Reviewed by Pat Smart - for : Pecket Well College on 26/01/2008 Charity Registration no. 700726 We are a registered charity, Pecket Well College, for adult basic and community education. We are using the answerphone CWT2100. We have moved premises and in the move the instructions for use of the phone have been lost. We often trained people in the use of an answerphone and once trained often bought the same machine they were used to. So our rating would be 4 Would it be possible for you to let us have some more instuctions for using the aswerphone. They could be e-mailed if you can help us. to: patsmart@pecketwell.org.uk or sent to: Pat Smart, Pecket Well College Co-op Buildings Keithley Road Pecket Well Hebden Bridge West Yorkshire HX7 8QP Rating:
Reviewed by Mark Smith on 27/07/2006 I bought a CWT2100 a few months ago. If you are intending to use the speakerphone facility you are going to be very, very dissapointed as you will be unable to hear anything more than a few inches away from the unit. Absolutely poor volume even with the volume control turned fully up!. No fault, thats how they are made. On my previous answerphone [an old panasonic]I could easily have a hands free conversation 8 or 10 ft away from the phone. CWT2100 not recommended. Rating:
Reviewed by Kev on 27-02-2006 I actually think this phone is very good for the price. As a lump of plastic and electronics I find it comfortable to use for long periods of
time and the actual unit feels sturdy and well built. I find that all but the rarely used functions are intuitive to use but I guess if you have you manual nearby everything is do-able. The ringing tone is loud enough to be heard from outside of the room and there are a number of tones to choose from so you don't get it confused with other phones in the house. The digital answer machine functions are easy to use and the audio quality is
as good as as a standard telephone call. The hands free / loudpeaker is adequate and certainly as good as on other phones I have used.
The only negative point I have with the phone is that the display gets dusty quickly in it's little recess and can be hard to see ubnless you are directly looking over it. One with more of an angle or an adjustable display would have been better. Rating:
Reviewed by Sheila Elmes on 12-02-2006 I bought one of these phones for my home office and find it poor.
The functions are not easy to use, and certainly not intuitive.
The speaker function is not good at all. Rating:
