i have had one of these phones and in my oppinion they are noy very good and wood not recoment them as in my experiance they break very easaly and if u like your music this is not the phone for you as it has very poor memory and i was only able to fit the max of 7 mp3 on mine. On the other hand i would say that the camera was quick and was a good quolity. it is a stylish fone but i only had mine for a few week and it was being looked after very well but it broke doen internaly. as i do like music i dint like this phone becouse of the memory and after haveing this phone i have upgraded to a samsung e900 wich i would say is a fantastic phone and would recomend one. allthought the o2 ice dos have i slot for a micros sd i tryed one and it din't seem to work in it allthough it workes just fine in my e900.

bought my hubby this phone back in feb and it was a good phone for 4months then the problems started... it wouldnt hook up to the pc, then after sorting it months later, it wont let him into his pictures now, he can take them and uppload them to pc but wont let him view them at all!! he is very disappointed... and has gone back to his ericsson

i think to make it louder you should go to settings-ringtones/sounds then it should give you some optons

my O2 black ice is really good! its not died on me yet (fingers crossed) and looks awesome, and works wonders. it takes a wee while to load messages when u first turn it on, but other hten taht its great! :) xx

i think the worse phone ever its meesed up cnt see pictures its not loud atol cnt get 3g only good thing about it is well i dont know :S

great phone I have over 210 songs on a 1 gig and it not slow at all great fone would be worth around �100 if fround sony or samsung etc

Very fault prone software. Has hung up and then magically restarted(intermittent, so hard to take back to shop). Am mainlyadding commentcoz of one prob we had in case someone else gets same. ...All buttons stuck. This is not an easy phone to take apart as has screws ratherthan nokia type clips. I grabbed the phone and twisted it a bit [disclaimer if youdothis and snap yourphone in two you are a div - it's not my problem] buttons really were physically jammed it tunred out and this popped them back thru thecase properly. Started working again. All in all this phone is quite rubbish technically. My MDA compact (OK different beast entirely) beats it hollow as does the wife's Nokia monstrosity. Phone is perdybut rubbish. One for the kids only.

Was fine for the first 5 months but then started freezing, switching itself off, deleting calllogs not registering saved numbers etc, would expect a phone to last longer than 5 months, would be worth paying the extra money and getting a better phone in the first place! Memory is poor even with a memnory card in! Alrite for a couple of monhts but after that rubbish!

I got my ice less thn a month ago, its a strawberry one n its pink! i love it as ne 17 yr old girl would! had a few minor problems... i cnt hear my msg tone its real quiet, n also i cannot set my songs on my sd card as my ring tone or msg tone! argh! put it though the washing machine this morning praying it will work!:(

You can convert file sound to .pmd. with o2ice .pmd is ok and very loud but i have a problem with it is when i set one pic as wallpaper and i rename it, when i open Photo&Image, it not responding and display "wait..." and cann't open !

Not impressed. It won't recognise the SD card, the volume is so low I hardly ever hear it and it's costing me a fortune to retrieve my voicemails because of this. The battery life is erratic, this morning it showed two thirds full and half an hour later it switched off as the battery was flat even though I hadn't used it. It freezes sometimes and I have to switch it off and then on again to make it work. All in all a very disappointing phone although it looks nice.

very good phone. I would recomend to anyone. I recently bought it for 39.99. for this price you cannot complain. But still if I bought it for 99.99 I would still be complitely saticfied. The only down side is the battery life. the most days I got out of this battery is 5 days. Also it has a memory card slot for extra memory. for me its the perfect phone

This phone looks really good and I always get complemented on it but after about 5 months functions started shutting down and it just keeps getting worse. I've had the phone about 7 months now (keep meaning to take it back) and I only get about a third of my calls through, as far as I can tell, it freezes every time I look in my call list, I can't reset my ringtone and it often just shuts down.

This is a great phone for the money, but I still can't get it to recognise the SD Memory Card. I've tried following the steps put up by Hieu from Viet Nam below, but it still won't recognise the card. I've reformatted the card using FAT (not FAT32). I put it back in the phone, it recognises the card being re-inserted. I then take it out, put on some music via the memory card reader, re-insert into phone and it still doesn't recognise the content. Am I missing a step ?

this fone has to be the worst phone i have ever had. 1. it freezes when sending and recieving messages! 2. i sent it bk twice as the first time it wouldnt turn back on and the second time i couldnt access my music because it sed waiting even after WAITING for 10 minutes!. dont get it its rubbish!!!!

Probably the worst phone I have used in my life. Very bad user interface. The phone was clearly rushed into production. There are far too many bugs with no patches available from o2. I can't redial numbers on my phone, open some folders and do some other things.. never again! I rate this "no" stars.

I have this phone, I like it because it's very easy to use... but I noticed that when you upload music they have to be in mp3 format! which is annoying and the volume doesn't go very loud.

My Ice will not access the pictures in my gallery. I took it back, waited a month and then had the same problem as soon as it was returned to me. rotten phone

iv just got 1 and it has a lot of memory i also think its light and easy to use i would recomend this phone to a lot of people

Stylish and distinctive phone and gets lots of good compliments from people (yeah!), but even after two months I find the functions a bit cumbersome and time-consuming. The worst thing is that, if you start writing a text message and then get distracted by something else, you have to save it as a draft or it deletes it after like 30 seconds! As I am used to Nokias which never did this, I find it infuriating because I never remember to save it. Overall though, it's OK if you're happy to stay with O2 for the foreseeable. Good luck getting it unlocked though - you're frankly more likely to find a car with square wheels.

i've only had mine a day, and its great, everyone adores it >< and im the only one around with it, i've had no issues with it at all, apart from a bit of bluetooth issues first time i tried to start it up. and really, who needs a phone for an mp3 when we all have iPods. get real.

what a load of rubbish!!!!!! dont buy if you need a phone in an emergency. battery has a mind of its own it can last 2/3 days or 2/3 hours

It has a cool design, that's all. The sound of O2 Ice is too low, it's not loud enough for you to recognize that your phone's ringing. So if you just use it in vibrate mode, it's OK. Because of the sound quality, O2 Ice is bad for enjoying music and video. The one thing that you may concern is that it can't recognize the other formats of phone no., ex: when my friend ring me, the phone number donot show the country code (the prefix +84...) while in the sms it show, O2 Ice cannot recognize those are just 1 number, so I cannot know who is sms me!!!

i really liked this phone untill it broke and constantly says "insert sim". it is badly made by a noname rubbish company (pantech .... wtf?) it is a pile of balls so dont buy it

ive got this phone..had it since February. and had no problems with it. until this morning. i was renaming some pictures, and suddenly to my horror.. it came up with : Waiting..... and it carried on and now i cant get to my pictures. is this a common software problem with this model? and if so how do i get it fixed? please help =(

I had the Sony Ericsson W810i before this phone and lost it so I bought this one because it was cheap and it is a average phone with my other phones even D500 I used to take pictures and videos all the time but with this phone I don't even bother and also the call logs just one day vanished if someone rings me and I miss it I can't see who rung me I will be changing it soon but it's ok for ringing and texting.

I've had the o2 Ice for about 6 months now. It was excellent at the start and I couldn't disagree with all the great reviews, however, look on the net for o2 after 6+ months time period. Mine now breaks down every time I make/recieve calls or check my call log and says "RECOVERING" then takes about 5 mins to start up again. I can't access my pictures from the phone any more either, have to use the USB. Everything else is excellent. !Check Ebay and reasons for people selling the phone!
