I think that the camra is rubish and I would rather stick a glasses case up my but than carrying on useing that phone. The screen is so small that you cant play any games on it and its hard to read your text messages and You cant hear anyone very well when you phone them. My advice:DONT BYE THIS PHONE!

Well I am disappointed in your review of this gorgeous little phone. Ive had mine since it first came out Ive changed my phone several times but guess what while all these other 5*** phones with their 5*** fancy gadgets this one is a lovely little old faithful. Still keeps its battery life for up to a week never fails to work and to be honest the ;ics I take are better than my husbands fancy blackberry or daughters iphone 4!!! Make of that what you will. Mine keeps going where others fail even at the start - Well done Nokia for a gorgeous but simple faithful phone

the phone was awfull never before have i owned such a peice of rubbish it keeps turning its self off and the phones slider is clunky the flash is very low for the camera if you buy this phone you will find out about what im talking about :(

i have a nokia 6111 and i can't seem to get the pictures from my phone on to my computer it din't come with a usb cable, and i already tried bluetooth nothing seems to work!!

I have had this phone for a few years and it hasn't broken however the battery life is too short, you can't ever get any signal and it is too slow at opening files!

I have had my phone for 3 years and never had a problem ... Easy to use, small and compacted, I really love it.... In fact, mine was stolen off my desk in work the other day and I am searching internet to replace with the same phone !

this phone is'nt bad; if youve paid about 20 quid, if you paid 65 quid like me, then it's rubish, doesnt do anything, no memory, and battery life is non existant. but it has a good camera and no matter how many i've chucked it across the room, (when i got annoyed on when it keeps saying 'no memory' when i attempt to take a photo)it hasnt broken. but appart from that, rubbish Avoid.

This phone is the perfect little phone i ever had! i have had it for 3 YEARS! dont listen to all the others! i have never had one probelm after 3 years! its a handy little thing and trust me i have dropped so many times and it bearly even scratched after 3 YEARS! if you are thinking of buying this DO!

Had a trouble, and searching on the internet I've found some reviews; There's one particularly specific for I've had the same problem, and agree with the reviewer in total. I'm really surprised to read all those horrible comments! I've had this phone for almost three years now and never had any problems. Well, I had to replace the charger but that's not part of the phone, is it? The camera is great-pictures are really good and it's just so cute! And there is a butterfly screensaver-love it! I just wish they were doing them in purple ;)

I love this phone! Had it well over 2 years now and only now am i getting a new phone! I've had no problems with it this whole time, loved the screen, the slide is great, keypad is good, no problem with the sound :) admittedly the memory isn't amazing, so if you want a phone that can store lots of songs and pictures, you need something else. camera can be a bit temperamental with quality, but for the most part i've got some great pictures from when i've not had my camera :) love this phone, feel almost sad to be getting rid of it!

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE: I had it for a while but then like people have said, the slide started sticking and eventually broke. When it broke my screen went completely blank; and i can't use it now, so i'm having to buy a new one. Also we tried to repair it (by buying a new slide mechanism), this was successful, but then broke again within the next week. If you are thinking of buying this phone google the following: ' white screen problem with the nokia 6111' Please don't buy, unless you only want it to last or a year or less (i was lucky with how long mine lasted). Apart from this MAJOR PROBLEM it was an okayish phone, with rubbish camera quality, and the memory was bad.

Nice little phone. It is important to clear your messages regularly otherwise the memory fills up. This cause my phone to freeze up and restart all the time. Deleted 600 Messages!!! and it worked perfectly again. :)

it is a good camera/video phone and i use it as just that, it has a small memory so i bluetooth everything on it to my original phone (i have to and i usre the nokia 6111 as a backup) well thats bout it but i would recomend it for first time phone users !

Well this mobile phone is quite old now. I've had it for 3 years, and it's pretty decent. Camera is quite good, and it does not freeze, it goes on standby to save power. Also it has a flash, this handy mirror thing, and a handy camera key. Sound is low quality but quite loud. The screen is fine, what's wrong with it? It looks great, very cute, even though it is made mostly of plastic. I like that the ON button is not the hang up key, 'cos that really annoys me. Easy to use, and has got many great features! The slide is perfectly smooth. The reliability isn't bad, but it's not good either, with the occasional restarting/crashing. Yes, the memory is very annoying, and it dosen't even have a memory card slot. The battery life is a bit below average. The people whose phones only lasted for a couple of days aren't taking very good care of them! It is Nokia's first slide phone remember. I only got mine for £80 from Tesco.

This was my first phone. I agree, it doesn't look brilliant, but hey, it is on the inside. My justification was that is a modest, not too cool but not to be scorned mobile. I had it for years, and it is still going, though I upgraded my phone to an LG chocolate. I never put any songs on it, but the camera's quite good and I found the memory capacity was better than most of my friends' phones. I would but this phone as my 1st phone again if I hadn't already. It's worth the price. Sometimes it would refuse to switch off, but that as ok, you can take the battery out. It's a bit confusing at first, because the on/off button is on the top and the sim card slot is quite hard to find. It's very robust as my one fell in several sreams and sandy holes! I'd buy this if you arn't too bothered about good looking phones, and want a good phone that will serve you long and loyally! I loved my phone, but my Mum bought me the LG chocolate for xmas, and I couldn't refuse! Unlike other slide phones, it has no problem with the flax thing, and you can slide it about willy nilly! Maybe if your an adventurious person who goes up mountains annd stuff, you should buy this. It's also great for average kids and adults too! I'd definately get this phone, as its robust, goodish looking, exellent on the inside and very serviceable!

I am using this phone from the past 3 yrs and till date I never have any problems mentioned above. I agree that the memory on board is small and the camera is not very good but who cares? I use my phone just to make n take calls and it fits the bill for me.

I was given this 'phone second hand from my son as he had bought another one. I like everything about it as it is very easy to use, I did not need the instructions to use it. BUT I cannot use it as a 'phone as I cannot hear anything at all, the sound quality is terrible, I can only use it on loudspeaker. I told my son about this and he said he knew about it being poor sound quality but thought it would be okay for me. I don't know why he thought that, my hearing is not all it should be at the best of times. So he was in my bad books for a couple of days. Anyway, I know use my old 'phone for calls and the Nokia 6111 camera 'phone for videos and pictures, so it suits me fine. But I would definitely not buy it because what is the use of a 'phone when you can't hear people talking. RUBBISH.

i got 1 of these nokias 6111, it wer good i thought, i had it for over a year without any problems occuring with the phone however i sadly lost mine on a bus. i paid £50 for mine brand new on o2.

I have had this Nokia for almost a year and a half now and it has been fine. It has never broken its pretty reliable and is small enough to fit in my pocket. The only problem I have with this phone is the amount of memory but I don't mind that much. I love this phone.

I have to say that this phone is great! i have had it 2 years now and there is still no sign of it breaking. It has never frozen. Battery life is not goood though :( Oh camera is rubbish SO is memory! 4 songs i think max! but is its a phone ! You can text and ring with no problem so dont waste your money on expensive nonsense buy this quality phone! :D:D

I saw this phone and was like wow! yes, it looks pretty cute and sleek, but after only a couple of weeks of use i found out that it was absolutely rubbish. it turns off all the time, and is completely unreliable. you can't even go 2 days without charging the phone. the memory is simply awful - you can only hold around 4 songs at maximum. the slide always gets stuck, and despite the fact that i have had it "repaired" several times, it is still just as bad as when i sent it in. DO NOT GET THIS PHONE.

well i had this phone for 2 years. it was really reliable and evry time i dropped it, it never broke that was about 50 times! The only bad thing is it doesnt have that good memory and no memory card slot but sadly after a while the phone broke i got it out my bag and the screen was just white the screen had broken. but as i say that was 2 years after. so i do recomend it but if you want millions of songs than maybey get another one. i loved what it looked like too it was really slidey and the colour was nice and it was easy to carry in your pocket because its so small and little. thanks for listening.

had this phone for 1 year now! When sliding it make a horrible noise! it keeps beeping so I can't watch videos and the volum button keeps coming up when I don't even press it. Thought it was good but it's a stupid waste of money and a piece of plastic! I am now getting an lg cookie for xmas! It'll be well good to get a good quality phone! Can't wait to get rid of the nokia 6111!!!!!

cart beleive these reviews on this phone.....i've had mine now for over 2 years and it's still a good phone....ok now its starting to play up abit now with the volume when someone is talking to u u just cart hear them no more when ur out in a shop etc, but the battery is ok still last about 2 days with alot of use. This phone has had a lot of use...also its a really strong phone the amount of times i've dropped it etc and it hasn't broken i'm amazed. Just wish i could find a phone now like it maybe a bit thinner but they just don't look any good anymore

When i first bought this phone, probably over two years ago now, i though it was great. The camera was fine, the battery lasted for ever, and everything worked great. However, after about 4 weeks, i turned it on and the screen just stayed white, the phone would ring but you couldt see a thing. Had to get that fixed. It then did exactly the same thing about a year later. It also has developed a habit of freezing at the most inconvenient times! Another problem is the quality of sound when ringing somebody, even when it's quiet, it is very difficult to hear what the other person is saying. I payed over £100 for it when i bought it, and i regret buying it now. There is no way i'm paying that much for a phone now, if i were you, i wouldnt buy this phone, as it is a complete waste of money.

THIS PHONE IS TERRIBLE!!! for the first few days it was fine it worked fine, but then it started the 'death screen' (i am told that is what it is called) what happened was whenever i switched it on the screen went white. So i took it to the place where i got it from and they 'fixed it' no less than 3 times! Ever since the last time i took it in to the shop it has been swiching itself off, which is very worrying when making a call!! do not buy this phone even if it does not sitch off and turn white like mine did. It is still a rubbish phone, Its camera is grainy, it has hardly any memory, and i can never get through to the internet! JUST DONT BUY IT!!!

I liked this phone at first, it was pretty from the outside but not good on the inside. The amount of memory was not good and I could only store one song and five videos. Not worth the money if you ask me. I am upgrading to the Orange LG KS360 (Pink) for my B'day and I can't wait!

The Nokia 6111 is a great phone. It is small and compact, the audio is grear as is the camera quality! I love this phone and highly recomened it! I have had no trouble with the phone and if you lock your phone when you are not using it the memory will last 2-3 weeks! I have had this phone for 3 years and have had no trouble, the only thing I can complain about is that the memory os very small otherwise I love this phone!!

This is a cool phone by looks but slugish when using. Hangs a lot and the audio quality is not good. Sometimes the receiver is not able to hear the voice and speaker in this phone got crashed twice when i used this phone. Better not to invest with this phone.

i have had my nokia 6111 for three years now and have never had a problem. The only nag is the memory, but i can hold loads of text and photos. also i have trouble getting the charger to work :S...but i love it, i have only scratched it once, due to it being trapped in a bike spoke with my keys:S i think its a great phone!

This phone is not as bad as people say. It is a bit plasticy and the camera isn't high in quality but it would make a good phone for a younger person. I found i could have quite alot of songs on it and quite alot of photos. However, the battery life is really short and needs regular charging. I have had this phone for 2 years and have had no problems with it but now I am upgrading to a more stylish phone as it is not very good-looking. It fits in the hand really nice. Buy as a first phone.

I got this phone as my first ever phone and for a while I was actually quite happy with, until all the problems started!!! It is auch a pain in the ass that there is no internet on it!!! The camra is terrible!!! It is very slow at times!!! And then the screen of it smashed on me so that was the end of that phone!!!lol It is absouloutly not worth the £95 I paid for it!!!

Actually, this phone as a good first phone for a young kid. It works well enough to ring and text and take some snaps. But if you want style, I would say big no. Go for the Sony Ericsson C902(I have it atm) even though it isnt a slide it is EXTREAMLY good.

I got this phone for xmas 2006 - and 2day only just got a new phone. It is a gr8 phone battery lasts 4 a week camera gr8 and sound can b really loud the only downside... The memory. I was led to belive it was possible 2 use an sd card but i was told wrong. Other than that GREAT phone!

Hi, i just want to say that this phone really doesn't deserve all the bad ratings its been getting. ive still got this phone (in pink) and ive had it now for 2 years and its still working. The keys are not 'un-responsive' and I think I would know if they were. When i bought this phone it was £100. I wouldnt pay that much for this phone today, but at the time, slide phones were very new and it seemed worth it. Im very pleased with this phone, and I love the design!! Its very girly and cute, but the one thing that got on my nerves was the lack of memery and the bad quality. But all in all this phone has done me good! xx

Nice phone, slide mechanism didnt break on mine, crashed when multi- tasking such as listening to the radio and sending a text. Just went blank and turned off. Got bored of it after seeing new phones on the market. Some can be dodgy but good beginners phone. I am upgrading to a Sony Ericsson K850i. Yeah, the memory is pretty dismal, only 4 mp3s but I have an ipod for my songs so not many are ever kept on the phones I have. Keys a bit small and phone a bit thick and chunky, never been a nokia fan. Just anything that rocks my boat! Good phone overall

I was a bit concerned after reading all of these reviews but i have to say I have been really surprised. So far nothing has gone wrong with it. The camera is fine and overall it is really easy to use. My only dissapointment is the lack of memory, I can only download 3 songs before the memory is filled up.Anyway i guess that's what an ipods for, i would definately recommend this phone to anyone...

i had the phone for a year!! it was ok as i just used it to keep in touch with my mates but it only held about 5 songs and you cant put a memory card in it!! so i got rid of it and got the nokia 7373 and it is a really good phone...

i've had this phone for two years and i've never had any problem with it. the phone is very easy to use and the battery life is ok but not the best. the camera was better than i thought it would be however the sound wasnt that loud. i was very dissapointed about the memeory on it. it holds about 30 mybts and doesnt even take memory cards but i would say that was the biggest bad point about this phone. however it is like a brick. it is so this that i hate putting in my pocket because it just bulges out. it doesnt break easily as i have thrown it again a wall before (accidentaly) and it was completely fine.

I love this phone! I got the pink one and i think it was great value for money. Excellent for downloading games and the only real problem is that it sometimes randomly shuts down when using internet but I've had a great time with this phone!!

I got this phone for Christmas, and after reading these reviews it got me worried. But this phone worked absoloutely fine. It's easy to use, not too fancy or high-tech. The camera worked absoloutely fine for me. I am very happy with this phone to be honest.

If you have good working brain and you do you reseach FULLY on this phone than you have absolutly no reasopn to get this phone. The battery life is rubbish, it has so little memory, the buttons crack ad come off. And at the back of the phone where you put the sim card there is a SORT OF FLAP WHERE YOU PUT THE SIM CARD IN AND THAT COMES OFF AND WHEN IT DOES YOU CANT get it back on and your phone will not work. Worst phoneEVER do not waste you precious TIME and MONEY!

i thnk that this phone is great. it will definitely last you, i have had mine for 2 years and it is great, it is definitely one of the best phones i have had in a while because it has great qualities all jammed into one. I slowly began discovering things n the phone which i woldnt expect i to have. ITS FANTASTIC AND I HIGHLY RECOMEND IT!

I have always used nokias but this model is poor. The sound is terrible and the camera a huge let down. The memory is terrible as I could only hold three songs. The keypad is also sticky. However this phone is very durable. I have dropped it on many occasions and it has little effect.

I brought the nokia 6111 mobile when it was knew at £110. At first the phone was ok but now I have to say I dont really like it. It is hard to text ans the keys are so small and has hardly any memory. i think it was a waste of my £110 and I do not get on with it.

OMG!!!! i love this phone! DONT DIS ITS A GREAT PHONE!!!!! had it for 2 years no probs (had it nicked on holiday last week :(), personally i thought the memory was good, plenty of photos, videos, songs, nothing wrong with the slide, stayed perfect for 2 years, fantastic radio! and great looking phone too,(i had it in pink) very light and easy to carry around. my charger stopped working a couple of months ago though, but now have a new one, (ok so far). only thing is, the ring tones are a bit retarded. BUY IT

This phone is completely unreliable! I can use it one minute, put it in my bag then check it a minute later and find it has switched off. Sometimes the screen fades just before my eyes as I'm using it. It has been sent for repair 5 times but you don't get told what repair has been done and within days, the problem starts again. I'm having to get a new phone now as it's just too unreliable. It cost £99 18 months ago and I'm rally annoyed I've got to buy a new one because this one is clearly sub standard and has been from the word go. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING ONE!!!

I have had this phone for just over a year now and it has finally broken. After a few months the phone be can to freezing and turn off, also the keys became unresponsive. Also the memory is terable only been able to store a few images and only 2 songs. I have not been able to get another phone until this one broke so i am now very happy that it has broken.

I dont care what people say this phone is aws! I got a silver one-not a scratch on it. Slide-works like new (which it isnt! Ive had it for 3 years!) Everything else fine too! SO STOP BEING MEAN COZ MY PHONE IS FINE.

i got this phone as my first so it has done a very good job. the phone for some reason switches of randomly but i have found my sisters does to so it might be something to do with nokias phones im not shure. if your looking for a phone with lots of memory this wouldnt be the ideal phone for you, whereas if you were looking for a neat little starter phone it would be good as it is quite easy to use, i have had this phone for nearly 2 years and i think its really good!!

Terrible phone. The screen is too small - the keypad awful. The battery seems to need charging every other day. Wish I hadn't bought it!

I have had this phone for around a year now and it has been very disappointing so I have decided to get rid of it because I dont believe anyone would even buy it . First of all it began to freeze and was crashing constantly , disturbing calls . Then it wouldnt allow me to call when I had enough money . Now it wont even turn on or charge . Overall not the worst phone ever , but I wouldnt recommend it . I rate this phone 1/5 .

I've had my phone for yeras now, and it has never had ay problems at all. I got a hiptop slide for a while, and ended up getting rid of it and going back to this phione. I have no problems with camera or battery, it has alot of good features, including bluetooth and infared, the only problem is that it has no memory card slot.

I have had no end of problems with this phone, the slider broke within about a week of buying it, and after a few months it started to reject my sim card every hour or so even if I put a different sim card in it rejects that. The memory on the phone is awful and the video recording says you can record 1 hour videos but this is total. If you record a 15 min video the maximum recording time after that is 45 mins, but it doesn't seen to go up when you delete videos. I have an 8 min video on the phone but only 16 mins left of recording time. I advise not to buy this phone!!!

Don't buy this phone, i had it for a year and it broke, got a replacement and after 15 months it broke again. The phone has no memory can hold maximum of 2 songs. I agree with the other person, the slide kept sticking and was not smooth. Seriously don't buy this phone it is a waste of money.

this phone is the worst ever. da max songs u can have is like 5 onli with low memory! n i got it 4 £90 as well where as now i can get much better fones 4 that money. i urge u not to buy this fone people you will regret it!

i had a nokia 6111 2 years ago. in between i had sony ericsson phones, but i've ended up buying yet another nokia 6111 because i liked it so much. yes the memory is small but i think over all the phone is brilliant and i have never had any problems with it.

Well I haven't had any issues with the phone's slide action or it freezing and in the 1 and a half years i've had it don't think i've had any technical difficulties and i've dropped it a good few times. How ever. So not worth the money I spent. At the time I got it for just over £100, ridiculous waste of money. The camera's ok for still images but not for movement and the video's not great. The memory is the worst thing, i've got 2 songs on my phone and it's taken up half the memory. Definitely getting a new phone soon.

well ithink this phone should be worth more than 2 stars i rate it 4 stars.first of all i thought it wasnt good because it wasnt charging properly but then i found out that it was my charger that was the problem .and as it was nokias 1st atempt for a slide up phone i thought it was very good and me and all my m8tes av dis phone and were all very pleased with it i would recomend it 2 anyone

i'm so suck of this 6111.. i just want to throw it away when i knew that it has no memory card slot... i just received this from my auntie.. but i didn't like it... it SUCKS!!!! i need someone to have their cellphones swap on my 6111..

I had this phone for a christmas present. I got rid of it within 6 months as it kept turning itself on and off all the time really randomly!I will give you some good advice .. don't but the phone its a waste of money!

i have not got this phone i am actuually buying it today from this store my old nxt door neighboor had it for a very very long time but one of her grandkids droped it in coke she couldnt stand another phone she had to come and buy it again she emailed my facebook telling everyone to buy this phone. so i av took this opertunaty and i am coming to tesco irlam just to buy this phone. xx,xx. thankyou nokia and thankyou tesco you are a big part of my life xx
