in india airtel doesnt provides 3g so no use of it........but if you have 3g or egprs edge networks then its rocking indeed...in my reviews i find its camera perfect @1.3 mega pix and nice web browser guud installers and wares supports although hangs nd reboots a lott.......overall its best in its class wen it was released....

the fone is gud but u cant put the volume up 4 the alarm. other then that the fone is gud. i gave it 3 starz out of 5. if anyone knows the solution 4 my problem then can u please write it down. it is a gud fone.

April 2008 & my 6630 is still going as strong as ever, not one problem, must best part of 4 years old. It's both a work and private phone so gets used all the time. I've dropped it no end of times as well.

Well I thinbk you are (mostly) a load of moaning old minnies. I bought my 6630 s/hand off E-Bay locked on Orange and it is a brilliant phone. No faults whatsoever, good battery life Good (for only 1.3 Megapixies)camera, e-mail loudspeaker, blue tooth. None of the rediculous faults you see on newr phones lik screen cracking. losing signal messages disappearing. They should never have stopped making it. Everyone should stop trying to look trendy and buying junk. 'Old is Gold'!

to avoid restarts and phone switching off hold down the button next to the green one for 2 secs and shut applications down. Had this phone for four years with no probems at all. All latest phones have software issues and you only know this if you work for o2 ;) Also when phone is switched on hold down pencil button to prevent this. Have dropped it a million times but its solid as a C Rock.

To be honest the phone is totally worthless, last week i bought 2 different handsets and the same problem occured in both, it constantly switched off, whilst i was calling and texting the habits were the same, very rubbish phone and advise alot not to buy it, i recently purchased the LG shine bar and that is a fantastic phone, very slim and solid, no problems with it at all, i was delighted to see both my 6630 handsets sold on ebay:)

I own this phone since 2 years ago, and it has been fell down many times and it still keep running smoothly.. the features is sufficient enough for me even with only 1 camera, I still able to do a video call, well, what can I say more.. whaddaya think?

Reading through the gripes here, it seems - while accepting that few things are perfect - that most of the problems are caused by lack of knowledge - and pretty basic knowledge at that. For me it's been a fine mobe with no problems - just read the manual, people - please! And, as several people have pointed out, just don't leave a mess of open programmes - use it, close it.

The best mobile phone I've ever owned and this year it'll be 4 yers old. It's easy to use with clear screen resolution and instructions, acceptable battery life of 2-3 days with moderate use and most important, it's compact. I've dropped it hard several times and the consequnce are only minor scraches on the surface. Connection is brilliant and clear, speaker works without any additional noises, and the only thing worth mentioning is occasional interruption of the signal after hour or so of talking. Photographs are clear and the resolution allows taking decent photos which I've been able to publish with no problems so far in different books nad magazines. It posed no problems when switching the original 64 MB MMC to 1G MMC, which is quite enough for number of songs, videos and other multimedia stuff. Bluetooth works perfectly and the USB connections to computer run easy. This year I had some problems with sending and receiving messages (text and MMS), and the phone sometimes made phonecalls on its own but solved the problem with returning to factory settings and it works like a charm again. Internet browsing is quite easy and checking the email box never gave me any headache. Overall, decent and reliable phone.

phone's great, especially when i switched to a 512 MMC. I was able to store like up to 120 rock mp3 songs and just play it continuously, battery life is excellent as well. it's clean to look at and the silver finish gives a business/techy flavor. one thing notable is the crispy pictures of 1.3 pix, even better than a 2megapix SE, believe me. by the way, my 6630 was just stolen 4 days ago.it broke my heart.

I have had this phone for 2 years now! It has never let me down once! Ive never had to change the fascia or battery. The phone is still fully intact and in perfect working order. It contains minor chips and scratched thats as bout as bad as it gets. And no I am not a law-abiding 60 year old man who never uses the phone. I first brought the phone brand new when I was 15 and I am now 17. Go out drinking at weekends with my phone and it gets thrown around all over the place in my car when I'm driving. I would love to change my phone but I keep thinking, its never let me down and has all the facilities that i require, alright its not the best looking, or smallest phone but its doing it job at the moment so i would rather spend the money on petrol or a good drink like any other kid my age :D

Well..... I lost it. I brought it in 2005 end and its been a very gOood Handy Mobile phone. Never faced any hardware or software problems with it. Camera takes very good quality Photos. When compared to N70 its much better, I felt. (Ok nt comparing with K750) Sound is really good. It meets many a business requirements, All in all a well packaged Quality product... looking forward to such pieces in future from Noia

just over a year and 5months now, not had any problems, with it, only recently has the battery life started to lessen(i talk alot on the phone, bluetooth is always on), programs and games work well. slow response at times but that is due to the mmc card i have, i like this phone but its time for a new one, hopefully the newer nokias will be of the same build quality and not like some of the previous nokias i have used, all in all a good phone if u dont mind the bulk.

I used this phone for a year and a half, and had a chance to gauge it on various parameters. It has some awful problems and some excellent qualities so I am giving it a balanced rating. Bad things - whenever I had to send a msg, I would have to go to the Outbox and re-send the msg else it does not leave my outbox. Also, it kept showing "memory full" and hanging when all memories had ample space. Good things - very durable (dropped it often but didn't have a problem), excellent camera, and an overall good usability

It is great as per my observation. I never faced any problem with it and it never let me down. Look is unusual and that liked by the people. Internal memory should have been more, it felt sometimes. Still if one skilled person use it, shall find it great. I used 3 sets before it but it is the best. I love the compatibility with the other systems.

On the 3 network, so not sure if it's the phone or network provider. It takes several seconds to connect after pressing the green dial button. Also, general processing speed appears to be slow. Pic quality has been good. Videos were good and the screen size is useful - although I scratched mine easily carrying it in my pocket. I hope it's better.I've had my phone for almost 2 years - now upgrading to a 6288.

i love this phone i realy do.i swopped it about 5 months ago with a samsung e720 and ever since ive got a bigger memory card and i love it.i bought a nokia 6280 but omg dont get one ther rubbish. the dust gets in the screen all the time and ther realy rubbish. i dont no if it was because i couldnt leave my baby 6630 but i dont no but i love it so much i realy do. get one. i no ther ol mine nearly 2 years old but i love it! ide give it a 6 but ther is none!!

I have had my Nokia 6630 for 2 years now and it is one of the best phones I have ever had. I had to wait 6 months before I had it new, because it was the latest Nokia at the time and I had to wait for it to be accessible in the shops, but it was worth the wait. My only gripe is the phone battery, if I use it for any length of time the battery runs out fairly quickly, but it is still an excellent phone. It has all I need in a phone and more. I have used the camera for 3 car accidents I was involved in (not my fault) and it was invaluable, the picture quality is superb. So in 2 years I have had no real problems with it.

THE BEST PHONE EVER!!!!!!!!!! I had Sony Ericssons for 2 years so i desided to get Nokia. And 6630 is better then any Sony Ericsson i had:K600i,K700i,k750i... IT is the BEST!!! Smarth phone with 3G men I Love it and it is cheap for that much options! Camera is not as good as on K750i but 1.3 megapxels are just enough. THE phone is now old but still excellent!!!!!

i bought a second hand 6630 with 3months of warranty left well it worked well 4 3 days and after that i saw its LCD start flickering with brightness set 2 lowest level, it started getting held while writin sms and also restarting time and again,strange chick chick periodic voices some from the cell as u hold it close 2 ear from back side,

Not good Mobile as I and my brother had bad experiences with this phone. The Initial offer of the mobile when introduced was too much high and now at this date the prices has falled almost to GBP 110. Connectivity is good and voice is clear but its big on hand to hold.

I looked at all the reviews on this site when I was thinking of buying the 6630 and ignored all of the bad reviews about it crashing. However, after buying it I found that this fault wasn't just a series of one-off problems as I have found the same problems. All the websites focus on the good features which I admit that it has. I was pleased with the camera, the mp3 player and the removable memory. The phones performance, however just ruins these features as I probably have to take the battery out 6 times a day as it crashes so often. The battery runs out so often that no one calls me on my mobile because I can never answer. I don't know why Nokia haven't realised how bad this phone is because there have been enough complaints about it. I sure won't ever buy a Nokia again after this!

I have had this set for the last 7 months or so. I must say that i am fully satisfied with its performance. The camera is Fabulous. Battery life is good, like for my usage of an hour of talk time per day and daily average of 20 to 30 messages, it still last for 2 days. I like the shape becaz its different from others. Highly recommended!!!

my boyfriend has had this phone for over a year on t.mobile contract, so i used it quite a bit and got one myself on pay as you go. the only problem i have with it is the memory card. about 6 months ago my partners phone started saying insert memory card, he took it in got it fixed and seems to be ok now, the problem now is mine, if i take a pic and try to save it on mem card it wont do anything, i go into image manager and my memory card folder is grey instead of blue, and it says no memory card inserted, i have to remove the card, put it back in and switch the phone on and off.this happens up to 12 times a day, im losing my pics etc. now it says system failure when i try to send anything bluetooth. i am on t.mobile and dont want to get rid of the phone, i was wondering could it be fixed of is it an ongoing problem? other than this prob the phone is all i need.

I only got this as I wanted a free upgrade with mp3 and megapixel camera (Orange said only new customers can have the Samsung D600 ;/) and I have added 1GB memory for music & videos. Sorry no good points to mention. Problems I have had: 1. It jams sometimes - need to switch off & on; 2. Music player is poorly integrated - you cannot jump to next track by pressing the button on the headset cable like the 6230 does; 3. No volume control on the outside - only a stupid voice dial button which can be done from the headset anyway; 4. WindowsXP crashes if trying to transfer too many files to phone at once; 5. Missed calls even if it does not ring; 6. MP4 videos in full screen do not play smoothly hence not useable. Tried recording in smaller resolution (QCIF?) but still not perfect and jams after 4 minutes of play. I wish I had just left Orange and gone elsewhere...... Ouch!

One of the best phones I've ever seen. This is my third S60 phone (3650, 6600, 6630). CPU is fast and reliable. RS MMC DV memory card is good idea (saves lot's of power), was pretty hard to find in the beginning though. All of you that are complaining about crashes, freezing and other problems: go to Nokia service and have the phone flushed to ORIGINAL NOKIA FIRMWARE instead of O2, TIM and other customized versions - these stink!

The first time i saw a "box" of 6630 at a nokia gallery, i said to myself "Boy! I would never want a phone like that!" but after consulting some "experts", took the initiative of buyin this phone(ofcourse, i was getting a good deal!) Trust me... this phone doesn't look all that bad as it does on the "Box" or magazines. PROS: Soft keypad, 1.3 Megapixel Camera with 6x smooth zoom, Good video recording, side power button which makes it easier to handle, hot-swap flash card support, 10 MB interneal memory, EGPRS supprort, 3G support, Superb sound quality (stereo sound), Clock supports world clock! & lots more. The best part is that it is incorporated with SYMBIAN Operating System which means you can make the phone do much more by means of softwares! CONS: Lacks flash & protection for camera, i don't remember having any serious problems with this phone except for some common series60 bugs like hangin' at times (but that too happens if we do not EXIT applications). TRICKThe best thing to do when you experience a wierd or unusual behaviour from your series60 cell: 1. Back up your phone on your MMC 2. Key in *#7370# and reset your phone to factory settings(This is NOT the same as selecting 'reset to original settings' from phone settings menu). 3. Restore backup. ********* THINGS I DO (with my 6630) ******** Handle my mails which includes sending, receiving, storing using an email client(Profimail), Browse the net (Opera, ThunderHawk), Handle calls (Phonepilot: personalise calls including voice message recording), Listen to online radio(Virtual radio) and much much more! I do not regret having it at all!... i just love it!

I think that this phone is very very good. It may look a bit bigish but it is absolutly packed full of features and has basically everything. The only thing that lets it down is that you cant video call but hey who needs video calling!!

this phone ive had for a year its so urealiable ive had a bout 4 handsets of this phone whatever you do dont get this phone if u do get this i advise u not because its battery runs down quik it needs a lot of memo cards or it will be very slow and it is extremly folty its the design fault well fnx or readin.

The best most complete phone bar none!!! I have had this for a year now trouble free, it's easy to use has great camera/ picture quality, interchangeable covers for ultimate protection and fantastic, ipod equalling sound quality when connected to decent system. Some so it's chunky but it feels solid in your hand and can withstand the odd knock, being symbian shedloads of apps and games can be downloaded and used. I have just replaced this with sonys new w810i and am a bit concerned, you feel you should take care when just picking up this one. Only niggle radio would have completed it.

Great imaging qualities, well improved video capability (as compared with the 6600)and classic shape/design. Although nokia's deliberate attempt to separate a VGA cam for video calls sure did all the loyal nokia fans a great deal of injustice! Coming up with a great 3G phone yet finding the need to exclude the essence of 3G?? To all nokia manufacturers: TRUST IN YOUR BRAND AND TRUST THAT YOUR CONSUMER-FOLLOWERS ARE SUPPORTIVE OF THIS BRAND! Come to think of it, if I were to buy additional accesories for video-calling (and flash), I would've merely chosen the 6680 right? Common sense goes a long way. Nokia supporters aren't stupid.

I've had this phone for a few weeks now and thought I should write a bit about it. When I bought it the first thing that struck me was that it wasn't as big as it looked in magazines, although it's still large for a mobile phone the extra space is well used as the camera is excellent and the screen large. It was slightly difficult working out how to get the free 64MB memory card in but it does work and means that the total memory is brilliant. Now for the flaws, the USB cable requires a degree of force to attach the phone to my computer which is slightly worrying since I've broken USB connectors in the past and the button used for taking pictures and navigating 3G services does not have an on-screen symbol so that at first I was unsure how to take a picture without going to Options>Capture and it is also tricky to press it as it is the centre of a directional button and so you have to look at it to see what you are doing. The most noticeable flaw however is that the phone began to crash requiring me to turn it off and on again several times at first. I found out that this is because when you press hang up to exit an application it tries to keep it running in the background, and so you can easily have a build up of applications going on without realising it. Its power to multitask is frankly pitiful since it just locks up and is best avoided by holding the menu button down (the equivalent of Ctrl-Alt-Delete on a computer) and closing all applications apart from the one in use, I found this solution to be completely acceptable since there is little need for a phone to multitask. Overall an excellent phone with some flaws that are made up for by an excellent camera with decent video. Highly recommended.

Hte idea of the 6630 is great, but it just doesn't work. I have had software issues from the beginning, ranging from failing to switch on, to not recognising the SIM, and going into offline mode. When it has worked, I have found it to be extremely slow compared to an excellent predecessor 6310i. The reaction time in the menu is abismal and the time to dial other phones too long. Worst of all, going from 6310i which lasts more than a week on a single charge, this one does not last two days. For the frequent caller business user this is THE LAST phone you should get. Wait for the next series to come out which gives back its primarly quality a mobile needs: long battery life, fast and easy menu, and worry free software.

This phone was perfect for a while. Nice and easy to use and i like the way you can choose your own 'shortcut' keys. Phone got best nokia processor. Becoz phone's operating speed is great. It also has good internet bowsing speed. Bcoz of symbian OS it has wide software support. Its phone book and msging functions are great. overall nokia 6630 is great in its range (INR R's 13000/-). Love the video camera! One last thing, i'm not convinced the battery lasts as long as Nokia suggests.

The Nokia 6630 is a great phone with 3G, 1.3 Megapixel Camera and bluetooth. I have had a few problems with the memory card that comes with it but i have now got it sorted. Overall i gave this phone a rating of 4 stars because it has some amazing features, is stylish and is 3G.

AHHHH had dis phone nearly a year now and absolutely NO problems!!!! its soo wicked u can actually install a gameboy on it!!! whoever said that this phone is faulty just dont listen to them because they dont know how 2 treat a phone and knows nothing about them! all i can say is find the best deal and get this phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys having problem with this phone? (low memory, turn itself on and off) try too hold the menu key for about 2 sec to see all applications running then select the application you wish to close then click "c" and yes to end the application. one feature of this phone is that when the signal is lossed or poor the phone restarts itself to recover the signal. this unlikely happen to places with good or high signal for your network. got it?

i have had this phone a while now and found it a nice phone in respect of the things it can do and how much you can personalise it.however i do feel it is too bulky,the videos played on the phone either recorded myself or from another sorce are not of good quailty,.

Not a very good phone at all. In fact totally unreliable. If you want to make and receive calls only then thats fine. But as for texting and using the phone for application based purposes then this phone will make you scream. Ever since I've had mine its turned itself off at least three times every two days. THe menu is extremely slow as well. All round appalling!!!! :P

I got a Finland made TIM version of this phone for half its original cost. I used to be a casual fone user but I heavily tested this one. Tried all its communicaton features, all is ok, test all its internet aps, even used it as modem, all is ok, Camera - fast and nice quality, video - 1 hour and smooth. Tried running multiple apps - went ok, still fast, but sometimes, have to close when memory is full-its ok, everything has a limit. Tried games, whoa! this fone is fast on games, lol. Some games won't work on the fone though and may reboot it - check compatibility before installing a game. Looks - not the hottest but certainly the cutest 3 Neways, I'm really quite surprised that a number of reviews cited reliability issues with the fone. I found none. There were few software issues I encountered but it was my fault :) Important function: press menu key, don't let go until a window pops up, you'll see some opened programs, close everything except 'phone'. This probably causing some 'slowdowns' or 'freezes' in the phone, open programs steal memory so close them when not needed. Nokia should have made a quick manual and included this very imprtnt function, if rating was 10 I give 9 but 5 neways :)

The nokia 6630 is one of the worst mobiles I've ever had and I've had a mobile for the past ten years!!! It keep switching itself off or says the memory is too full and to close some applications before allowing me open anything else (when I try to txt msgs or take a picture for example) even though nothing else is open, so I have to turn off and on the phone before it works which is a complete waste of time and not impressive for a phone that was quite expensive (almost a year ago, not sure of the price now!) ............. So from someone with experience of having this phone for almost a year, it's a piece of junk!!!!

This phone is much faster than earlier phones with symbian os because of its 220 MHz processor ( nokia 7610 which was 123 MHz and 6600 which was 104 MHz ) and more RAM. The camera is also great which is 1.3 MP it takes pictures at a resolution of 1280*960 in good light condition but as there is no internal flash support pictures taken in dim light conditions are not good but nokia 6630 supports flash as an accessory. MP3s are supported and are played stereo via the headset. this is overall a great phone, 3G is also supported and works great but if u wanna make 3G calls then dont buy this phone beacuse there is just one camera which is at the back of the phone but again Call stand accessory is available with which you can make 3G calls and u can see the other person and then other person can see you at the same time, I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS PHONE TO ALL WHO WANNA USE A SMARTPHONE OF USE 3G, BUT IT IS NOT RECOMNDED ONLY FOR THOSE WHO WANNA MAKE 3G CALLS.

This phone is an expensive brick. Its menu system is VERY slow, frustrating and un-userfriendly. The phone itself is too large and the camera is rendered worthless by the astonding lack of any flash or light. All film and picture taken is way to dark and fuzzy to be at all usable. The positive reviews here must have been written by nokia employee's because after 3 or 4 months with this phone I have yet to find any redeeming features. The software suite that comes with the phone has yet to recognise my phones existence when plugged in (even tho my computer see's it just fine.) Overall since I 'upgraded' (what a joke of a word) for free from sony to the 6630, I have felt nothing but bitter dissapointment. Avoid this phone like you would syphilis.

excellent phone..got it for a bargain �120..:) works excellently....the only downfall is the chunky design... and the design isnt that nice... however as soon as i recieved i loaded it with games and appz....i even bought a large memory card and am watching movies...excellent..i can do everything i want to be able to do with a phone... i recomend that you buy it if your looking to spend around �100 on a payas you go phone.

Nokia 6630. Such a deceptive phone. On my first glance at this phone, as a website picture, I thought how awkward and clumsy it looked. This proved the opposite upon handling it in the phone shop. The phone sits perfectly in the hand. The slightly, and it is only slightly, rounded end of the phone fits well into the palm of the hand. After a few minutes, it had a good user-friendly feel to it. It supples a stable base for depressing the keys, for messages etc. The screen is a delight. It has good colour resolution. As well as the necessary icons there is plenty of room for a screen saver. I found, so far, the call quality to be very good. I have called local UK calls, and a call to Switzerland. No problems. The interface is very brisk. It took me a time (and I am still learning) to become familiar with the various screens and sub screen, but it is fun. The 6630 comes with a good connection cable and enables a connection from the CD wizard. It's handy for downloading fun things, like screen savers of pictures already saved onto the computer. As yet I have not investigated the business downloads. The camera is good. Again it takes a wee time to familiarise with the best way to angle a picture. But then, it is easily installed into the picture gallery. There is video capability, but as yet I have not used this. I found the images I did take, make quite good screen savers. The phone build is good, it is solid and does not creak, when the keys are pressed. The keyboard is ok, nicely spaced but maybe the key pads can seem a little too smooth. But nothing I found created a problem. The screen is huge and it is advised to buy a pouch to keep the phone in, to avoid scratching the screen. Again, as yet I have not found any way to alter the font size for typing messages. This does not say that it does not exist, just that as yet, I have seen no evidence of being able to do this. Also I think there are only two shortcut facilities available, but again I may be wrong on this. So far I am very pleased with this phone. Using it, never seems congested. It is not that heavy and although not a tiny phone, it really doesnt seem to be too big. The phone needs to be picked up and handled, to convey the true nature of it's qualities, rather than pre-judgement from catlogue or website photos.

Very easy to use after the learning curve, reliable, and fun! Many people have problems; I found the solution was not closing your active programs. You have to remember this is a smart phone, and lets you run active programs. In doing so, it wastes "ram" inside your phone. It’s best to keep closing programs when you don't need them. Screen bright and clear. It being Symbian opens a new world for Nokia phones. It enables applications, themes and many more things to be downloaded. Having new themes and good applications expands the lifespan, and usability of the phone. It’s pleasing to have a nice theme, compared to the average Series 40 menu. Only bad thing I can think of is the lack of gallery/folder viewing. It isn't as assessable as a Series 40 phone. You’re not really able to create a huge array of folders to store images, say family to friends. Series 40 are able to create many folders to navigate to and fro, loading pictures etc.... Also, when viewing pictures of the camera, it looks really stupid. But when using the keypad after a while, it isn’t bad at all! It’s like a normal Nokia keypad, just slightly different. So don't be scared if you do find it weird at first, jus takes time to get used to. Pros: Good Camera. Good Keypad. Symbian capabilities. Cons: Battery life. Folder navigation. Video quality isn't the best (N70 & Samsung E720 best at the mo).

This is an amazing phone, it's got an excellent camera, great features such as video recording, playback, realplayer, high definition screen, ergonomic design and basically it's all round great, it even has applications and software you can download. The memory cards are great for storing loads of videos, pics or tracks and i've also got a movie-memory-card which is awesome, much better quality playing than i expected. Although, the 6630 does have a slight tendency to freeze, by that i mean roughly bout once every month or so and occasionally it has a memory error where it believes there isn't sufficient memory to take a picture and in a result you have to turn off and back on your phone. But at the end of the day, the 6630 has far more +'s than -'s and it was a good buy, i would recommend this phone to anyone who's looking for a fun yet sophisticated phone.

It is a great phone! 1)Quality pictures produced from the 1.3 megpix cam. 2)Good for streaming videos or simply playing MP3 files. 3)Nice & clear LCD display. 6)This phone is not just for business, im still in my teenage years and my friends r trully astounded by the style of the phone nd the things it can do! I don't know why a lot of u r complaining about the 3G problem but if u've got the latest firmware (v3.45.etc, i bought mine in july 2005) u could go to the network option and change it to GSM (u'll understand this if u probably have the phone in front of u, which doesnt really help cuz u prolly havent even got the item ) and the phone won't restart or turn off itself anymore!

nokia 6630 is really outstandig phone. i used 6600,7610,6670 but 6630 is very different it is fast,easy keypad,cover can be changed, connectivity is good,camera result is outstanding( video and audio)ringing sound is well and different and unique look. friends who are complaining about it might be they had problems on only their sets but not all 6630 are faulty. i purchased used set but i m very satisfied and happy that i took right decission to purchase it.we should not blame on companies because noone wants to sell faulty products in market but noone is perfect.if you buy or read different companies mobile review you will find complain lot of there. nokia good thing is that when you sell it u dont loose more money then other mobiles.anyway nokia is good and 6630 is best.

I was so relieved to read the poor reviews this phone has received. I have always had Nokias for their reliability and ease of use. The 6630 has been a disaster. I use it as a work phone so when it decides to turn itself off, freeze, delete messages, wipe the memory card, fail to send messages then send four at once, turn it's ring tone off all by itself, make up a new ring tone all by itself, disconnect from bluetooth whenever it wants, fail to connect to bluetooth whenever it wants and generally do everything possible not to fuction as it was designed to do it is extremely frustrating. Shame on O2 as well for treating every enquiry with utter contempt. Shame on Nokia for categorically denying they have had complaints about this phone. Upgrading to the 9500.

6630, what a phone, updated from the 7600 another nokia on the 3g, first thing i noticed that was a change was the reception, instead of being 1 or 2 bars on the 7600, i have always recieved a full signal on the 6630, features are amazing camera and video quality outstanding. had no problems as of yet( fingers crossed ) generally a nice phone to use and look at if your after the 3g capabilites then go for this

Worst Nokia i've ever owned, first one lasted a month, then kept switching itself off, O2 replaced it, not about 6 weeks later this one switches itself off, and best off all, when it is on, does not pick up any reception, pointless, waste of time and money, don't go near it...!!!

THIS PHONE IS THE WORST NOKIA THEY HAVE ever MADE. We have 5 of these phones, Every day a problem. Big Screem . Hardly read the text , so small. The orange web site has to be the worst ever. So the internet is worthless. Why to do have you have to press 5 buttons to send a message ? This phone is like going back in time. GIVE IT A WIDE BIRTH. Always had a Nokia but some one has lost the plot with this phone.

I've had my 6630 on O2 since the beginning of March. It's a great phone, not a bad camera (although it's not worth using the zoom function) and a decent PDA. I only have a couple of complaints: 1) No camera on the front for video calling - although to be honest I can't get 3G where I live so I probably wouldn't use it too much 2) Although you can use MP3s as ringtones, the speaker quality is awful 3) it didn't come with a bluetooth headset, which seems a bit of a cheek when you're paying that much for a phone Should've waited for a couple of months for newer phones to come out but I was seriously bored of my 7250i - and the 6630 is an all round great phone. It's only crashed once since I've had it, I've still got loads of memory, and I've taken some really good photos!

Now on my 2nd handset and yet the phone still switches itself off 2 to 3 times a day even when fully charged and with the key lock on. I would have never got the 6630 if I had known this. Vodafone seem to be surprised when I tell them this and seem to comment on a may have not charged it!! I am not stupid thank you. They must be aware to this problem as I have since seen many reviews stating the same thing!!! Be aware!!!!!!!!!!!

PATHETIC! how does a phone that has been RECALLED from the south african market sustain itself in bigger markets? here's a question to Nokia... whats better-been the first or been the BEST?? once known for reliablilty as a brand has lost not only the race but continues to loose face. needless to say i had my heart set on going back to Nokia using the 6630 as my instrument. sure you have the 6680 (improved?) version but dam what an unattractive looking phone! Get it right next time!

Ive had my 6630 for a mounth now and i have to say that this is the best phone i have ever seen. The only problem i had with it was the memory and ive just got a 256mmc for it so this really is the greatist phone ever. long live nokia
