The LG Chocolate KG800 is a top of the range sliding phone. It has an award wining unique design with a heat sensitive touch pad that glows red to show you where to press. With the keypad being heat sensitive, it prevents items in your pocket or bag from activating it, and when not in use the touch pad disappears to leave a clean exterior finish.
The phone has a camera with 1.3 megapixels, 4 x digital zoom and a flash to enable photos to be taken in poor lighting, and with video recording capabilities you are also able to record short clips. The features of this camera are average when compared to other top of the range phones as there are some excellent camera phones available such as the Sony Ericsson K790i, which has 3.2 megapixels as well as a Xenon flash, autofocus and video capabilities.
The KG800 has a good TFT Display which is very bright and viewable in sunshine. It has a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels and supports 262k colours.
It has an MP3 player that supports a wide range of other formats such as AAC, AAC+, AAC++ and WMA. The dedicated key around the edge of the phone will launch the phone into music player mode and you are able to control the music being played with the touch pad or the inline remote control supplied with the headset. MP3's are also supported for ringtones.
Memory for the phone is quite good with 128MB of internal memory; however there is no option to expand this with an external memory card so if you are serious about storing a lot of music or other files this will limit you.
Connectivity is very good with the two main options available, Bluetooth and USB. With Bluetooth you are able to wirelessly connect to another Bluetooth device up to 10 meters apart. The USB cable allows you to connect to a PC and with this you are able to use your phone as a mass storage device which enables you to drag and drop files such as music, photos and videos etc straight onto your phone from your PC.
Internet connection is disappointing in comparison to other phones of this price range, the KG800 uses GPRS data transfer rates which are significantly slower then EDGE or 3G (which can be three times faster or more respectively).
The battery life of the phone is below average with only 200 hours of standby time. It supports Tri-band operating frequency which means it will work in Europe and America.
Overall, this is an extremely stylish phone with a beautiful chocolate brown smooth finish, it's definitely one of the coolest phones to have but if you require something with a bit more functionality, this is not the phone for you as the features are pretty much standard for a top of the range phone and for your money you can get something that offers more. With a few complaints about the poor battery life and the sensitive keypad amongst other niggles from users, this is not a phone that we are recommending.

yo yo yo i got nokia 6303 it is a really good phone because it has a good battery life and it is a brilliant phone to use for music it is loud. also it has good features.

Its a good phone. The only thing is the battery life on my kg800 I found a way around it. If you leave the slide down for 20 mins then it goes up some battery so I dont need to charge it. With the mp3 it has good sound but there is one problem with it. When you listen to music your battery life goes down easily. Yes I do get alot of finger marks but I guess I just have to clean them off. But I dont use the mp3 player cuz of battery so I buyed an ipod!.

~*~ This is admittedly quite a long review, but it's all true, based on experience, and not aiming to criticise anyone for their views on this phone (though some of the previous reviews are a bit on the incomprehensible side as they appear to have been posted by people who write like lolcats... ;-) ) ~*~ OK, maybe I'm behind the times (retro-chic ;-) ) here, but I have an LG Chocolate [KG800] and it's nearly 2010...I've had my phone since Feb 2007, and it's not broken or unusable despite being dropped on several occasions, and it only has barely-visible scratches (to be fair, I do keep it in a case most of the time, which is slightly thicker than the pouch that came with the phone, which I've never actually used). I'm not enough of a phone addict to need a new mobile every five minutes (metaphorically), so I don't mind that it perhaps doesn't have all the latest features that an iPhone for instance might have - I'm quite content with the Hangman game I downloaded after the included Sudoku got boring as it was pretty easy. I'm also not one of those people who's constantly glued to their mobile like it's a life support machine, which is perhaps why it seems to have lasted so well...and also why I can't comment on the quality of predictive text because despite only being 25 I'm obviously not down-with-the-kids enough to feel comfortable using it, so I barely ever have. I don't fully agree with those who say the ringtones are too quiet; in fact, with the volume up to 5 (the maximum), the default tunes included in the phone's Sounds folder play at a practically ear-splitting volume. (The first one, Etude, sounds especially piercing at full volume so I tend to avoid accessing that folder...) I have all of my phone's sounds turned right up because this particular phone is quite small and has a habit of vanishing into the depths of my bag (where the sounds may not be as clear as the manufacturers intended), and my hearing can be a bit rubbish sometimes. Occasionally this means that by the time I've unearthed my phone, it's stopped ringing - it would be useful if there was a way of making it ring for longer before stopping (and going to voicemail) - and in case anyone's about to suggest using a longer song as a ringtone, I suspect that wouldn't make any difference. Some of the sounds seem a lot louder than others - for instance, the 'message sent' and 'low battery' noises aren't especially subtle if you're in a fairly quiet place (like at work, perhaps), but the sound when you slide the phone open/closed seems much more gentle. Maybe it's just due to my choices of sounds/alerts, or some fluke of my hearing, though. With my MP3 ringtone, I was able to make it extra-loud by converting it into a wav on my laptop, increasing the volume several times, and turning it back into an MP3 again - a bit fiddly, but fairly easy if you have the software and know-how. Another thing regarding ringtones...if you set an MP3 as your ringtone but the phone keeps playing something else when you're called, you need to go into the Contacts menu, go down to Caller groups, and set the MP3 [or several different MP3s if you prefer] as the ringtone for each group. This either wasn't mentioned in the instructions, or wasn't obvious - I only found out via Yahoo! Answers(!) I agree with some of the down-sides of this phone - for instance, the battery always seems to have run out while I wasn't looking just as I want to take a picture or make a call, and sometimes seems to go from one 'bar' of charge back up to two or three, then down to one again all of a sudden for no obvious reason. I don't leave my phone switched on all the time, and it seems to run out more quickly than I'd expect, which is frustrating. I can't remember whether the battery used to hold the charge for longer when the phone was new, so I don't know if this is normal for a roughly three-year-old battery. Some people on eBay sell (supposedly) higher capacity batteries that are compatible but not made by LG, which sound like a good idea but I don't know if they'd work as well as the sellers claim. I also agree that the shiny surface is an absolute stain-magnet. Things like fingerprints, tears, sweat or make-up that accidentally find their way onto the phone's glossy surface tend to cling to it rather more readily than I'd like. (However, one of my younger cousins once had great fun polishing my phone with the little cleaner thing that came with it, so it's not all bad :-) ) Additionally, I agree with whoever said about the camera being slow - it's annoying for taking pictures of things like animals that aren't good at staying still because it takes ages to open in the first place, then ages to save the picture. Another issue that nobody here has mentioned (so maybe it's just my phone being quirky) is that photos don't seem to be in any particular order in the photo album (especially if you've just taken them and haven't got round to giving them proper titles yet)...they're in a roughly chronological order but with a few recent pics thrown in amongst the older ones, then some new-ish ones, then a few I took last Autumn. It just doesn't make sense. I also wish the voice recorder could record longer and louder clips. To anyone who's still insistent that this is a chav phone, the chavs must have moved on because in all honesty I've barely noticed anyone - chav or otherwise - with a phone the same as mine in the time since I bought my one. A couple of my sister's friends used to have them (in different colours, I think) but they weren't overly chavvy people. I'm about as un-chav as they come, being an individualistic Trekkie with an honours degree, who sometimes gets mistaken for a Goth and uses accurate punctuation in text messages whenever possible...! I didn't buy this phone as a status symbol, or because my favourite celebrity has one (to be honest my favourite celeb probably has a really basic phone as she's not too great with technology!) - I bought it because I'm a chocoholic and therefore liked the name, and the slide-opening and the red lights of the touch-sensitive controls struck me as vaguely Star Trek. I also think it's a nice touch that the packaging resembles a chocolate box...my phone's named Bourneville because it's a dark Chocolate. ;-) Summary: Main bad point(s) - the Chocolate loses a star because the battery life seems annoyingly short (doesn't help that I sometimes forget to charge it!) Main good point(s) - does what I need it to do [as long as the battery's charged], and is still in virtually as-new condition (if you overlook the smudges that typically adorn its casing) after almost three years so is obviously more substantial than its reputation suggests.

i have had TWO lg kg800 and both broke the charger packs ups then you try and charge it on pc it soons breaks lol mine packed up l;ast nite and now will not charge at all so all i'm saying is beware and go careful with it i had the 1 phone for 2 yrs 4 yrs today then the other i gt on my birthday and that broken already and i had tht for a year!!!!

The Phone is good and reliable but the battery is very poor! You can't charge it fully and then spend a few mins constantly doing something, without it running out! I would not reccomend this phone at all!

This phone is nice-but you get your finger print stands out and I hate it when I'm texting and I have to wait for about 3sec before I can press the same button (eg typing monopoly takes ages) and I don't like it where you have to go back to the list to see the pictures(you can't just go next picture by pressing the side button)

I got this phne sencond hand and i can officially say it is the most annoying phone i have ever been unfortunate enough to come across. The touch screen is very sensative and even though i have had it for a year, still havent mastered it. And it just doesnt make sense when you use it! If you blutooth a song over, it goes into extras, not songs. And you cant move them! Whats more, the battery life is rubbish, and you have to pay a fortune for games (no apps!). I never use it, and i am looking forward to getting a new phone, not an LG. Incredibly annoying.

It's a good phone while it lasts. Almost everyone i know who has this phone has had glitches with it or has broken entirely. My battery is glitching, which makes it turn off randomly at annoying times like when I'm texting or calling someone. It likes to pick it's moments. It also scratches easily. Other than that it is quite a decent phone, I especially like its touch buttons. :)

I'm not going to say its a bad phone, because its not, it just has its faults. Lets just say, its good points outweigh the badpoints. Yeah, sometimes the battery can be a bother and yeah, the bluetooth is pretty slow but thats all i can say. The memory could be better i suppose but mine can hold 200 pictures and currently has 25 songs all aroung 4mins long, the cameras not that bad, and the features are all really usefull. I would recommend it. dont be put off by the bad things about it.

rubbish. i broke it by dropping it. i can only hold TWO songs, both under 4 mins. the camera freezes all the time and it isnt very good. I think I may have a faulty one because the rest seem to be good but it is still not good enough.

No, I certainly do not recommend this phone. I had to get rid of it after a month. It has pushy little menus that Always come up and you can't stop it. the buttons are horrid. It looks lovely but the actual phone is disagraceful and it has put me off LG phones for life

I have got the chocolate and have had it for nearly 12 months now, it has seved me well but only as a phone, not a nusic phone or a camera as those aspects of the phone are very poor. the mempry is tiny and screen also not very big, the sound is poor quality etc etc... but a good thing about this phone is that it is indestructable, i have dropped it, thrown it accros the room, dropped it in he bath, stood on it and more and it still works, but having said that the phone scratches very easily. the touch sensitive keys take a bit of getting used to and can be very iresponsive which is very annoying! i would not really recomned this phone for anything other that a normal phone for calling and texting people - and even that really isnt great... a bit of a dissapoinment to be honest.

Neat phone, a bit on the feminine side. Colour's great. I've had no prob with message tones or dropped calls. However, reception is a challenge, the buttons don't work if the battery is low (which is every 24 or so hours), and you can't answer calls if the headset is plugged in. The biggest disappointment for me, and I think this is pretty dumb for a phone, the number pad has no backlight. That means... YOU CAN'T SEE TO MAKE CALLS IN THE DARK!!!! I'm glad I got that out! It's the dumbmest way to spoil a neat phone. That affects the rating big time in my opinion.

Ive had this phone for over a year now and when i got it everyone said it would melt into my coffee table or explode well it hasnt done anything so drastic but to put it kidly this phone IS RUBBISH !!!! the touch screen is either over sensItive or wont work !! the camera is so rubbish !! you cant press the okay button to take a photo coz the touchscreen is so bad !! it stores photo badly !! its really bad and i wouldnt get it !!!

I got this phone for 25 quid. it doesn't have loudspeaker. its an average phone, your only paying 25 quid. very small petite cute. i've had it for a year now, still going strong. i only use it for call and texts. Battery life is great. DONT EXPECT ANYTHINK FANCY FOR A PHONE THIS PRICE. but for what its worth its gr8

After having bought a KG800 as a backup I found out that you cannot apply mp3 tunes as ringtones. You can listen to them on the player but I can't get away from the annoying polyphonic ringtones! I like to listen to MY music and not what LG wants you to! Unless someone comes up with a solution to this now well known problem, this cheap chocolate bar goes back on eBay!

I have had this phone for 2 years and it has been good but now it is pretty bad to be honest. The batterey is poor and the screen always goes white so i ahve to always turin it on and off continously it is extremely annoying! But it is of for a temp phone. But all i can say is don't be fooled by it's looks it may look nice but it don't last for long!

I bought the LG Chocolate about a year and a half ago, and at first I loved it - but, I've found that the phone doesn't have much memory, my battery runs out really quickly and its quite unreliable. Sometimes the battery won't even last a day! But that could just be my battery. I've also found that it's quite slow to work most of the time. However, I've still found it a good phone, with a suitable camera and I still love the look of it! I also think the applications are pretty cool and the mp3 player is fairly good. Calls are easy to make and receive. I can overlook most of the little problems, but my main complaint is the battery life, it's really unreliable.

dude outsandin phone i love it cuz everything is so sick and plus the phone is slim but however the flex ribion goes after 3years.. however you can get it for �1 on ebay dude this phone is the best i ever had plus the battery life last for over 4days for me and i keep my bluetooth on aswell i have got over 30 and over 100 picz and i still got lost of space left

Ive had this phone for ages, I love how it looks, but, it has a small memory, i can only have 14 songs on it, anymore, it crashes, and i have to get the phone wiped (done that 3 times already), it aslo freezes when i use the camra, wich is really bad anyway, it takes over 10 mins for it to load when i turn it on, the batrie is rubbish, one moment its on full, the next it needs to charge, then my phone decides it has half a batrie. On the plus side, i have droped it about 7 times onto concrete, and it only has minor scratches and chips. The speaker is really good on 1-4, but when you turn it up to 5, it doesnt sound as good. I would not recomend this phone to anyone.

i have this phone at the moment currently searching for a new one. it is a good fone but is easily scratched. ive had it for almost 2 years and the keypad plays up. it does its own thing. the camera quality and become worse since it was first bought and the music memory is poor. it holds lots of pictures though.The sound quality is not fantasic but it is a decent phone.

I've had the LG chocolate for about 1 and a half, and i had to get it repaired after about 6 months. The battery life isn't great, and after taking a video or a few pictures, the battery is nearly drained. The same with listening to a few songs. It is good looking but the screen scratches very easily and the touch buttons are very sensitive. Despite these flaws, it is a good size and i got a good price for it, �39 :)

If you are on a contract for more than a year, don't get this phone! I was really excited when I first got this phone; I though it was great. Boy was i wrong... Camera: This phone only holds around 20 pictures- yes you heard me, 20!! Not only that, but it doesn't even have a memory card so you cant transfer the pics to the computer. Continuing on about the camera, it does have flash which is good but there are only a few editing options like colour tones(4: Normal,Sepia,b&w,negative) You can't put text on the pics or funny hats or frames so im not loving the camera part. As for the video, if you're filming somthing that's still then it would be a great recorder. The videos come out blurry and you cant hear what people are saying when you play back the movie. And I can't figure out zoom. Texting: Texting is quite easy on this phone. I love how easy it is to move your fingers on the slick keys. Though they are small, you can quickly get your message across. Of course it's not full qwerty but I easliy picked up the t9word method of texting. Calls: "WHAT?? MOM I CAN"T HEAR YOU!!" Horrible call quality. I also found that beacause it is touch sensitive i have hung up on people by "touching" 'end call' with my cheek when I'm speaking. When it goes into a call the keys go off so you can't touch them, but because i have to use the volume rocker at the side of the phone to always higher the volume, the touch sensitve keys light up so I touch them with my cheek there for ending calls (After like 2 mins of talking to my self then wondering why no one answered I look at the screen and it's the screen saver! Ugggh) One cool thing is i love that you can coutomize the pic for each person and it will pop up when it rings ( remember you can only store 20 photos) Design: Clearly this phone is gorgous,untill you scratch the screen and you can't see anything beacuse the scratches and finger prints.It has a great slide out key board and over sensitive keys. Sadly this phone is not durable :( The back where my battery pack is just broke an no longer snaps in (this happened like 45 mins ago that's why im writing this) I take really good care of my electroics and yet the phone still gets chipped on the side! Music: I don't use the music player beause my phone isnt detected by the computer! So thats all i have to say about that. Overall: A pretty no-customizable cute annoying ok phone which i almost gartuteee u will hate within a year. Any ways i can go on forever about this but the phone isnt good so why would i want to?? xoxoxo Trina

Hmm... yes... An ok phone with ok features... does what it says on the tin. Pros: Easy to use interface, ok camera, good looking. Cons: Annoying little sounds that you really don't need, Annoyng touch buttons.

I thought this phone was attractive, good value for money and easy to use at first - so i thought this would last me for a long time but after only having it for a week i dropped it for the first time from a very low distance and it is now completely broke so all in all i think this is a very unrelyable phone as all the other phones i have had i have dropped them atleast ten times from a very high distance and they have never broke. So i definitley wouldnt recommend this phone as it is not a very practicle phone at all. I have been well and truly ripped off :(.

I'm sorry, but this was definantly the worst phone I've ever had, and I bought a phone for �15.00. The camera never worked, and it was rubbish, I had to take it back 5 times, no kidding. It kept on breaking. And the guy I sent it back to said that these phones always break. It scratches REALLY easily, and the buttons are was to over sencored. I could just miss the OK button, an it would press ring, kind of thing. It looks nice, but it isn't what it seems

I've had this phone for about three years now, I've managed to go through four of them, all of them breaking from simple things such as falling off my bedside table. The battery life is quite poor after about a year and will only last for about three days, which can get annoying. If you're wanting a camera phone this is not the phone for you with its 1.3 magapixel camera, and the videocamera is nearly useless. Also it only stores 300 texts which gets very annoying. The touch buttons are too sensitive, I often find myself hanging up on people if I put the phone to my ear or calling people y accident when I've just got the phone in my hand. but it is a cheap little phone so not too bad as a temporary phone or something along those lines

ive had this phone for a couple of months and it is terrible, the phone dies every now and then for no reason, when i make phone calls it dies halfway through at about 1 minute into the call even if the battery had been fully charged. I knwo there is somethign wrong with the phone and its battery, but it was sold to me brand new and i cannot take it back i need a new phone

the lg chocolate is very good it has good memory you can actually hold round 60 songs and you can hold 1000 pictures which is very good i am 10 years old and i think every should use this phone x

This was the worst phone I have ever bought. The battery was terrible, had to charge it every night and I am not a heavy user. It froze countless times, and would switch itself off. I threw it in the bin and everyone else should do the same

I got this phone a few months ago and I loved it. Everybody warned me not to get it as they said that they always break but I got it anyway. Found it easy to use, the touch sensitive buttons were fine, got about 30 songs on there and the battery wasn't a noticable problem. However within 6 weeks it broke. I took it back and got a replacement. Again, loved it, thought it was beautiful and just amazing for the price. But it broke again, this time within the first 2 months. Wish I'd listened to everyone. They always break apparantly. Bad Times.

I dont like this phone, i got it a year and a half ago and it broke soon. The back keeps falling off, and it keeps freezing. However texting is easy, and i think the camera is ok. The touch pad can be quite annoying and a bit slow at times, and i have had this phone for a while. DONT BUY THIS PHONE! x

This phone looks AMAZING. I had the red coloured one. However - this phone drove me mad. It kept freezing - mainly when I was sending a text. If I used the middle OK button, it'd freeze, which meant I had to use the top left "Options" button all the time instead. It scratched fairly easily, but scratches don't really concern me personally. The camera was all right, nothing special - a bit blurry, but, that's what you get for 1.3 megapixels! This is a small problem, but it annoyed me - when I played a song, it would cut of the last 1 or 2 seconds..... It IS durable, I dropped it in water a few times (not intentionally, of course) and it survived - was a bit dodgy for the next few days, but it still worked. The Bluetooth was awful, so S L O W... Eventually, two of the buttons were "broken" - I had to press extremely hard a few times for them to work. I'd put up with the dodgy buttons for a few days, then my phone just would not turn on. So I had the excuse for a new o ne. I don't think I'd recommend this phone, as, even though it's durable, it's quite slow and unreliable.

well i do like this phone but...you cant have it on speaker so when me and my friends want to hear the person on the other line we cant unlike on there phones also it takes forever to send stuff on blue tooth also it scratches easily it has lodes of finger prints on the buttons go dodgy when i text to quick the signal is always very bad (i dont no if there is signal in that place or not (it looks like full bars but when i try to ring it says network not avalible))there are lots of good things to but it is a cheap phone and also there are no good games and when i tryed to put one on it wouldnt let me as i said it is good but when i got it in november 08.About two months later i though my old phone was better (an old moterola)!!!

Well ive had 4 oh the black lg chocolates all 4 have broken within months eather when u ut the camera on it goes green/purple. or the main screen ust goes pure white. i have contacted lg and they say it is a actual fault in the phone design so i dont think i will bother with a 5th! allthough they do repair them for free and shudnt be a problem after but why buy a phone u know is going to break wetha u get it fixed for free or not!

I have got to say that I am disgusted with this phone the camera is poor and the bluetooth is extremely slow and the battery runs out every day also the memory is below average it can only hold around thirty tracks with no space for a memory card of any sort. i've had this phone since feb 2007 and i'm totally sick of it and i never really liked it in the first place. The battery life is definitely the most annoying it can jump from being full power to nothing at all and i don't think it is ever right. Also the camera is rubbish which isnt good because i enjoy taking pictures. Don't EVER buy this phone it'll just let you down!

I have had this phone for a while, and it has a couple of problems, 1st, tha battery life is awful (i have to charge it every day!) 2nd, When i change the ringtone, it comes up with 'done', but when the phone goes, it playes the same ringtone as before (which was the one that was set in the shop), and there is no option, as far as i can see, to change the sound of the messgae alert. So, i woulden't advise anyone to buy this phone, ITS RUBBISH!!!!!

Its an alright phone, it looks pretty good when you first take it out of the box but then after a while fingerprints show up on the screen and all over it. The camera is not amazing quality but its ok. I find that when I'm speaking to people on the phone its quite muffled and hard to hear them , also its kind of bad that I cant get it on loudspeaker.I'm not embarrassed to get it out because it looks alright but I think I'm going to upgrade soon after having it for a year.

I got this phone a couple of years ago. To those who say it breaks easily and not sturdy, you are lieing! I ahve watched my friends break their so called 'sterdy' phones over the last few years while mine has stayed strong. it look fantastic and it is easy to use. However a couple of problems is that it has a very low memory and the camera is the best however it gets the job done. If u are lookin for a phone to store alot of data or take pictures with, stay well clear. however if u are lookin for a cheap phone which is sturdy and looks nice, this has to be at the top of your list!

Not good at all: Battery - Good, it goes for about a week taking in about 15 calls. Appearence - Pretty, practical and stylish. the touch screen messed up on mine, (ill tell you about that later.) Nice buttons! they are the best looking part! The graphics aren't impressive and I wouldn't reccomend this mobile. I switched my phone off and a week later i switched it on again. I pressed the number "3" and it typed the number "8" the touch screen froze and I had to buy another phone. Good for a first mobile, not good for a frequent mobile user.

its good at first when you have it for a long time it can be damaged really easy. I scratched it once and there is lots of finger marks on the screen of it which ruins it. The look of the phone is really nice , mine was lilac which was appealing to me, music was good you can hold quite a few songs which is fab, its a really nice but it does get a little boring !!!

i got this phone as a birthday present and it was a good looking phone but when you use the phone, there is fingerprints on the phone and it is very clear to see fingerprints on the phone. memory is poor and camera is small but ok. it was too expensive for a phone like itself. the sound mysteriously got broken for no reason what i can think of and a few days later the sound returned. then it dissapeared again (the sound was in maximum level). The downloading and the battery life is terrible. i am now not going to buy LG anymore and i think the LG Chocolate was a waste of money and very frustrating to use.

my brother and his friend had the same mobile [lg chocolate] and my dad had one too for a short time then it started to act weird and wouldent work usually in my opinion all lgs are the same. You want to buy this phone do some research and you'll find out the same, still if you persist have it on two years garantee and keep the repcipt......YOU WILL NEED IT!

I think this phone never fails you , even though it hasnt got a memory card so you cant have that many songs but you can have up to 28 with alot of photos and that the speaker can go resonably loud and has a great sound , the camra seems alot better than 1.3 mp and it's very clear , i have had this phone for about a year and it still works great with a few miner scratches :) ohhh btw happy easter (L)

Ive had the phone for quite a while now and have noticed it charges up very quickly but runs out quickly. The camera is decent but the light takes up loads of battery. Its scratches very easily and the buttons arnt good for texting fast. Over all Im not too immpressed and regret getting it.

Bit of a let down. I bought this phone around half a year ago and I am sick of it ! The touch pad is extremely slow, it holds barely 20 songs,has no games, scratches easily, has no loud speaker when receiving a call and no text message sound. I am now buying a new phone as this one is completely and utterly boring! If you are looking for a phone that can hold alot of songs, is easy to use- then this is not the one for you.

I have had this phone for almost a year now and i have to say that i like it. It may not be the most complicated phone but it is still pretty amazing. I like it's overall display and it looks great so i don't mind having it out in public. Also for a 1.3 megapixel camera its pretty good, the sound is also quite high quality as it does not come out tinny or muffled. Only problem is i like using it so much i use up �10 credit every few days.

I got this phone two years ago and at the time it seemed great, however the picture quality of the camera is getting poorer and poorer. The pictures that i do take, are stored in a competely random order, so are impossible to find. The layout of the phone is very strange, still not used to it. The memory is very poor as are the speakers. Finally in the last couple of months it would randomly start turning off, then everything went white, next when i turned it on the screen was split into 4 sections each showing the display. Now i cant even turn it on, do not buy this phone-useless

Ive had this phone for about 2 years now and ive had problems since the start. Ive had many problems with the screen, plugged it in to charge and the screen went negative, twice ive sent it in for repairs for that. During the middle of texting it would randomly turn off even with full battery. The battery was rubbish, had to buy a new one off ebay. And now often when i open or close my phone the screen goes white and wont work, plus the graphics have gone fuzzy and i cant see my clock, earlier today the my background became very green and pictures and symbols were totally unrecognizable. Everybody ive spoken to whos had this phone had similar problems with it. NOT IMPRESSED, yes it looked good but thats the only good thing about it.

I think that the phone is cool but the touchpad gets annoying when you want to get somewhere fast - it ends up on going on something completely different. The memory is good though. I have over 40 songs (full Lengnth) I hope u have found this usefull!!

Not bad, have had it for a few months now and it does everything I need. The camera is OK for simple picture messaging (though the "flash" light is very bright if you are photographing people!) I've not used the MP3 facility much. Biggest complaint I have is the relativel poor battery life - I have to charge every couple of days. Other than that, a good 'phone.

hi its me again i have wrote 3 reviews for the cookie so ill move on i had the lg choclate from about 11 feb 08 and it lasted me to early march 08 battery is rubbish and its not very good but the touchscreen is ok and fun so its not worth the money but if you just want a buttoned touchscreen and a rubbish fone go for it read the cookie reviews as i will be writing a 4th but the chocolate is not very good!

I took some great pictures with this phone but the battery life is very very bad. Mine only lasts about 2 days until i have to charge it again but if you threw this phone at a wall, there is a 50% chance it would not break even though people make it out to be really sensitive. You can't edit pictures and do much stuff but it's a good phone for someone who wants to txt and call.

I have the Lilac LG chocolate , I think it is a very simple phone which is easy to use. I have had mine for about a year and 2 months and it is still working fine. I chose this phone beacause it has got a camera , video camera , mp3 player and bluetooth. I am glad i had this phone i love it.

Hello, I have owned an LG Chocolate for 7 months now and have to say I have not had any problems with it. It took me less than an our to get used to the touch sensitive buttons plus it was my first touch phone, if you are thinking of buying this phone then do and although it's quite an old phone it is still stunning. But here comes the bad parts, to start with it's a finger print magnet and a basket to get off, ive actually dented the screen somehow, after about 5 or 6 months I have started to get problems with it, such as the phone has spazms when I accidently press the silver button on the headphoness, then try to quickly knock it off it doesnt work and it starts to call people (normally the last number I called in my call register). And now after about 6 1/2 or 7 months something has broken in the back and the battery keeps coming out when I slide it up. The speakers are not that loud and not very good if you want to listen to your music loudly without your headp hone's because it muffles it. Oh 1 last bad point, is that it doesnt play GIS's as screen wallpapers. But apart from that its good (including the camera which I have not had any problems with).

LG chocalate is rubish because when i try to call my mum and it said emergensys only what if i was in a fire and tryed to call someone and it says emergensys only plus the touch sensitive keys are rubish my mum and i have a problem with it the battery lasts for like two days this phone is the worst phone ive seen.

Well I dnt have this phone but my cuzin does and she finds it very easy to use NEVER any problems she took loads of pix on it since she got it and the music player has a nice pair of quality speakers an the memory seems to be very big which is good for her wide range of songs!:) Lovely casing too

Ive had this phone for almost 6 months now and im disapointed, The touch screen is incredibly annoying as is the default message tones thats you cant change. Your text message capacity is tiny as well so you constantly have to delete you inbox/outbox and to top it off the Battery Life is crap. That said the phone has proved to be rather robust as its still working dispite being left in the washing machine twice - not bad. Its a nice weight aswell so you know its in your pocket and its not bad looking. But no i wouldnt by it again

I Got This Phone over year ago now and have had no Major problems apart from 1. REALLY BAD BATTERY LIFE ! 2. The Camera Is OK 3. The Touch Buttons Are SO ANNOYING ! Like Youll be looking through photos and youll click the next arrow and theres a pause , so you click it again and jumps along like 3 photos :S But Other than that the phone is incredibly shexy and just the right size (: Get It If Youre Looking for a phone that Isnt Too Complicated and is easy to use- Perfect for a first time phone!

I've had this phone for over a year now and it had been great except for small battery life until a few months ago. Its been turning off when im texting and even if i had full charge it would cut out every min or 2. really disserponting! :(

I've had this phone for just about a year. Guess what. It broke last week. If i were honest, i wouldn't recommend it to you. It has a very bad battery life and the screen gets scratched very easily. The touch keys play up and the applications are ok. I don't really like this mobile to be fair.

the buttons are 2 hard to push when txtin it gives me cramp in my thumbs and im only 17 so its not artheritus........... also when out in the cold the buttons stiffin. i also had the problem of the "white screen" where the screen would just go white overall rubbish phone......camera looks as if someones just taken all the colours and smudged them across the screen.

There are a million things I could talk about in hate but i only had timr for afew: Firstly I did buy that phone in 2007 and now it is 2009 and there are better phones available. Although I do not have any songs on it if I did then I could only hold 10!! Which isn�t very good. It gets covered in finger prints and scratches which isn�t very attractive so when my friends ask to look at it and go �Wow this phone is covered in marks!� I get very embarrassing! The camera only zooms about 10 cm�s closer to the object so if I am overseas and want to take a picture of say me outside the Sydney Opera House I would only look like an ant! You can only turn it off and on if it is slid up and it has very bad reception EVEYWHERE I go! Not only in the house. You cant take pictures or videos if it isn�t slid up so if you need to take a picture quickly what actually happens is when you slide it up it goes back to the start menu which can be very frustrating. The battery life doesn�t last long and whenever someone calls it either says �New Call or Unknown number� which isn�t very useful if you ant to call someone back BECAUSE IT DOES�NT GIVE YOU THE NUMBER!! my phone was covered in scractches, i saw that they included the phone charm/cleaner so i put it on NOT A GOOD IDEA the phone charm s=wung around leaving bigger scratches than before! A complete rip off, dont waste your time and money! Im so glad im getting rid of the nightmare!

I had this phone for two and a bit years and it has only just started to break (the screen freezes and sometimes it switches off during a text or call). It is the most stylish phone I have seen around. I don't bother with the camera or mp3 player as I own much better ones of both, but as a phone I found it generally good. Reception was occasionally a bit iffy. Texting was sometimes difficult as the predictive text has a small memory and won't let you alter words once you have written them. The other problem was that you can't select and delete texts in bulk - it's either one by one (a painstaking process as it takes you back to the beginning each time) or delete them all. Which, if you're sentimental like me, is quite annoying. Otherwise - it has been a sleek and stylish companion for two years!

I Bought this phone last year its still in quite good shape !! But be wary u CANT have a screen saver what I was disapointed about !! And it easily scraches soo dont put phone charms or anything like that or u will get a scratched up phone !! It is a handy little phone !!

Absolutely RUBBISH! when i first got it, it was ok.. but then after a few months, the picture quality got worse and worse. everytime i took 2/3 photos. it would hav a low battery and would need charging again! and the same for the mp3. it would take 2/3 songs before it would need charging again. My screen got scratched veryy easily, it has NO MEMORY! i had that phone for 2 years, and im so glad i have a new one! ii DO NOT RECCOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE ! Ok? But i do reccommed the nokia 5310 express music ! think before buying ;] x

I really dont like this phone, i had so many problems with it and wasnt happy, it froze about 4 times a day and i hate it. i cant stand the annoying touch screen which stopeed working for a couple of hours and the manual told me nothing about how to fix this problem. i am not happy and i am going to buy a new phone. not lg, samsung are so much better.

It WAS great when I bought it. Camera is awful nowadays [Obviously] But was cool then, sometimes I hate how technology runs so fast! Yesterday we had radio, now we have tv and cellphones, then we're gonna hovercrafts and awesome stuff. Battery life was very long lasting when I bought it, but now, I only have a year with this cellphone and my battery only lasts 2-3 days maximum! It lacks of memory :( Only 512 MB? GOSH! It's a nice phone anyway

I had 3 of these phones i liked it that much. It holds a reasonable amout of songs - round 27 -. The Pink colour is bright and A really girly colour . The only thing what let it down is the fact that it cant hold a memory card . Its a small And very useful phone . I would totally recommend it ~! But the volume isnt that loud on songs , The camera is good .

I am a person who owns an LG chocolate and my advice on anyone getting it is dont it is rubbish. the buttons wear out when you touch them too much. you cant have it out in the rain because you arent allowed to get the buttons wet. the mp3 is good it also looks good but very hard to keep clean and it scratches easisly so you should just get a normal simple phone..

This phone is one of the worst phones i have ever ownned. The MP3 player would only hold 4 songs and cut them off about 20 seconds into each song. The pictures and videos could only store 1. the keys kept breaking and the slide kept on breaking. I am on the samsung G800 now. much better =] if you want a good phone that WORKS-dont buy this one!

I got this phone over 6 months ago. It was beautiful and shiny when it was new but now It is completely covered in scratches. Ive never found out how to do the contacts picture thing which is a bit annoying but it's a great idea. The memory is brilliant it can hold over 25 songs & 1000 contacts without a memory card. Its easy to pop into your pocket. Another let down is that the slider gets lose after some time. It has no loud speaker but do you need it??? The phone will ultimatley appeal to those who need the basics but with a good look to it.

Got the phone a year a go and i am very dissapointed by the battery life. I need to charge it almost every day and i hardly use it at all. Even if i charge it the same day, it shows less bars of battery the next morning, even if phone has only been left on for a few hours. Overall, getting a newer phone with better battery life as LG Chocolate battery is aweful.

This phone is great to start with! The Song space is good although it depends on how big the song is so you can either get loads at one time or not many. Camara is fantastic for a 1.3mp! I found everything brill for the first year then just recently it has really let me down! My usb wont connect to the phone or computer, the charger wont either unless u pull it out slightly. My battery lasts about a minute off the charger which is usless! buy this phone if your gunna be gettin another one within a year if not then dont buy it! part from tht gr8 phone.

I used to have the of chocolate I had it for a year but in the end I found the touch pads annoying sure they look nice and glow but some they just get you to the point of wanting to smash the thing with a hammer on a good note I found the mp3 memorie rather good I had up to 60 songs all without using a memorie card which amased me.the battery could be better because using it to check the time can mean you need to charge it up within 3 days.the body of the phone is actually quite tough my freind drop it of his balcony onto his decking the 30m up and the only damage was a Amal scratch on the side.but over all I would say it's a pretty reliable phone I would reccomend to everyone.

An very handy and attractive looking phone. I like the glow at nights, but features and key pads are difficult to see in the sunlight. It works best in the shade, poorly lighted areas, and at nights. This negative feature is most disturbing and frustrating. I have no problems with the touch feature as some reviewers do. It is one of the things I like best about the phone. I have the lg chocolate and because it has been discontinued, i bought it from ebay. I think that it is the best phone ever and i cannot believe how good it is. Every day, i wake up and say 'I have an lg chocolate!' because i love it so much. If anyone is considering buying the lg chocolate, do it. It will be the best decision of your life.

This is a decent phone, pretty basic mind. It not very fragile which is good, but i does seem to scratch easily. Good camera. The touch screen is quite annoying like, but that's just my opinion. What annoyed me was that there was a images folder and picture folder! It was annoying because on one of them you could press the side button and it would flick through them, but on the other it couldn't. Same with the music, on one folder, you could blue tooth, and the other you couldn't. If your looking for a basic music phone, this is good.

I got this fone bout 2 years ago and it hasn't let me yet. Battery is wearing thin and runs out vry quickly. Also don't like the bad reception the fone recives e.g shows 5 bars but no signal. Got this phone a year ago . Sent it back twice and still doesnt work . The battery life i really short , only a day or two and memory is reli low with room to store only abt 50 messages in one go . The phone looks amazing and very stylish however gets covered in fingerprint really quickly, I'm afarid i wouldnt reckonmend this phone enless desprate at under �30.

Good enough phone, camera is ok, pretty bog standard tbh. Has good enough memory, can fit around 27 songs on it...the annoying problem however is how it switches itself off a lot and runs out of battery quite quickly. Touch screen is good, no problems with that. Basically its a good phone, not much problems with it apart from it switching itself off, but thats easy enough to live with apart from when you want to text someone and it switches off halfway through.....

I have had my LG for a while and the touch buttons have now broken and it takes ages to get them to work. The screen also messes up occationally and it takes a while to sort itself out. Other than that the phone has worked well until recently.

This phone was great for a few months but by six months the battery life was awful and the exterior of the phone was chipped and the screen was scratched (and I was careful with it!) All that said, I was pleased with the sound quality and it's easy to use as well as being attractive. However, not sure I would buy an LG product again

This is a good phone to purchase if you just want something small and stylish. I owned this LG Chocolate for over a year and it did just what I wanted. I could make calls easily, and recieve texts. I had no problem with reception. Plus had no problem hearing people, but I did have to move my phone away from my mouth when I was speaking because friends used to tell me that they couldn't hear me clearly. (muffled) I must say however that the Camera was a bit poor at 1.3mp but that didn't really bother me that much. I still took some good photos and uploaded them into my computer. Charging and Battery life not a problem used to keep the phone on 24hrs a day (charge at night) never did I have a low battery. As for scratching I agree if you dont use the cover it will sustain screen scratch damage, I caused a few scratches on the screen but that was just wear and tear. MP3's no problem I uploaded about 20-25 songs, and also some useful ringtones. I do agree with other rev iews that if its in your pocket it is hard to hear, but using the vibration it helped alot. Texting, no problem, and the Touch sensative pads were easy to use, you just had to get used to them for a few days. Overall its a great phone if you want something slim, small and stylish. I would recommend it should you be contemplating on buying one, but would suggest that you try before you buy.

This phone have a smexy look, those who say that dropping it on floor are wrong.. i droped it on 2m and it still work, and have no scratch, the batterie last me for about 4day, fast to charge... Camera is good, the touch pad isn't too sensitive, just good! Seriously, this cell is pro! Could have more memory and 2mp camera tought... But overall, i love it!

Its a good phone when it works, I had mine for just under a year when I decided I couldnt stand it any longer. The battery life is shocking! It will say that it has full battery, but then if you type 3 consecutive texts, or listen to more than 15 seconds of music, it will say low battery and turn itself off. If you then turn it back on after about 5minutes, it will say the battery is full when its not! Also the shine wears off easily. I dont recomend unless you are somebody who wants a stylish phone and changes your phone very often.

This phone is gorgeous. I've had it for a few months now and I LOVE it! The battery life is ok, since it saves power when you keep it on but slide it down. The camera is very good for 1.3 megapixels, as I took it to a dog show and the picture was brilliant! The zoom is useful as well. Once you get the hang of it, getting songs on is easy. The ring is very loud (it scares the life outa me) compared to my mum's Samsung e250, which she can't hear. LG says there is no speakerphone, but it is so loud! It does need cleaning alot, but it's totally worth getting the best out of the looks. The predictive text is amazing too, very precise and quick. This is my second phone (first Motorola V220, i think) and I'm stuck on LG! The phone I want next is An LG Venus. Totally desirable phone, great for out and about and the style fits in every where. Brill. 10/10 LG!

I purchased this phone in pink, shortly after my BF purchased it in black.. My old phone (nokia) had finally given up and the keypad had stopped working, so the LG chocolate seemed very appealing to me at the time, it had MP3 player, touch sensitive buttons...and it was pink! It was good for a while, the speaker sounds good (amazingly so compared with my friend's new Samsung with a fold out speaker!) it can hold quite a few songs and we've got a few vids on there too. Pity the battery life won't let us view them anymore!! Quite frankly, and we joke about this on a regular basis when I get angry and try to smash the screen in (that's one positive - it's a bloomin' sturdy phone!) LG seem to have made this phone with the intention of frustrating whoever purchases one. The signal is crap, the sound quality (because the microphone is hidden - no opening) is awful when ringing someone or leaving a message, the battery life is terrible and the phone switches itself off at any opportunity (especially when you've set an alarm for a very important meeting the next day!) The phone, once it's run out of battery, saves no reserve. On my nokias, if the phone died, you could still switch it on for long enough to make an emergency call! Not with this! The camera is not bad, but definately not what I would call amazing....or good. The phone itself is very complicated, eg you have to go through the options for pictures, select the 72x72 size and take the picture for a phonebook photo.. This pretty much sums up everything, it's not that easy to navigate and made overly complicated (thus why we reckon the designers are plotting against buyers of the LG Chocolate)... I wouldn't recommend it, but I have developed a certain fondness for it: The things I do like; the slide, very nice, smooth, makes me feel better to click it up and down when the phone makes me angry. Love the little noises it makes when you do this, makes a 'choo choo' noise when the battery runs flat (though this can get annoying when it's doing it every day...). MP3 player is good, never had a phone with MP3 player so it's a bit of a novelty, I do like it...don't use it that much though... PINK! That says it all really. Bright flash, suitable for use as a torch, though it does switch itself off after a very short while...what's the point?? Overall, it's flawed. Very flawed. A phone that switches itself off, gets signal then as you send a message, waits for 10 minutes until a point where it hasn't got signal and can beep at you angrily?! Not amazing. Pretty, nice feel to it, but the design of the phone itself (aesthetics aside) is awful really. And that battery, urgh.

when had that phone i though it was amazing but not even 3 hours later the 0 turned into a 5 and after a vieuw weeks the battery broke so u had to hold it tight if un wanted to turn it on or do somefin else and the battery went well bad and the flash is very use full in night pics and the mp3 is good it holds about 30 songs it would be better with a memory card i like the style with the red lights and stuff but i would nevaa buy it aggain !!!!!

Simply compress your mp3 files so that they aren't bigger than 2mb each and you would have enough space for 60 songs. Quality doesn't make much of a difference on a phone. You won't notice the contrast. Bit annoyed there's no memory card slot though.

this phone is about the biggest waste of time and money--we had our first one and the charging port went out on it so we had it replaced(no big deal,right)2 months later the charging port went out on the new one--in the last week we have had three different phones sent to us all with the same problem the only thing i can recommend with this phone is DON'T BUY IT--it would be the same as throwing your money in the garbage

i got this phone last year and it was great at firs, then i realised its many faults. A very poor camera with a pathetic zoom, hardly any memory (can fit only 20 songs and about 40pics) touch screen is very sensative (accidental calling) small text ammount (120) and it scratches very easily, the battery is very confusing because when you drop it the battery level goes up or down & it could be fully charged and have 2 bars. i wouldny reccomend it! x

Whats this...you can store around 30 songs...RUBBISH! I have 11 songs...all under 4mins and all my memory is used up! The keys are really over-sensitive. The only thing i like about the phone is that it looks quite nice...especially in black which i have. i wouldnt bother with this phone if i were you.

This phone is really great and some people find it hard to use the touch keypad but in my opinion it was easy to use, good camera,but memory is not that big. Only reason why I upgraded was because the screen broke inside and the ink ran and you could't see anything i tryed to fix it but i just made it worse, also my friend had this phone and the same thing happened to her. Other than that its a great phone.

its an amazing looking phone i had one and i thought it was very good but not brilliant it broke on me after 4 months even though i had kept it in good condition. the big let down on it is the memory it would have been a lot better if there was a memory card slot

Im 13 and have this phone in white I got it 4 xmas last year and havent had a problem with it except memory. And teenage boys in high school if you want this phone dont get it! You get skitted at school coz its a 'girls phone'

i've had the LG Chocolate for nearly 2 years (this christmas), at first it was a good quality phone but over time it's quality has been quite poor. The keypad doesn't always work, particulary the '0'. The touch keys can drive you crazy and the battery life is very poor. Also it turns off randomly even when having a poor battery, so by the time you've written out your text with the keypad that doesn't work, it turns off without saving it and you have to do it all over again! Another point it the vibrate feature. I don't know about anyone else but mine has never worked. Also, the bluetooth takes ages to send, on my friend's phones they send a song to another person, it takes one minute, i send the same song and it literally takes 5!! There aren't many good points about this phone to be honest.

I really liked this phone it was great to use and lookd ded stylish. I had it for about three weeks and then it completely froze up switched itself off and won't turn bak on. Not going to waste time gettin another one so am gunna get the LG Venus coz that looks boss!

I got this phone about 6 months ago. Within the first two months or so it started not working as quick as it should and the camera, speakers and buttons started to not work properly. As it is a touch screen it does get very scratched pretty easily and becomes hard to see the menu etc after a while. My keypad is now broken and the back of the battery has started coming off. If i do want to text anyone as the '0' button doesn't work i have to use the arrow facing the right and as that is near the 'Cancel' button it often clears off the whole message. Every time i charge the phone it says: 'Battery Full' after about 10 minutes or so, probably less than that. The phone turns off when it wants to and when you turn it on and put in your pin it decides to start playing up. The standby time is about 4 hours also when the phone says it in fully charged it really isn't. I am on the phone quite a lot, playing games, talking to people, texting, taking pictures etc and the battery runs out within the space of about half an hour. IF YOUR LUCKY!!! In my opinion don't get the phone if you want it to last for a year or two. Just get the phone as a spare, or just a phone if your waiting to get a better one. You get more for your money on a LG KP500 (Cookie), thats a 3mega pixel camera and has music player etc. Many Thanks.

This phone is briliant but the bluetooth is very very slow! And I have had this phone for more than a year and i still cant figure out how to download songs from the PC! But expect for that this phone is very handy and cool. But can get easioly damaged

ive had this phone for over a year and have had ni probs with it untill...a month ago there was this black licwid in the inside o the screen and now my phone is totally black in the as the licwid has spred all over it and now it wont even turn on , therefore i woudent reccomend this phone but i will give it a good rationg as it wa ok for a year

This phone is the worst.... the bottons are to sensitive and it has very little memory. I got this phone a few months ago and I can hardly use it, I'd rather use my old phone and it's one of Nokia's first ever BRICK, NON-COLOUR SCREEN!!! That's how much I hate this phone!!!!!!!!!!!!

My sister had this phone for 7 months and it stopped re-charging. Carphone Warehouse stated that the fault was irrepairable "charge pads detached from PCB". They are strongly insinuating that the phone must have been dropped, WHICH IT CATEGORICALLY HASN'T! Carphone Warehouse refuses to replace. We are currently pursuing with LG, the manufacturers. This phone was really good when I just got it but after about a year it broke.Firsly the part where the battery cable connects into the phone became too loose so it didnt charge. After getting a new battery and headset the phone started freezing and it wouldnt charge.Plus when I turnt the phone on the touch sensetive buttons didnt work or they kind of swapped places. For me a phone where I can listen to music and maybe take a few good pictures and a phone that looks good and a phone that I could actually comunicate through is a phone that is good for me but this phone looked good worked for a while but broke eventually and couldnt hold that many songs.I also think that LG could of been more creative with the sms ringtones and maybe if they were more louder it would of made life much easier for me.Basically the faults of the phone was #1 that the touch sensitive buttons stopped working after a year #2 the phone kept on freezing #3 the phone didnt charge and also I would like to also tell you that mostly all LG phones have poor battery and I am sure many people will disagree with what I have written. My advise to new buyers would be to only buy this phone if you plan on using it for a short term but do not buy if you are a kind of person who keeps and uses phones for a long time I wish I had waited for it to get cheaper before I bought it because it wasnt worth the money I got it for. The functions of this phone is not so great either if you want to listen to music on your phones then get a walkman phone or if you want to take cool pictures on your phone then get a cybershot phone this phone only looks good and is good for a few songs and average talking it isnt as good as some reviews well most actualy but people have written reviews on this after using it for a few months,use it for a year then come back and write something and see what comes out. GET THIS PHONE IF YOU DONT REALY CARE ABOUT FUNCTIONS OF A PHONE JUST THE WAY IT LOOKs!!!! I hope this helped!!!!

I bought an LG chocolate at the begining of this year. I wish I hadn't! I have had many problems with it: 1. Touch sensitive buttons not working 2. Photos not saving 3.buttons falling off In the end it completly stopped working and wouldn't turn on. I sent it back to the manufacturars and they asked me if I wanted a replacment... I said no. I have since bought an LG Shine... Its the best phone i've ever had. No problems, its sleek, its stylish and it easy to use !

I got an LG in pink just over a year ago and i've loved it. I normally get bored with the mobiles i've had in the past but not this one. In the beginining i found it annoying and tricky trying to call someone because i kept acidently pressing the touch sensative buttons and cutting people off but apart from that it's awesome. I love the colour and the memory is fine. Not massive but will hold quite a lot. :)

i would NOT recommend this phone as from day 1 i have had problems. the camera is poor quality the battery life is no where near the 200 hours stand by time stated it is lucky if it lasts 24 hours stand by the back light doesnt not go off and this is also a problem why the battery is constantly running out. i have sent it back and it still isnt in working order. it gets scratched easy. and the maximum amount of texts is 150 for both inbox and outbox so a total of 300 and at 137 a box appear saying that your memory is almost full and at 145 is pops up saying you can only receive texts. i could go on and on but ill stop there.

The phone may look good but it turns itself off and crashes. The screen srathes easily. The touchpad buttons don't always work - you need to press a number button to wake it up. When my phone is fully charged if I phone someone the battery will have died withing 10 minutes, and I'm honestly not exagerating. I honestly can't wait to get a new phone. And I'll never go back to LG

I have been an owner of a LG Chocolate to three months now and im quite happy with it, it is stylish but because it is a touch screen you get finger prints on it quite easily and the arrows are quite sensitive. The one thing that drives me nuts is when someone is calling me i keep accidently pressing the END CALL button on the right hand side were I pick it up and slide it open, another thing that annoys me about this phone is the although it has a generious 128MB of memory the British version does not have a SD slot. All in all if you want a low budget sleek looking phone go for this one!

Rubbish phone. Has terrible connection and often cuts out during conversations... Very irritating. Scratches easily and is really slow when using bluetooth. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!! You will be dissapointed... I was.

Really stylish phone. Vibrant and rich colors. Useability is really good. you can store most used numbers for sending sms. True scratches easily but have its cover on! The speaker got messed up after some time, but i got it fixed so that problem is also solved... Loved the phone!!!

i loved having this phone, it has a great camera and it looks lovely. However, after about 9 months, the screen kept freezing and kept going white. In the end i gave up so i went back to my old phone. It was also not only me who had this problem. About 4 of my friends also had this phone at the same time as me. All of the resulting in problems. But one of my friend still has hers 2 years later. But yeah, overall i loved having it, but it got too much of a pain :(

Nice Looking Phone..You can give it that. It does the basics, taks ok pictures for the camera quality, has good sound, i think it's pretty easy to use. However, this phone can bring upon some bad luck. I had it around 6 months...and just like other people..received a bug! annoying? you bet. the screen went white. the camera went green :S all very strange. After ALOT of phone calls,, someone fixed it for me. had it 18 Months now, and no problems since then :D..i can say..all in all, its a pretty good phone :)

I have had this phone for a year now, and it is definatly not a phone i would recommend if you intent on having it a long time. Mines turns itself off, stalls, and when texting it turns itself off on an avrage of 6 times before being able to finsh and send the text. However, it is a nice phone but not if you like to keep phones for a while it is not worth the money.

Had my LG chocolate now for almost 2 years. It looks great but I've been incredibly disappointed with mine :( Camera is not good. Texting is laborious. For the whole of this years it's been going through phases of switching itself off for no apparent reason. It just did so again, only this time it won't switch on again and was fully charged just this morning. Think it's time to go back to Nokia.............

I av dis phone and 2 be honest its not as good as it looks. The screen scratches easily and The touch screen is too sensitive. The camera and video camera is poor.The voice recorder dosnt pick up very well. It can only take certain mp3 songs...So u cnt gurantee u will be able 2 get your fav.song The only good thing is when the buttons light up and its quite slim. This phone is ok if u want a basic phone for texting, ringing, ocasional pics and a few random songs. No good if u want a modern flash phone with all the gadgets. By the way i have the black one...but for christmas i will probaly get rid of it!

the Lg chocolate is a really bad touch sensitive phone that if you drop it it will scratch really easly. if you are considering buying it you should test about 10 times as you are sure to get annoyed with having a touch screen. if when you have a phone call you wish to hold it up to your face it will turn off your call instandly because of its touch screen. the camara is really bad as the flash dosent work and the cost of calls is stupid. aful fone. save your monney, donet buy it.

I hate this phone. period. battery is absolutely terrible will only last one day. reception is very very poor. texting is slow and awkward. trust me, its remarkabley slow. I guess it might look sleek and cool to a girl that never calls or texts anyone.. I can't wait to get rid of the thing!

The worst phone I have ever had! Writing text messages is a nightmare - the spell function doesn't work quickly enough and it doesn't replace the word you were trying to spell. Switching from lower to upper case is crazy - and it won't automatically switch to upper case after a full stop. The biggest joke is that if you turn the phone off the alarm won't go off! It's quite tough though - I have thrown it at the wall in anger many times and it still works, unfortunately. Back to Nokia I think.

I admit that this is a nice looking phone - not too bad. But I agree, the buttons are so annoying! and the memory - only around 150 SMS allowed to be stored! I eever get any signal, and its not my network, because it worked fine on my old phone. You can definitely buy better phones, at alomst the same price. NEVER BUY A TOUCH PHONE!

I hesitated a lot between LG KG800 and Samsung D600 until I finally bought LG Chocolate. Big mistake. The most fatal part of this phone is that if I don't put this phone to a specific part of my ear, then I can hardly hear anything whenever I'm on the phone. I really should've gone for D600. Now, I've had this phone for nearly 2 years and sometimes, this phone switches off itself with no good reason. My old Samsung A300 lasted for four years before it began to do the same thing.

My husband and I both have Chocolates. They're cool phones, but I don't love mine. They're not "texting" phones, and the sensor buttons on the front are incredibly sensitive. It drives me crazy sometimes. My husband has gone through four brand new chocolate phones in 3 months. Even though he carries his phone in a holder, the screen has cracked on every single phone he's had. They're very delicate.

I have had this phone for a while now. Probably a year. No problems. It's a nice looking phone with a built in camera, music player and video recorder. It has a calculator and other useful objects so it's quite handy. The touch buttons look very nice but are probably a bit too sensitive. I would recommend it!

Phone fails miserably....sent back to lg 5 times for repair, its currently sitting on my desk, the main slider is broken - its not going for repair again. it can go die.

it is a very good phone and i find it very easy to use. but my meomery is not that good but i had heard that it has a great meomery and even when i brought it the shop seller said it has a great meomery but it didnt have a good meomery how i expected it to be. but it is a very outstanding phone.

Ive had this phone for some time now and i havnt been happy with it since i bought it. Looks good (i have it in bright pink) but scratches and chips very easily. It freezes alot. It randomly does things when you are not evn touching it, like mines will scroll down all my contacts for ages without me nowing resulting in the battery not lasting so long. the camera is good during the day ouside but inside its not and night it is not any good. the light on it is pathetic! its only any good if u r going in really close to tthe thing you are taking a picture of! Would of been far better if it was a flash! And after a while the touch buttons begin to not work very well. In my opinion its memory isnt very good either so would benefit from a memory card. my advise do not buy it! :)

I have this phone its proper AmaZZZingg the camera is brilliant and the mp3 can hold loads of songs.. i deffo recomend it.. its dead sleek and stylishh..TopRAngeThisIs.and those of yew hu like to change fones often .. i do but i havent got sick of this 1 yett!!!!!xx

I hate this phone. I have had it for a year so I am in a good podition to judge and I can officially say it's terrible. Let's look at the evidence. Things my phone does: 1.Looks cheap and tacky 2.Cuts out in the middle of calls 3.Randomly turns off when fully charged 4.Stalls and Freezes at the letter "N" in the address book Things my phone doesn't do: 1.Get good reception 2.Allow you to use predictive text properly. (You can't go back and highlight words and ammend them using predictive text once you have hit space and started typing a new word) 3.Take anything remotely close to a decent picture.

Just got 2 say this is like the worst phone ! It drives me crazy ! First of all, it scratches very easily it scratches in just ur normal pockets or wotever. And the silver paint round the edge peels off and turns white aswell, really quickly. Not enough memory - dont have that many songs and there not that long and can store barely anything ! Awful battery life - I leave my phone 2 charge during the night and in the morning i switch it back on and it says battery full. Then my friend tries sending me sumthink via bluetooth and starts flashing with no battery left ?? !! Also sometimes i switch my phone on and all my contacts have disappeared, so i switch it back on again and there back on ?? DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE, WASTE OF MONEY !!

It's a phone for style over practicality. - You can't hear anything when calling people. - Signal is shite, though that might be more to do with network - No great features - Memory sucks for songs, holds about 25. - Sound quality is crap - Battery life is very bad, lasts about 2 days used normally - Camera isn't the best - Touchpad is v. sensitive and i always accidentally call people because of it.. wasting a lot of credit :| ALTHOUGH... - Looks great

I would say buy this phone because It's a great phone because of the look and style of it and it has great features and the lights are brilliant. Camera is awesome! Best camera i've had on a phone. But dont buy it, if you wil get fed up of it always cutting off when you are in the middle of texting someone or jus cuts off through the day. The phone gets al fingerprints over it and you can easily drop it because it's very slippery. Also I find with my phone when I'm in middle of texting someone the touch buttons stop workin so I can't finish my text off nd have to re-write it all again. Think carefully before you buy this phone..

I got this fone 3 months ago and im not impressed at all the keypad is sometimes delayed and the bluetooth takes for ever to download a song. The fones memory is poor and im always having to delete things like pictures to make space for something else. Build quility is very poor it rattles like a tin can. I now cant even get any music on the fone as it does not support anything anymore. On the plus side the fone looks good but looks nothing like a bar of chocolate.

Great phone, love the design, cameras good enough for me, seeing as it isnt actually a camera, am annoyed that it gets covered with fingerprints so easily, but i like the touch buttons and dont have that many songs so the limited space doesnt bother me, its just a good excuse for why i dont have 300 phone s on there! and btw u can set a tone for when u recieve a text, u just need to go onto the profiles and personalize them

I have this phone had it since september last year (2007) and i liked it at first put i dont like it now because it scratches easily and it allways turns off on me and freezes when ever it wants and sometimes when you ring people you can not hear them and the signal isnt very good on vodafone anyways enough of this phone getting a new phone soon Nokia N95 (silver) so hopefully this phone will be a lot better than the LG Chocolate. I wouldnt recomended this phone because its not very good

i had this phone since christmas and was slightly disapointed, i could never take photos that werent dark and could only fit on about 10 songs to the mp3. It got stolen a few days ago and i dont think i will get this one again, i was stuck between this and a sony ericsson w300i (which 2 of my friends have) and chose this one because of its apperance but regret it now, i would like to be able to change the themes, have different ringtones for different contacts, be able to set mp3 songs as ringtones, have more memory for; photos, videos and songs, because i often dont have time to download them onto the laptop before i go out again. I dont think it is fair to say it is rubbish, the apperance is great, the sound is pretty good for the few songs you have on it and the pc connection is amazing.

This phone is OK. I nearly had a fit today 'cause I tried to send my friend a text in a good signalled area, but it kept switching off! Also the ringtone quality is rubbish (I chose 'ring and vibrate' and the phone vibrates reasonably well but the ringtone takes about 30 seconds to play), the battery life is VERY poor, the camera quality can be rubbish at times, and the bluetooth file transfer is very SL-LO-OW. Nonetheless, this phone is the one I've kept the longest out of four so I'm quite content with my LG. However, I feel it won't be long until I will begin thinking about getting a new phone.

i think this phone is RUBBISH with a captial R its toutch screen brings it down the most,especially when you're trying to take a picture! you can only hold 30 songs which i think is extreamly low for the amount of songs it could hold,plus it scratches so easily and oyu always get fingerprints all over it! but that was my opinion,differant people have differant opinions but i'll rate this V.Poor

hi- i dont really like this phone i got is for my birthday and i fell for it's charming looks but after a few months it started to get boring. if you want to listen to music you can only listen for about 30 mins untill battry gose (same with camara) any you can only hold about 20 songs in there and there isnt even a memory card slot. if you are stylish then i would recommed this phone for its good looks but dont buy it is you want a phone that you can acctually do stuff on. :) i woul reccomend the SE s500i great phone people say the key crack but i have no probz with it it is great:):):):):):):):):):):):)

Listen, this is really n-o-t a good phone! I have used it for exactly a year now and two key on the keypad are missing, the screen freezes occasionally, the camera is rubbish, the song memory is very sad. i really hoped more from this phone since is was being advertised everywhere. people can say its the greatest phone every but its their opionion if you want a trustworthy opinion then im telling you now. Dont get this phone. Spend your money on something so much more worth it!

Okay, when this first came out I thaught great an LG phone with passion but when I tested it I thaught oh dear, same old slide, not much difference, the touch pad is the only thing the LG have made new even though is a copy of the samsung E950. Bascily I would not get excited over it, just let it melt and move on!

Got this phone for Christmas, unfortunately left it in my trouser pocket and put it in the washing machine - water stuck behind the screen now =[ It scratches easily and me and my sister didn't recieve a pouch to keep it in. battery life is very low and will run out quickly if playing songs. Ear phones broke quickly too. Camera quality is very good and managed ot hold up to 100 + photos at a time! Missing my phone lol =[

i hav had this phone for nearly a year and cant wait to get a new one! LG chocolate is acctrative but the worst phone i ever had, it often turns it self off or freezes. i dont reccomend it and it scratches soo easily. After a month of having my phone the number keypad stopped lighting up so i cant use it in the dark anymore! The camera is ok but nothing specail and the speaker is very tinny and fuzzy. Overall this phone is bad but would be ok as a first phone because it is simple to use.

I've had this phone for about a year and a half now, and it's still going strong. I don't know why people say it breaks easily... the only thing that mine has aquired is a few scratches on the main screen. Love the camera- although the time it takes to take a picture is 1-3 seconds. Using the MP3 player seems to run down my battery life a lot, and i have to charge mine every night, but then i've had mine a long time so the battery has probably got worse over time. overall, a good phone. i'm only changing phones now because of the scratches!

ive had this phone for about a year, it was ok although VERY slow to text (lags a lot), not much choice of message tone, awful battery life, not good camera or memory etc but looks nice which kind of makes up for it. however, about a month ago the screen broke, started going white whenever i slid it open, i kept having to turn it off and on again. just after this, the touch screen buttons half broke and today they are completely broken so i cannot use the phone at all - can't access the menu, text or make phone calls. not happy!

This phone is misery - the beauty impact fades rapidly after eight weeks, leaving only a disgruntled feeling that this phone has a mind of it's - freezing, stalling, lame battery life (after eight months down to a day max), poor camera, infuriating touch screen and an alarm that requires the phone to be on to function (-what?!). Don't know a single person who hasn't regretted getting it. Don't recommend - thought it is very small, and light.

when i first got the phone i thought it was great now i have had it a year its not so great i have treated it very well but the touch screen has started to wear off and i find it a pain that it only holds a 135 messages. also the battry is verry poor you can send a few messages and listern to a song before the battrey is dead. think twice about getting it gemm

I've had this phone for about 2 months now.. More dissapointing then I would've thought. Battery power is very poor, charging goes quickly but then again the time it takes for it to be empty again is quick too. It also damages very easy. I have it in my pocket without anything else in it, and I already have some dead pixels.. after 2 months. Also, which sometimes annoys me, is indeed, the keys are too sensetive sometimes. So if you have pretty big fingers, like me, you tend to press the wrong key from time to time. Also, the lack of upgrading your memory dissapointed me. Also too bad you can't change your sms tone, 'cause the default one is annoying. Don't know if it's my phone or just the Chocolate in general, but my 7, 8, and 9 keys have some trouble in working some times. I press them and nothing happens. 5 minutes later, they work perfectly fine again. Awkward if you go back to the shop with it and it seems to be working perfectly fine. Other then that, good looking phone, transfering stuff back and forth to it goes fast, and hey, the pictures are good for a 1.3 MP camera. Only thing is I found it a bit hard to get to know the tricks of the camera at the beginning. Also another let down, it scratches very easily, and you also see fingerprints on it if you touch it even once.

i bought this phone last year. within a day the pait work had pealed off. now my phone is scratched. the other day my phone was in my bag and it was raining. i switched on my phone and the display wasn't working. a day before it was working. i would not recommend buying this phone. it is very cheap quality

This phone is very good for the amount of money you pay for it. It's very stylish and suitable to fit into small pockets. It does get fingerprints on it easily but why get a touch screen phone and expect it to not get dirty quickly? It's simple and easy to use with easy navigation options and is cleverly built - when the phone is closed there is no worries of it suddenly connecting to the internet or dialing someone in Tibet as it automatically locks, though you still can use the phone without opening it by pressing a certain button on the side twice. The only problem I found with it is when you are texting, you have to press the buttons quite hard and quickly before it goes to the next letter - literally that is the only problem I have had with it. It's cheap, stylish, light and small and I thoroughly recommend this phone.

I've had this phone for abot 3 months now and i still do like it lots, however the battery life is extremly poor, some times only lasting one or two days ON STANDBY! it looks beautiful but it scratches so easily. i wish i hadn't bought this phone. i'm going for a nokia 5300 or a nokia 6300 as soon as this one dies which i don't think will be long as the battery life is getting stadily worse.it lasts for ten minuites on bluetooth from a full charge so just DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!

The l.g phone is fantastic i have the pink chocolate sometimes it drives me crazy when you want to play music the battery runs low instantly but it's still fun having it.and it's a great gift for anyone at all they come also in black very dark brown or lilac well i would tell you more but have to go.

when I saw this phone I loved it its very nice stylish and everything but then it kept on freezing the screen went blank after a couple of months the battery life is awful I think cause you have to charge it all the time the memory isnt that much the screen (I like the colors) but you need to get use to the touch screen tough. Secondly, you can't do 2 things at the same time . but overall I think the phone is nice and quite good in some ways but it isnt all that

This phone is a pirce of #@@#@@@ (you can think!) Everything is good but only one thing is bed and it is bettery , it dies so fast. Also the touch screeen is too sencitive and done not have option to move function around. No memmory ectention. Calander and organizer is like U are handling a rocket seience. If U want to put some one' picture in the address U have to take the picture in the amallest size , then onl y it will let u put in the address book. Never buy this phone

This phone came as part of my contract. I've been using it for over a week, during which time I've been able to make some observations and form some opinions. Here's the quick list: CONS: � Earpiece volume is way too low, even at full blast. I can often not hear the other party. � Bundled headphone/microphone does nothing to improve this. � Screen is barely visible in daylight. � Hypersensitive buttonless interface is extraordinarily frustrating to use. Note that I am not an ape; I am, in fact rather dexterous. � All-in-on headset / power / data port with flimsy proprietary connector is just begging to be broken. Want to charge the phone in the car and use a wired headset at the same time? Too bad! � Buttons on side of phone are tiny and hard to locate by feel. � Number keypad buttons are small and hard to dial accurately. Again, I am not ham-fisted. � Battery life sucks. � Phone sometimes crashes in music store app (which I arrived at accidentally due to hypersensitive touch interface). � Text message indicator never goes off (I've checked a million times. I have no kind of message waiting and no drafts or outgoing messages unsent). PROS: � It looks nice. Suffice it to say I'm highly unimpressed by this device. The design team sacrificed function on the altar of form, hardly uncommon these days, but not excusable. In terms of pure usability it is easily trounced by my ancient Nokia 3686i, which I've come to miss dearly. If you value baseline functionality over looks I would suggest avoiding this phone.

Well i've had the phone since Christmas and have only ever had one problem with it. I noticed that the bottom number keypad was not lighting up... at this time i had only had the phone for 3 1/2 months. So I took it back to phones 4 u the shop it was bought from. They sent the phone back to the manufacture without question. And then a week to ten days later my phone was delivered to my door by special delivery. Apart from that i've had no problems with this phone. People say that it's hard to control the touch screen pad but it really is quite easy and effortless... when you think about it, I suppose it does still take quite some getting used to. It has a good memory for text messages it can hold up to 150 messages at a time. and videos i haven't even reached the maximum! The camera is very clear... it also has a flash on it aswell (optional) mp3 I think you can store up to 25 music tracks in your mp3 player. This phone also comes with, earphones for the mp3 player. I love this phone, but there is one down side to it the touch screen does get very scratched & finger prints on it... Over all I would recommend this phone.

I have been using this phone for about 9 months now after my N73 kept crashing. Bought for 30 quid and has been one of the most reliable phones I have owned (especailly when I have been used to Nokias that like to restart themself). Signal strength on Orange is a big downfall to this, in areas where friends are getting several bars mine says "searching" plus the battery life is very poor, use it too often and it wont last a working day. Im giving it 3 stars because it is easy to use, good looking and does what it needs to. The only other problem I had was the touch screen being activated by my cheek during calls

its a great phone when you first get it and i have had no problems. But after a while it gets so boring to use! And i dunno why people are saying it breaks easily because i have dropped mine a few times and it has even been in the washing machine but it still works fine! Lol..

I love this phone, however, when you slid it down and what you were on went off was annoying, but useful at times tbh. When I got the phone, my friends warned me it would brake easily, and after 2 and a half months it did. It wouldn't charge, and the shop where I got it from tried to say I'd drew on it. How sad? But I still like the phone, and my new phone, the Walkman W580i, i love it, but it annoys the hell out of me tbh. x

Okay, when this first came out I thaught great an LG phone with passion but when I tested it I thaught oh dear, same old slide, not much difference, the touch pad is the only thing the LG have made new even though is a copy of the samsung E950. Bascily I would not get excited over it, just let it melt and move on!

I've got a LG KG800, also known as the LG Chocolate. Ive seen quite a few reviews about this phone, and most of them are very true. The touch sensitive keypad can be very annoying, unless you are very patient. The battery life is very poor, and the screen goes off every few seconds because it has an energy saving feature, but this can be terrible to work with. However, the actual phone looks amazing.

Ughh.. had a couple of good times with the phone. Then a couple of really bad times. Put it in my pocket and because of the touch sensitve screen. It used to make calls to everyone!!! People would call me back and ask if i had rung them up! Then it was the battery, lucky for me i got an extra battery with the phone. But just when it was okay to use the battery, the screen got messed up. It started to go all white! I could receive calls, dial if i remembered the person's number but could not see my messages. I used to be able to turn the phone off and then off, that would correct it, but then it stopped. I was told that it would take almost half what the phone costs to repair it! Also that there was no guarantee that the white death would not come back. I wish i hadnt given away my D500. And as my brother would say, yes the chocolate has melted.

i hate this phone witha a passion! where to start well txt messages you cant delete a group of txts its all or nothin im afraid, the buttons are oversensitive the camera is nowhere near the standards of the sony erricson, the software to download music from pc to phone is complicated and doesnt seem to work well wih windows vista to put it bluntly ive had it 2 months n im gettin rid!

i ave a lg chocolate phones ive had it for a few month and when i ring sum 1 wen im on the call to them its all crackly like there is no signal but when i look the signal is ok and gettin sick of it and also the touch sensitive buttons dont always work and when i slide the front up it sometimes doesnt register that ive slid it up and also no speakerphone b4 this phone i had a nokia a very basic one n that was fantastic wish is ave stuck with it to tell u the truthnow ive gotta take the phone bak to the shop i bought it from and they ave to send it off for repair n that means paying out money for a replacement phone to use while the other is being repaired :-(

This phone is very poor... it gets full of finger prints and the touch screen thingy is very annoying and some of my buttons on the key pad dont work properly it has very bad reception samsung phones are MUCH BETTER than LG phones i will be sticking to samsung in the future

I have had this phone for 2 years i havn't had a problem with it i have 20 videos, 87 photos and 28 songs great memory!!! i just find it a bit slow when texting and maybe press the wrong button but other than that great picture quality and great sound quality if you want a sleek, stylish and an all round good phone get this one!!!

I upgraded to this phone a while ago. when i first got it, i found the touchscreen very irritating... mp3 player and camera are OK... i may have had a one off, but the one i got was seriously bad lol.. it does what it wants, switching between screens, scrolling down menus etc.. VERY annoying when you are trying to write an important text! also, mine got scratched very quickly.

well, i think this phone is a stunner!!...but don't go getting to excited, because as the person said the buttons are not very good.(i do not own this phone i went on it in the shop b4 i bought my nokia 3250) also i think the material that it is made from could get very scratched and smuggy!! UGHHH!! Okay this phone LOOKS good, I like the whole slide thing, but I feel like there is no point in having it if you cant HEAR what people are saying on the other end of the line. If im going to make a phone call i need to make sure im in the quietest place ever possible. Absolutly FORGET walking down a main road and trying to talk on it. Other people can hear me but I can barely hear them if they scream. I got it like 4 months ago and have already bought a new phone. Blah

The LG chocolate is a beautiful phone - it's probably the most beautiful phone on the market at the moment. However, its functionality does not live up to expectations. The message alert is barely audible, the phone reception is weak, the volume of conversations is low, the phone's texting dictionary remembers one new word at a time (!), and the battery life is very short. It's such a shame because the 'chocolate' looks so good, but its use a phone is really limited.

I used the Chocolate for over a year. For the most part it was okay, but then the problems started. My T9 dictionary would clear itself all the time, phone calls would get cut-off with the over-sensitive key pad and most of the time, when trying to make a call, I wouldget the 'Emergency calls only' message. I now have a Sony Ericsson phone and you can really notice the difference in quality!

i love the lg lilac chocolate the touch sensitive keys give the phone an easy to use navigation to the best of it's ability. With it's stylish and sleek body the phone is able to be kept in a small pocket or bag. The phobe comes complete with and MP3 player so you can carry around a stylish mobile and an exteremly useful MP3 player in one, why carry both ? I love the way that the makers of this phone has used colour to make the phones body stylish and eye catching for girls especially. However, if lilac is not your colour then why not try, brown, black, white or hot pink, this phone looks and is amazing, not only is it affordable, but trust me this phone is definitly worth your cash ! Love the phone, Love LG.

Having had the LG Choc now for about 2 months I have noticed a few problems with it. 1) The batter had 3 bars showing before I went to bed, but switched itself off (low battery) at 6am 2) The time sometimes doesn't update itself, although this has never been a problem when using the alarm, so it must have an internal clock for this. 3)On default setup the screen goes black very quickly. 4) the button you'd normally use to delete text is actually the back button (which will take you back through the menus). Very annoying unless you have your head screwed on and remember not to touch it. 5) it sometimes crashes when going into the menu folders (specifically the SMS & Contacts section) Believe it or not, apart from all those little niggles its still a decent phone, just watch the battery like a hawk tho :)

If you want a phone that looks great, this one's for you - for the first few days, at least. It scratches extremely easily, and even if you're careful it'll still end up covered in fingerprints and generally looking grubby. As others have said, it charges poorly, the camera is quite low quality, and never really seems to be working properly.

Truely the worst phone I've ever brought. It was such a mistake to buy it! It looks nice, 5 out of 5 there but it scores a big fat zero on usability! The screen takes about 5 seconds to load when you flip it up, the keypad lights intermittently break and the "touch sensetive" keys are more tempramental than a rotweiler. It occasionally switches itself off, cuts you off in the middle of calls (NOT a network problem) and the MP3 is truly terrible. Save yourelf and don't buy this phone!

i realy liked the look of this fone which is why i bought it... but i didnt realise how anoyng the touchpad would be, also that it mine randomly turns off for no reason.. and it has no loadspeaker :( altho besides all that, the camera is ok, the MP3 isnt too bad, the headset is cool n connecttion is clear

i have a motorola pink phone it is flat and so stylish i would seriously recomend the phone to anyone who is looking to buy it is fashionable light so it is easy to carry and a good phone for anyone it is very easy to use and stores alot of pictures, vidieo clips, music,and it has its very own camera the best part is it doesnt eat up credit like a hungry monster lol.

Had this phone for just over a year now and it does its job but it has a poor camera, very limited memory; allowing just 150 text messages in you inbox before you cannot receive anymore. In addition i've tried for months to get the keys to light up. So it is very hard to text unless you no the keys off by heart. The predictive text also stores a limited amount of your own words e.g. the word txt isnt in the dictionary, but after adding more new words into the dictionary it replaces the old words. Looks good but has very very poor call quality! Looks good but the siliver square can scratch off easily.

Although this phone is great visually, it is very poor. I owned it for 2 months before it broke beyond repair. There was no reason for it to have broken as it was looked after very well and was in perfect condition.

I have had the pink version for a lil while now and I want out! The battery is shocking! I've gone to so much trouble to get a replacement - of which i still dont have - but have been told not to bother. My cousin and others have had the phone and all agree the battery is shoddy and even when replaced the connection then died meanin chargin was impossible. I admitt at first it was an amazing phone an i stil really like it what with the bright colour and touch screen but I dread getting phone calls because i can't answer them! The battery dies within seconds no matter how long you charge it! Then you have the game of woo its dead look again no its full I'm sorry lg but its put me off.

I don't know if I've got a dud, but I find I can't see the display in daylight, which means, in particular, that I can't set up the camera or compose the picture. Mostly the phone does "what it says on the tin", but the keys are way too sensitive and operate if your finger goes near them. It's also very easy to accidentally hit the dial key as you open the phone up. The phone came as part of a good package deal, but that suggests that it's so unpopular they've resorted to giving away unsold stock.

I loved this phone when I first got it but I'm starting to get really bored with it, the features are nothing special and it only came with one game...soduko! All in all theres nothing really wrong with it and every time I think about changing I just look at it and want to keep it all over again! It gorgeous!

Really not happy with it. It looks great, but scratchs very easily, battery runs out very fast and there's just functions it's lacking. Little things, like you can't use just any sound for incoming text messages, assing ringtones to different people (just to groups) etc.

Looks lovely but seriously under-featured though. No memory card expansion socket...piddling internal memory as well. Worst of all, Worst of all - the message tone is VIRTUALLY INAUDIBLE even at the highest volume setting. Very limited choice of message tones. Can't import message tones either...It may seem like a trivial point but once you've missed numerous (and some important)messages because of it then you'll see what I mean Pity I can't give it zero stars!

I agree with the fact that the buttons worked when they wanted to. Also, after 4 months of owning my LG the screen started to turn completely blank and sometimes when i switched it on the screen became strangely multiplied! This phone is like the most majorly spazzed phone i have ever owned!

This phone is appauling!!! Not only did I have to send it back about 5 times due to it freezing, after a few months the camera messed up so when i went to take a photo a fuzzy screen came up! obviously it was after my warrenty so there was nothing i could do :( NOT IMPRESSED!

I got the LG chocolate on christmas and i love it. Very good phone toutch sensative and all that but the Animated Gifs (pics) Do not work very well on this phone however you can hold 20 songs on and it is nice and slim line and very intresting. The cam is ok but not very good quality but its fine for anyone who loves a slim and latest phone. Flip phones are cool but the LG chocolate is the best in this model. The LG Choclate Is Very Popular now and a good price to. The poor things about the phone is that its not very good batrey life where ever you go remember to take your phone charger (included) with you. People who are very cool and wanna have a lot of mates this is the phone 4 u. It comes with instructions, Charger, Lead to comp, Carry Case, Cleaner, Wiper. my friends got this phone, she absoulutley adores it!!!, ITS a beuty (lol), great picture quality, very hard to brake, she hasn't said anything about the battery ( so i geuss thats a good thing...., but its such an AMAZING phone im 99% that the battery is too!!!)

Bought this phone as my Company phone, loved it's look as it is in white, but WHAT A DISASTER!!! The line breaks up all the time. almost impossible to hear anyone when talking, camera very poor as colours change , e.g. red turns pink. Very quiet, so keep missing calls and messages. Not reliable, I am very disapponted but have learned a lesson a fashion accessory is not sensible when trying to run a business.

I have had this phone for 2 weeks & as yet have not figured out how to download songs to it. I am well versed with the computer & have tried everything I could think of. The book is of little help, & my next step is to take it back to the dealer & either get it to work or ask for a refund!

I just got an LG Chocolate 2 weels ago. I've had no problems with it and I have to say it's a pretty good phone. all you people who say the battery life isn't good and dies when it gets to 2 bars are talking a load of rubbish! Mine is on 0 bars at the minute and is still working. It is annoying how it doesn't have a memory card holder though....that is the only down side to it. All in all I like the LG Chocolate and think people should give it a couple of weeks trial before they start slagging the phone off. xxx

love this phone! had it since july last year and still have it and its still fine ! people who say it has no memory yeah it does! i have 42 songs on (no lie) from number 1ns to just great songs! i also have like 5 vidoes and about 60 pictures and it still has memory left on it ! really easy to text on and easy to use! one bad point though ! when you first get it you might think that its hard to text on because of the touch screen and also it gets fingerprints on it really easy but thats not a problem when you get used to it !!

A lot of people are saying this phone is the worst phone ever etc. but it's completly the opposite. It's looks are amazing i have the black one, i have friends that have the pink + purple one but i think the black one looks the most stylish. The camera is definatly not the best,it could definatly improve. But its not totally rubbish and still usable. Buttons are slightly annoying but i have got used to them and i find them ok. Music player is fine and sound quality is great. I think this phone is amazing !!

I had this phone about a year ago and I loved it. It was stylish, had a reasonable camera and a good enough memory. My only complaint was that the touch buttons were very sensitive and if i was somewhere warm they had a mind of their own! Overall though it was a great phone.

Iv had this phone less than a year and i am very dissapointed in it... first of all i was over the moon with it but now the censor panel does not work and it turns its self of... i am gettin the samsung d900 this week which i knoe is much better than the LG kg800. i am very dissapointed and i dont think this is a good phone or reliable at all.

I got this phone yesterday and I have to say that the memory for music and photos ect. is amazing! The salesman in the shop said it would only be able to hold 4 songs, I've got loads! However one fault is that you can't change the message tone.. if anyone can tell me how get back to me please!

Ok i got this phone a year ago and it has lasted. Also its not too badly skratched because i kept it in that pocket thats comes with it. However now am having to fork out again to get it repaired because it keeps switchin itself off which is annoying if trying t5o send a text or calling sumone. Not the best phone ever:( xx

I think LG Chocolates are a piece of poo! i have a pink one and had mine for just under 8 months and its all messed up it blanks out, the camera goes all fuzzy like a t.v when you first turn it on or it turns green and makes photos look red ,phones random people and basically has a life of its own.It has bad memory,bad battery power and loads of faults! i hate the little thing! if you are looking for a genrially good looking phone this one is for you but what i woud say is AVOID IT! i am about to get a sony ericsson S500i which i hope shall be good! On my first few months of owning this phone, I loved it. Who wouldn't? It's a beautiful phone - no lie. After 6 months gone by, I started to hate LG Chocolate phone. The battery life is terrible. The touch screen starts to stop working; the battery dies easily. On my 9th month, I talked only for 25 to 30 seconds (with full batteries!) and my cell died. Terrible, terrible phone. I replaced my phone again with another Chocolate phone; the battery was so terrible I had to switch. I got the same model. The first day was perfect. I fell in love with my phone again. After charging the phone at least two times, the god damn cell phone wouldn't charge. An advice that'll save your time and money: Do NOT buy this phone!!!

I love the design of this phone, the camera is great and the memory is fine, it stores loads of full length songs and the sound is loud enough. however, the touch sensitive keys can get annnoying and it has to be charged about once or twice a day.

i have had this phone for around 10 months. It was ok at first but go scratch really easily due to the glossy finish. it also showed up finger prints. i also keep mine in it's pouch and had a protective case on it, and still the silver finish chiped off. my phone has a small reaction time when i slide it up it takes around 5 seconds to show the screen. I have to delete me messages every couple of days because the memory is bad. this phone is useless and i am now looking for a new one.

got this phone for my last birthday nad i got it because everyone else had it and looked wicked with the touch screen!! at the beginning it was fine, easy to use, queit good camera but as the year went by it started to be a faulty phone. becoz of the touch screen it would call people dat u dont wanna call and if you slide it up or down to hard it will automatically turn off! i love dis stylish phone but its not de best phone out there!!

I've had this phone for about 15 months now and although at the start I enjoyed the touch sensitive keypad and the looks; I have slowly grown to hate it, hence why I'm on this site looking for a replacement. Why? because using some of the features of the phone is an absolute pain in the neck. The battery life is extremely poor lasting only 3 days if I don't use it or look at it. Now and again when I slide it open, a ghost finger takes over touching the sensitive pad quickly zipping through different menus without any intervention from me aaggghhhhh!!! The camera photo quality is poor, the video quality is poor, and my decision to buy the damn phone in the first place was poor!!! I gave this phone 1 star rating because I couldn't select none. My recommendation...guess!

This is a brill phone. I have a lilac one, the only image prob is that it gets fingerprints on it easily. I,ve had it for about 2 months now, the only problems are that I accidently fried my SIM card (not the phone's fault) It needs charging quite alot. The heat sensitive buttons are useful, but I sometimes find my self pressing the wrong ones. The camera is excellent, my brother had a samsung E250 with a 1.3 megapixel camera and mine is better, even though it's the same!! It's extremely pretty. The Chocolate's screen is super sharp. Like any LG, it's simple and easy to use, but still up to date and funky. I reccomend T - Mobile as the network and Carphone Warehouse as the supplier. Jade, 10

Hilarious reviews here: people who buy the phone then give a bad review should remember in future to read reviews before buying the product. People who ask questions such as 'how do you get to answer the phone without opening it?' should RTFM!!! - (read the manual). People who say the touch pad doesn't work - either they have a broken phone or they are clumsy oafs. People who say the phone is 'dirty' LOL - wash your hands at least once a day or after shoveling baked beans into your mouth with your bare hands:) Keep 'em coming, it's a good laugh

iv had this phone for nearly a year and i think its a 'good' phone...not amazing but it does the job...the touchscreen does get a bit annoying at times and it doesnt have loudspeaker either...it doesnt support some formats of photos either like when ur frends send you photos they dont always open..but apart from that its a decent phone, wen i read the reviews people wer complaining that the screen keeps going white but iv never had this problem...the ringtone isnt very loud tho and its hard to hear, same with the mp3 player...im going to replace it soon but overall its good for someone who doesnt use their phone 4 media much. x

I`ve had mine for 18 months and I`ve just got a new phone. I`ll be sad not to use it anymore but the sensitive keys do drive you mad. I`ve ended up sending a text to somebody I was talking about. Even after all the bad reviews i went ahead a bought this phone and i have to say i it's fantastic. People who say the battery life only lasts for three days are talking absolute rubbish i got mine 1 week and 4 days ago and only charged it once. It also holds loads of songs alot more than ten anyway, at the moment i've got around 30 which is alot more than my old phone. Overall this phone is OUTSTANDING!!!

The LG is a very good phone but when it comes down to me i'm alays dropping it and it scraches very easiy! I agree that it has poor battery life but i supose that happens on most phones! the camera is very good but on the voice recorder you can't record much, however the video camera is outstanding! all though your memory is very limeted, you can't get many messages onto it and whats worst you can't buy a memory card!!!!! but over all it's a very good phone!

I'm now buying a new phone as all the time I have had an LG phone they break. They are not durable and I would not recommend them to anybody. Nokia or Sony Ericson are better quality trust me. LG's are a scam they never work as well as what they promise they will. My bum could save more files and music than the chocalate. No thanks LG.

I have bought this phone a year ago and I was very happy about it at first,since it looked so slick and that touch pad..just couldn't get tired of it.But after a couple of days,being used to more complex phones like sony ericsson...it was a big disappointment to discover that this phone ...well..doesn't know much.After a few months I had to send it in service(no longer working) and a couple of days ago...he just...died.The display was totally messed up,th keys no longer responded...And since my guarantee certificate has expired,I'd rather buy a new one(a sony ericsson ,definitely) than pay to fix it.so,my advice:if you want a phone,I mean ,a real one,not some girly slick gadget,DON'T buy LG chocolate!

I hate this phone so much. I charges fine but i have just deleted all my song and now its telling me it has no memory so i deleted everything i put on it say the memory is half empty try to add new stuff ad it doesnt work, after 5 minuets it now wont turn off. the screen ocasionally goes white, pretty but a waste of money dont get this phone unless your willing to pay to get it fixed...I AM NOT.

The front touch keys are over sensitive, it's too easy to do things you don't actually want to do. You're also limited with message alert tones, you can only use tones already on the phone. Battery life is poor. Most people I know with this phone have had to have it sent away to be fixed often related to problems with the screen freezing. It's not a terrible phone but doesn't suit people who use their mobiles a lot.

I have owned this phone for about 5 months now. Overall it is a good phone, its a very sleek design, however i wil be getting a new phone because the delay when texting is very annoying e.g. if u want to txt fast you have to wait a few seconds for the letters to appear. I loved this phone, it had so much memory, the camera was great, looked fantastic.. 2 of my friends also owned this phone and theres both started screwing up, there screen started to go fuzzy and eventually just went white all the time, couldnt see a thing. Now mine has started to do the exact same thing, and alot of times when on a phone call I cant hear a thing, but the other person can hear me, I have to turn my phone off and back on just to get it to work properly.. The battery life is very short also, even in power saving mode.

The phone looks really lovely but won't stand up to much, it was difficult to switch on from day one with the button jamming and whatever and recently I had to resort to jabbing a pen in its side to turn it on! This happened alot since the phone wouldn't keep its charge and kept switching itself off! Touchscreen was very tempremental! The phone is now completely broken with no life which is a big dissapointment as I loved the look of this phone! Overall gorgeous phone with major flaws

Terrible phone. Had mine for a year and it worked for about 3 months of that year. Constantly in getting fixed. Shop told me they had loads of returns and problems due to poor software. Always crashing and then sometimes won't switch back on so have to go back to shop for fixing again. Now outwith manufacturers warranty so have to pay insurance excess to get it fixed - not worth it as will probably just break again. DON'T BUY IT IF YOU WANT A PHONE THAT WORKS! Looks really nice, but that's about it!!!

I've had this phone for about a year on contract and I'm finally rid of it! The worst phone I've ever used in my life, I've had a few! Poor battery life, pathetic camera, turns itself on and off randomly (had to send it to be fixed 4 times and still no better on its return) the time keeping on it was shocking, I'd set the time and the about 2 days later it would slowly start loosing time! As for the mp3, absolute rubbish, 25 songs might be ok for some but not me! It's a phone that a 9 year old would probably appreciate as a toy!!! Just got the sony w910i and can not believe how much easier it's made my life having a mobile that actually works! On the upside the chocolate looks nice...

I recieved this phone as a christmas present i was pleased with it until around a month later the phone began to freeze more and more until one day it completely froze. i took it back to the carphonewarehouse were it was purchased . I asked for a replacement and didnt get one , i argued to get my replacement and as a result i was banned from the shop. Dont buy a phone from the carphonewarehouse as if it breaks they dont care.

When i first got this phone i was chuffed! It looks really good (i got the red one) however when it first turned on i was a little annoyed at the size of the actual screen as its slightly too small for my liking! The picture quality isnt that great eith to be honest! And another annoying thing is that its even difficult to phone someone, it says 'emergancy only' whenever you type in a number and press the 'call' button! Saying that, i do like this phone, the MP3 feature is that best bit, loud and good quality! More a music phone than a camera phone and the message section!

the lg chocolate kg800 is a awesome phone i tried it and i love it. i have recently tried the motorola rokr z6m and it does not compare to the chocolate the buttons on the rokr buttons are to small and the chocolates touch functionality works and feels very good i would rate this phone a 4.5 out of 5

The lg chocolate is a very popular yet overpriced phone. The touch sensetive keypad is a good idea but is not up to the quality of the E900.With easily breakable buttons and a tendancy to freeze the lg is to high tech for the quality of phone you get.

rubbish battery, it tells you there is more than half the battery left then flashes empty as soon as you make a call, touch screen is annoying, works when it wants to. switches off for no reason midway through composing texts. camera is poor with no zoom. time slows down over a period of time despite regularly being reset. never choosing a phone based on how it looks again. do not choose this phone!

The touch sensitive buttons are so annoying I nearly threw this phone at the wall in the 1st week. Camera is awful and if you want to use the lowest res just for contacts then it uses .bmp format making the file size larger than the full 1.3mp .jpg USB connectivity is poor and the software would not run on my pc. LG's menu's are good, but thats it for this phone.

Hi x and this is my review on the lg chocolate. I got the phone for my birthday (february 2008) from carphone warehouse, who have the cheapest deal atm. The phone looks brilliant and i fell in love with it insantly. People say it doesnt work well and is a waste of money but in fact it is a really cool phone- it does what it says on the box. What more do you expect?!? The camera is very very good and shows the details, the music player is loud and is better than my mp3 player! This phone is worth getting and anybody whose breaks quit moaning and take it back! It must just be ur phone. Laura :]

i Had This phone last year for my birthday. ive had no trouble with this phone, the music is loud i have lots of pics and music, the battery lasts for about a week for mee but when i play music 1bar goes low but then wen you turn it off it comes back. i still really like my phone. the camera is good and clear, my aunties just had the LG veiwty its soo good. i think This phone is better for girls really but i think you should give it a go and buy it! ignore everyone who says its rubbish because it isnt.ive had no problems with it atall! touch wood. thanks

This phone is rubbish, i got it when it first came out on a 12 month contract with 02. I purchased insurance on the phone (thank god) and i had to send it back 17 times untill they admitted it had faults and sent me an LG shine (also rubbish). The phone couldn't hold its charge, it would cut out and it scratched way to easy, it also wouldn't let you use the up and left touch keys. It has a rubbish camera and mp3 player. DONT BUY THIS PHONE, it was the biggest regret i ever had. It only has a low price because it is awful.

i've had this phone a year now - no probs at all the keypads ARN'T sensitive that is a lie ! It does have low charge but it's a great phone there has 2 b some disavantages.Advantages:1.3 mp camera (with flash) video camera and voice recorder, Internet access m.p.3 player cool phone layout, LOOKS GREAT ! reasonably priced, what more do you want ? I love this phone and i highly reccomend it ! ignore what everyone else has said !

As soon as i saw this phone i wanted it! i got it as soon as it was out. but looks can be disefing! although the memory is good, you cant by memory sticks or cards for it. you cant do other things if your playing music. and if your sending music by bluetooth (or recieving it) it takes forever! it took more than a hour just to get a song! there is also the fact of when you slide it it scratces the camera. There is a gap round the edge as well so if you go on holiday alot to beachy places dont get this phone. i did buy it and i went to the beach and all round the egde in the gap there was loads of sand and it wouldnt come out. i would not recommend this phone

I got this phone 4 days ago, it is a good phone and hasn't had any faults yet. The phone itself is very attractive, and not as good as it seems, the settings aren't the best, but I can live. I am just baffled trying to figure out how to download songs onto it. The only bad thing I can say is the little noise it makes when you open and close it, and when you type in a number or text that annoys me but otherwise I would recommend it.

Terrible phone. Worst phone i have ever had. Camera is rubbish, touch buttons are terrible. I bought this phone from o2 and sent it back twice. First time, it had a mind of its own and just went of sending messages and ringing people when i didnt tell it to. Second time, it turned off and just wouldn't turn back on again. If you are going to buy a phone the Nokia 7373 is pretty and a wonderful phone, best i've ever had.

This is the worst phone I ever ever been unfortunate enough to own. The texting is from the 13th century, the battery life is appalling and it is laced with problems, for example poor reception, answering a call and being unable to hear the person on the other end. It may look great but for everything else it is a pathetic waste of money. I am doubly angry because T mobile will not change it for me despite its operating faults. Warning: DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!

I had brought this phone off Carphone Warehouse before reading reviews saying it went white and freezed. Speaking to a couple of my friends, this is what happened - but they did say its so easy to get scratches on it. And if you do get scratches on it, it looks not as it did before. I hope that I will like it, if it doesn't meet up to my standards then I'll be disappointed. But am really pleased that i got it at such a good deal.. Black is by far the nicest colour to get it in, the pink and lilac are gross the white, well it just seems typical that its going over the top. xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I have just got this phone and it is fab! Ok mabye its a bit sensitive but when you get used to it its fine. People complain it gets smudged and dirty, well thats why it comes with a puch and pad cleaner DUH!!!I would definatly recomend this phone to anyone of any age. I definatly got it in time because i'm sure you won't be able to get them anywhere soon they'll be oout f stock everywhere. and i got mine just in time for valentines day coz this fone is one SEXY BEAST!!!!

I got an LG Chocolate due to the fact about my Motorola Razr had a fault and Orange refused to fix it. So I went on Carphone warehouse and changed networks (Vodafone is by far the best) and bought the LG, it is such an amazing phone.. it does get fingerprint marks on it. But you can clean those off and put it in the pouch, overall I'm very pleased with the phone, but recommend the new Viewty LG Phone as its newer x

When i first got this phone i loved it,mostly because of its design, and the fact it holds many songs...until i figured it broke really easily. The camera is rubbish aswell. The screen just went blank for no reason and wouldnt work. i sent it back and replaced it with the same one cause i thought i'd try again. one week later the speakers went dodgy and nobody could hear me when they rang me. unless you want your phone to go faulty within one month, or an excuse to upgrade, dont buy it!

Hi people, i just bought this phone tuesday and i really like it, only sometimes when I listen to music the battery get's less and when i stop listening to it, after a few minutes the battery will increase again. When someone calls me I get my ringtone....but how can I also put it on vibration and ringtone????!!

This phone is rubbish; mine keeps turning itself off and sometimes when I try and go on my pictures, the whole screen goes white and vibrates continuously for 30 seconds. The battery life is rubbish, always has been. I've had this phone a year - set me back �120 originally. I regret it considerably. Stick to sony ericssons or nokias.

WEll i got my LG Chocolate when i was just moving up to secondry school the phone scores round about 9/10 for me becuase it has little battrey life it gets dirty quickly from the touch creen and the camera doesn't store much i was pleased when i go it but now not so please it stores round about 25-30 songs. the inbox is about 70 message the same as the out box. i got mine for about �100 but now i can't belive you can get it for about �50 !! The phone is overla very good and i would suggest buying because of the stroage for the mp3 player and the inbox and outbox and also because its very smart and very easy to fit in your back pocket also when someone rings you the song goes on for ages so it gives you enough time to get to it !!!! down below it says 5star but really i think 4.05 thank you for your time on reding this review

OMG!! had this phone in summer.. and a week after i got it it started to play up. The battery life is totally pants.. it will last me about a day, the memory isnt much better!! but on the plus side.. it does look amazing and still now people are saying how good it looks!!

Stay well clear away from this phone after just 6 months it has packed up on me, the battery life is dreaful, the touch screen buttons lock and the screen goes fuzzy and splits into 4 different screens!? i havent even dropped it....stay well clear LG are very unreliable

Hello. For my birthday in 2007, I bought this phone, picked it out in the shops myself, and I was SO happy! It is elegant, pretty and practical. Although it does scratch easily and the touch screen CAN be annoying, it is a wonderful phone. Camera is great (1.3 megapixels) MP3, awesome and the ringtones are good and the LG Chocolate has loads of space. I would recommend buying this or Nokia 7373! Thank you. x

wot a load of rubbish!!! thankfully my lg days r over....bought it cos it looked smart, shame they chose form over function though!! 9 days in, it died on me. took it bk 2 shop and they wouldnt take it back as it had a slight scratch on it. sent it away to b repaired, they found nothing wrong with it! played up forever after that. touch keys stopping workin, turning off randomly. camera is shocking, keys r worse, music quality is poor, i have nothing nice to say about this phone. Stick to makin tellys LG....at least they work!

I got this phone for Christmas and i love it,but i read the instruction booklet and you cant drop it or put it near a microwave and a bunch of other stuff.Its a very delicate phone and the touch screen is a bit annoying sometimes but over all it a good phone and in my opinion its a stylin phone too.

i got this phone last christmas and with one fall(it wasnt even a bad one, more like a bump) it broke..i sent away to get fixed(which cost �100) and it still wasnt fixed so i payed another �100 to fix it.. i got one when thy first come out for �200! i think its worth �20! Because its got small memory (you cant put a memory card in) you cant purchase games of the wap internet because it wont save the game but they still CHARGE YOU! the only good thing is looks and camera

this phone is absolutely rubbish i got it last year and ever since i havn't liked it. It has a rubbish battery life and the keys are over-sensitive it does its own thing e.g. deleting files, contacts etc the sound is very quite. Txting is very hard and the screen easily gets fingerprints and scratches. The only good thing about this phone is its looks it is a very classy looking phone that attracts attention. But overall i HATE this phone and i definitely DON'T reccomend buying it. AVOID

I actually hate this phone... I literally have to charge the phone up every other day... The phone heats up really badly after talking on the phone for about 10 mins, it feels like it is going to explode next to your ears and guess what, MY PHONE IS NOW DEAD!!!! this phone is quite gud but onli superficial..all these peole saying that they keep braking is utter rubbish..they must not be lookin after them properly. I ve had mine for 2 years and i have had no problems wat so eva...the downsides however is the video is a little shoddy and it does hold too many songs...but just buy an IPOD :P ..the lg choc looks reli good and classy and i hav had a few gd commens ova myn ...people say the touch buttons are fiddly but personally i think that that is the best feature. i find the touch keys unique...i would rather have the prada one or the veiwety one but they are a little out of my price range...lol the blk one is the best, then the red, green and the pink n purple r just childish ....chow4now

its very good. the music space isnt however...if you are lookin for a music one or one to suit your music needs, this isnt the phone to have. It looks very classy and a number of people have commented on mine....the graphics are limited so really its just a superficial phone...however it doest it job!!:)

I hate this phone. Ive struggled on with it for 14 months now and its awful. Its hard to use, if you pass it to someone else to take a photo they'll innevitably touch the buttons by brushing them , so a simple photo can take about 5 attempts to take. It doesn't have enough features, no radio, no loudspeaker, not a particually good camera. Its started to break when i slide it now too.

Hey I Got This Phone For Crimbo, and i have to say i am not disapointed.im 11, so i want mp3, camera, video, all that. and its great. who ever says it can only hold 10-15 songs, well get lost. mine already has like 25 songs on so ya no. the camera is really good too, clear and sharp. the video """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" people says that they cant here people when they are on the pone, well i can and i am on 02. i have no trouble with the signal either. the only downside is, it does scratch quite easily, but then if u are csreful its fine. i have dropped it once. its still fine. and also, the battery life is pretty poor................................IF YOU USE IT EVRY SECOND OF EVERY MINUTE OF EVRY DAY LIKE I DO!!!! so overall, this fone is great, and people, if you want a good camera, get a digi camera, and if u want a mp3, get an ipod for god sake. ITS A PHONE. RING RING RING RING. get it?!?!?!?!?!?

I love the LG Chocolate. It is very good as it has Camera, Video Camera, MP3 and voice record. If you want a phone I would recommend this phone.

hey. i love my new lg chocolate mobile phone. it is soo handy to carry around with. its simple to use aswell. has lots of memory in it. you have to buy this phone its amazing and im not just saying that really!!!!!!!!!

DONT BUY IT. i have had the LG Chocolate K800 for a year now and i am onto my 4th one. i am now sending this one away at the weekend.meaning i will be onto my fifth. i will admit the camera is really good, however mine has just broken and crashes whenever i try too take a photo. the zoom is a real let down aswell. the screen gives of random colours around it. you cant set the message tone you want you cant have the alarm tone you want you cant have LOUDSPEAKER!!!! and you sometimes cant have the background you want the bluetooth speed is really slow. and you cant slide the phone down during transfers. its VERY fustrating when your in the middle or near the end of a transfer and you touch the cancel key (touch sensitive) with your hand or side, if the phone is in your pocket this is my experience. however if you do wish too buy it. go ahead (:

Well .. I've had this phone since June 2007. I totally fell in love with this phone at first because of the looks and mostly because of the touch sensitive keys. When I got it I was really happy with it!! But then I started to see the problems. The camera takes quite a long time to focus on the thing that you are taking a picture of. The touch sensitive keys get really annoying after using them for quite a while. If texting if you press a button it does not always come out with the letter so you have to press it really hard. It can only store about 30 songs (although it sounds alot after they're all on there it's really little!) I generally don't really like this phone. It's not that I have a thing about this phone, it's just that it's really poor. Another thing is that the software provided has no use at all and you have to go on my computer and do it from there. There are not any themes, just menu colors. If you want something simple without the things like proper themes or things like that then this phone is the one for you.

I have the lg chocolate and it is beautiful I cant put it down. It has over 90 minutes video can store about 27 songs on it. It is sleek and beautiful shape. It has a good camera. Lovely colours and I recommend you buy it now as it is on sale after a while it will go back up. The only bad thing is that downloading games is a bit hard and fiddely. But you don't buy a phone for the games do you? I don't play games that much but I do like the one game thats on there I like soduku

Looks fantastic BUT is not as user friendly as much cheaper phones that I have had in the past. Touch controls irritating - I keep phoning people by mistake!! Texting is messy the curser wont go into a word so if you spell it wrong you have to delete the whole lot. And lots more is irritatting! I've only had the phone a few months and am now looking to change it - remember looks aren't everything!!

when i first got this phone i thought it was amazing... but after a while i realised it wernt so gud, first it started switching off on its own, half way through a text or call. and then sometimes when someone rang me, they could hear me but i couldnt hear them, to get it working again i had to constantly switch the phone on and off, other than that it was ok.. but after 4 months i swopped it!

Here, i bought this phone thinking it was fantastic,... it isnt! Yeh it might look good but its rubbish. I had it for a week and had to charge it 6 times! DONT buy! It scratches easily! Also i got a faulty batch? I looked down and im not the only one! LG has a problem they need to fix! I have now the Samsung E900 which is also touch but MUCH better. My brother risked getting the KG290 (lg) but it turned out to be even better than the k800, basically the Kg290 works! Very poor!

I have the LG Choc and it drives me insane the touch screen buttons always make you hang up on people if it touches your face. The cameras great though!.Yet sending music through bluetooth takes longer than average. Usually around 10-15mins.

I know lots of people who have this phone and they love it! So do I; I have been on theirs. The black looks stylish and pretty and the lilac looks equally pretty! Great original ideas...no wonder it's so popular! I will probably get the black one and I can't wait! P.S. LOVE the touch-sensetive buttons!

got dis fone for ova a year now. i love it still....nice 2 luk at,gud camera,battery cn last up 2 2 days an dats it alway being used. ive dropped it a million times and ts still perfect. da mp3 has good volume. da only fing i wud change bouit is dat iwu hav a memory card slot and themes..10/10

I have had this phone for a few days now and must admit this is the best phone i have ever owned. I love the sleek design, in fact i love everything about it, the people on here who have slagged the phone off either hasnt even got the phone, or they dont know what they are talking about. I give the phone 5 stars.

The phone looks good but it just didnt meet expectations. The predictive text is useless and it doesnt properly save new words you add. You always accidentally go onto the wrong thing by brushing the touch senstive buttons, which by the way dont work if you are wearing gloves. The only game on it is sudoko which is boring and very difficult to use. None of the ringtones are loud enough to hear. You cant set you songs are ringtones. Very difficult to connect to the computer. Almost impossible to keep finger print free. Battery constantly falls of the back. Photo quality is appauling. After a few months you end up having to charge it EVERY night even if it has just been left on and not used. MUST I GO ON? don't buy this phone - it isnt worth it.

The phone is a pile of poop! im not even joking i had about 300 scratches on it and it takes rubbish piccys and i can never hear it wen sum1 calls me or if they text me!! i can only hold 20 music files and i like to hav a lot of music on my phone!! i got it the first day charged it and then i used it to text everyone my new number and the battery went down very quickly! i payed �100 for it in april 2007 i am totally ashamed to have this phone!! wen i slide up my phone it takes 1-2 seconds to finally come up! although it used to look after it has stratches all over it, it looks digusting

I am just recieving this phone as my motorola razr is packing in (battery life, grr) So far it looks really sexy, but ive heard battery life sucks just as bad. I go more for looks when it comes to a phone (superficial ,i know) , and thats why im rating pretty high. I have mine in the pink, witch if i may add, is way too pink . (Present so, cant change colour)

This is the worst cell phone I have ever had. I need a phone design to be in my pants pocket and this phone fails horribly. The buttons can be activated in there by accident. This happens every time. My last phone bill had me way over my minutes because my phone was calling accidentally, and also trying to access the web for some strange reason. The touch panel also does not work well when your face touches it. Your face has to touch it to talk and listen, because you can barely hear anyone talking to you. I am signed in with this phone for three years, and i may actually toss it anyway and buy one. That is saying a lot because I am a cheap cheap man. I wish there was an option for no stars. Worst. Phone. Ever.

i bought an LG chocolate for my daughter at christmas.it was impossible to change the ring tone so carphone warehouse replaced it...this one has the same problem and now i'm more than a bit cheesed off as i have to keep going back to the shop and the costomer service (phone) is a waste of time as they just repeat thing written down..however it is a nice looking phone...and i hope i get it sorted as my daughter is quite upset by it and all the hassle involved

I really wanted this phone but when my mate got it and realised what a pain it was to use I was compleatly put off. If you want a really good phine go for something that is not all looks and is simple to use.

its realy cool! i was just after a basic fone wich looked cool and got just that! this phone does EXACLY what it says on the tin. Yes, maybe the touch buttons are a bit annoying but you cant have ypur cake and eat it too. If you dont like the phone you shouldnt have bought it then! I think this phone appeals to many and does the opposite with others, its life. Live with it.

Yes this phone is very nice :) However when i bought the first one from carphone warehouse it was ok until a few days later the images on the screen were all distorted, and the buttons didn't work properly. I then had to exchange the phone and so far so good :D I do find the package abit dodgy as the first phone i purchased didn't come with a lil pouch for the phone or any other accessories which i think helps bigtime as the phone does get finger marks on it. However i do like this phone so i'm giving it a 3!!

This phone is great! I got it in lilac and I've had so many compliments! It holds quite a lot of songs, has a good camera etc. Its so different compared to my old phone [motorola L6, which was rubbish]

i got this phone 2day and it is amazing!! the touch pad is hard to get used to BUT it is a simple and easy-to understand mobile. It would of got a 5 yet it is a bit quiet, all in all... BRILLIANT!!! the camera is really gud and takes high quality pics! Its also extremely stylish and funky........definitely a must have mobile!

At first i loved this phone, i got it in pink and loved the style because it was so girly lol. i also loved the touch screen buttons and size of it but it's the most unreliable phone ever. Mine broke alot and now the sound doesn't work at all so i can't play songs or hear people in phone calls. It Turns itself off alll the time! I Can't keep it on long enough to even send a message now and i text fast, alot of people i know have had the same problem with this phone too. I wouldn't recomend it at all.

my friend bought this phone so im writing on her behalf. she got the phone last month on her birthday and it worked for 4 days then on the 4th day it crashed and the screen went blank and everytime she tried to turn it on it wouldnt come on it just went blank. she took it back and got another but this time it was a day it lasted and on that day it happened to all my friends that had a lg = 5 friends the touch part on the phone broke it maybe because she pressed hard but also my friends didnt and the touch part does not like warm hand it messes up te circits and the top bit of the phone what slides up came of compleetley and that also happened to one of my other friends!! so she told to recomed the nokia 5200 it is much better and has a louder sytem and does not brake in 1 week or less!!

People who are writing reviews like "scratches to easily" or "if you drop it you'll never use it again!" GO FIGURE, if you are careless with it ITS NOT GOING TO BE MAGICALLY UNDAMAGED!. Its a good phone, it has let me down sometimes with the battery though. The touch sensitive keys arn't too sensitive, they are fine. If you press them to hard, then yeh, its gonna be to much, ITS TOUCH SENSITIVE YOU DON'T NEED TO PRESS IT. Maybe thats why people are saying its too sensitive, because they are pressing it instead of touching it. But they are probably the same people who drop it and moan about it scratching. Idiots for you. Worth the buy.

This phone looks nice but I've had it a year and it's been awful from day one. The touch sensitive buttons go haywire if your hands are warm, so much so that T9 text facility is scrolling through word choices before you've finished typing - making texting impossible. Also it means it will scroll through the phone book at will, so making a call is russian roulette. Can't wait to get another phone, been tempted to go back to an old brick phone in the cupboard just so I don't have to use the LG Chocolate. Camera is poor, all features difficult to use once touch sensitive pads are playing up and they play up from day 1. Can't possible recommend, even if it was free.

A Beautiful phone, a pity that's all it has got going for it. I purchased one as a present for my wife, so she could listen to a few songs and also take a few photos in addition to the phone. Firstly christmas day the camera doesnt work, so have to take back and have replaced. The replacement set up ok, then go to download the MP3 files she has chosen, and it only accepts 1 song. Advised by the technical help line that phone is faulty again. Took it back to store and advised by people selling the phone that it will only hold a couple of songs,and advised to try the samsung. If you are considering getting one of these phones take my advice steer clear, even the sales people dont rate them, Im just glad I didnt purchase one when more expensive has I originally planned

when i first got this phone in may, i thought it was the best. But then it kept switching itself off! Then screen went all funny and then just went blank! All of the above has happened seceral times and i am fed up asnd never getting a LG Phone again! Luckily it is still under warranty.
