Reviewed by Andy Latham on 30/08/2010 The batteries are replaceable but the charging units do not switch off when the battery is fully charged so they cook the batteries so battery performance is drastically reduced and I replace batteries about every 4 to 6 months prompted by a call ending before I have finished. The last time I only got 20 minutes from a "fully charged" battery. Batteries are a continuing cost and are therefore expensive. By comparison I'm still on my original mobile phone batery after 7 years. Setting up your listed numbers is poor as it does not seem to have a back space so you can correct a digit or letter - you have to start again - consequently I only have 5 or 6 numbers in my phones ( Don't forget you have to do it for each handset. This phone is no longer available from BT. One of my handsets has just died. Replacement hansets come with charging units on E Bay at £24 inc post etc. Rating:
Reviewed by Piy Nitram on 11/09/2007 Sound quality is good but this is another BT phone whose extra charging unit (NOT the main base unit) misbehaves. After only a few weeks when a handset was placed on this unit I could not always get the charging light to come on and the phone would not charge. This deteriorated and the charging unit became useless - I gave up and will never buy another BT phone (previous BT phones gave me exactly the same problem - a design flaw). Batteries are not replaceable as far as I can tell and they run down very quickly. Also interrupting the answer phone to take a call is less than straight forward. Expensive and flawed! Rating:
Reviewed by ds on 29/08/2006 An excellent phone great value for money I would advise you to .buy it. Mine also came with a yello backlight instead of blue mentioned on the box. But it does say colour and contents may vary. Rating:

Even allows you to screen answerphone calls from the handsets.
The one that i have has a yellow backlight instead of the blue mentioned
