Reviewed by Geo Hanson on 07-01-2005 It works very well, if care is taken with the position of the base unit the range is adequate. A plethora of features, considering the price, a bargain!
If any one wants the full Binatone Icarus 800 user manual in PDF format on a CD I can supply one for a modest sum. tidder-man@ntlworld.com Rating:

Reviewed by Alison on 14-12-2004 Bought second hand - anyone know how to adjust the number of rings before the answer phone sets in ?? Rating:
Reviewed by Josie on 15-08-2004 It's OK, but have had some trouble with it. Whenever we go away on holiday, we switch off the electricity, so when we come back we have to recharge it. Otherwise no fault except that sometimes it cuts out when moving around the house or garden. Rating:
Reviewed by John on 15-08-2004 For the price, it's alright, but range not terribly good. If we switch the
power off, very slow to recharge - sometimes more than 24 hours before phone is usable again. Backup batteries run down very rapidly when not plugged in.
The phone came with a fault in the plug sonnection, which took ages for me
to fix. Could get a better phone with a better range. Rating:
