The E63 is a fantastic mobile except for one thing....the camera. I've got a Nokia 6220 classic with a 5 megapixel camera and the picture quality is outstanding. The picture quality on the E63 ain't bad but not good either. The other fuctions on the phone are good and the keypad is brilliant. Alot better than the touch screen phones. I would recommend it to anyone who's needing a phone for business use.

Good phone and simply easy to set up and use. You dont need a usb cable, it's got WLAN and bluetooth!!!! good battery life, comfy to use and simply great value for money. Internet is very quick, and even quicker on Wlan connected. Best phone Ive had but i have only experienced 5 or so. Last phone i had had for 4 and a half years so the E63 is light years ahead. Its not mega flash but it is far from rubbish and just as capable as a blackerry bold.

had this phone for about 6months and got very bored. I loved it at first and couldnt put it down, i have a 2GB memory card in mine&its so slow, when you try to listen to music it can take upto 10 seconds to load,I was with 3 which always had signal, dropped it a few times but never broke which is very good..internet is quite fast but annoying when it crashes with about 3 bars of signal.. battery life is AMAZING lasts about 4-5 days. Would recommend this phone, but only to people who have patience and dont get bored on phones as quickly as i do(:

Everything about it is perfect. Its wonderful for buisness people with its emails and intranet and also perfect for teenagers with the 3G internet and easy-to-use keyboard. Although the camera is only 2MP, it still takes some wonderful pictures! I got this phone yesterday with the 3 contract above, which is perfect for me as im almost 13 and love going on msn, facebook and sending texts. I was due for an upgrade on 3, but after they did me a superb sim only deal for £15, decided to scrap an upgrade and instead went and bought a Nokia E63. What an all round excellent phone, I have not been able to put it down. I love internet radio and find the Nokia Internet Radio app really great. As I like a bit of social networking on Facebook, I have added an app for instantly uploading photos and videos straight to my FB account. Just about anything is possible with this handset. Oh and the push email via Email on 3 works great. I now also receive my work email on it too and the opening and editing of word/excel/powerpoint is just wonderful. I have upgraded the quick office for free to allow use of office 2007 material too ( as well as lots of other useful apps) A really outstanding phone..DO NOT HESITATE..BUY IT!!

This is a brilliant phone, the unit itself is very well built and all the buttons have a nice feel to them, it also looks very nice in the flesh so to speak, without being flashy. The operating system on the phone is excellent, very intuitive and the phones hardware is capable of running it very quickly and smoothly, you can also have a high number of applications running in the background due to the large amount of RAM in the device. The internet browser on the phone is good but i would recommend downloading opera mini for free, it is an excellent browser and works really well on this handset. Part of what makes this phone so good for browsing the web is the excellent screen which is very sharp and the colours are vibrant. I also like that it has a 3.5mm headphone jack which means you can use your headphones from other devices with the phone without needing any kind of adapter. The battery life is one of the phones strongest points, it is simply outstanding. All in all, easily the best phone i have ever owned and i hope it will serve me well for a number of years.

I love most of the stuff this phone does, and while it is very good when it's working, it's reliability can be sketchy. After owning the phone for 2 weeks, everything went wrong. It would start up, and then not load anything. Press the menu button, and it would take 60 seconds for the menu to appear etc. After having to order a USB cable because Nokia don't supply one, It took me a whole evening to get the phone to stay on the home screen long enough for it to go into USB mode. I managed to back everything up and re-install the software which fixed it. However, I often get problems when the phone has been on all day. By the evening, I find the signal is showing 0 bars, and I have to switch off the phone and turn on again to recover the signal. Very annoying, hopefully there will be a software update to fix this very soon. Apart from that, it is a pretty good phone, everything it does it does well, and it seems very well made. The options for configuring the WIFI are VERY limited, which is a shame, but apart from that, and the software problems its a fairly good phone. If it wasn't for all the trouble I've had with the software I would happily give it 5 stars though... :(

The E63 is pretty good value for money at just under £100, but the build has a very plastiky feel to it unlike the E71 or E72, but for 100 quid what would you expect? I have to say I do prefer the BlackBerry OS, followed by the iPhone 3G. The Curve 8900 has excellent build quality but not as good as the BlackBerry Bold. The keyboard layout is always better on the Curve or Bold rather than the flat geometric style of the Nokia e63-72 or BlackBerry Storms. Sound on both are amazing.

If you want to use push email, the e63 is not for you. The only way I can find to do it is to use the Nokia Messaging service, which is eventually going to cost money. The phone itself does not actually support push email. The user manual says you have to connect to check your email when using IMAP, and even with alerts turned on, the email client does not stay connected. Nokia's advertised features are basically a lie, unless you eventually want to pay Nokia an extra subscription fee. And they no longer make this clear during the setup process. Older reviews of the phone show a clear option to "try" their service, or to just use the built-in client. Now it only mentions the possibility of a charge in a long list of terms of use, and it starts the install automatically unless you actually read what is normally a generic legal agreement.

Bought the phone in a package with Orange May 09, it was always causing problems for me when using. In September 09 it started dropping calls. I had to turn it off and back on to get a connection, it would take text messages a day or more latter, I would receive the message it cut out constantly and did not always receive messages in my answer phone. After taking it back three times they eventually gave me a replacement reconditioned phone. Which to my horror when I charged it up it just went blank after pressing any button. In short I wish I had kept my Nokia. I will never deal with The Carphone Warehouse again or Sony Ericson. They refused to accept responsibility for their Insurance Geek Squad. I am going to trading standards. If I could give a lower mark than poor I would. For the phone and the Carphone Warehouse.

i was using the nokia 6233 music phone, what suddenly drifted my mind towards the enhancement to series 60 operating system was its immensible compatibility towards the very exciting that would be a limiting factor for the norman java,s40,generic or neucleus OS.i am presently using it,its a great master piece, some of the really superb features of this device are its ability to play HD games, has a great 3G compatibility and supports all type of email clients, supports push mail system, enhanced connectivity features like intranet,VoIP,net telephony etc, just speaking of the complicated features, apart from this coming to the multimeda features its not up-to the mark,2mp camera with LED flash and sound quality is totally rubbish with standard nokia ear peices but has a 3.5mm heatset port which can handle relly serious pumped up beats in BOSE headphones, its totally enterprise level PDA,has immensive inbuilt memory of 120mb,so almost it never hanged till now, great phone in such price,i say go for it,
