Reviewed by Edith on 06/02/2010 Purchased phones about 2 years ago. Fine for the first year. Now, as everyone else has commented, battery life is very poor. Looking into buying new phone - but will be avoiding BT phones Rating:
Reviewed by pd on 20/11/2009 right from the start battery life was poor. now if its off the hook even for a minute and rings the battery dies, BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY EVER ! Rating:
Reviewed by J.B. on 15/09/2009 Mine has lasted about 18 months, but the battery life has been getting less and less. I can't put it on speakerphone now or have it away from the base for more than a few minutes. I won't be buying a replacement from this range. Rating:
Reviewed by L.B.S on 25/08/2009 Battery life is a joke!! Don't waste your money on this pile of junk!! Rating:
Reviewed by cj on 23/07/2009 A complete bag of shoot no good what so ever as said before batteries kept running out I will not be buying anything from the B.T range ever again Rating:
Reviewed by rosa on 15/07/2009 mine worked fine for about a year until batteries kept running out, after replacing them handset constantly displays searching, and i can't make any calls - does anybody out there know how to fix this problem? Rating:
Reviewed by Ron on 21/06/2009 Battery life dreadful. Bought new batteries and at least two of the phones now display "not possible' when trying to connect a call. Frustrating. Instruction booklet has no troubleshooting guide. Using corded phone till i decide what to do next. Rating:
Reviewed by MikeR on 06/06/2009 Battery life appauling and answer facility has just given up - but still answers the call so cannot go through to 1571. Needless to say, just out of warranty. Rating:
Reviewed by Ray on 17/01/2009 Absolutely disagree with the reviews below. I've had a pair of these phones for 4 or 5 years and they are in constant use. Absolutely no problems. Easy to use, simple and basic, lightweight, clear screen, okay to use anywhere around my house including the bottom of my garden and in my neighbours house. And I've not had to replace a battery yet! One of them has just packed up so as they are so cheap I'll go for a replacement rather than pay twice the amount for a phone I don't know. Rating:
Reviewed by Darren on 14/01/2009 had the same problem battery lasting at least 2mins, I have gone back to my old corded one. Rating:
Reviewed by john on 12/08/2008 disposable trash - I've had 2 different sets of digital cordless phones from bt recently and they've both been binned within six months (just long enough for most people to have binned their reciept) I assume the problem is down to the batteries wearing after constant recharging when placed in the cradle- tried to take them back to asda without reciept and needless to say got nowhere. Get a corded phone until the technology's improved Rating:
Reviewed by Glyn Collen on 31/10/2007 Useless - the handsets won't register with the base station so unable to use it. There is nothing in the user guide to help fix the problem. only an 0870 number to phone which puts you on hold forever and a day... Do NOT buy one of these. Rating:
