hi can anyone help me just bought a binatone icarus 800 but no manual, ive plugged it all in its been on charge 4 a few hours now but still the handset wont switch on the answer nachine is working though please please can anyone help email me at johanne_waugh@hotmail.co.uk thanks

It works very well, if care is taken with the position of the base unit the range is adequate. A plethora of features, considering the price, a bargain!

Bought second hand - anyone know how to adjust the number of rings before the answer phone sets in ??

It's OK, but have had some trouble with it. Whenever we go away on holiday, we switch off the electricity, so when we come back we have to recharge it. Otherwise no fault except that sometimes it cuts out when moving around the house or garden.

For the price, it's alright, but range not terribly good. If we switch the
power off, very slow to recharge - sometimes more than 24 hours before phone is usable again. Backup batteries run down very rapidly when not plugged in.
The phone came with a fault in the plug sonnection, which took ages for me
to fix. Could get a better phone with a better range.
