i have bought these phones and they never came with the pin number and i cant do anything with these until i do, how do you reset the pin?? 0000 doesnt work ..... htlp thanks

To receive texts by word you have to register the handset by sending "Reset" to 00000. its all in the manual.

its more like a mobile, u can't receive txt by written words, can be hard to understand the spoken words in messages received but overall a very handly home phone and need to read up more on it but am very happy with it

Menus etc are sluggish; quiet - even on speakerphone. I have not attempted text with it.
