Reviewed by Dave Andrews on 01/12/2008 Good phone but pretty old. Bought the Which? report (bit stupidly) - then found lots of nice articles here: www.cordless-phones.uk.com/blog/ any added comments appreciated. I'm looking for a twin phone (around £70). Rating:
Reviewed by Jeff on 29/11/2008 Had this phone for nearly 2 years now and still pleased with it.The answer machine is a doddle to use although if your in and its turned on you only have 5 rings before it activates, so you gotta be pretty quick to get to it and pick up the phone. You can turn the answer machine off when your in but i always forget.Range from the base is good.No problem at all with keeping the phone in its cradle.Clear sound, If i wanted to be very picky i would say it does sound a bit tinny on hands free. All in all a good phone that i am pleased with . Reviewed by Iain on 28/10/2007 I have no idea how the first reviewers handset kept falling out of holder seeing as the hole is pretty deep. My guess is you just didn't bother to put the phone back right. Yeah it's a little chunky but I have had "slim" handsets and never got on with them. Design...... it's a house phone for god sakes. If you wanted something stylish then you would have had more then enough time to return the phone to where you got it or better still, looked at the phone before you got it. I have the twin pack as there is one in the house and the other is in the workshop in the garden about 80 ft from the main base and has no loss of signal or sound quality. I like the intercom service on the phones. I replace my old KXTCD505 Panasonic and at one point I have this one paired to my new system but now the phone is being used as an internet phone via my Orange LiveBox. Rating:
Reviewed by Stephen on 24/02/2007 Really horrible phone. Panasonic engineers obviously made no effort is designing this one. The phone is chunky and uncomfortable to hold, and I've lost count of the number of times it has simply fallen out of its holder. I'm hoping that the next fall onto the floor will break it completely and I can buy a new phone - not a Panasonic next time :( Rating:
