This is a review site, not a forum, so please don't just ask questions. Please do not use swear words or offensive language, and please, no advertising! Reviewed by Jane J on 04/08/2010My parents have had this phone for over 5 years and I was just searching for replacement batteries when I found these abysmal reviews. They have been very pleased with these phones - they have the main station and 1 extension for the bedroom. Large easy to read digits, easy ansaphone operation, not overly complicated and no problems with fade away from the base station (mum takes it outside when she's gardening). All round a very acceptable package. Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewed by Neil M on 25/10/2006 The previous reviewer is absolutely correct! This phone is a shoddy piece of junk, nothing but trouble since day one...slighest murmur of thunder in the air and this phone just packs up! Pity us, the poor ignorant souls who purchased this ****...at least we won't get bitten again... Rating: ![]() Reviewed by Peter Bowe on 09-10-2003 Absolute garbage. Walk 1 foot away from the base station aand listen to your caller fade away. Picks up interference from any nearby overhead power cables. No hand set volume controls. So basically if you work in anything but an open field, 10 miles away from civilisation then buy this piece of plastic junk. Mind you - if a bird started singing nearby, I doubt that you would be able to hear your caller. Second thoughts dump the phone. Avoid at all costs. Nice box though! Rating: ![]()
