Bought this as a Christmas present for my grandaughter. Wished she had choosen another phone as tracker pad kept freezing and has now stopped working completely. Reading these reviews it would seem to be a common problem. Should have read these reviews before I agreed to but it her.

Only had the phone seven weeks before the trackpad failed. Tesco refused to replace on the grounds that it was over 28 days since acquisition and insisted that they were only obliged to offer a repair at that stage. Poor quality. Tesco Customer Service even worse.

i have this phone it is one of the best phones ive bought. its nice to look at and easy to use,its camera is 2megapixle but its actual quite good i strongly recomend this phone.

Got this phone a week ago and so far its worked perfectly. Have had no problems with signal or accessing wifi. Even when not using wifi it has still been great at accessing the web. Found its easy to use and I would definitely recommend it to anyone on a tight budget that can't afford a proper smart-phone.

Wish I had never bought it. Compared to my old phone it does not appear to pick up signals as well for both phone and internet use. After a few months the Trackpad froze. Returned to suppliers (Virgin) and, on day of return a new problem arose keypad in Alt mode was not working correctly - � sign produced $ sign, $ a Euro sign, Euro sign a %. Spent a huge amount of time talking to both Virgin and Samsung. Had to send back for repair. It could not be repaired so replaced with refurbed same model. Guess what - exactly same problem with the keyboard so yet another long wait before aquaiting Virgin with the problem. I understand they will now replace with another model (hopefully not a Samsung). Bearing in mind I only discovered this problem because one of my passwords includes symbols I wonder if other users have the same problem but are unaware of it. If it was possible I would not award even one star. Steer clear of this phone.

It is good I especially love the optical trackpad, whoever says the phone is bad,lol it's soo great roll on every one who has given a 5* or 4* but shame on you who gave lower, live your lives in dissapointment!!!!!!!!!! !!!!! !!! !! !

Got this phone around January, and I loved it to start off with. However, about three months later, the trackpad started to freeze occasionally, only for about five minutes. I used to take the battery out and it would be okay again, however it's now doing it every day! No matter how many times I restart it or take the battery out it stays frozen, sometimes for the whole day. I go on the Facebook app, and it restarts, or it just restarts with no reason, becomes very annoying! So disappointed with this phone!!

Since I got the samsung chat I was very happy with it, until I found out that there was a probelm with the legth of the message alert tone, that it cuts out after a very short length of time.

I'm actually in love with this phone. It was an impulse buy, and I do not regret it! It's pretty, (best in white but that's preference) and often gets mistaken for a Blackberry. :) However, this is probably better. Not only does it look like a BB but it has built in Twitter and Facebook which you need no credit to access. You don't even need wifi. The wifi function is good though. It allows you to access the internet with only an internet reception. No credit needed! The camera is absolutely fine and the sound is good quality. Great value for money :D I highly recommend this phone.

Lovely phone got it from tesco back in august, the pink one. Love the colour, battery life etc, however after nearly 4 months of having it. Im bored and missing android. I have thick fingers so sometimes spell something wrong. Dont like how if im adding a contact or got my main menu up i dont recieve calls, so it becomes a missed call. great samsung phone but not for me xx

Had one for three days, could not get email or web to work properly and CPW geek squad were unable to sort it out.. Was swaped for an Alcatel android phone, which sworks really well

Hate this phone, ive tried to persevere for a month with it, the navigation pad is far too sensitive, im an "older" user so i cant keep up with the pad i touch it and its all over the place..:((...ive lost the user manual..(nobodys fault but mine) so i now dont know how to use it properly... I wish i had used it more in the shop before buying it...now im stuck with it as its past the returns date...must say i dont think 14 days is long enough Orange!!!

i think this phone is absolutely outstanding the best phone ever i use it to text my friends all the time and call people!!!! the battery life lasts weeks!! it also looks just like a blackberry everyone says so and they say how much and i tell them and they go and bye one!!!! this phone is excellent i have no moans and their is absolutely nothing to moan about this is a great phone and if you want a blackberry but think that it is to much money you can easily go for this one!! this is a budget- blackberry beater!!! i <3 this phone!!!

just bought this awhile ago.. its a good phone, no problem at all just this one... the keypad doesn't have light... i can't see the letters of its keypad at night when i'm texting, is there a way i can open the light of the keypad.? please send help to me. thanks and god bless.. by the way.. its wifi feature is very good. ican use youtube and any other website . when the wifi says not enough memory it only means the page your surfing is not for the mobile use.. just think of this you can use youtbe,facebook or even twitter. because they make their page compatible to our phone.. and other page don't that's the truth..

Cannot get the samsung apps option on the menu, cannot delete the tracks it came with so have got hardly any space. Wifi i have to keep on turning on to go on free to the internet.Wish i got another phone at the time. Pretty rubbish.

i bought this phone in April, and to start with i thought it was excellent,but then after a month or two it started playing up, it would keep freezing or just suddenly start vibrating and not stop, it also would send and receive texts' multiple times and not tell you if the text has sent in the 'sentbox'. also the track pad would freeze. it lasted me six months and i have since had to buy a new phone as the track pad completely stopped working making the phone useless, overall i feel i wasted my money and would not recommend the samsung chat to anyone.

i brought this phone on Saturday i think it is the best fone in the world it is a blackberry but with sumsung written accross the top what else can u ask from a phone that looks and feels like a blackberry. easy to operate well just to make this even shorter it is a fantastic phone there. BUY ONE OF THESE PHONES IF U DONT U WILL REGRET IT

This was such a brilliant phone.. It does everything like a blackberry, and is DEFINATLY worth the price! It really does seem like it should cost more.. And all my friends are jelouse!<3<3<3
