i hate my motorola z3 cant wait to upgrade... i got it unlocked from tmobile, cant seem to download games, t-zones is still on there, need the tmobile stuff off....

I bought this phone about a year ago and really liked it. It is easy to use and looks great. About six months after owning it I started to have problems with it shutting the power off when you would close the slider. There is a lock button on the side that would work sometimes and then there were times it wouldn't let me do anything as if the phone was frozen. I would have to take the battery out so it could reset itself and then I could carry on. After about twelve months of owning it the little thumb grip on the slider fell off which made it quite a bit harder to open, at least with one hand. About two weeks after that the round navigation button cover fell off and left a bunch of glue all over the face of the phone. About two weeks after that the display where it shows how many bars are left for the battery disappeared and it wrote across the screen (invalid battery). About a week after this started happening I plugged it in to charge the phone and it came up say ing (unable to charge). I am not happy at all with this phone. I have owned many other brands and none of them had any problems. I didn't get the extended warranty because of my past experience with my other phone never having any problems but I wished I did this time. My sister and I got the phone at the same time and she went through the same thing but hers started to fall apart about a month before mine. I also have a friend that got this phone as well and his isn't very old and he was telling me the other day that his shuts off when you close the slider every once in a while. I told him that's just the start of it.

I have a mororola Z3.I loved it,and still do...Unfortunately it is a non reliable phone...It shuts off,gets stuck,can't use key pad for anything at times. It is a weird phone.I have no idea how many times I had to shut it on and off to make it work. The camera is great though.Wish the rest was the same... Do not buy this phone,it is a waste of money.

I loved this phone it very simple with all the features that i need,putting music on the memory is simple as 123.the volume when playing back songs is great.i had no problem connecting it to my pc to downlown songs onto it but you must store it on the memory card since the built in memory is not all that big.make sure and get a 2gig memory card to enjoy the phone better.

I've had the phone for almost a year. Memory is good when you get the memory card. Texting is awful and slow. I also have problems with the battery and the phone turning off simultaneously.. does anyone else have that problem? And currently my phone has had issues with charging and the screen won't turn on.

ive had the phone for around 2years or so now and its been a good phone. the only problems ive had with it is the battery life. i only got 2 - 3 days max out of it and i hardly used it. the camera is good with the flash and other stlyes. i did have trouble getting music on it at first but it never said it could only handle mp3 files. other than that, its been a good phone. its a good starting phon

Beautiful phone, I got it because of it's amazing design. It's great for media, lets me take good pictures and play music. Only problem with it is that the text constantly freezes up and wouldn't open for me, which can be very annoying. Also, after 2 years the front wheel button peeled off. Other than that it's great, I've dropped it many times and it still works fine and looks great. It definitely survived longer than my razrs (I went through two before I got this one).

i got the phone and bit was brilliant exept from the the memory but i lost it in my draw for 3 months and when i got it out it was still brill but then after 2 weeks it stopped reading the memory card then the sim and then the battery but i fixed the battery and sim card with sellotape but it is still a great phone even though i have had it for more than 1 year (even though i am going to get a new one now)

Do not buy this phone. I have had 2 because the screen was messed up on my first one while it was in my book bag and text books smashed it. I had to pay $70 for the new one WITH insurance, and both of mine had problems with the screen and keypad popping up. It appears that nothing holds them down. I've also had trouble with constant buzzing while talking on them.

the phone is good lookin and feels fine but the text is freezing up and ive had to replace the phone twice, not very good. i wish i could fix the text problem where the buttons freeze up now and then, makes it hard to text

I've had the z3 for awhile now. What first attracted me too it was it's look which still takes my fancy. As I've had it for so long the glue underneathe the main wheel in the centre has loosend and I have lost the centre button and managed to superglue the wheel back on. More memory would be good for essientiels like music, texts, pictures, vidoes. I love the slide aspect of the model and think that motorola should continue with their designs in slide phones.

i've had this phone for just over two years and only starting to experience some problems. Its done me very well and has a nice design and layout to it. I got a memory card for it which i recommend people do if they wish to have a lot of music. Do not drop this phone to much as it will mess it up :) i find it easy to use and a nice weight shape and thickness. It is a good phone...maybe not the most uptodate but it does its job! Its a phone not a tv or computer!! ;)

I don't like my phone at all. It constantly freezes, the plastic on the back peals of and is broken easily. My volume doesn't work, the phone is always deleating my music files and pictures. One touch of a button and the message is sent witch is good but can be anoying if you didn't want to or hadn't finished the text. I would say for others unlike me who aren't stick in this position, spend more money and get a better phone.

I was using a v3i before I got the z3 and I like it more than than v3i. yes, you do need a memory card but besides that there is NOTHING wrong with the phone. Only a fool would pass on this phone.

DOA after 24 hours. It was on the charger overnight and when I woke up this morning the display was white so I turned it off. Now the display does nothing at all. What a POS. It's going back immediately.

The phone is OK but dust collects between the screen and the cover which make the screen difficult to read. I can't find any advice on how to clear this dust.

Hate it. It is super hard to text on-the t9 never learns words, special characters are difficult to get to, and I always send texts on accident when I mean to delete it...ended up in some awkward moments. My biggest complaint is that the buttons have fallen off numerous times. I've had to super glue the circle ones until they wouldn't work anymore and had to abandon them altogether. The music playeris loud but the camera takes terrible pictures. I was definitely disappointed.

Is there any way to clean the dust out from under the screen? It's driving me nuts, but I don't want to just take it off and hope that it goes back on...I paid far too much money to do that! haha!

I don't actually own this phone but I borrow my brother's a lot, and all I have to say is it's an all right phone. He has a 2gb card in the slot but the txt messages won't store themselves on the memory card so he can hold only 300 messages. The voice clarity going both ways is horrible, the speakers poor and the microphone's poor. The vibrator, compared to my old nokia, makes alot of noise, but I don't feel anything. I would not recommend getting this phone.

phone is great at first but starts to lag a lot especially with texting usng t9 geez its soo slow it would be like a sentance behind and i would have to proof read everything after it caught up. buttons fall off and had to glue them back on and now the slider which was amazing at first now can't stay fully closed or open so yeah its more annoying to text with cause the top part gets in the way

The biggest pros include photo and video quality, 2GB micro SD capability and form. Some of the cons include the Motorola tools software and lack of ease of use. In fact, I transferred a movie to my phone, it shows up in Motorola Phone Tools but will not show up in my phone's video list. Yet, there it resides, taking up 1 GB of memory. Any ideas, or is it just my phone?

i just had this phone for a week.. love it very much.. actually im a samsunglover. but i'll try the motorola, and im glad with it :D the slider is solid. the screen quality is bright. but the battery is so weak.. i have to replace with the new one. but thts oke :) what i love is the sound.. it's loud, even no equalizer.. the speaker is great!!.. i can costumize the skin, fonts, and the screen,,,, loveabel.. wht i dislike : - the battery performance - uneasy to use the numeric keypad when it's charged - cant multitasking - the camera isnt good as samsung wht i like - the great sound n speaker - solid slider - costumizeable screen, funlights, skin, and fonts - expandable memory - easy to use overall 8/10 starts

this phone sux only costed me trouble and alot of money. Push buttons are hard to press, external memory isnt designed very well, it messed up my memory card. And now my internal memory is full (coz many pictures) and the phone won't start up at all.

Well when i first got this phone i was very happy with it, besides the fact it has very laggy software. After about 2 months my butons started to fall off. The Arrow buttons seem as if they were just glued on with super glue. My screen also stared blacking out and i would have to turn it back on. Dont waste your money on this phone!!

For those complaining about not enough memory, go get a 2 gig Micro SD card. I saw complaints that you can't access the phone by USB, or even charge it, without drivers and software installed. I assumed this was true, but I think these people didn't bother to read the manual or look thru the menus; The default is Data Connection, but you can change it to Memory Card, so that it behaves just like a flash drive, and it charges from the USB as well. I found all this out after I'd already installed drivers and P2k software. The Phone Tools software that came with the phone is ludicrously bloated and feature-ridden beyond belief. Don't even bother with it. P2kCommander is a tad primitive, but it does everything you need. I've been to some modding sites and am keen to try some of this. I really like the idea of customizing it; removing annoying features you don't like and replacing them with ones you do. Try that with your Nokia! Though I've only had it a few days, I like nearly everything about it. The only disappointing thing is the low quality of the video clips, but the still photos are nearly as good as from a real camera. I'm a bit worried about the buttons falling off that I've heard about, and the dust on the screen. I don't fancy taking it apart just to clean it. We'll see.

I got this phone over a year ago. All I wanted was a not too small phone that could store pictures and music, and still make phone calls and send texts. Internet is not a big part of my mobile life there for isnt a requirment. Ive had many other phones from many other brands. I dispise Nokia they are boring and their features are useless for me. LG I just dont trust to work, and sony is just too much like buying an mp3 player. I have an Ipod and dont feel like paying to have another attached to my phone. Although I will admit that Sonys do have a great cam. Ive lost 3 motorola razors in lakes and pools due to its thinness and I have also purchased the 2 models of RIZRs that came after this model, the Z6 and the Z8. I do not have the Z10 and probably will never try it. This phone Is perfect for someone who wants a good working phone but lacks a degree in rocket science. the Z6 is also a great phone but the Z8 just craped out when it comes to usabuility. I will try ot her phones but My Z3 will allways be my go to phone for quality and reliabuility.

This phone is great. Except for the center navagation button which keeps falling off I had the phone replaced twice. Now motorola calls it a known issue and will not replace the button without a fee. And they will not just sell this sticker style button. This sucks!!! I will be buying a Nokia in the future.

ok, this phone, is so gimpy i can't even take it. there's dust in the corner of the screen, which really isn't a problem indoors, but outside i can't see half of what i'm texting. randomly now, i'm not getting servicei n my house, which is gay. i think for texting, it really should remember words better, because it is quite the pain to go back and have to rewrite every single god damn word. randomly freezing now, i wish i never got it, i swear to god, motorola keeps screwing me over with bad phones, but i love the way it's set up, i should learn :(

Let me start off by saying that this phone is really nice looking, i get compliments on it all the time. The only bad things about this are the signal- t-mobile needs to expand coverage in certain areas. Also texting- because its a slider, the weight is distributed slighty unevenly making it a bit difficult to text quickly.The screen is hard to keep clean(smudges easily) The Good The phones camera takes a very good picture compared to other mobile phones. The flash beside the camera is also good addition. The bright display and available skins to change the look and feel of the phone are good as well. The phone plays music on the loud speaker at a fairly loud rate. Because of the phones rubber outside it majorly reduces smudges and finger prints and likeliness to drop it. Conclusion This phone is not for people who are used to treating there phone roughly it is delicate. If you need a hardcore SLVR L7 or N95 type phone this is not the phone for you. If you wish to have a phone that has decent storage, has good a camera, makes you look COOL at school or work or even at the mall... THIS IS THE PHONE FOR YOU.

The most useless phone i have ever had! The battery life is rubbish (some days only lasted about 6 hours if i had made alot of calls). Would randomly freeze/turn off is the slightest knock was made to it. I have a friend with the same phone who has the exact same problems as me! A couple of weeks ago it just randomly wouldnt turn on and a pink flash would appear everytime i tried... i tried charging it and that wouldnt work.. thankfully they are now discontinued and i am getting a replacement phone! Do not get this phone! Its unreliable!

i just got the rose color motorizr z3 this weekend and so far, i love it. It has great pictures with a 2.0 megapixel camera and the videos are good too. Also the music i good too. It slides very well and the phone overall is sooo cute and pretyy and ooh i just dont wanna mess it up. i wouldn't say the numbers for texting are all that great but it's ok because it still works well and i'm okay with that. The bets thing about this phone is the back part, its a prettyy pink flower design! oh an you get get it prepaid i think, for those of you who want it. I LOVEEE THE MOTORIZR Z3!(:

this phone sucks. a week after i bought it the speakerphone went out. so now i have to keep it on vibrate because it doesnt ring. and now the screen wobbles when ever i slide it up. i keep it in perfect conditions, it just sucks. you can see what i mean at youtube, and search iamtheparty299. do not buy this phone.

I rated this phone as 1 because 0 was unavailable. The worst phone ive had. Buttons stopped working, crashes, freezes and predictive text stopped working. As if writing a txt wasn't difficult enough when it did work. Had this phone replaced with a new one, which also broke. They don't sell these in Ireland anymore from what I can see. I can only presume they were recalled due to their unreliability.

This is the second one i've had,and after actually working for a few weeks,it too refuses to voice dial. Software,hardware, i don't know? But the motorola rizr z3 is definitly a LEMON!

I have had the z3 for nearly 16 months now, and it is a good phone. I love the look the feel and the ease of use, i only have a few quabbles with it and that is, it often resets itself and because i keep my phone in my jean pocket all the time, the slider has weakend, But it still works and it the longest lasting phone i have had as i normally kill them by way too much use.

I have had this phone for 3 months and have not experienced any problems with it (and any i did find, i hacked out lol (modmymoto.com)) I love this phone and it is the best and the most durable phone i have ever had. I would have never gotten a motorola, but i have had Nokia (blockia) and samsung (samsuck) and hated both. My first was a nokia 5200, i dropped it on to a carpeted floor and it broke! Then i got a samsung d600, and when i first got it brand new, it wouldnt even turn on. I took it back ang got a replacement, it turned on once, and never again, so back it goes and i think about getting a mtorola. I hear people telling me not to get one, but i get one anyway, and im SOO glad i did! The screen quality is the best ive ever seen! compare the screen with a blockia 5200, its awesome, and compare it with some of the higher end sonys! the screen is simply awesome! The camera is not great, but it is awesome for the price i paid for it (100 dollars brand new) I have dropped it from a second story of a house out of the window (was drunk) and it STILL survived! I love it! the mp3 capabilitys are fine for me, and having A2DP means i can use any stereo bluetooth headset i want! i use a sont erricson one for 40 dollars. Sounds AWESOME! i love this phone and will allways buy moto! I also have had a motorola l6, and i loved that phone too. A phone is a phone for gods sake. And to all these people saying no memory, just get a 2gb memory card, I picked one up for 17 dollars.

I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS PHONE. It looks cute and that's the end of it. I have nothing but problems with this phone...first the battery, then it stopped taking pix. After BIG master reset, it still didn't work. As a former reviewer stated it's very inconvenient to do text. I HATE it for that also. I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE A MAJOR RECALL and give out new phones.

Another moto to add to the collection z3. A bit disappointd in this one moto. Reception is very poor has a mind of its own. Try downloading music off the pc but having problems. Other functions are fine and easy to use. pic quality excellent. might let this one gather dust under the bed moto, bought it cheap 60 quid brand new available from most places. lets see what else is on the market,,, but getting a motoroa again.

good phone but made peices of the phone will start to break and come off for example the middle button has came off of my phone and i had to super glue back on the outer ring to go up/down and right/left has came off my phone too. the phone should have been made better and has a the same slow motorola software

Great phone which looks really stylish, loved the camera as well. However it is always crashing/ freezing on me! you get used to it after a while but it has the tendency of doing it when you are in a call. Apparently this is to do with the fact it doesn't have enough memory so i guess if you buy a 2gb card it should stop. Don't let this stop you from buying it though because it really is a good phone to have.

its a good phone iv had it when it since it first came out. its got a good battery life and its easy to use and understand. it could be slimmer and lighter. it is a good looking phone and the camera/video is good. i have a 1gb memrory card in mine but a bigger one would be good if you were considering but i think that 1gb is enough. it is easy to text with the buttons are easy and nice. if your looking for a phone which has a loud speaker this is not the phone because the speaker is not very loud. overlaa though it is a good phone. :P

Camera is ok, not the best out there but I didn't buy the phone for the camera! I have dropped the phone several times and let me tell you its a solid phone!!! If you want a good reliable phone, then this is the phone for you.

PLease do not buy this fone! loks great, the middle button has come off so you have to dig ur finger nail into it! the left hotkey has to be pressed many times and the camera is not a good standard! ive had it for under a year

Well.... its a great phone and as long as you've got a micro sd a great music player.My only bad comments are that motorola phone tool is rubbish and the space when you text is in the wrong place.But otherwise great phone!

I 've been using the phone from 5months. java applications(like Gmail, Google Maps, Opera m browser) runs so fast even at low data speeds. repeated alert for a missed call is so good.Text typing is so easier. 'itap' in the phone predicts the word, so no need of typing the whole word. a good spacious key board. Good connectivity with computer.. Can launch internet so easily after connecting with computer....its outstanding in looks.. but the sad thing is... it does n't have FM....

Bought the phone in May and have never really been satisfied with it. The software is far to slow, it does not have faces on it and now it has decided not to send text messages. Love the size of it and its looks but thats it!

I have had this phone for 12 months and in the last 2 the ringtones seem to have stopped. It lights up and vibrates when someone is calling but wont ring. Very annoying. Although, apart from that, up until that point has been a fantastic phone.

I love this phone. I've had it about 8 months, and I've never once had a problem with it. Plus, any questions you might have can more than likely be found under the help guide. It's the best phone I've ever had. I wouldn't trade it for anything else.

ive had z3 since july amazing design and great features except i cant really do much on bluetooth compared to my last phone which was some rubbish nokia and its bluetooth was still much better. moe applications are needed

I have this phone sinse July and I have to say is has a very clear screen and a great camera, 2mp beat any of those 1.3mp any day. it has a built in light which a lot of phones don't have, to take great night pictures, great mem expad, and over all a nice looking phone, I personaly like it alot. smoth operation and great software, easy USB conection, no need to special wires to hook up to a pc. I recomend it.

the worst mobile phone I ever had. I got it from my operater for 1 KM ( 1 KM = 0,50 euro ) and it is not worth 1 KM. it is complete rubbish. camera is rubbish, sliding mechanism is rubish, softwere is so complicated that it gets on your nerves and after all when you talk it makes some noise ..it realy gets on your nerves. DO NOT EVER BUY this mobile phone even for 1 KM

I've read some of review in this website, i own z3 for over a month, for me this phone suitable for those who need an ordinary phone application, basiccaly it simplify your daily phone using. It is so easy to functionate email (pop3), mms, sms, voice dial (no need to setup anything, just push a button and give your phone a command), contact input, so does for java application. Dont even think for a complicated application such as u can get it on symbian or others, u even can't change the way it look as easy as on nokia or sony ericson. Above all, i love the dimension (which not too fat just as nokia 5300, and not too slim just as samsung d900). Also i love the style when i answer the phone, just slide and talk :) then hang it up by push it..so stylish.

I really liked this phone when i got it back in March 07, it had just came out a week before. The phone worked really good until about 2 months later the middle button started trying to come off and finally one day disappeared. I called T-mobile who gladly sent me another one, this one has issue with freezing up on a white screen when i would try to save a picture or something to my phone and i would have to take the battery out to get it to work, then now here it is not even 6 months after i got the replacement and guess what the middle button is about to fall off again. Seems like motorola used very cheap supplies to make the buttons stick to the phone. I'm going to have to now call tmobile for another replacement but am to the point that i'm going to be trying to get a different phone.

I totally love this phone! I own a I-mate Jamin but the radio signal strength and software stability of RIZR are just too good to be given away for any other substitute.

The phone worked ok and was attractive, but in four months buttons failed to function (without exposure to water). Motorola refused to repair it. I would never buy this phone or another Motorola. This is only my 4th phone in 12 years. The other three lasted 11 plus years.

I have had this phone 6 months I probably make one 2 minute call a day send and receive about 5 texts The battery lasts about 48 hours which is anoying. the phone just dies for no reason then wont switch on until you dismantle it and remove the battery and the sim wait a while then start again this happens every day. Plus when I get a call I am then told by the phone that I have got several missed calls and texts start to come through from hours ago.I also cannot update the software due it not being compatible with Windows Vista. Dont buy it 02 Salesman was a liar.
