I have had a Pebl for years now and absolutely love love love it - it is a phone and makes great calls, texts like a dream and the voice recognition is great, I need to change it because the battery is running low but I can't find a phone that compares so I am going to get another one in a different colour! If you want a phone to make calls and is comfortable to carry around get this one.

It's a beautifully crafted phone, but it'slack of memory is a bit of a let down. I think that as a phone it's good, I only use it to text and call with, because I've got a camera and an iPod, so theres no need really. But if your looking for something stylish that you would text and call with, I would definitly recommend it!

Well, compared to the Razr2 v9, that I replaced it with, the Pebl was positively superb. As a relatively old fart who uses a mobile to call, text and remind myself of things (and take the odd photo)the lack of memory etc. didn't bother me. It worked OK. The razr I have needs charging everyday, has a back that keeps coming off and is going back to Vodaphone so they can tell me there is nothing wrong with it. So, they are all like this are they. Camera is better than the cheapo Olympus camera I have. The Razr is a bloody great camera. Lousy 'phone. Who was it who said back to a good ole Nokia? But Pebl gets 3 stars.

Being a clumsy person I needed a phone that wouldn't break easily, and it takes alot to break this phone! After 2 years of being dropped down stairs, drains and god knows where else it's finally given up on me, it's creens gone kaput. For anyone who wants a stylish, sleek looking phone and doesnt care about the features this is a brilliant phone! My friends can't get enough of the magnet slide and it feels really good in my hand, also the finish is brilliant. It's also really good for people who don't use that much technology, as it is really easy to find your way around it! Mind you beyond that, compared to todays modern phones, it's absolutly rubbish. I'm a 14 year old, so I take a ridiculous amount of photos. Apart from them being bad quality, and the fact that you can't actually see the picture unless it's perfect lighting, and many other things that REALLY irritate me, you can hardly store any! 2 years of photo taking have come down to 20 bad, blurry, badly lit, pixilated photos of me with my friends and gigs. (For anyone who likes going to gigs its rubbish, the photo takes ages to take and the lights flare over the screen). Next moan, the videos. One word, rubbish. The sound is bad, the pixels are visible as squares and the amount of crackeling is ridiculous. (Again for any gig goers, rubbish, all you can hear is your very embarassing screaming and yelling and some extremly loud crackles in the background, which I guess must be the music!) NEXT. The space is completley pathetic, i got my friend to send me ONE mp3 song, it told me that even if i deleted EVERYTHING on my phone I would still not have enough room for one song. Long story cut short, don't buy if you are even vaugley into storing anything over 1 ringtone, 20 pictures and 5 videos. Anyhting over and the phone will go beserk. Last moan, I promise. I had this problem with my old Motorola (I swear I will never buy another Motorola again.) IT BLACKS OUT ALL THE TIME! You could be in the middle of writing the most important text of your life, it won't care. It will just black out for 10 seconds, tell you to enter your unlock code, then go back to the main menu. Irritating I think is the word for it. I phoned the helpline, and they told me that in order to stop it you had to completly reset my phone. But that would have meant deleting all my darling fuzzy photos and crackly videos. ALL TWENTY FIVE OF THEM!:O

What a HUGE disappointment. I was hearing good things about this phone and begged my mother to get it... Wish I never did. The only good things about it is the opening mechanisium and the screen length. The bluetoothTM was not very good, the phone's memory itself held about 2 songs and whenever you got something over bluetoothTM it complained. I am looking forward to trying out its succssesor the U9. In the end it just stopped reading my SIM card and gave in alltogether. I had to go back to my old NokiaTM which I dropped in coffee and it works better than this. The bluetoothTM was as I said not very good. It stopped working and it wasn't very good quality. The camera was rubbish, I had no idea what I singed up for when I got this phone. It brakes at the drop of a hat, it's design which the creators' took days perfecting is the overall best of the phone as they didn't take as much care with the actual phone itself. Suge a big dissapointment... But the PEBLE's succsse sor the U9 should be a good phone.

this mobile is a huge dissapointment to mobile phones and a disgrace to motorola. with a price range of over two hundred pounds it deserves much more than a vga camera. with only 5 mbytes of memory it has no use for mp3 tracks and videos because there is not enough space. the only good thing about this mobile phone is the 262k colour screen and the auto flipper

I have had my phone for about a year now and took ages to choose it - It looked stunning! But that's as far as it went. The games are rubbish, I have 1 song on my phone and can't even take any pictures now. My sound also keeps cutting off and to fix it I need to bash it against a wall! I really was dissapointed. I'm now looking for a new phone, hopefully better than this one - I really don't like it at all.

It's a phone!! And as one it works well. All this fashion chatter about built-in cameras and MP3s is just that, fashion chatter. Wanna Camera? Buy a camera. Wanna phone buy a PEBL and you'll find it works just like a real phone!!

The look and design are great and with the amount of marketing you'd expect there to be some great features to go with it. But, there isn't. Owning a PEBL myself I know that after about taking say 5 or 6 videos you have practically no space left to store photos let alone any ringtones! Disappointing.

Had this fone for 18 months so think I can give an informed opinion. On the plus side : Nice to look at, comfortable to hold. Sturdy little thing, I've dropped it loads of times and not a scratch on it. It's never had anything go wrong with it and the ringtones are loud and clear. On the minus side : rubbish memory if you want to store lots of tunes and pics, photo quality is pretty average and battery needs charging up almost every day. So, if you want a sturdy little fone without too many extras, this is for you. Otherwise, get a sony e., samsung or nokia.

I got this phone at christmas and at first i thought i was great but i slowly started to notice problems with it, like it poor memory , its bad quality camera,it scratches so easily, the videos last about 5 seconds, im totally dissapointed with this phone but im getting a new Samsung U600.This phone is a waste of money, the only remotley good thing about it is the design, although its a bit chunky!Motorola has let me down with this one, hope they can do better than this.Dont get it !!!!

I love my old PEBL! It's the best phone I've had, but then I'm not looking for a phone that will sing & dance for me. It looks good, it feels good (and it works) so how can it be bad? So tell me why, since I've dropped my beloved in a puddle and it now kaput, isn't there any in the shops?!!

yeah, this phone is alright... if your not a serious user of a phone... just phone and text... this will be fine... not really a simple phone though... i had to completely travel through space and time to get a custom MP3 message tone... its alright i guess though...

A phone with buttons on the outside that don't lock? Whoever designed this was a complete idiot. The external buttons can change the ring style at *all* times - so you lose the ring tone. I'm only using this because my wife got fed up with it turning itself off - (might have been a bad battery - who knows).

Extremely poor phone. I favour my Nokia 3510 over it. Camera is poor quality, transfer is terrible. And overall you get to play with a whole 5MB of space!! (to you non techno junkies, thats less then a whole song...) Dont buy it, ever, only if your life depends on it
