliantly and is very easy to use.Message tones are poor ,you get 4 and they're very quiet. Overall its a brilliant phone and i'm glad i got this phone .4.3/5.

I have proble in reading card through PC suite . when i h to transfer songs first i have to transfer to phone memory disconnect with pc transfer to memory card and once again connect it. if anyone know a good solution on this i h 1 gb card i h to transfer some 40 to 50 songs . If i connect card with card reader to system system is not detecting it. it is showing RAW file system. window will show not able to format it.

This is mah first cam n mp3 player handset .. when i started using it i fell in love with it .. the more i used it .. the more disadvantages i found .. low batery *a major prob, the pics music etc doesn automatically get saved on the memory card .. you gotta transfer your previous taken pics and music to memory card and then only you can take new pics... voice is not at all clear.. you can get better sets then this one at da same rates .. avoid goin for it ... seriously

I bought this phone for �70 pound in may.1 month later i hated it.there isnt much internal memory.menu is boring!rubbish camera!Replying to the question left by John,you have to put music onto a cd then put that on windows media player. DONT BUY!

i think this phone is alright. its not mine its my brothers, i would not really buy this phone because of the poor battery life it has. Also the music on the MP3 player is not very loud compared to other phones but that might be because im used to walkman phones. I think it is a very stylish phone and is defiantly worth the money if you charge it through the night that is.

I have had this phone for about two years now and i must be honest and say it is really a piece of junk.The memory can onylk hold two songs and battery life is limited. Mine keeps brakinga and turning itself off. Also, when you slide it down, it gets sticky and the colour wears away. DON't buy it!! It's rubbish, really it is!!

I bought this phone from my sister as I am on my sister mobile network and just swapped her card.Got it for �44. I got a 1gig micro sd card and card reader of the net for �14 and off I went. But can I get mp3 tunes on to listen to. No.Maybe its my lack of tech know how but the only things I can get are of friends via blue tooth.Anyway I like the phone.Its stylish and my battery lasts nearly a week on standby mainly with a bit of playing with the features in the evening. Agreed the message alert tones are poor.The radio is fine but why have to have earphone plugged in before you can listen thro loudspeaker.Wierd.For the price its a great phone and when I learn how to load it as an mp3 player I will be happy.This is the phone I shall keep till it drops to bits because I love it.

I was goint to buy the E250 until I found out that it only had a VGA camera and was very big for what it offers, I bought the E900 instead, its a much better phone!

I love my E250 but do not seem to be able to transfer my pictures to my pc. Is there a cable I can purchase to enable me to do that. Apart from that I find it very easy to use, and at my age its a feat.

My daughter had a E250 phone. After 27 days, the phone would not work, the screen was blank..She had done nothing to it to damage it. Carphone warehouse would not replace it, they said my daughter had dropped it or sat on it.She hadnt.This had made me think they are not good.I was going to buy one for myself , but I wont now. Be aware they do not see to stand up to anything.

I have only had this phone since 22 December and have had to recharge it loads. The standby is supposed to be 250 hours which is 10 days! I was told at Phones 4 U where I bought it that the standby was about 3 days. Bit of a difference there. I have now let the thing run right down and then left it on charge for 24 hours and am waiting to find out - with minimal use - how long the thing is going to last. I will be very intersted to know if it lasts till next week before needing charging again!! Also the range of ringtones is poor and I can't get the back off - all my friends can but I can't.

first of all the phone was good, ive now had it for 5 months and i'm having trouble with my battery. i have tried to find a spare battery to buy but i am unable to get hold of one!! other than this problem its good but im now having to find another phone which is proving hard as im a student and cant really afford a new one! DONT BUY IT!!!!

Taking the battery cover out is difficult. The first time, I actually went back to the shop to do this silly thing. No electronic gadget has ever made me so embarrassed. The shop keeper was smiling at my stupidness. As far as the phone is concerned, I love it. Value for money, you will get a better phone only if you spend more.

i got this phone from tesco for 45 QUID its a brill fone wen it comes to features but there are a few annoying things like memory and it doesnt have a light but otherwise its cwl and its slider. it dosnt cum with usb cable though. i reccomend it

very very good phone I had this and the lg chocolate the lg chocolate looks a mile better but the slide is to delicate on it this is a very good phone brilliant speakers he only thing i say its bad on is the memory but it has a memory car slot so that solves the problem.

The SGH-E250, a very good fone, good voice quality. I can say this fone is excellent, the camera is perfect, navigation superb. The only defects i can say are a drawback are, 1. the slide tends to be heavy, it should have been smoother, also i noticed that, there some scratching at back of the part which slides up, meaning that there is friction somewhere inside, and this is relly dab, i think it is a manufacturing error coz my other friend whom i bought the fone at the same time had his sliding part scratched also. the other disadvantage is the battery it tends to kinda of heat up during charging and the batt life is not that good. In a nutshell the E250 stands above most slide fones I really luv it.

Great phone!! nice and slick, but when i try to send an multimedia message it says 'unknow subscriber' the internal memory is quite low aswell but above all its a great phone. Anyone know how to make it work?? ruanblight@yahoo.co.uk please email me if anyone knows?? Nice phone.

The good : It's small, light and very easy to use which was the main attraction to me. The bad : The rear cover is a pain to get off, though the bloke in the shop did it in seconds. I'd prefer a standard headphone socket. and the ugly : I had to buy a USB connection lead and downloaded the PC software from the samsung site - I then found it didn't work! I tried the XP and Vista versions (on appropriate PCs) and neither worked. I've yet to call their help line but I this shouldn't be rocket science! To sum up - I like the phone, I don't notice I'm even carrying it and it's very simple to use - but not with a PC! I'd of given it 4 stars if the software worked and 5 if it had a bit more memory with a 2mb camara.

This phone is all right. The only (minor) details I find annoying are: 1. The connectors for the earphones are not equal. By design, one of them is longer and the remote is supposed to hang under one of the ears. This design is stupid. Couldn't they make the eaprhnes with a central remote, on user's chest? 2. The verry annoying Vodafone Live button, which is useless for me and unfortuantelly cannot be removed without a firmware update. I recently bought a Nokia 6234 (also Vodafone-branded) and both the above flaws are not present. The headset has simmetrical connectors for the earphones and the live button can be removed, because the standby softkeys are tottaly customisable. Of cours, Nokia 6234 costs about double.... I give E250 3 stars- good, but it could heve been better. Also, the display sux compared to nokia's.. But then, the price is cheaper... You can't have them all...

this phone is ok it is not the best phone i have had i got this for 39.99 as my previous lg chocolate packed up but i mean what do you expect for that price it is like a cheaper version of the d900 the internal memory is rubbish but i have fixed that with a 1gb memory card i am not going to keep this phone for long as i am planning to buy a sony ericson w850i instead in febuary but it will do me until then the good points are : the radio the mp3 player the bluetooth the stylish small design the bad points memory nothing realy intresting about it

I got this phone for xmas n I love it! It looks gr8! I thought it was going to be quite bulky when I first got it but when I got it I realised it is very slick n slim, much beter than I expected! However it is beginin 2 get a bit slow and without the memory card the memroy is pretty useless! But you can purchase a realy good value for money memory card from the car phone warehouse for only �14! I LOVE THIS PHONE, YOU SHOULD GET IT!

to the sliding at the end bit, i jost got one, and it is fab! it took 5 secs to take off! its the messaging that is faulty for me. how do you get it off predictive texts????

I bought my e250 from tesco the phone has a lot going for it however I agree with other reveiwed comments that the back cover is almost impossible to slide off has anyone reported this to samsung? also you have to buy the micro sd cards seperate which can be a nuiceance

I love this phone. I still use it today after getting my G600. I use this as my emergency phone. I think its amazing quality for very little money. Where else can you get these features on another phone nothing compares. The only drawbacks which is usual with samsung is you cant choose a decent text message sound. and you have to crop the names of songs before the phone will see them as music these are the only 2 points oh and the battery can be a bit short soemtimes spec is your listening to music all the time but carry a spare i used to. Great phone

I own this phone for about 9 months now and its very good. Voice quality of FM radio is very good however its not as loud when ur playing mp3 files. I dont like the middle key (OKi) that opens the internet browser. This should have been the menu key like in other manufacturers phones. Another thing that i dont like in this phone is that you cant play the video on the full screen. but overall the phone is good in this price range.

This is a great phone. I would recommend you to buy it. It is slim and fits your pocket easily. One faulty part of my phone is the cancel button [red phone] which creaks and is not really good. (Just that part). I don't use the MP3 and the FM radio so I do not know how the effects. This phone is good because it has loudspeaker - which works with music. The battery life doesn't last long though, if you use the camera, music, radio alot. But this is a great phone with nice features and I`m pretty pleased with it. Overall I do recommend it to anyone looking for a phone who isn't going for a high amount of money! :]

I have just bought the Samsung E250 today and must say, I am really impressed with it. The camera is excellent, the videop recorder is great and there is also a photo editor and I have already made my friends look daft. The music player is really good. There is an FM Radio which is good so you can listen to it in your spare moments. There is also bluetooth and a lot of internal memory. There is like 7 games. They're all good. The phone has a lot of security also. There is the basics like a calendar etc. Overall - great phone
