Worst phone ever made by Nokia and as compared even to other companies.......it's just a style statement.no apps...no games.....nothing is available for it! Unless u hack it.....even then it's limited...never buy this phone...I've been stuck with it for 1 n 1/2 year now.....

Phone was terrible, glitches in the operating system, unpredictable reboots, TERRIBLE battery life and the recent discovery of a problem with the touch screen (seems to be OS related). Waste of money.

Many reviews state that N97 is slow and it hangs. My personal experience is that nothing of that sort happens to my N97 mini. It is very efficient and performs very well. Connectivity is really impressive just like my old N82 which is still doing very well. N97 mini is slow but that is tolerable. Well different people have different opinions.

After 3 repairs i finally got vodafone to give me an entirely different phone. I loved it, but i keep getting software and connection errors, and i'm pretty sure i'm not the only one.

it is so so annoying. it wont open images. says full memory so it wont open. but with 7gb free memory i dont think so. lots off little troubles like music not appearing crashing denieing calls for no reason by its self. i prefer my old n95. now sold to mazuma mobile. i hate it and i cant wait for a new phone i would reccomend buying different phone that wont break every 5 minutes.

Complete rubbish, wish I'd never done a 24mth contract. On my 3rd N97 first had problems with phone freezing, took 3 months to sort out, now the headset has stopped working, the software has always been buggy, phone wont unlock sometimes to receive calls, internet slow, won't buy a Nokia again.

The worst phone I have ever had, and I have had a lot of them. The hardware is pretty nice but that is where it ends. The software is terrible. Battery life is about 5 hours on standby. I have to always have an extra battery in my pocket as well as a charger. What a waste of money and time.

I have had the Nokia N97 mini for about 10 months. It was always difficult to turn off an on, but it suddenly wouldn't turn on at all. I have just been told that the phone is a write-off due to exposure to "moisture". As I know the phone hasn't been wet, I can only assume that this is because of the recent Brisbane humidity. I am disappointed to spend top dollar (to me anyway) on a phone that doesn't last a year.

A very poor effort from Nokia. Used to be a fan - will take ALOT to consider Nokia again. Very poor software - slow, cumbersome, non intuitive. GPS DOES NOT WORK - come on Nokia - this is false advertising. Poor PC software - frequent problems trying to update software. Very long backup/restore process. Very little memory for install applications. Dropped calls. Standby button inconsistent so that it some times locks the phone, other times doesn't. Poor internet software. Slow internet. Need I go on. Question is why I was fooled into buying this phone on a 2 year contract. And now??? - yep I have a £20 phone from local supermarket to replace it. Other reviews are the same, so you'd be wise to look elseware.

After using my Nokia N97 for 12 months I can honestly say it is the single worst phone I have ever had! It is now basically unusable. I crashes 3+ a day, is very laggy, has frequent lockups, fails to display caller name and the keypad repeatedly stops working multiple times a day. All in all it is incredibly dreadful. Going to get an alternative phone now and avoid Nokia for the time being.

i have this phone and hate it! the back always comes off and the battery comes out. sometimes it want charge and the touch screen freezes the whole time. don't buy it it is rubbish and over priced for what it is!

Wow! i wish i had came on here before i bought this phone. Without a doubt the WORST phone i have ever had. I'm on my second one now as the first one had to be replaced after one week. Battery lasts only a few hours - Does not charge properly, Drops calls, Freezes constantly, Restarts most days, Even in loud profile no message tone or alert - I have to go into my inbox to check if i have a message!! Changing phone as soon as i can and will NEVER get another nokia!!!!!

The phone looks good, has a fantastic keyboard and the potential to be a great business phone, but it stops there. The phone has manifested itself as a annoying buggy software. It freezes, restarts and rejects incoming calls, which actually is a serious problem. The phone has a program for firmware update, however no firmware shows up. It must be delivered for repair to receive the firmware. Stability is a must for all business phones, but in this case it simply doesn't exist. Reading a bunch of other reviews, my experiences with this phone is not the exception, rather the confirmation of a bad product.
