Best phone I ever had! Mine is now several years old and I would like to replace it for another of the same model. Much better than the Motorola I'm forced to use now.

this is a BRILLIANT phone! its resistance and general durability is amazing, iv had it bout 5 years now and have no plans on getting a new phone! the signal reception i get with it is also amazing the only problem i have with it is the built in camera which isnt very good quality but then if i wanted a good quality camera then i would have bought one!!

This is an amazing phone! The durability is amazing! I have had to for over 4yrs now! It has been through some tough trials and always succeeds! I even dropped it in a river - and it came out with better signal than before. Its an old phone now in looks, but for an active person its excellent

Was very reliable, nothing beats it for reception. Likes: Reliable, funny animal sounds, screen, easy to use, good camera for a VGA model, audio quality. Dislikes: Slightly bulky, fiddly keypad, no mp3 support, 4MB memory, terrible ringtone quality. Sum up: Good in its day but that day was 2003. You can get so much better these days!

i have had the sagem myx7 for over a year it is a very sturdy fone and will take bit of a beating having been falling on by a 8 stone guy and only having a tiny crack it. The infrared in it is very good and can send things to most fone. the video is a bit bad but i will do for me..4/5

wen i got this fone i was like like yes!! for about 1 week is wasnt the phone but it was the network! 02! 10p a txt and about 75p per minuit to the same network god knows wat calls cost 2 another network. the video recording iz dodgy onli about 15 seconds apporling sound quality and on the box it ses amazing quality oh how it was wrong dont get this fone iz my advice but it is your choice

This is an amazing phone. I got it for a Xmas present. My brother has a LG 7100 flip but this is soooo much better. Better picture quality, reception and most of all, memory. His has 1.5mb memory whereas this has 4.5. BUY IT. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really good phone,all beels and whistles, outstanding for the price (#70, brand new off ebay)only 1 problem found, same as an earlier review, I would love to find a modified keypad as texting is not too gracefull, and I appear to have invented new words with my typing :D Cheers

This phone is rubbish. Got it for #99.99 not a bad price. all was well then my sis was using it and it froze. gone nothing happening. ever since den its gon slow. anyways takin it back to get my money back.

this phone will blow you away!!! i got this phone for #30 (mistake on the website) and this phone has everything apart from bluetooth. its got a huge screen a very very good cam its only around #130 buy it now!!! trust me

Have just purchased this phone and would agree with all the points you guys have made. With regards to the keypad, I am having trouble texting on it and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a modified one. Have looked on ebay, but no joy! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Got this to replace a Sony Ericcsson T610i which was a huge dissapointment as it was hopeless at the basic tasks you need of a phone. The Sagem looks cheaper, feels cheaper, and is almost half the price of the Sony. The keypad is poorly designed, the keys are too close together. A look on the internet bought a replacement case for B#5 which solves the problems. The ringtones are dissapointing but you can record your own. Compared to some modern flip phones by LG and sharp, the screen is of lower resolution, and it shows, though its vastly superior to the T610 as you can see it in sunlight. Nor does it come with bluetooth. The bad news ends there, the layout is logical and doesn't take long to get used to, reception is excellent, I've not once lost a signal whilst calling anyone, and the ease of texting with replacement keypad is good. The wap browser is speedy and very easy to use. Supports GPRS or WAP, so choose between speed or cost. IR supported and lots of accesories can be bought on ebay to allow you to linkup to PC. Games are addictive. There's only two but you can download more. The camera is excellent, the quality very nearly equals my old 1.3MP camera. Its actually good enough to use pictures as a background for PC (1/3 of screen) not bad for 640x480, and you can take video's if only 10 second clips!! A lot of new phones are much better than this sagem, they look better, they have a better screen, they have more features, and great sounding tones. But I wouldn't swap the Sagem for any because it does the basics so well.. The speaker phone is great, allows hands free operation without some silly ear peace, and battery life is significantly longer than most other camera phones, and it takes just 5 seconds to turn it on and off!! For the price I don't think you can really buy better. I don't think its as good as more expensive phones but this one won't crash and drive you mad!!!!

This isn't actually a review - am desperate for someone to tell me about the texting situation for this phone. I am deaf, so text a lot and I keep reading the keys are a bit tricky...what do you think? I am a girl so have quite small fingers. But don't want to struggle to send texts! Also thinking about the o2 X2... thanks very much

hey ppl. i've been thinking about getting a new phone for a while now and the sagem myX-7 has been one that i'va been thinking about but i'm still not sure. i've read lots about it but still don't know if i should buy it. what do you lot think? could somebody please tell me if you can use your sound recordings as ringtones? if you can that would be so cool! please will somebody talk back to me soon because i'm going to buy my phone before the 25th of the month! cheers everyone!

If you are wondering whether to get the Sagem MYX7.........GET IT!!!!!! The phone is such good quality, the camera is great, the video is good and you can save LOADS of pictures on it. You can download games, and the preloaded games, Gulo's tale and Siberian Strike are both quite cool. You can use the pictures that you take as screensavers or wallpapers so that is cool, you can also rename your pictures as well. In your phonebook you can add a picture to one of your contacts for caller id. I was worried whether the phone was going to be heavy, but it isn't really and you get used to it!I think that this phone is EXCELLENT value for money at onlu #130 on O2!!!!! This is a must have buy!!!!!

this fone is very good for value, packed full of features, video recording, camera etc. its a pleasure to use and very good camera quality. theres only 2 downs about this fone. 1. buttons are quite close together and are quite hard to text sometimes and 2. video recording only recors 5-10 seconds at the most, other than this it is a very very good fone. I recomend this fone to anyone.

I have not bought this phone yet.I am hoping to get it for my birthday, in September, to replace my samsung A800, so I am not sure on the rating. I just hope its as good as you say it is. Should I get a motorola E550 insead?

It's a great phone, its actually excellent for its cheap price and its quality is good too. The only thing downing it is its size and thats even not that bad! Nothing i can say bad about it apart from the occasional slowness buts thats because iv got so many files on it. Its good.
