I simply cannot decipher what anyone says on the answer machine- it sounds like it's under water. I've only had this quad pack for about a year and the screen on one of the phones is no longer displaying the top half of the digits, and one set of batteries have died. Pants phone.

I find this phone poor functioally as well as aesthetically. It simply doesn't work between my house and garage / office (which are less than 5m apart). To me, the idea it has a 50m indoor range as stated above, is laughable. I do appreciate that the signal may deteriorate somewhat due to the fact there are two external walls between me and the base unit... but it struggles to work upstairs and really is unusable in the garage. Often it picks up the signal but it is impossible to make or receive calls without significant loss of quality or (after a very short time) complete loss of signal. When you get cut off it's not just the handset that stops working... I have to go and pull the power on the base unit before it works again. Terrible. I'd give it a zero if I could!

Battery life's a joke! if i'd paid more i'd be more upset, but it's still disappointing.

Yuck. I hate this phone. Why would anyone design a phone that sits at such an awful angle on the desk. I get RSI picking this phone up all day. Hate it. Hate it. Hate it.
