Reviewed by harry on 17/04/2008 this is a good phone. i have had it 2 years and for the number of times i have dropped it, most of it still works. the only 2 things that have more or less had it are the volume switch and the camera which only works when it wants to over all this is not a bad phone. Reviewed by estelle on 21/07/2007 Dude u gotto have a seriously fat bum to break the screen. My motorola e770v pi$$es me off at times. Like Mike said, it is a pretty rad phone - minus the camera. I always get "picture capture failed", even though i only have a 64mb transflash (the card i got with my e398[which by the way, is a WAY better phone - it just lacks some features]) The reviews for the e770v have an almighty range. Heaps say they're great, heaps say they suck. I'm pretty much inbetween both extremes - simply because the camera is such a major downfall. Amen. Rating:
Reviewed by Mike on 27/05/2007 Bad bad reviews so far. This phone for what it is is a great purchase. Its an attractive phone which sits very nicely in even a large pair of hands, with a comfortable keypad and layout, and easy layout of keys. The screen is a decent size of 176x220 pixels witha 0.3mp camera. It is not a 1.3mp, it is a VGA camera. This is the phones only downfall in my opinion. I have sat on this phone plenty to be honest and its never cracked haha the screen feels very sturdy when i press it. The review talking about the camera failing to capture the image would more than likely have been using either a transflash card greater than 512mb, or a poorly branded one. Most motorola phones have issues with microsd cards over 512mb anyway. This phone was one of the best purchases i have made in truth, and if the camera had been better, this phone would be perfect imo. Rating:
Reviewed by luke on 16/08/2006 this phone seemed good at first i with a 1.3 mp camera and video and bluetooth but then i went on holiday and when a went to get my phone out of my pocket and the screen had been craked and all i was doing was sat in the car and a small amout of pressure damages the screen and so i took it back and they got me an replacement but then it happened again and this time i didnt get a refund or replacement and personally i think it is a design falult ot its just a rubbish phone and this is the first time i have ever damaged a phone in this way.I currently have a motorola slvr and its the best phone iv ever had e770v DONT GET ONE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY WHEN THE SCREEN BREAKS Rating:
Reviewed by Showman on 13/08/2006 The phone is poor. Predictive txt is odd, the camera sometimes just comes up with "failed to capture" and needs to be reset, and after about 6 months, it WILL stop working and have "water damage". This happened to both of the 2 phones I had, within a couple of weeks of each other. Rating:
