Reviewed by Greg on 22/06/2008haha well to be fair iv had the fone just over a month now it was a replacement from 02 for the nokia 5610 witch was rubbish i read the reviews but and i wasnt to sure but its an alryt phone but it keeps restarting and the other day the screen went from white to red to blue to purple to pink to green and then reset it self but if you know how to use it. it is a good phone. Rating: Reviewed by keely on 21/06/2008 ive had this phone for about 2 weeks and i havent had many problems like some others have said. i just cant send or recieve pic messages for some reason and i have a spanish manual and dont know spanish very well. but i got the phone as agift and am very greatful and i love it....just have to figure it out. Rating: Reviewed by Laura on 18/06/2008 HATE this phone with a vengance. Battery life is worse than poor, it turns itself off, keypad "stiff" so hard to text. I'm stuck with it until my next free upgrade - which is Jan 09 - cos I can't afford to buy a new phone. This phone is proof that looks aren't everything! Rating: Reviewed by gint uk on 17/06/2008 Looks great but what a load of rubbish,slide the phone open and it shuts off not so good in an emergency there has to be a connetion fault with the z8 tried to contact motorola a few times but no reply customer service not very good, cost £200 for a phone that refuses to work like a phone.Problem for me I was bought the phone as a present dont like to upset the person who gave it to me.i think that trading standards should be informed after reading all the other comments. Rating: Reviewed by Pippa on 05/06/2008 i havent even had this phone for 1 month and since the day ive had it, its been rather tempermental, its been turning itself on and off, not good when i use it for an alarm to get me up for work! its like having a 3 year old brat! just does what it wants to! today ive had my phone on and its been working and it turned itself off again but it wont let me turn it back on, and as well it wont even register when i plug in the charger! i can get it sent away and get another z8 but im not even sure its worth it, if im going to be sending it away every other month! I have had the phone for 6 months...I never experienced any restarting...or poor battery life, I usually have to recharge mine once every two days and I use the media player often and have it on 24-7!! Features are off the hook (Love the camera)...At first I had a problem with the Keypad, but I have gotten use to it by now, so it doesn't bug me anymore! But I surely have the problem of freezing...but I guess that's expected from a Symbian handset!!but generally I think the phone is Great!!! Can't complain!! Rating: Reviewed by pierre - belgium on 18/05/2008 i got my Z8 for two weeks now and had to charge the battery only two times. only one little problem occured and that was when i made pictures i received a - no memory - messsage. after turning the phone off and back on everything was o.k.. for the rest everything works like it should. the symbian o.s. don't make it the easiest phone but when you want to spend some time learning it the Z8 is a perfect mobile phone...a mini computer. Phone shuts down during calls and texts, battery charges but then lasts seconds, wont switch on! On an 18 month contract with 02, your going to be stuck with it as they don't wont to know, they will keep asking you to send it back. Why wont they listen to all the reviews and replace with another phone.....not a motorola, never again will I touch one. Roll on the new iphones being released, its the only get out clause you will have from 02, albeit you will have to buy the iphone. Rating: Reviewed by FrightfulAccountant on 01/05/2008 I bought mine for 150 euro's. I would not have bought it at his normal price of 400 euro's. I am a huge Motorola fan, but I am not sure about this one... Motorola says it's batory can hold out form ore then 300 hours, but that is really only when you don't use it at all. I have to charge it every day and I gues the big screen (that gets dirty all the time) is responsible for that. And yes he crashes a lot. Irritating is that you have to disconect the beaatery then, but I always have to look out I don't crack the phone in two, when I am trying to remove the rear cover! on the other hand. This phone is realy good looking. Deffenly in the dark. The poson green at night is one of the most beatiful things I have ever seen. I guess the Motorola Z8 is the Lamborgini Diablo of the phones: It's so beautiful to have, but you better not excpect it will be pleasant to use it... Freezes on me 24/7, not a lot of memory, turning its self off randomly, battrey lasts about 4 hours, slow, scratces easily, not very loud, i advice you NOT TO BUY THIS PHONE!!
