Terrible phone Battery lasts about 6 minutes. Photo's won't show - says that the picture is too big. Looks good but rubbish reliability.

this phone is absolutely awful, about a year ago my sister, my mate and i all purchased the same phone and they all got broken... the strange thing is they suffered the same fate. one of the pieces on the phone broke apart in the exact same place on all the phones. we all had insurance on the phones but were not allowed to make claims because they said the damage was not fixable and we had to buy new phones. Because it was a contract phone all i could do was wait until i was allowed to upgrade to a new phone. Absolutely rubbish!

It was one of the best phones i had ever had. I got msn on it, free internet and a FANTASTIC Camera. It had an amazing memory!! It lasted 3 years.. which to me is really good!! I didnt have a problem with it!! The only reason i got a new phone, was cause i felt like a change! It is different to all phones around, Eg: Chaging Fonts!!

Had this phone for about 5 months .. i have had no problem with it , touch wood, and everything is fine. There has been some reports of other batteries not lasting a day, but mine can last 2. There has been no faults with the phone yet but it is a little out dated. =/

i bought this phone about 2weaks ago,pretty outdated,sure, but this is an awsome phone,it still competes well with alot of more modern phones and comes on top with looks and functionality and most importantly relaiability.ive tried many phones in the past includin top brands like sony ericssons and nokias,some for the basic function of makin calls are as reliable as adonky in a horse race...read the revews of some of these other phones and get your self one lg u880 you can use and enjoy. goodluck

Well ive had two of this phone in 1 year and its done the same thing.. i turn it on and the 3 logo just flashes at you.. i love the phone but sometimes its just well slow! The battery life is poor too

I am using LG880 (black) since last 2 years. And its amazing that the battery and instrument still looks new. So many time its thrown from my bag but there is no single scretch on phone. not impressed. had this for about 3 months and already the baterry only stays charged for a day, the screen takes a while to come on when i flip it open, 1.3 MP camera? practically stoneage! and no flash! even if the fone is on silent it'll play your music player if you lean agains the fron buttons which is easy to do. reminds me very much of my ancient samsung V200 which is a dinosaur of a fone now. It's difficult to plug the chrager into the fone at times, a bit fiddly, and texting while its plugged in is a nightmare. Changing from capitol letters to normal letters in a text is nightmare. The whole things rubbish.

i've had this phone for about a year and a half and i love it. however, recently the battery has begun sucking tremendously :( it won't last a few hours without flashing "Low Battery" at me :( sending a text will kill half of it in one go :( it won't last a half hour phone conversation :( *sobs* why must the battery hate meee? :(

well... The first time i seen this phone i fell in love with it, i just loved the overall design and the way it looked!! HOWEVER the batter is rubbish and the phone gets jammed now and again. The major problem with these flip phones is that the flip breaks (i didnt expect it to break within months though)!My brother had this phone and the flip on his broke aswell. Another problem is that you cant save messages into a "folder" like nokias! The camera aint to clever aswell.

I've only troubles with this cell phone since I've bought it. After 5 months front panel broke down and today yellow screen appeared (probably battery broke down). Design good and very functional but battery life very very poor. Generally terrible. Too many mistakes guys from LG.

The main review here is full of lies, I have this phone and its a piece of junk, yeah its good looked (Probably the best i've ever had) but its signal is worse than a 3330!! And why does this review say its Had Windows Media Player? It is not a Windows Mobile Phone (They are amazing devices but chunky, have a look at the T-Mobile MDA Vario II, amazing device!) It does not even play WMA's let alone have Windows Media Player. The battery on it is the worst i've ever had, i'm lucky to be able to talk for 1 hour! The bluetooth is very very slow (20kb/s for techies - Should be around 50-80kb/s as its v1.1) The MicroSD slot does not seem to take 2Gb SanDisk Cards let alone my 4Gb Sandisk which my PDA does.

awful phone, battery does not hold charge and the pictures are terrible. the t9 software is a joke. cant really use it when charging because of position of charger, sound quality is awful, have to put it on speaker phone sometimes just to hear people talking on the other end! constantly freezes, so you have to take the battery out and start all over again! oh and the delete button is right below the send button, thats annoying!! half finished messages all over the shop! lol good points though - lots of memory, and the kaypad is quite easy to use, and seemingly indestructable, the amount of times its fallen in pints and been thrown around! definitely dont buy this unless you are looking for a very simple phone to do very simple tasks!

Hard wearing, no frills phone. I drop mine at least twice a week - tough as old boots. Because I didn't upgrade and I've been with them a while three gave me a 750 min contract for �6 perr month too. Obviously have loaded the memory card full of music - although navigation around the music is not great. This phone company are far more competitive than the rest !

Very ugly, too quiet and big. It may be thin, but it's still a brick. My one's a year old, and all sorts of dodgy defects are affecting it - for some reason it keeps telling me that my memory card doesn't exist (it obviously DOES) and sometimes the fone randomly decides to NOT play my ringtone when i have an incoming call. Finally, the sound quality is TERRIBLE. it sounds like something from the stone ages... Lots of features though, and the price isn't too bad, plus the video recording and memory is excellent

I used it and will say that its a good one.Its style and funtions are going side by side.The only Problem that I face that here in Pakistan it has not yet being introduced thus if u had some probelm in it then no repair is possibel,as no parts available here. I would wish that it will be soon displayed here and people will see the difference and have to change concept about LG.

This phone is pretty good, but try having it for 18 months! The flip bit gets so loose even gravity makes it close, and when it fell off my sofa on to the floor the whole flip broke off, and now it's broken! Better than the U8120 though...

avoid at all costs. sure it looks good on paper and thats grand if u can ever get it to work. constant problems with recieving messages sum times as much as 10hrs late some dont come at all. when charging tell anyone that wants to contact you to use your land line. i've sent 2 back to 3network so far, just waiting for contract to end. wouldnt use any lg fone ever again as my brother has a more modern lg fone with similar problems. better off with a tin can and bit of string.

i think that this phone is actually rellay good,its reliable,it sends messages,makes fne calls and most of all has bluetooth so i cn av all mi fave tunez on ere.I think that it cud be a bit better with flash on the camera maybe so that u cn see if ur out nd its dark.

I have had my pink LG U880 for 18 months and I love it the graphics are really good and the menu sytem is very easy to navigate. camera is adequate but only in reasonable light as it doesnt have a flash so it cant cope well indoors. but its not bad if you dont expect it to replace your proper camera the only downside is that in the last month or so the batterylife has disappeared, it sometimes doesnt last one full day if I'm talking a lot. But up till then I had no problems at all and its a fab colour - very girly

i had this phone, in silver, it is poor design, but ok phone, i was embarressed to take it out of my pocket infront of people. and when it rang i tried to hide it behind my cheeck!! impossible because of the size of the beast, it was just the size that was a put off for me to be honest, otherwise a good phone

I've had this phone for just under a year.. yea it works for a good two months, then after awhile you have to charge the phone for longer, at closer intervals.. now it needs to be charged every 8 hours or it dies. The reception drops out often, some places I have NONE; and useless to connect to a computer if you have lost the CD. Isn't there supposed to be somewhere you can download the software for it, just in case? Stupid phone; not worth it.

LEFT MY PHONE ON CHARGE ALL NIGHT AND WHEN I WOKE UP IT HAD A YELLOW SCREEN,CANT USE THE PHONE AT ALL. JUST CINSTANT YELLOW SCREEN. TURNED IT OFF FOR WEEKS BUT STILL THE SAME. PAID 80 QUID FOR IT FROM A SECOND HAND SHOP. CANT GET REFUND SO I SCREWED.

The LGU880 is the best phone to date. Unlike Nokia, it is very fast and quick loading. Opening SMS's and other features requires no waiting time or loading...it's GREAT. Also the inbuilt 72MB memory is fantastic.

well it survived a bath twice. the external mp3 buttons eventually stopped working though. battery life seems quite short, required daily chargings, the flip hinged died and the flip would just flop on me. I dropped it one too many times and the screen came away from the keypad and the phone ceased working. The memory didn't seem that good as i constantly had to delete songs in order to put more on

Good phone and intuitive to use, but battery life is woeful. After having the phone less than a year, battery life is down to less than a day - and that's if I don't use it! A 5 min call will kill it quicker. In addition, when the battery runs down, the phone has to have been on charge an age before you can use it again - very annoying. Signal also quite poor, though not usre whether this is due to phone or 3.

I have had the Lg u880 for quit a long time, and recently it was stolen from me, i have nothing more to say than this fone has never given me any trouble at ALL. it works 24/7, it has a HUGE memory capability and looks are great. I use to have my fone off the charger for up to four days. Never a problem. Camera, great quality and has so many useful features. I am currently on the search for the same fone. I prefer this one over many, its very reliable and efficient. I really love this phone!!!

I have had a lg u880 for 1 1/2 years and its connected to the 3G network. If I travel 80kms to the city it works fine, but in the country or anywhere around hills, its useless. Our Shire is about 600km2 and my range is only a 6km radius range around the town centre.

I have owned this phone now for over a year now, and yes i suppose its an o.k phone.. however, for those who wish to use it as an mp3 player i could only store 11 songs on there, if you wished to extend this you would need a memory card. I thought the camera was pretty poor quality, and no good for night shots as there is no flash. Its a pretty big phone, it may be thin but is extremely large when you flip it up. the video recorder has an extremely poor quality also. But the phone is easy to use.. the keypad has fairly big buttons so its easy to type a txt message. Its not a bad phone but for those who are looking for something more technical i would not recommend it.

Don't get this phone! I've had it for nearly a year now, and I'm not impressed. Picture quality isn't great, there's not flash so no nightime pics. In general it's poorly laid out and difficult to get the hang of. You can't text whilst charging. Battery life on mine is about 5hrs from full charge. You can't have Mp3 as ringtones and I can't get pics via bluetooth. Overall, rubbish!

I liked the phone when i first had it, but now i think its terrible! it recently snapped in half which some of my friends has done aswell. Anyway i had that repaired but now the screen likes to go blank whenever it wants, and the battery time is pathetic! Signals not top notch either!

I bought this phone on contract about a year ago. for six months or so everything appeared ok. It is after all a phone with a great range of features however, about six months ago iy started to switch itself off and then it stopped holding its power. after 10 mins of conversation it was useless. i tried a new battery and it didnt change a thing. the phone just switched itself off one day and never came back on again. I switched to what i thought was my trusty spare LG 8120. after 2 weeks of being able to use a mobile again it done exactly the same thing. im told now that its a software problem and everything i have on the phone will be lost when i have it repaired. pretty useless really!!!! wouldnt buy another LG.

this phone has served me well for the last year i always used nokia's before this as thay where alway reliable then i got my lg u880 but just in the last few days the batterie has started to die within 12 hours but thats a commin problem with alot of phones easily fixed with a new batterie. memory is excellent qulity is excellent easy to use. coverage on 3 mobile has been very good. but i could not get my hands on a new batteri so i bought a nokia 6630 off ebay

I have this actuall in the same colour as that one (black) and i think its a excellent phone wich suites my needs, it is slim light and looks really nice and has fast internet connection....i have even dropped my phone from quite a high surface and it fell flat on the screen, and dint even damage it, not even a scratch! excellent phone well done LG

Hi:)I'm from poland. I got this phone yesterday. It's excellent, but I have one problem with it and I'd like to ask you for help... Is it possible to switch of the main screen when the clamshell is closed? I Tried to set it, but still when the front screen is used the main one is shining too:/ Please could you tell me how to overcome this problem. Thanks! Matt

best fone eva dont no y ppl are complaining.... it has everthing like the lg u8360 but with no flash and more memory and it has a good camera and desent size photos on the computer....

This was my mums' phone but she bought the Peble and i wanted hers. I did have a SamsungE530 and to be totally honest nothing and i mean NOTHIN will ever beat my old phone but it is time for a change. I do like this phone ALOT!! and im on 3 network and thats awsome too. overall i recommend this phone to anyone .. the only let down is the camera its not amazin but hey its a camera .. =)

the phone is to big for my liking and it could do with being smaller the flip is so easyliy brocken its rubbish it really is but the colour is ok .....................................i suppose...........

this is a OK phone but it is a bit too big and the flip is so easy to break i have reasently owned a LG U800 and it worked for a couple of months and broke down the screen switched off and the flip obviously brock but all in all its a good phone (could still be alot smaller and thinner)

gt this fone lyk a yr ago have d say its amazin lyk...tha music fng is sweet lyk, bd fing is that ther no airplane mode..damn but i no how to trn of tha banner at tha bottom of tha scren...its in settins or sumfin...actualli its in display or sumfin an tha fone is far beter with out crappy 3 advetisin wen ye go dey donegal....no signal...wenye go dey tha middle of tha cean...no sgnal..thats nat gud enough lyk...well a have go lyk bye

i really like this phone have had it for nearly a year i previously had a motorola V3 which looked nice but was a pile of rubbish was so slow to respond and had no memory where this phone is great and also came in pink and is very light the only fault that i can find is that it doesnt have a flash with the camera. also at first i had problems with looking at the time keep having to open and close phone to make the time come on the front screen but if you hold the middle button on the front of the phone down for a few seconds it lights up the screen so overalli give this phone a top rating

WOW! what a fone, i got this yesterday and have got used to it already, it is nice to use and easy to use, when people say the camera is rubbish, i cant see what there on about, its a 1.3 and what a brilliant 1.3 it is, and when they say it simply isnt loud enough, omg this fone is sereously loud, i would reccomend this fone to anyone looking to try something new like i did, when my upgrade comes next year i think ill let my sister have it coz i really love this fone, *****

I've had this phone for 6 months and I'm fed-up wid it. It has to be charged every day and writting a text message is at best painfull. It does not predict at all and some every words are not recognised. The camera is rubbish. Overall the only good thing I can say about it is that it looks good and the buttons are nice to use. My last phone was a Motarola, and guess what my next one will be..

Good phone, very slim and light for 3g, looks nice. Nice features- good quality sound. However, I seem to send text messages while writing mid-way by accidently clicking on send button which is not in a good location, this happens quite frequently and can be annoying. But generally a very good phone. You can extend the video length to upto approx an hour.

An amazing phone, the best i have ever had! Graet range on the bluetooth, easy to use, looks great, great camera (both still and video)the list just goes on an on. i regret to say that there is one problem, when you soom in on saved pictures, it pixelates!

I have only had this phone for a week and have yet to discover all of the features, but from what i've seen, it's superb. it's even smaller than my old sony ericcson t610, yet manages to havd 3g, gd camera, two screens and an mp3 player. menus and buttons are really intuitive and take only bout an hour to use it seemlessly. the software that 3 bundles with it is excellent for transferring files, as well as synchronising contacts, calendars and task lists with outlook. overall, i'm delighted, and though i'm not sure the cover for the charger will survive a year of rough use and may break off, i'm not aware of many fones which come with a cover in the first place, so it doesn't seem like a big deal to me!

I think that the 3 LG U880 is one of LG's best 3 mobiles yet. The elegance and style and grace is just beautiful and the camera (wow!) the quality is just awsome because of 1.3 megapixels my old phone i thought had a good camera (sagem my-c5-2v) but this one is way way better. In my life i have had a total of ???? phones i dont quite remember how many so ill just list a few: *Motorola v550, *Samsung 3g, *Nokia 5110i, *LG U8860, *Lg C110, *Sagem my-c5-2v, *Sagem my-c2, And now the 3 LG U880 because even thought its most popular colour is pink and black i got a stripey zebra effect on my 3 LG U880 because i asked for it. The phone is just awsome and i cant wait until LG brings out a new 3 LG mobile which just might be able to compete against this phones. (kinky) ONLINE

i've just gotta say that this phone is the best ive had so far its very slim and fits nicely into your pocket but the bad points is that it doesnt have flash or speakers on the outside unlike the lg u8360 the lg u8360 is very fat and chunky though so i pick the u880 over the u360.
