Nokia 7250i
Product Rating
The Nokia 7250i is an upgraded version of the Nokia 7250. It offers XHTML support for a better mobile browsing experience, plus improved camera functions, enhanced MMS, and comes in a new range of colours. The built-in camera offers functions like zoom, contrast adjustment, slideshow, and a night mode for low-light conditions. The image editor enables you to add text, frames, and clip art images. Enhanced MMS offers delivery reports for sent messages, advanced group messaging features, and image scaling to reduce message size. "Portrait image caller ID" means you have the option of seeing a pre-set picture of the person who's calling you. Like the 7250, the Nokia 7250i incorporates an integrated digital camera and offers nearly every feature most people will want: colour display, polyphonic ringtones, a stereo FM radio and triple band, as well as Java capability. The Java capability means that you can download games just as easily as downloading ringtones or graphics. As well as Java games, you can also download applications like personal assistants, travel and information tools. MMS means that you can send and receive multimedia messages containing text, MIDI audio files, and graphics or animations.

Reviewed by David Jones on 23/05/2009 This has to be one of my favourite Nokia phones ever, and I'm onto my 5th one now. I got it out and charged it up "for old times sake" and even though it seems to lack in features and has a tiny screen compared to today's phones, as others have said, the battery life is incredible which is important for me as I travel a lot. My current phone (N95) needs to be charged every evening which is an annoyance. I mainly text, and on the keypad on this model, it was a joy. The buttons seemed perfectly arranged with a nice, slightly spongy feeling to them rather than the newer models which seem so clicky. If my latest Nokia ever breaks, I'd probably consider getting this one up and running again instead of getting a new one. Rating:
Reviewed by David on 21/02/2009 Out of all the Nokia's I've owned, this is still one of my favourites 5 years on. I don't care about fancy features, just the ability to make calls, send texts and maybe play the odd game. The battery life is incredible, and I've had up to 7 days fairly heavy use out of it without a charge, compared the later phones. I'm using a Nokia 6233 now, and I need to charge it every 2 days which is tiresome. Nokia really need to get their act together with battery life now. It used to be fantastic but now it's rubbish. Other companies phones last longer so I don't know why Nokia is falling behind... Rating:

Reviewed by addy on 01-06-2006 i must agree with the other reviewers in that this phone is durable.i've had mine since 2004 and no major problems yeah the camera sucks but the phone is reliable and i've been able to download tons of games and take out many useful pictures, especially when a camera phone was a novelty back then.reception is hardly a problem and it still keeps ticking i have lots of faith in it.i might get another handset for a change but might regret it as this one still works awesome and still have lots of fun with it Rating:
Reviewed by trr on 19-05-2006 Good: Small. Good battery life. Reliable and easy to use.
Bad: Quite a bit of dust gets in to the screen under the cover. Doesn't come with a USB adapter, which costs $150 separately from Nokia (last time I checked). Vibrator stopped working for a while, now is intermittent (works most of the time).
Overall: It is a good phone that I bought mainly for the good battery life and small size. I was disappointed by the dust getting in under the screen and am considering a sealed phone (no changeable covers) next time. Rating:

Reviewed by Kestral on 22-12-2005 I have had this phone for 18months and it has never let me down! Even after dropping it, quite a few times, no damage done! Pictures are great. Radio quality great only downside is you need the earphones in to hear it thru loudspeaker which i find alittle strange?! Easy to use ... just great really! In fact why am i looking for a different phone to upgrade to??? Just fancy a change, but will probably regret it ce la vie! Rating:

Reviewed by Georgia on 25-11-2005 I've had this phone for a good couple of years, and it's still going strong! The memory- whether it was a mistake on my phone alone- is remarkable; I have around two hundred pictures with room for more. Although the picture quality is lacking compared to today's standards, I still stick with it in the face of the N90. This phone generally rather quirky and extraordinarily reliable and hard-wearing.
Good Points:
Hard Wearing Nokia, Lovely memory size, Easy to use Nokia text format and in general, an easy to use Nokia.
Bad Points:
The picture quality was brilliant as a new phone- but it has recently been beaten by the newer models.
To Summarize:
Get the Phone; It will love you as much as you love it! Rating:

Reviewed by Sam Morgan on 10-04-2005 This is a great phone, but a fault which even vodafone cannot explain is the GPRS it jus hasnt worked. The phone is robust, I've dropped mine countless times and the phone may be scratch but because of the Xpress on covers that is easily solved. If you want a phone what will withstand 2 flights of marble staircase, Puddles and falling from 10 feet in the air this your ideal phone, would reccomend it to anybody ! Rating:

Reviewed by Will on 24-11-2004 I have had this phone for nearly a year and I can tell you this phone is superb. I upgraded from the terrible t720i so you can appreciate my fondness for this piece of kit. A compact, stylish phone with most of the features you would expect: radio, organisor and hands free. However, the camera is not great over distance and is only average overall. This phone will keep you cheerful with its hand features and the battery life will ensure you will be talking/txting/surfing for hours. Rating:

Reviewed by NonYaBusiness on 15-10-2004 I've had a Nokia 7250i for about a year and i was pretty pleased. I paid #200 for my fone and i wanted 2 cry wen i saw it advertised for #89. But wat can u do??? I think the camera is rubbish (very shakey) and wat do they mean its a zoom camera???? U can only zoom in after you have taken da picture! My one was also sim free and i spent months tryin 2 get all da settins so i cud jus snd MMS msgs but now its all sorted. Word of advice - DON'T BUY A SIM FREE FONE!!! I think it cud av dun wiv being a bit smaller & lighter because it does weigh your pocket down. I think the radio is stupid. If u wnt 2 play da radio on loudspeaker u still av 2 plug in da headset??? On da positive side it holds loads ov games. I've gt bout 50 games, 50 ringtones and bout 150 wallpapers/ photos & da memory still isn't full:) If ur lookin 4 a phone with all da latest features and a great camera i'd luk elsewhere bt if u wnt a basic camera fone dat can do most things den u shudnt ova luk this 1. Reviewed by Aziz on 11-01-2004 Ok first of all this phone is **** I mean come on look at the camera quality and a 4k screen is just poor....the 6600 is a much better phone with a 64k screen. The only good thing about this phone is that you can download a lot of cool stuff and customise it but not as u can with the software that u can get for the 6600. I think that this is a #### mobile for the reason that the 7210 was a good phone and this should be a big upgrade but the only extra thing you get ins a crappy quality camera. U buy this your a fool. why do you think it went down 220 quid within 2 monhts of release? Rating:
