THIS PHONE IS WICKED!!!! IV HAD IT SINCE AGES STILL USE IT AS 1 OF MY MAIN PHONES. BIGGG UP TO THIS PHONE!!! I admire evereything about this phone. Its sleek and cool and it has the basic features of a phone that you use everyday. I dont care if this baby is evpensive. The only thing important to me is that most people in this world cant afford it and that makes it an elite phone and that means im one of them. Enough of this video, camera nonsense. If your cool and dont give a **** then this phone is for you.

I have been using my 8910i since 2003 and despite repeated requests to upgrade, I'm still impressed with this phone and the clarity of the calls. I've got a camera that takes better pictures than any phone, got a laptop, got gps in my car - I just need a good reliable phone. The only problem is that I dropped it and the screen cracked. I took it to Nokia for repairs and now they've gone and lost it. I'm devastated!!

Listen-up, if your reading this review then you probably fall into a niche. Now a niche is just that, a niche, and if you want to stay in that niche then you need and seek niche products, the 8910i is such a product. The phone doesn't do anyting well except the things it was primarily designed to do, namely make and receive phone calls, all other considerations apart from the odd text are mute. What is not mute however is people's reaction to the phone, this is something that money can buy, because you will instantly be cool and Niche as soonas you pull this phone out and use it when the time is right.

Nokia 8910i. I bought this phone when it replaced the 8910 a few years ago. Back then this Nokia was quite up-to-date, not state-of-the-art "minus the Titanium case," it was the phone to have. I found the buttons very fiddly to use, no back-light on buttons (be carefull ringing or texting in dim light), it slides open on it own "i think that due to very high useage, the release pins begins to weaken" and the colour screen is useless. I LIKE THIS PHONE. It looks good, feels good and the way it opens! it a lads phone "that the ladies comment, honest". I use my phone everyday, i have dropped it many times, accidentally kicked it on numerious occasion and stood on, it is still working. All the knocks & bangs this phone has sustained throught out the years it condition is very good, never fell apart and carried on working. The 8910i have never being service since day 1, there was no need. I do have other phones, bit of a sucker for up to date technology, but for some reason the 8910i is the phone i want with me. It was expensive, but worth every penny. Guys at Nokia, you did well on this one. Keep up the good work. P.S. i rate 3 stars against modern phone standards, otherwise it would be a 4.

I gave it a 4-star rate comparing to the new 8800, although at its time it's definitly a 5-star rated cell-phone! I've had it for 2 days and I love it! Everywhere I go, people seem to be amazed at its looks. I'm lucky I got to find a brand new one after 2 years of its production date.

I'm not one of those girls that's bothered with the latest gadgets or the most dazzling technology, but since I saw my boyfriend's 8910i I've been a mobile phone convert. I've never really liked them and used to find the way people used them in public annoying. Then I met Nigel. He took me for a Magners in a great bar in town and left his phone on the table when he went to the bar. I had a little look at it and was instantly struck by it's sleek lines and lovely sliding action. When he got back with our drinks he saw me with it and started telling me all about it. Usually I couldn't think of anything worse than a 'mobile bore', but Nige really sold it to me. In fact, he actually sold it to me! What I didn't realise was Nige ran a mobile phone shop and despite there being more modern and more expensive models he's stayed faithful to his 8910i. He's stayed faithful to me to, and I've also got a 8910i myself. We look a right pair in his MX5 with matching phones!

I took ownership of the Nokia 8910i in the fall of '05. In my expert opinion there is nothing to rival this top-of-the-range Nokia. When your out on the town and want to 'be seen' this handest from Europes finest mobile phone manufacturer is ideal, whenever I take a call I ensure someone is watching me as I squeeze the 2 silver triggers on the sides of the phone. If your rolling with your standard 6 series Nokia and you clock me pulling the trigger on my Nokia 8910i get ready to be impressed. I most certainly look the part dressed in Armani, rolling in my M3 BMW and to top it off I have the most stylish Nokia 'on the hip'. It's like i've always said "life's for living".

Fantastic piece of hardware. Bought this phone offline when it first came out 3 years ago. Have had no problems with it or wanted it to do any more than it could. Easy to use Nokia menus and excellent functionality make this one of the better phones on the market. My remit when buying this phone was to get a phone which looked the part and did not have any distractions (Camera, MP3, etc..) which slow down the operating system and cause stability problems within it. This phone is 3 years old and still gets the wow factor and seen by others. Was looking to upgrade to the 8800, but don't think I will bother. 5 stars.

I just wanted to reply to the user who said it is not possible to reject calls: not true, although it's not immediate. You need to slowly open the cover as far as to uncover the "silence/reject" button (upper right), and press it soon.

The Nokia 8910i is in a class of it's own. The unrivalled quality compared to all other phones on the market is reflected in it's price but keeps the Nokia 8910i a rare phone on the market.

This is the superior Nokia phone to beat all other mobiles. Has not every latest function, but it has everything you will need, and it does everything with perfection. If you are using your 8910i for business it will store all your contacts and other business data and it will make the right impression when you meet with clients or other contacts. Reception and call clarity are the best in any mobile that I have seen. Reliability is 100 per cent. This phone is also very exclusive because of its price, but it is not too much for what it does, considering that it is made of titanium and in fact it is necessary to be expensive in order to keep it exclusive. At the same time it is a classy phone, not a vulgar display. It also has bluetooth which is an invaluable feature for using handsfree in the car, which is essential these days of course. To be recommended 100 per cent.

Being a nokia fan from the start, i think i maybe a little biased, but the nokia 8910i is the best phone i've owned yet! Not only does the 8910i look the part, (cool sliding case!) but it's as robust as any nokia, (i've dropped it at least 100 times in the last month!) but it does everything it's supposed too! it makes phone call (sorry no camera, or other multimedia nonsense!) and does a good job of it! Also has a the lowest radiation level of all the mobiles on the market at the moment. This was what sold me on the phone, (paranoia from a numb face, after 20 mins on my old phone...no such problems with 8910i) I think it has something to do with titanium shell... Summary: Perfect Phone.

. Very nice cool, luxury/elegant blackish cover and silver keypads. . color screen is good enough for mms, games, and other stuff . system menu is very fast, i don't like those lagging ones on samsung phones etc . good connectivity, bluetooth, gprs, infrared everything you need. (however there some bad points below) . good memory, can store many people on the contact list, can store plenty messages, etc..java application and games stability is excellent . game features is amazing, i downloaded Final Fantasy RPG game to play on my phone and i think its the only game i ever need to kill time . the titanium cover is strong, you can throw the phones anywhere, many times and the phones will not break except the plastic part on the back of the phone. (but scratches everywhere) (i really did it, when i was fighting over someone on the phone) . Battery life is excellent . if you want to use this phone as paired device for pda, laptop etc for internet gprs connection is excellent choice . Who said P900 was better? look at its gigantic size and extremely ugly look . voice quality outstanding, even without handsfree . organiser and extra features very useful . excellent signal reception . its small Bad points: . Scratches very easily, and the phone's structures are not mostly made from titanium even on the outer part of the phone there is still a huge plastic part on the back of the phone above the nokia silver sign. the plastic parts break easily. . opening mechanism gets really bad ater a few weeks of use, and when it gets bad, the upper part of the phone will slide out like a cheap plastic toy when you press it. . 2 bottom corners of the phone screen are blurry (bottom of Menu and Names). . Phone software is not stable even the lastest one, phone will crash often (specially when its on standby). so don't even think of using the phone as everyday alarm. . Minimum support from Nokia dealers for repairement, since this is a premium product you have to get in touch with nokia club for repairement . New casing cost around US150 . No lights on the number keys as this will be problem to some people who dont memorize the alphabet on the key numbers when they try to write SMS . can't reject calls . can't transfer files (graphics, ringtones) thru paired devices (mobile phones, pda, etc) . the bluetooth wireless headset can disconnect by itself because of loss signal while you're on the call. . dual band only, can't use the phone in the US Final Point: . Good for people who want to be elegant and different since not many people own this phone. If you want to buy high-end phones with excellent features then go look somewhere else this is not the phone for you. you will get very dissapointed with it. . be ready to change the phone casing at least every 2 months and update the software via nokia club or from those pro mobile mod people on the street. . when the first time youhave this phone you;re gonna be wow, you can show off to people, friends around you specially with the still new opening mechanism when you receive call. . You definetly will get annoyed with system unstability, can't reject calls, and scratches on your phone (even if you think you won't), however you will get used to it after a while. . also i disagree with people who said this is a phone for so called professional or rich or whatever high class thing. It's just a different kind of phone, stop saying weird stuff :P take a look at vertu phones and you will know what im trying to say www.vertu.com As for me the reason why i bought this phone is because . i like nokia's phone system and menu, specially on the 8910i as it is very fast like the old nokias. the lagging menus and low frame rate graphic display on other brands are gay. who cares about rich colourful display when its lagging and the frame rate is like 1fps? nokia's graphic doesnt lag at all. . i don't care about the camera , polyphonic ringtones (normal ringtones sounds more elegant and peaceful to me, others are annoying and who actually listen to them?) and someother all-in-one pointless gadget on a mobile phones as they are really suck and you won't need it most of the time. I'm happy enough with colorful java games, can fit 500 friends on mobile list (diferent numbers, emails, etc), good connectivity (bluetooth, gprs, infrared), good battery life, and everything else that you actually need to have on a phone. . from my experience, people who use those gadget techonish phone thing that has camera and stuff, soon they will buy a new similiar phone so fast, as the new one come out. I don't think I will buy new phone for about at least 2 years. last time i used my 8210 for 4 years since i think it was a really good phone and i didn't even bother to upgrade even that i got money. . and the last point is that i've been trying to find a good quality phone which has black color for ages. and at last i found it, This is really the only good quality phone that has black color in the market. I hope my review can help those people who are confused about this phone and for people who are thinking to buy it.
