Outstanding.... Except two/three things: 1. having problem with usb to pc connection, which i believe its not a problem for phone. It worked with my home pc (windows XP) but does not work with my Office Pc. Which also has the windows XP..but different version. 2. As it has many features, it consumes more battery power,at least at the begining of using this phone. 3. Try to use USB card reader for uploading/downloading data to memory card. I was unable to access the memory card directly. i had to upload the mp3 into my phone memory then i had to shift them to memory card..

I love my D900i; it's slim and gorgeous (unlike me) and it does everything I could possibly need from a mobile 'phone. However.... After only 3 weeks the display has broken and T Mobile refuse to replace it due to 'user misuse'. he phone has hardly been used and shows no external signs of wear. The guy in my local T Mobile shop said that they are extremely delicate (no kidding!!!!) and that this is a common problem begging the question, are these 'phones fit for purpose? Despite loving this 'phone it's a 1 star for being way too delicate to even think about using. Shame.

Fantastic phone im thrilled with it mine is the pink and its gorgeous.I searched many reviews to find the answer to 1 question regarding the colour but couldnt find the answer so i just went for it but i shall tell other pink lovers out there. There is no difference between the d900i pink and the d900i candy although pictures look different some look dark pink others light which is fine if you are in a shop and can look but i preffered the darker only to find that the phone is shiney so depending on what angle the phone is on it looks lighter or darker and after a bad experience with ordering the e900 online colour wise supposed to be pink but was a reddish colour too me was wary but as soon as i opened that box i fell in love the colour is beautiful and defo pink!!! Now the phone what can i say this is the best phone ive ever had so much so that its inspired me to write this review its a comfy phone not flimsey or 1 your afraid to touch incase of braking 3mp camera fantastic although a bit slow but dont be put off by this. The menu is easy to use.The radio is great as is the mp3 player im writing a story now but i really cant rate this phone enough it so great i change my phones quite a lot but ive never loved a phone before as i do this so should save me money in the long run unless they bring the next version with a tv on it or something ha!

I have only had this phone for 2 days and i love it.Mine is the pink version and its georgous if your looking on the internet the pictures dont do this phone justice it has a shine to it and that is why on some pictures it looks dark pink and on some it looks light its really pretty. The 3 mega pixel camera is great and has fun options too ive had such a laugh with it i never expected that!.This phone is so simple to use. I must admit i fell in love with the e840 in pink didnt mind that it had a 2 mega pixel camera bought it had it 1 day before realising id made a mistake dont get me wrong its a great phone but i cant do those touch sensetive keys.It kept taking me back as id brush the key with my thumb. So i changed it for this and im so impressed As soon as i opened the box i was in love!!! and as soon as i started using it it felt great a comfy phone if you know what i mean.I cant really coment on the battery life but i read reviews before i buy any mobile and they always say bad battery life but as i charge it every night its never been a problem.I know this is a long review but i had too write it as im that impressed i can honestly say this is the best mobile ive ever had and belive me ive had a few!!!.So dont be put off by any bad ones as most time the only people who leave feedback on items leave bad as they have had problems. Not so many take the time to give good.Buy it you will love it x

we bought the phone Samsung D900i from carphone warehouse 13 days ago and it has had to go for repair already as the screen has cracked. This will cost us £45. The repair centre said that it's a common fault with these as the screen is so thin, but we weren't told that when we bought it.if you have to wrap it in cotton wool what's the point? We also found that the manual that came with the phone was next to useless and found the menus difficult to navigate around. We cannot find a way of putting our own tune onto the text received messaging, so have to put up with one of the 4 irritating beeps that it defaults to. The chrome one looks great from the websites but no-one on the high street sells it, and an online seller gave up trying to get us one after 9 days. overall very disappointed.

The battery is abolute rubbish (and thats not even playing games or music)and when I bought it I was told it would last a minimum of 3 days. Surely in this day and age a battery should last a week, haven't they heard of solar power. Software is much slower than a nokia and can't cope with streamline calls. Nope, its back to nokia for me.

There are certanly better phones that I've used. There are a few options that I like in a phone that this phone does not cover i.e picking your own tone as a message tone. Also the cover over the charger section is very flimsy and I don't think that will last long at all. All in all, I think this is just a standard boring phone.

I have to go into menu files music and folder to find the song then select and then it kicks me out to ain menu and have to go through it all again for each song. Bery time concuming when i used to be able to put my whole library on shuffle. If this is possible can somoeon let me know. I also find the menus slightly more compicated. Also i sont like how the flimsy cover for the headphone slot is left dangling out when headphones are in. Keep waiting for it to break.

physically the phone is good: its dimensions and light weight is much attractive. Practically you can carry it in whatever shirt you have on . The combination of qualities it offers is more than enough. Yet, it has unforgiveable shortcomings. ((1)) very poor battery life - actually it never lasts even near 3 hrs talk time - at most you can expect 1 hr, and mind you I never used music/video players ... yet couldn't get 1 hr talk time. ((2))ringtones downloaded thru the pc-suite are hardly loud enough to be acceptable rings - you are forced to buy them! Alas, it COULD BE A GREAT phone - lots of friendly capabilities + pleasing physics . . . yet (as rightly put by Mario few lines before ) you can not enjoy them. I think Samsung should come up with an extended life battery as soon as possible, or expect a major loss of market !

Samsung D900i I bought this phone for its multimedia features but I'm very disappointed about the media player! THE SOFTWARE BUG: when viewing mpeg4 files in fullscreen mode (after pressing play and pressing # for switching in full screen mode) there are 2 problems for 2 types of files which are available on the Nero site: hxxp://trailer.nerodigital.com/eng/trailer.php?id=46 BUGS in Media Player Samsung Software: 1. Mobile » Mobile (2.27 MB) Resolution: 176x144 Duration: 1:18 min This video file can NOT be played in fullscreen mode. The screen is freezing and the sound is still running. 2. Portable » Portable (5.03 MB) Resolution: 352x288 Duration: 1:18 min This video file can be played in fullscreen mode BUT the viewed aspect ratio is WRONG because the player is not adding black borders at the bottom and the top of the image as requested the widescreen (16:9) video files. I tested the same files on Nokia and Sony Ericsson mobiles and in fullscreen mode the video files are played with the CORRECT aspect ratio. So, the problem is NOT in the video files but in the SAMSUNG FIRMWARE (software). If these MAJOR problems will be not solved, I'll return my phone and ask for money back. Was my first Samsung phone and I'm very disappointed because of this. I just cant watch any widescreen videos on the phone. enjoy, Mtz

Um...I have just upgraded from a D600 to a U600. Top tip, read the reveiws. The operating system on the U600 is annoyingly different to the D600 :- 1) It saves all texts sent and then puts the number in the recent contacts folder, thus filling it and the sent box up. 2) It locks when you make a call, because of the touch sensitive buttons. This means you have to close the phone down to end the call. 3) The battery life really is about 1 day. 4) It doesn't have the direct access to the camera or video + the relevant folders. You can can get to them, but it's a pain. 5) The signal coverage is not as good as the U600 in the same locations. There is probably more, but this is a review about the D900i which I exchanged to after 2 days. I have to say that I'm not overly happy with the authors of this site, because their review clearly states that the only difference is that the D900i has an FM radio and the D900 does not......For those in the Samsung know, the D900i does not have the Document Viewer facility, but the D900 does. I use this for view Word Docs with maps on. In this format you can zoom into the map. You can't do this on a downloaded image. To be fair, the D900i was a breath of fresh air from the U600, albeit, the U600 does have a good doc viewer, which is faster than the D600's. The main gripe with the D600 was that the slide design meant that you could accidental answer and clear a call whilst retrieving the phone from your pocket. The D900/D900i & U600 have overcome this by design. If you want to upgrade from an original Nokia brick, then the U600 will be fantastic, however the advice from the cheap seats is go for use-ability and settle for the previous model D900/i. One other point is that the battery live, according to the Samsung web site is slightly better on the D900i as apposed to the D900. Over all, the D900i has answered all of the problems with the U600 (but let down by the Doc Viewer, hey-ho, life is a compromise!!)
