I've had this phone for three years now and the most impressive feature is battery life. I spend very little time talking so if the phone is turned off at night the battery keeps the juice flowing for at least 10 days. Sadly, I managed to forget it in a trousers' pocket and it got "laundered". It died on me. RIP.

MY HUSBAND BOUGHT A NOKIA 1110 PHONE 4 YEARS AGO. HE LOVE`S THE PHONE SO MUCH THAT ALL THE NUMBERS OF WORNE AWAY AND IM HAVIN TROUBLE GETTING A NEW COVER FOR IT, SO IF ANY BODY CAN HELP THAT WOULD BE GREAT. The Nokia 1110 must be the best value on the market. If you just want a phone to send texts and make calls, you won't beat it. It also has an excellent battery life. I can't fault it! For it's price and features it is worth five stars.

It is a great phone and i had it for 25 years and i truly loved it i took it everywhere and although simple it is very easy to understand and it is perfect for calling and soft buttons for texting

had it for a year or so, great phone.long battery life, reliable, cheap, and when it comes to taking a few knocks, its joe freizer of the cell world. if u want a phone thats just a phone, then its a damn good one.

Good phone, provided by work for messaging and making/receiving calls, and it does very well.. Does anyone know how to get the inbound message to display who it is from instead of just showing the number it came from? cheers

Phone cost me £10 and is fine for phone calls and texts. It's as tough as old boots too - I've left it in touser pocket and washed it in the machine 3 times! (Only on warm cycle, though, but including pre-wash). An hour on top of the radiator and off we go again.

A nice first phone. Very handy.. addictive.. once you get used to the ease in navigation this phone provides, you are bound to have spoiled fingers. any other phone will feel uncomfortable, in fact i even found other Nokia products a little uncomfy when compared to the 1110.

The Nokia 111o mobile is excellent. If you want an un-complicated mobile this is it. It has excellent battery life and because it is cheap and has nt got many functions it is less likely to be stolen because thieves want high end phones

hi this is my first mobile phone ever so i did not konw what to expect i have been out and about looking in the phone shops and this one was the cheepist one on my list moveing on i like this phone it is very easy to use but it still took me time to got used to. ((((((((be worned)))))))

GOOD phone but it dosenot have fm radio nor can we download ringtones moreover it cannot store more than 10 messages.it is quite a sturdy phone.

I just bought this phone 2 months ago!
but with many of its cool features i dont like it!
it can store only 10 msgs!
no fm radio!
you can't download polyphonic ring tones!
the keypad lock feature does not work in my older versions!

The inverted black and white display looks terrible. The indicators for signal strength and battery charge are placed at the top horizontally instead of at the sides vertically, which is also not convenient to read.
The text message is now only three lines of display as against 4 lines in the earlier 1100 model, which is a step backwards. According to the User Manual, the instrument comes with either BL-5C battery or BL-5CA, and the
buyer should check the battery he is getting as the mAH rating of the batteries differs, being 900 mAH for BL5C and 700 mAH for BL-5CA. The contacts in the "name list" appear only 2 at a time instead of 3 in 1100
model. It is therefore necessary to see a working specimen of the instrument before buying, instead of seeing a dummy (non-working).
Sony-Ericsson website has a useful facility of "Try this phone" where one can get a very good feel of the instrument, as it is very interactive and simulates the actual use of the phone. As against this, the Nokia interactive at its website looks very primitive.
