Reviewed by Richard Isaacs on 15/11/2009 I think this is one of the three best phones Nokia has made, the others being the old 6150 and the 6310i. I only do two things with a phone: Make phone calls and send text messages. The 9300 has good RF and good voice quality, which are the two most important qualities in a cell phone for me, and a low SAR rating, which I also consider to be important. I put in a non-OEM high capacity battery, and have no talk time issues. The 9300 does NOT include a camera, which is a big plus for me. On the down side, it is tri-band rather than quad-band (not a problem if you don't travel, but an incredibly stupid choice on Nokia's part), does not use predictive text in closed-phone mode (not a problem if you use the keyboard, which I do), and does not vibrate (about which I don't care a lot). Since the only application I run is the software that allows me to connect the 9300 to my PC to use Oxygen Phone Manager II (which is MUCH better than PC Suite!), it is unlikely that I will ever experience the functional problems that others seem to have encountered. Reviewed by NITIN SUKTHANKAR on 28/02/2007 i own a nokia 9300 & find that it's a great phone. however, i cannot fathom why nokia has scrimped on the video player. the real player is rot, given that most videos are in .wmv format. anyone who shells out a substantial sum for the nok9300 can surely afford to shell out some more for a stock video player............. Reviewed by ozav sheidun on 07-08-2005 its a mobile office!!i`ve been able 2 get a lot of work done with this phone.hey, wat was nokia thinking of, not having vibrating mode?i end up getting too many missed calls.i`ve still not been able to receive files using infra-red,but found it easy to send via it.all the same, its a cute phone.very reasonably sized.also, not having a camera is a disapointment,i guess nokia intends to come up with a newer model that has a camera(market strategy)so we`d all have to buy it.nokia i asume should always come up with there best, but is this the best they could have come up with at the time?
